I think increasing the time it takes to disarm them to 3 seconds is fair. I dont think it should be removed entirely.
If its a real problem for you run franklins and prioritize the person with flashlight.
It would be interesting to hear @SpaceCoconut thoughts on this though
I find the most annoying, and surprisingly common, annoying use of a flashlight is going up aganist a coordinated team running OOO. They can see everything you do and destroy your traps while you are chasing or prepping other areas of the board. Buffing the removal time would make futile scenarios like this less prolonged.

It's strange right? She plays a bit like Wraith with the hit and run, but she downs quickly too. Slugging is also recommended if you're chasing a few people at once. Also, I think I forgot to say, but don't chase much, even if someone is being annoying and disarming your traps, don't commit to a chase and continue to reset your web, patience is important.
I keep falling into the trap of getting lots of hits, but not a lot of downs. Games with monitor definitely seem to go better than without--does that 8m terror radius reduction really make that much of a difference? Do you have any builds you like involving stealthy hag/m&a? Ty for all the advice!
Ugh lots of teams seem to have an ooo user who burns off your traps with a flashlight. So annoying xD

You make points but something that bugs me, just because she ignores the regular pallets and windows doesn't mean there aren't any tools left for survivors. Yeah pallets and windows aren't very good against her, but in their place are walls and LOS breaking. People act like just because you can't ring around the rosie a pallet/window means there isn't anything you can do.
That's a fair point. I think I more met that only nurse has that level of mobility and ability to ignore looping compared to the other killers. She has counters, but her theoretical power level is so much higher than everyone's else because she can teleport. But on a tier list of practical skillcap and feels good to play, Spirit and Freddy will give the majority of players better results with much less effort required.
Walls and LOS breakers are definitely a valid strat aganist her.

Corrupt would work instead, definitely. STBFL just does wonders against SWF.
After two rounds, I could see how this build would be good on a very agressive hag. I realized how much I rely on monitor and abuse to get that first hit in--without m&a, survivors were fleeing gens and patrol routes a lot quicker and I felt like I got less nurses procs even though the group was consistently healing. A fun, strong build, but I think I'm starting to love the stealth, hit and run style of playing hag

It is important to take platform into account as well. I find my purple rank survivor and killer queue times on pc are consistently under 2-3 minutes tops (maybe longer for killer on off-peak hours), but PS4 has insanely long survivor queue times (not unheard of for 20-40+ wait times for SWF or rank 20s).

I have been hearing a LOT of talk lately from people saying that Nurse is trash now. While I think the people who are saying she "has no counterplay" are wrong, she is clearly still strong.
+Best chases in the game
+High skill ceiling
+Great perk synergies to get back in chases and keep pressure
-Glitches that NEED to be fixed
-Limited map control due to the blink recharge
There are some killers that can approach her chase potential, such as Billy, Spirit, and Oni. The problem is that they rely on RNG a bit, because they have to deal with pallets and vaults, whereas Nurse always has the chance to make a read and get the down. Once you play her enough, you will get frustrated trying to play other killers. No other killer compares.
While talking about whether nurse is the best killer or not, I think it is important to consider her theoretical and practical skill cap. In theory, she fundamentally ignores the game mechanics and can wreck for sure--provided that you don't encounter her miles long bug list, stun stimulation, and have put the crazy amount of hours into her. In practice, she feels gross to play, she is a bug monster, and is very punishing. I can toss on Spirit and still wreck a swf without all of the bugs or frustration.
To the average player, I think Spirit has a more accessible basekit that you will do well with without needing to put a million hours into her.

Ok so I got this DISGUSTING build. I made it myself ages ago, but it really does work if you're on point with the traps. Thanatophobia, Sloppy Butcher, A Nurses caling and Save the best for last. You trap routes and some loops (mostly routes though but the OP loops have to be trapped) in one half of the map. Survivors can't even bother healing because it takes FOREVER, and even if they do get a heal, they'll likely run into your traps. STBFL is mainly for SWF matchups when they run through your traps, it can let you change that disadvantage into a complete advantage and down/injure them easily. A Nurses Calling is to find them if they do try to heal (which they do oddly enough) and Thanatophobia + Sloppy combo just gives you complete gen pressure in your half of the map.
Very overpowered build, weak early game (expect to lose 2-3 gens on the other side) but almost unbeatable late game. Against flashlight matchups, you gotta commit to your half and try to set up before they get to you, that way you can down them quickly. But, it will be tough to win with this setup, but not impossible.
Addons wise, I actually don't use anything but brown addons, if you want full map pressure, use her green range addon and the green trap duration addon then you can trap the whole map.
You will learn Hag over experience though, and this build could not be your style at all, do tell me if you like it.
(My god, I went on a mad one explaining the build lol hope it helps)
Ooo this looks positively devious. For a noob hag, could you drop STBFL for corrupt maybe? I know hag is supposed to give up gens early, but that early game gen loss is crazy XD
Thank you for the reply!

Please let me know if this is derailing the thread, but all of you talking about hags strengths make me want to check her out! What are some of your favourite builds and add-ons on her? Most of the builds I see for her incorporate pre-nerf ruin, so I am wondering what the meta for her is, especially for a newbie.
