I can agree with this. I hate that he can now teleport to generators now and the fake pallets tick me off. I found it fun and challenging to play as Freddy but now not so much. He was the reason why I bought Dead By Daylight by the way.

The times I do it is because of things like I have a challenge that requires a certain survivor(like the obsession). I will also camp and tunnel a survivor that is not doing anything except hiding in lockers or on the outer edge of the map though in that situation camping isn't always necessary as the survivors occasionally don't want to rescue them from the hook anyways.

If that's the case if I need to chase an obsession I use the perk Nemesis so it shifts the obsession to another survivor. Camping and Tunneling screams to me that the killer sucks at this game. The killer already has it easy enough. They're only doing it to play dirty because they can get away with it.

Most killers camp for the survivors to go to struggle mode then mori them. So don't dare say that it's unbalanced!

Calm spirit isn't good at high tier play, because good survivors don't give a ######### if the killer knows where they are.
I played against a doctor that ran infectious fright, iron maiden, save the best for last, and deathbound so tell me that perk is useless 🙄

Actually if they buff Camaraderie to where it paused the hook as long as the killer is there that's all the payback I need.

With all the killers I've encountered using the new perk by the Blight that exposes you and makes you scream after a generator is touched tell me again that Calm Spirit is useless. Not to forget death bound.

The only thing that can counter that a little bit is distortion. Honestly that perk needs a buff since killers run BBQ with hex undying which makes hex ruin the pain in the ass before they reworked it all over again! Hex Undying needs a nerf!

When they make killers so op with certain perk add-on abilities to where people don't want to play the game anymore maybe then the development team will listen then. I'm almost to the point where I have almost no interest in DBD anymore. All of my online friends quit playing and I'm about to as well.

I think Freddy is the worst to go against. I yet to play a match since they buffed him where all four survivors escaped since he can teleport to any generator on the map. I get sick of playing against him instantly since most killers use BBQ, Discordance, Pop Goes The Weasel, and surveillance. Personally he needs a nerf!

I don't mind the perk in theory but I would suggest a change.
Instead of secretly revealing survivors for a few seconds, have it make the survivors scream, like doctor. This gives the killer locations and disrupts any action the survivors were taking. It also lets the survivors know they have to deal with BBQ. The tiers could simply increase the range of effect and, can be countered by Calm Spirit, (A underused perk, everyone wishes they had during a Doctor match.)
Nothing quite ruins immersion like the killer knowing exactly where you are.
It's called lockers and distortion. Survivors have a big enough advantage as it is.

You had a tuft of hair... So the fact that they made it out alive makes them smart. I play both killer and survivor and I play both to win. Crying that people escape on here is pointless. Get over it and move on to the next match.

It's so stupid. I own all of the DLC myself and I'm not going to blow an extra $50 for a PS4 theme. They should make the theme only available for purchase.

Honestly I only play killer to get the trophies and bloodpoint challenges. If I have a toxic survivor that guy is dead on first hook.

Playing killer isn't fun. When I do decide to play killer I get screwed but survivors. The best way to play as killer is to find a way to slow generator times down. Ever since they nerfed hex ruin it's been Hell for killers.

I ended up using a matchbox and a Shroud of Separation to slow the survivors down enough to get it. Thanks for the tips tho guys!

Because I played mainly as survivor that's why my devotion is so high. Playing killer sucks!

I quit playing because the developers don't care if anyone enjoys the game. They never balance the game and if you get a match with other toxic survivors or killers the game is trash.

Try using the doctor first. All you do is shock people and you get a ton of bloodpoints for it then use perks like BBQ and Chilli to earn more bloodpoints when hooking survivors.

I was having that problem so I decided to make matches more fair by playing like the dirty killers red ranks deserve. It could be what perks that you're using that also puts you at a disadvantage.

I lost that match because the DC was being a baby and all the red ranks did was troll me. I saw a flashlight and a key being brought in so next time I decided to play as a dirty killer since the match making is trash. But yeah this game is so perfect and we'll balanced 🙄

I put more time in this game than anything Believe me I know enough about it. What I'm getting at is developers catered towards certain players and they don't care about how things are supposed to work.

I like to mash up Barrowed Time with Babysitter. That makes it extremely difficult for camping and tunneling killers. Had a toxic doctor looking through lockers because he didn't realize that I used babysitter since he camped! 🤣

I played 3 rounds as killer last night and it wasn't fun at all. If I got a survivor they would DC because they were a poor sport. If I was about to exit through the gate they would DC because they got beat. The developers don't care anymore because they got your money. At least that's how I feel anymore.

Players like you is what is ruining this game. The killers have a decent advantage as it is. Depending on the killer, the perks, and the add-ons used you should be able to get a 4k at least 55% of the time. Just because you don't always get a 4k doesn't mean that you are bad player.

Honestly if they made it to where great skill checks don't progress generators faster and it caused a 10% decrease in time to fix generators that would be fair I think.

Of course killers hang on to it like a crutch. Virtually every match I play it's a hex ruin. It comes to show you that if the developers were smarter they would make it to where perks that cause a generator regression stack like all the health add-ons they nerfed because killers were crying.

I hear you on that. I had almost all five generators done and was against the Trapper. He played like garbage the whole match and all of the sudden he started to mori people. He got only one hook on me because I went to save the last survivor while he camped her and the hatch. A Mori should only be accessible after two hooks not one I feel. Had the killer not used it he would have been beat badly.

I say this because I played a game as wraith where three survivors dc'd on their first down, making me waste my bloody party streamers and them loose all the bonus points if they would have STAYED AT THE GAME FOR MORE THAN ONE HOOK
I had a match where a killer was wraith and quit at the beginning of the match like a jerk. I lost my offering and party streamers was used.

confronted them on it, blamed them for their altruism since they could've escaped as a 3, but decided to come back and give me 2 more kills, but they proceed to complain that I ''proxy camped'' the basement and that it wasn't fair.
So basically, I'm supposed to let my leverage go for free and ensure you guys get out? The doors are powered, its the best move to keep relatively close to the basement and ensure a kill. Or should I teleport to the other side of the map, let you 3 go and get to a post-game chat of ''gg ez baby killer''?
Playing as killer, you really do see the entitlement and hypocrisy that a lot of survivors have. They expect free saves, or to escape every game and if you do, god forbid, the best play possible in a certain situation, its not fair?
Are survivors entitled?
OMG I swear too many people here take this game way too serious and it's getting old. Who cares what they think. You got your kills and if they weren't smart enough to cleanse the portal first its their own dumb fault. Moving on.

So why would you block what perks you used? Sounds to me like they beat you fair enough and you are sore about it. Not enough people play as killer because it is boring and more interesting to work hard to stay alive. That's why you guys get good survivors in a match. Not enough killers to balance out the rank system. I get it's annoying but if it was better being the killer more people would play as one instead.

I had to take a break from the game myself. I was getting sick of playing toxic match after match. The game isn't even fun anymore and just sucks now. They nerfed way too many healing items for survivors and if there is any good perk for a survivor that works they will nerf that too. Ash Williams only good perk Metal Of Man was nerfed along with decisive strike and a handful of other perks but yet let's give Freddy a big buff to where he's way OP now. Over thousands of people quit playing this game and more will come. Still love the dedicated servers we never got by the way.
