You’re running a loop.. generic tile or shack for example and you’re keeping it nice and tight then suddenly BAM your foot gets stuck in the dirt and now you’ve just lost 2 full meters of distance which inevitably gets you killed. This has been around for literally as long as I can remember and I’m sure it’s happened to you or at least it eventually will. It could be a mental thing but I legiti18 comments 481 views last activity

I don't know, this is kind of a silly rant, but every evening that I play as killer (so pretty much all of them) has this moment when one pallet is that one pallet too much and I get smacked in the face and I think "why even bother? There are so many pallets..." Pallets are a core element of the game, but there ate just so damn many of them. I have seen full blown store houses with fewer pallet10 comments 161 views last activity

Basically everybody agrees that Nurse is by far the best killer, sometimes even in a tier of her own. Why does nobody care that she's OP? I believe she deserves to be balanced like every other killer but she's barely been changed at all over the years except for her add-ons. I just never see anybody mention nerfing her.174 comments 4,952 views last activity

I see a lot of people talking about how annoying things like pinhead's chain hunt is, and I mostly hear people complaining about how it's passive gen slowdown done in a really boring way. People also seem to really dislike old freddy's passive gen slowdown. So, if you guys could take the wheel, how would you implement a killer with a passive gen slowdown ability? Would you try to make it interact3 comments 71 views last activity

I feel like it may be time for me to move on. By leaving the forums I'm done. The end of it was one or two comments give or take on my last post. It's clear I don't really have a place in the forums at the minute. I don't want to have the fear that Everytime I post something good or bad whatever that I'm gonna get heckled. It's not a good feeling. I have had to deal with not fitting in for years19 comments 1,251 views last activity

Playing as killer I decided to throw in a sacrificial ward to cancel out any survivor offerings; a survivor threw in the Eyrie of crow map offering, needless to say we went to the Eyrie of crows map. Is this a bug??? Or did i just get poor RNG and we went to that map anyway. How exactly are Sacrificial wards intended to work?10 comments 211 views last activity

I looked over my last posts and they where all negative. So I tried to talk think about something positive but...nothing comes in my mind. There isn't anything positive that changed. And when something changed for the better it was only because we had to make posts about it for Months/Years. This game right now is... A boring mess that doesn't get new exciting content. It's always the same. New9 comments 201 views last activity

You play twin you pounce a survivor only to get DH validated and kick right after so you tell yourself its fine its not so far away i can get there fast enough to restart the chase with charlotte but when you get there shes full health because she is in a boon area. At that moment you know youre not fine but hey you tell yourself ok now i just need to not get validated again and the game is still1 comments 101 views last activity

You can tunnel the team and facecamp without feeling bad at all. And you get the survivors to babyrage afterwards since you didn't play nice even though they brought circle of healing. Win/win!3 comments 121 views last activity

This is an extremely overtuned and over used perk, why is it not being nerfed? Or just remove it completely. Same thing with COH, way to overtuned and completely game changing. While we're at it, here's some other perks that are just too op and they need to be removed completely. Bloodwarden getting rating by 2 out of 5 by otz due to the reason he said that survivor have to be stupid to make bloodwarden works, maybe in tournament lol In average game survivor will always try to help their teammate, will t bag Infront of exit gate, they won't leave as soon as exit gate open if they teammate are being chased. Yes they will 99% the exit gate, but you can easily slug18 comments 371 views last activity

"Why was toy sword nerfed?" "Why was stale biscuit nerfed despite it being weak?" "Why is billy still in the state he's in?" "Why is slinger still in the state he's in?" All questions that could be answered with a little communication and probably make a lot of people happy. Unless you're scared of the backlash you would receive due to the methods you use to balance thing cough meaningless8 comments 731 views last activity

So there are challenges I want to get done in just a match or two but how am I supposed to tell how close I am in a match like Doctor's static blast challenge I wanna know how close I am to completing it so why can't they just show a small progress bar for it or at least something that gives you a check mark telling you completed that challenge in the match.2 comments 41 views last activity

Something I've noticed as of late is that other Billy players on PC tend to never overheat, at first I thought they were just stacking add-ons, but I've realized it's because they rarely need to feather their chainsaw. The problem here is that on console since your aiming with your thumb, you HAVE to feather your saw a bit to get survivors into a predictable move, this means you gain more heat an7 comments 161 views last activity

Dead Hard is the most pathetic perk for survivors, the only condition for its use is being injured and you can use it as many times as you want while you're injured. At high ranks people don't even bother to heal themselves because they know they have a second chance at any time. The mechanic of activating this perk should change, as the absurd amount of times the killer must deal with this34 comments 371 views last activity

According to these statistics, his best moment in history was bringing resident evil But the great disappointment that Nemesis was at being an average and even weak killer, caused many to be disappointed. My first advice rework to nemesis . The arrival of the boom totems and nerfs to the killers must stop. The appeal of the game is the killers but not the50 comments 2,571 views last activity

Right now, I'm getting hostage by a hacker by him bypassing the EGC timer. I can't DC, because if I'll do it I will get penalized for nothing. I finished my presentation and essay today so I was thinking about playing some artist games and trying to master her as well as I can. First match and there is two hackers with broken flashlighs, insta-heals, 30 seconds long locker stun and all that stuff103 comments 941 views last activity

Keeping it simple of course. I could dive into it hard but for the sake of conversation I won't. People feel the handicap as the killer much harder than they feel any handicaps as survivor. Most killers struggle terribly trying to catch up to any survivor they see from a distance. It's a walking simulation. Bridging the gap is an atrocity for most. You've been there a 100 times. You see a s12 comments 821 views last activity

