Ive played numerous games with trapper over the years and im sure im at ten captures by now. Im working on my plat trophy ill play more games but im sure it wont let me have it
You need to grab them out of the trap, not just have them step in it.

Wait did you actually call looping an exploit!? Lmfao dude

Even though you cant buy him anymore, Demogorgon is still by far the most balanced in the game

Ah yes my time to shine! Okay so firstly perks. My standard build is stbfl, corrupt, bbq, and shadowborn. But unless you arent a shadowborn addict i wouldnt use it, instead put on maybe plaything, or pop. Your general strategy will be to get decent portal set up at gens early for later and get really good at shreds, then when the time comes use your portals with bbq to head to gens people are on, or are near. Make sure you try to keep consistent pressure, and though addons arent necessary, i would suggest rat liver and tail, black heart, barbs glasses, and mews guts. Other than that all you need to do is learn how to abuse shreds to get easy hits at jungle gyms and shack, and when to prioritize accordingly with stbfl. You can also bring hexes like ruin and devour and protect them with portals, or with make your choice teleport back to the basement and get a free down. Demo has infinite potential and is a ton of fun, but if you want a more in depth explanation i stream lol id be happy to show anyone.

I don't get it. Everybody and their mother thinks NOED at least needs a change of some sort but it hasn't been touched in a very very long time? Why? Why is it that the forums gets complaints about it basically every day but the devs pretty much haven't even spoke of it?
inb4 I get a ton of "but dead hard" replies.
Because even though it should be changed, alot of things are alot more pressing than a single perk. Its the same thing for blights hug tech, should it be this way, no. But is it on the top of the list, no.

I just find it boring I get it's a strategy thing but I find myself facing more and more killers with it so I've just come to think every killer brings.
Well then you better understand why people use it.
-
Because bt body blocking takes away the entire point of the perk by making it useful for someone other than the hooked survivor. Bt is supposed to be an anti tunnel giving the person an extra hit, but it shouldnt be ok when they use that hit on protecting someone else and getting everyone out when the killer cant do anything about it
-
@egg_ said:
How and why would you nuke BT?
I agree for everything else. Nuke all perks, survivors and killers
Simple, make it so you cant body block with it

Clown could use a better rework, but a buff was needed. Hag would go from high a to s tier all the way down to mid d tier if she had less than eight traps. Both are counterable

FNAF is a pure jumpscare generator with zero substantive psychological horror elements. I resent it like I resent movies that lean only on jumpscares for their "horror". And though Springtrap is the least so, all the killers therein are cartoonish and virtually impossible to take seriously on their own merit.
Given the primary demographic for DBD are adolescents, and many of them were fans of FNAF when they were kids, it's understandable they they view the games and its characters through a nostalgic lens, and as better and deeper than they actually were. Kind of like gen X'ers and Star Wars (let's see how many people I can piss off, lol).
DBD bringing in FNAF would be like the Simpsons/Family Guy crossover, or putting Goosebumps in a compilation of the masters of horror. Selling off the last vestiges of your dignity in the name of broadening your audience.
JMHO.
Well clearly you never actually played a fnaf game if you say it has zero elements besides jumpscares. I think we all dont really care about the jumpscares, its more so the buildup. None of them look cartoony (besides fnaf world obviously) and springtrap is the definition of a dbd killer. He is a murderer that had something really ######### up happen to him and now he is forever stuck in this world. Thats literally perfect for dbd. And also people say he doesnt fit in the gane while we have trickster, mr. Puddles, and even Christmas skins. And if he was in dbd i will garuntee that jumpscares wouldnt be apart of him at all because that would be stupid.

On rpd they added 3 hooks in library, it was maps exploit, not the perk. So why nerf it? Whole poin of the perk was to prevent killer from jumping and make him go straight, now he can jump from stairs like there is no tomorrow and wont get punished for that. Perk is almost useless now
You are forgetting that now, boil over has an increased distance where the killer cant see hook auras. Its not almost useless its just not exploitable.

