In identity V surviors get punished if they rescue badly ( they get terror shocked which means that they instantly go down, but there is still alot of counterplay to it ) In dbd rescuer has i-frames even if you clearly hit him and deathslinger spear goes 99% trough the rescuer or teleports to the unhooked who ofc got borrowed time. So one of the standard endgame plays in DbD is the whole conga-line thing when survs (myself included) will bodyblock an injured surv from pretty much half the map away from an exit knowing that they can take the hit, take the 'sprint burst' away while slowing the killer enough, rinse and repeat, original injured surv and the survs taking hits all escape. Wondering if it would make sense to show a SWF/duos indicator in lobby when you play as killer? There is a recent popular thread discussing the light burn mechanic and how it mostly punishes wraith and hag. While lightburning a nurse is possible, you basically need the stars to align and be a flashlight sniper god to make it happen. So, i recently got Xbox gamepass for PC, and immediatly installed Dead By Daylight. On launch nothing seemed wrong, but of course i wanted to learn how to play, so i started with the survivor tutorial. But, to my surprise the game seemed to freeze with every mouse-click and keyboard-press. The game froze untill i let go of the key i pressed. First no I am not a killer main, I play both sides about 50/50 based on queue times at different times of day. Also I know this isn't a "realistic game," but the one thing that probably bugs me most is survivors being able to swing camera angle while working on a gen. This game is far from Balanced. It's a lot harder to play Survivor now. Majority of Killers run Nurses, Sloppy Butcher, Thanataphobia & BBQ & Chilli. Problem is they shrunk the maps, made gens slower, removed a lot of pallets & took away safer Windows. So with killers running these perks it takes forever to heal up and even do gens. I was a killer main, but I switched to survivor. Playing as killer is so stressful. Most of the times you just have to wait until survivor makes a mistake. And if you make one or two mistakes you are probably going to lose. Almost before every game I wonder if I really want to go into the match. I've been in the situation many times as survivor and killer where you both wait at Hatch and always, unless the survivor can body block the 'close hatch' prompt from appearing for the killer, the killer always closes it as priority. But lately, since the update, the survivors have been able to jump in for free. The closing/stomp animation literally gets cancelled midway through it. I’m rlly proud of myself. I have wanted this game for years and I was finally allowed to get it at the beginning of April, with all of the quarantine going on.
