When we look at things killers are actually all really weak. Because it is straight upfront 4 survivors with his knows what perks, items and add ons on (A large variety of combinations). We then look at the killers with 4 perks there power and 2 add ons. The strength of one killer needs to equate to the strength of four survivors. In actual fact in summary. You should not get a notification that the killer has this perk after doing 1 skillcheck. It basically gives away the perk and the survivors will just go hunt for it and get rid of it within seconds like Hex: Ruin. It should only notify survivors once the killer has obtained all 5 tokens (similar to Hex: Devour Hope when the killer gets 3 tokens and starts insta-downing people). Yes, no one wants to hear about matchmaking and ranks anymore. But I still feel like I need to rant. I know this game's ranking system is merely a matchmaking tool and most people know that rank doesn't mean much. But that's exactly the problem. Being punished for ranking up is simply bizarre. Hello, Indeed the problem is the different difficulty of pipping between survivor and killer. It´s much easier to pip as survivor and harder to pip for killers. In my opinion, this is the reason why survivors have longer waittimes in lobbys at the momend. Cause many killers don't like playing high ranks. I think most people who played him would agree demogorgong on the paper seems pretty strong but in action he is pretty trash feeling and there is very few cases where he actually gets a down with his power where other killers wouldn't be able to. I think that most of us can agree that the current patch of the game is broken. Dedicated servers have been causing perks not to function properly. The hitboxes on some killers is an absolute joke (I'm looking at you, hatchets). The new rank reset system is...insane. Listen, I get it. You think solos would be crushed. But let's think for a moment. Solos, for the most part, seemingly already do while SWF who's sweating is way too powerful. Maps are bad, but so is general gen time. Even if all Chase's were 15 seconds the killer must -hook 3 times -carry the survivor -hook them -find survivors. (Perks can drastically help.) I wish they brought the "matchmaking glitch" back, where it would show you the rank of the other survivors. Instead of the survivors getting punished for a killer camping early game lets punish the killers instead, and emblem penalty is not really a punishment since rank doesn't affect really anything. I know they were removed because of a spawning issue in the bloodweb but that seems like a lame reason to remove them. Most if not all wiki and informational dbd apps have the original perk tiers because it makes it easier to see the tiers. The basic concept, get between the hook and the hooked survivor and bait the killer into swinging. They aim assist into the hooked survivor giving enough time to unhook while they're in cool down.