Both are tied together because of how stupid OP his chainsaw is.
1) If Bubba could NOT turn so easily, then guess what? He would not be able to facecamp so well, because you could run him around the hook and bait a chainsaw miss.
The issue is Bubba can do whatever he wants. He can spam his chainsaw, he can turn while swinging it, etc.
It needs a nerf REALLY bad to fix these issues.
His ability to turn isnt op and you clearly have no idea how to counter bubba at all.
If they nerfed him like that he would be unplayable garbage because he is low b tier as is

it never was the exploit, it was a chance to escape in some circumstances, it was worth to play with it, for now that perk is useless as it was before
Actually it isnt, and it was exploitable like on the rpd library. The point is to make it easier to wiggle out, not garuntee it every time.

Not really. If you know where she placed traps, you can go and trigger them when she is about to hook a survivor. Not many players do this one.
SWF. They will just call out where she placed a trap.
Hold w when she is placing a trap at a loop.
Trust me, Hag has a lot of counters, many players just decide not to do them or know how to play against her.
Which is why people should play here more so people actually learn how to go against her

But isn't it worse trapper because she can only hit survivors herself, and has to hit twice anyway?
I mean you could say that but it doesnt really matter. Besides any really smart survivor can easily disable a bear trap while if you are in chase avoiding hag traps is really hard to pull off
-
@BabyCameron10 said:
She isn’t really underrated but pretty boring on both sides. Might as well play The Twins or Bubba if you want to camp.
The Hag relies too much on her traps to get anywhere, which have many counters. If she isn’t using her traps in game, she is just a 110m/s killer with no power.
"By many counters"
Girl she has two counters and one of which relies on an item.
-
@NinjatheeClumsy said:
Most people play her completely wrong... she has to be played a very specific campy way
That simply isnt true lol
-
@fulltonon said:
How she can be S tier? by camping?
Setting up a web of traps is like a good trapper on steroids.
-
@Brokenbones said:
Nobody plays her because many people find her power/playstyle boring
You have to play her differently to the majority of the killers, given her power and such.
Typically I run STBFL, Sloppy Butcher, Pain resonance & Monitor. That's my go to build
Which is really annoying because then they will go love on the most boring and generic killers in the game. No we dont need another legion or ghostface player, they are both boring for both sides and i dont see how anyone finds them fun.

As far as I was aware - the only way you can "counter" them is to look at a wall while picking up. Anything else puts it on the survivor.
When there are no walls, whats the counter?
Bait it out or slug. If they arent on gens you really shouldnt care. You can make it even easier with certain killer powers where you can place something on the ground and pretend to pick them up as a bait, or shock around with doctor.
-
Look, i love lightborn just as much as the next guy for some laughs but flashlights are nowhere near being op. If you actually need to waste a perk slot to counter an item which is so easily countered anyway, you have some learning to do.
-
I think the only really bad ones are autohaven and the game

Just had one of 'those' games - Cenobite, against a pretty good 3man SWF on The Game. Ended up sweating for 2 hooks. Literally...nothing I can do, every pallet used, every loop exploited. Just a really mean, nasty game - and of course I get teabagged and told to uninstall in postgame.
Another horror is RPD on Deathslinger or Huntress. Or Haddonfield on...basically anyone.
If you play it right then the game isnt that bad, especially as pinhead since he is anti loop with a good passive power.

@GHOSTfaceP3 said:
Ok why are boons not fine?
The ability for the whole team to heal as fast as they wanted with no cap infinitely since the boon can easily be replaced removes every single ounce of pressure you have by keeping people injured since they can just heal again by themselves. And there are occasional totem spawns like the library in rpd which would waste too much time to go snuff and have it be replaced less than a minute later. Its just simply way too powerful to keep up without anti healing and slowdown

Dont buff it, its fine as is.

