If they’re injured they can DH and give a false hit.
Hillbilly has an add-on (same with Bubba) where the killer gets extra BP for chainsaw hits but doesn't take them down in one shot.
Otherwise if that wasn't it, if they used DH at the right time, the game and the stupid hit validation would tell you as a killer that you got a hit but the game didn't actually register it as a hit so the survivor gets to keep runnin around.
If they have the endurance status, or whatever it is called. Borrowed Time or Soul Guard, basically.
That must be it. It was just after they unhooked someone and they were hightlighted white after the hit. Borrowed time and Endurance sounds right. Thanks.