Chasing a survivor is the most interactive and fun thing you can do in a game, and I would say especially more so when both the killer and the survivor are not really good. If the killer is decent and the survivor is about the same skill level, chases can be pretty fun since little mindgames on either side can work out most of the time. This makes for some pretty interesting and fun chases thro24 comments 511 views last activity

I get it, you're showing the game to a friend and there is nothing wrong with that. But why do I have to deal with your 10 hour friend in my lobby when I'm in the thousands of hours? More often than not, everyone is above 500 hours, even above 1000 (including the killer) and there's a survivor with 10-20 hours that someone decided to bring along, making it an obvious 3v1. Why is SWF once again58 comments 1,202 views last activity

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I-YVGfHfGS4 If you didn't know, Scott made a video about 2 meme builds which turned out to be not so meme. But I am mainly focusing on the first one. I tried the second one as well but I didn't enjoy it to much. I took a break from the forums a few months ago because at the time I felt like the killer mains here just complain about EVERYTHING. I also took 2 months away from the game and came back to it about 3 weeks ago. Well today I decided to play killer. I never liked playing killer because of the first person view but I went through with playing a few games. Killer mains....I'm sorry. I doubted you31 comments 941 views last activity

Would the removal of hexs and boons be actually healthy for DBDs state that it is in right now? Sure there are plenty of players that hands down rely on them especially Hags. I just feel like behavior could do a test trial build where they try to see if they game would be more balanced when they got taken out. Granted they would need to replace those perks with ones that were maybe not as stro9 comments 211 views last activity

EDIT: im adding a tldr from my last comment since the thread is getting messy. TLDR: make phase 1 hook accessible to the last survivor, lasting 10 second and an attempt at escape taking away 4. he still gets 3 attempts, he can fail and die instantly when reaching phase 2, he can succeed and immediatly get hooked again, or he can succeed and manage to survive if he has the right perks. unhookin95 comments 2,176 views last activity

So since we will get some juice shards when they take the bubba faces away I will have enough to get me a new killer but I just don't know who to get. At the moment I stand between blight, doc or clown/artist but both kinda need me to hit on range and I'm not that good at that. Since I already have undying and pop I don't even have perks to direct me a bit. Give me your thoughts maybe even an9 comments 81 views last activity

My last game of the night actually gave me hope for the community of DbD......after 3 games of Survivor where I did 2 gens and looped the Killer I was left on the Hook while the other Survivors did NOTHING.......I decided to go Killer for a few games before bed. When Pinhead first came out, I was super stoked about his power, cause we've never seen anything like it in the game. A dude who has a ranged ability that you can steer as it flies through the air? And he has passive slowdown? That's absolutely wild! It's been a few months since he came out, but he has aged particularly poorly I think. So I am not going to discuss why when playing killer this perk is a nightmare, we all know it, (just couple of matches ago I had such a magnificent loss as a Nurse on Ormond because no matter how many times I had all 4 of them injured COH just wiped all my pressure away, I did make a mistake of constantly trying to keep everyone injured to hope for some end game snowball but I just was not fast11 comments 191 views last activity

I would arguably say that Portait of a Murder was a pretty solid Chapter, no huge or game breaking bug. The survivor looks alright, his perks are okey, nothing too crazy but also nothing too broken, I would say at the very least Overcome is just a lazy excuse of a Perk. However the Artist was amazing, she has 3 VERY good perks which makes her for newer players already one of the best chapters to38 comments 1,091 views last activity

Number 1: The ugly gremlin Vampire Number 2: The "looking like a historical figure" Vampire. Number 3 (the most hated and the most loved concept): The pretty boy Vampire. I know what the top pick for DBD twitter and the horny DBD community is ;)))) P.S: Like it39 comments 671 views last activity

Ruin and undying is not that good on something like deathslinger and clown since you have no mobility and can't put people on another side of the map of gen, sure you might get use on gen 2-3 but at that point of the game it probably get cleaned. Better to run garuntee slow down perk such as deadlock no way out, dead man switch in next update will probably fix this issue and bloodwarden for m6 comments 131 views last activity

So I took a break from dbd for about a month and a few days, came back for the 1.5x bp event, in 6 killer matches today I saw 23 DH in total. Just like old ruin DH needs to be changed since it is in almost every match. Nothing but meta perks, how is that fun for anyone? Now this goes for both sides. I played 2 survivor matches and 6 killer matches. Survivor matches were almost the same, facec20 comments 191 views last activity

Hexes aren't really a perk category themselves but rather a modifier to an existing category and have multiple problems that make them frustrating to use. They are powerful in theory, but mediocre in practice. The first major problem is the risk. Hex perks can be lost within the first 20 seconds of the match if you are unlucky. this means if you want to keep a perk active, you need to run undyin15 comments 293 views last activity

I mostly play solo q and since MMR has been added, I can't seem to boost it. I've tried bring super boosted items and sweating but typically I get tunneled out the game/I get a string of really good killers that put me right back with the epic store kids. I could understand why huntress had it. i mean she throws them and they get faster and fly better when you wind up longerso yeah. but why does deathslinger needs to windup that slow. He has not the range like huntress (18 meters) and only the first shot you hit is a guaranteed injure. but at least he got a small terror radi- oh never mind its 32 meters. so he cant even be stealthy to get8 comments 171 views last activity

Just use noed if they use boon they wont break totem so your noed will always activate. Survivor will say you use noed you are trash but you are using the best counter possible against them. I've probably spent about 2-3 million bp on Jonah and I still don't have Kindred. I have 79 perks unlocked. It's astounding to me that as someone who plays solo survivor and typically stays away from the meta how ######### stupid the grind is in this game. All the generic perks that aren't teachables should just be ######### unlocked at tier 3 by default.17 comments 411 views last activity