Yes, it's a thing. But it's unused for some reason. And here is its description:
The Hearing Status Effect temporarily impairs the hearing of Survivors and Killers, muffling their audio and playing a high-pitched whistling sound.
Can someone tell why Hag's Add-On, Disfigured Ear, doesn't give survivors the Hearing Status Effect? Because Disfigured Ear will deafen survivors if they activate her traps, so wouldn't hearing be perfect a perfect status effect for this Add-On?
And wouldn't it also fit Flashbang and Blast Mine as well? Because they go boom xd
Actually the perk knockout has it. When you go down you cant hear for a few seconds

He actually gives survivors a total of eight additional health states since the initial infection doesn't injure them. Since there are 4 vaccines per game it forces him to reapply the infection on potentially each survivor. See the problem here?
No, its not that big of a deal because its not infinite. I play alot of nemesis and not once has something happened where i was in a tough situation because the survivors could vaccinate. And even if it did the tentacle cooldown is so small that it doesnt matter

Compared to Pyramid Head he's very weak.
Not really, sure i agree that pyramid head is better but if you are good at hitting tentacle strikes, you will do really well. Not to mention it does everything and has almost zero cooldown, making it very powerful in chase. And the whole third health state thing only happens four times total, and when you think about it its not even that bad because you know you will get them later even if you leave them. His only real downside is the zombies, and a few addons i guess. And also everyone who uses him tunnels for like no reason at all lul

@Marigoria said:
Just because something is used a lot doesn't mean it's OP and needs a nerf.
I see BBQ and ruin on 99% of my matches and I dont think they need to be nerfed.
Pinky Finger was an issue, but I do agree that clown needs another rework, because the one they gave him a while ago didn't really improve anything at all. He still lacks map pressure and is still one of the weakest killers in the game.
But dead hard DOES need changes. Its basically a third health state when used properly and in my opinion anyway, if you cant fix it, remove it.
-
All we can do is hope. And though the patch notes sucked the ptb itself is pretty good with the new pinhead lines and nurse being fixed. Plus the haddonfield rework is exciting

There’s a huge difference here! Slinger was a badly designed killer his nerfs were justified. COH can atleast be disabled. Yes it’s still very strong and it should be nerfed but you can’t compare a perk to a killer that was op as ######### in chase
The fact that when you aim it zooms in is the dumbest crap ever. And this is just a personal take but him walking backwards to pull you in faster where you cant actually pull out is so annoying since you cant do anything about it but that wasnt changed at all

But the chainsaw attack would end when he got too close to the hook. Like when it runs out of charges.
4 meters is still being in the basement. You still easily can face camp with a limit and just rev, walk up as they are unhooking and it would be the same. I dont really thing there is a decent way to stop bubba from camping but i dont think it should just be removed because it's actually kinda smart if you do it right and get some kills out of it. Maybe if bubba is revving near the hook the survivor being unhooked has a grace period where they cant be hit and can run away so that instead of needing bt you can just trade-off hooks.

How do you know how complicated she is? do you work on the team or are you just assuming that, based on BHVR's ineptitude, it's complicated? the dev team that can't even get audio occlusion to work when it works out of the box on the engine they use
It was stated on the patch notes i believe but my memory might be faulty, however its not difficult to understand that nurse has old complex code. And i may not be an expert on the matter but ive dabbled in game development before and its no simple task to make such a character. And it only makes it worse that the devs are a little braindead when it comes to actually fixing things sometimes.

Let me get this straight. The bug that was beneficial to her, was fixed immediately, despite the complex code. The bugs that hinder her won't be fixed because the complex code. Make it make sense
Thats not what i said at all. The bug that let you see up was in the game for more than a year. And they never fixed it until recently because her code is so complex but they finally figured it out. This means that bhvr is actively trying to fix stuff but it takes time so that they don't break 50 things after fixing 1 thing. And again it shouldnt be on the top if their list to fix stuff because nurse is literally the best killer in the game, bug or not. Just be patient

Been strong is not an excuse to not fix it.
All im saying is that it should be fixed, but its not the most important thing to them right now. And fixing it will probably force them to rewrite half of her code, she is very complex.
