Plague is the best without a doubt. Very versatile power and once she gets her corrupt she becomes unstoppable. She not only has the best power but also is a 115% killer.

    1° Plague

    2° Deathslinger

    3° Huntress

    4° Trickster

Plague isnt the best because she is Very inconsistent with her play style. Huntress has the best power in terms of effectiveness since it has no range limit. Deathslinger suffers from having low map pressure with a decent chase power when used right and trickster is better but still pretty bad.

  • I think they are visually stunning, but are too survivor sided when it comes to loops

  • Who said it was a god loop? The survivors can only ise it once before they will probably take a hit. Plus people are still trying to jump onto it from the front and dying. Its much better now

    Candyman.

Prove me wrong without referencing the Resident Evil announcement. :)

Candyman does not make sense to be a killer imo.

  • Considering how the new updated maps are using a whole new method than before i think they will do all of the maps up to midwich

  • I think new coldwind looks fantastic, but gameplay wise its way too survivor sided. Alot of the new loops you cant see over with safe pallets, and as killer gens fly even with ruin. I havent lost as survivor on coldwind yet even against really good killers. The jungle jims have been elongated at certain parts and i have no clue why, it makes them even closer to being killer shack. I do like the new harvester though and how there is only one way onto the hay instead of jumping onto it. I like all of the killer changes accept for twins. Twins did not need that much of a change and they went to hard on them. The breakable walls were thrown around for the most part, adding several infinite loops back (especially on cowshed). But since ive only played a few games on new coldwind i might just not be used to it. Your thoughts?

  • So you are giving its abusive powers back, no thanks

  • As a killer main who gets downs relatively quickly, having 3 people separated on gens even for a 15 to 20 second chase can garuntee a gen or two in the right situation. I think that gens should take 100 seconds instead of 80 personally

  • Most people become entitled as survivor because they hear a term and its basic meaning, but never actually know what it means. I once met a survivor who thought that tunneling was when the killer chases someone with ds active even if the killer chased and downed someone else first.

  • All accept the insta kill one and the freeze tag one, the rest i think are great options. I think just walking around solo to test stuff would be really cool too

The recharge time and duration on base kit, needs a buff.

Considering how oppresive this killer is, no it doesnt

  • Yea this isnt even a question lol

  • I mean that scenario seems highly unrealistic for a toxic killer. Unless your rank is lower than 12 i dont see that happening. Even then all you have to do is split up on gens and you get a bunch done before the person dies. That or you could hook bomb the killer, you could take aggro, etc. But a killer that camps at 5 gens seems to be really brand new at killer to me.

  • I think they would so most survs up to the more recent ones. Felix and elodie look brand new anyways

  • I would revert the hillbilly nerf minus the music and little roar he does and his addons. Rip billy mains. Oh and id also make it so that you can cancel the chainsaw mid-rev so you dont have to wait for it to go all the way back down

Ugh. Why can't I quit you dbd. Is it because I hate myself? Or is it something else.

Partial jokes aside I want to start up playing again (killer side). Though if I'm going to do this I'm going to sit down and just grind at one killer till their my best. Old flames of mine include wraith, legion, and deathslinger. I also play on console for a majority of my time unless I'm playing a ranged killer because I'm not that into masochism and I have every killer at 40 on console (except Charlotte and trickster because I have played maybe 10 matches since their releases.)

    Any suggestions?

Demogorgon, that is all you need my friend

  • I think that its stupid how he can shoot you from behind a pallet and still put you in mend. That and that his reeling speed should be 150 percent of what it is now, but the killer can only move left and right.

  • @Riif0 said:

It would be great to make something against the slug... like after 1.5-2 minutes if the killers don't pick you up the survivor can recover from dying stat...

    what do you think?

I think that the survivors should go from literally being a slug to crawling like a baby. To achieve this they have to get to the maximum recovery possible (95 percent). When in the crawl the survivors move 150 percent the dying state speed.

If you're referring to me, wow, way to make baseless accusations, and to not read.

"That doesn't mean he should be nerfed or anything though, I just personally really don't like him."

