DBD freezing on keypresses.

So, i recently got Xbox gamepass for PC, and immediatly installed Dead By Daylight. On launch nothing seemed wrong, but of course i wanted to learn how to play, so i started with the survivor tutorial. But, to my surprise the game seemed to freeze with every mouse-click and keyboard-press. The game froze untill i let go of the key i pressed. And as you can see in the video, just looking around is no problem for me. I've looked around the forum, saw lots of things about disabling vsync and uncapping my framerate, but none of these things worked. And so i hoped maybe somebody could help for my specific case.

My monitor: MSI Optix MAG271C - 144Hz

My Pc build: ~AMD Ryzen 7 2700X - 8 Cores

~32 GB RAM (i know it's way too much and i should've spent my money on other things 😓 )

~NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER

As for my internet, i have a stable 300 mbps connection.

I've just tried to play an online match, and the freezing thing still keeps happening. In the video i've changed some settings, but no luck.

As you suggested i tried looking around on the forums, but found no help. It's exactly the same problem, but with a different game. I too have razer cortex and wondered if it would help...

And wouldn't you know it, i exited cortex, and voila. All issues fixed, game runs smoothly on ultra settings and max resolution scale. I'm so happy i can now enjoy the game to the fullest. Thank you for giving me a push in the right direction 😄
