This issue has less to do with balance and more to do with player retention. I'm sure many people would agree with me when I say generators are outdated. Usually while only one survivor occupies chase three other survivors must repair generators. But nobody really wants to sit on a generator for 80 seconds literally just holding M1. Title. As far as I know, he's the only (or one of the only) killer with their 'meme' addons not being a brown or yellow. Most killers have at least one addon that gives them a wonky, disadvantageous playstyle in return for more BP. First of all I know I said I was going to stay away from the community and I lied (partially). I have quit other games for the same crap that behavior is doing right now, targeting parts of the game that nobody asked for. As example path of exile, they literally butchered part of their community and paid a heavy price for it. I just played 3 games and got the same exact killer 3 times in a row. The first game he camped/tunneled out the first hooked survivor inspite of my effort to body block and protect that player. The rest of us managed to escape with good teamwork and body blocking. The next 2 matches I got the same exact killer and he camped/tunnels with Bubba. Why are you not nerfing the most used perk in the game, but instead nerf addons of killers that have very small play rate? You guys said in a recent post that you don't want to rush changes. My game has been crashing a lot more since the update, and every time it does I end up with a penalty for it. This is the second time this week I lost blood points and have had to sit for an entire hour because the game decided to not work at the very end of my match. Edit: I think many people missed the point of this thread completely. Wheter the tunnel, camp, noed and other stuff is healthy, unhealthy balanced, tryhardy on unfun is not the point here. Game is how it is right now. Like Lightborn, Shadowborn, Starstruck, Mad grit,Enduring, brutal strenght etc? So Im a pure killer main and i see survivors run meta builds like 90% of the time. I myself tend to run builds that dont really help in chase but make playing killer a little bit more enjoyable. I feel like many things survivors do to "annoy" killers can be countered by perks. The build is Ruin, Pentimento, Thanatophobia, and Plaything, I'm currently on a 78 game win streak with this build. I feel like this build is a bit strong? Not sure how something like this could maybe be tuned down as in my opinion it might be too oppressive for survivors. For reference I normally play Demo, Nemesis, and Blight. So it is not fully leveled yet but I am working on it. The idea is to spawn in and trap every single pallet around one side of the map in the first 30 seconds and then just be an M1 killer purely focused on a 3-4 gen defense after that. Just imagine the perk that would get ban in every trial. Each survivor can ban a perk and the killer can ban 4 perk. I can already see the ban on each side survivor would ban corrupt, deadlock, ruin and pop. Killer would ban dead hard, bt, CoH and DS if its a spirit she would ban iron will.