I literally said I don't think Wraith should be nerfed, just that I find him boring.

I didnt quote you ;) i quoted the person who chose the option that wraith is unbalanced. Only one person chose that option and ut wasn't you

None of them. This community needs to focus on crucial changes to the base game and stop allowing the developers to sell us perks as a solution to our issues.

The perks are some of the most important things in it though. A health chapter would really be nice

  • Other: most people dont get how ro play on midwich so they fail alot. All kt really needs is a few less god pallets, fewer hooks in the hallways(ive seen 3 in one hall before how is that ok) and maybe a bit brighter in the classrooms. Thats all though

  • It depends if tou have crossplay on or off, if its on good luck getting more than 10k points. If its a console nurse they probably arent great and you can have a decent chance at escaping

  • Gonna be real, id be gay with dwight

  • Honestly just 1 2 and 4. The other thing is to remove any other effect that changes audio in phase, so stridor wouldnt work anymore

Xbox one? Or Xbox series x?

Because it may an Xbox issue in general. Since I played on my PS4 pro and for me It never has lagged or stuttered. Anyway you should get a good computer if this is an issue for you. I used to be a console person myself. I always thought playing on a PC was trash. But as soon as I got a decent PC, I realized playing on PC is much better than console.

Look, ive played both xbox and ps4 pro and they are the exact same. Its really down to internet or if you ever play the game for more than 2 hours before restarting app

  • Can yall stop saying he looks too clean? The model was shown with limited shading so you could see it better, plus this is brand new they will probably change some of it by the time of its release in the RE chapter

  • I like how the person who said that hese annoying and unbalanced clearly isnt above rank 15

  • Bruh you're saying legion and clown are better than trapper. Who does that?

I don't think you understand how the emblem system works nor how multipliers work. You can get a maximum amount of BP that is 32k per game at base with both killer AND survivor. This is because each emblem is 8000k at most per category, therefore you can never exceed this limit and always have a cap.

64k is hence the max with BBQ alone, however survivors ALSO have a bloodpoint perk called We're Gunna Live Forever which is exactly the same making survivors cap 64k as well.

Killer gets more by default and on a good game you get 60k or more.

So this is just flat out false, because both sides equally get the same amount of BP and unless offerings are added then you only can get 4000 more.

    Survivor gets like 30k

Survivors also get the same amount because they have the same multipliers.

The grind is actually worse for survivors when it comes to perks anyway because there are more perks on rhe survivor side than the killer side

    This is false because of

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2141993#Comment_2141993

Survivor is harder to grind with

This is the only true thing you have said, and this is the only reason why you would get more BP consistently the average performance of survivors typically is not of that to get all category's and takes a good deal of luck in some.

IE: Teams that gen rush and escape are punished, ect.

It is really hard to get all emblems as survivor really because too many things can go wrong, and you need teammates who understand what is happening.

That being said, SURVIVIOR AND KILLER earn the same amount of BP, just survivors do not typically play in a way to where they always will get the max and neither do killer for that matter as killers are equally punished when gen rushers happen, ect.

You have no clue what i was talking about, i know how the emblems work fine. What i meant was that with the same bloodpoint cap, killer usually vets more out of it than survs, then the multiplier is added. So with were gonna live forever with 4 stacks and decent overall scores you will get 50k or more. With killer however its much easier to get the categories filled since tou arent one out of 4 people all trying to do the same thing. As killer you have nobody doing objectives that you could do yourself. But both sides can get 32k just the same, its just easier with killer

So, make her into a worse version of Trapper, the weakest killer in the game?

Trapper is c tier, i have no clue what your on about

  • @RepostRiposte said:

So you can't use the traps to hit people, you can't use them for information or mobility because survivors can see them from 20 miles away...

What would be the point of the traps? They would literally do nothing.

You dont understand the glow would only be seen from a short distance, not like the whole trap distance but just what the killer pits on the ground, like a short range aura that you have to look for to see

How is harder? I am using 2 perks and that helps me with BP. Prove Thyself and WGLF. Both of them gives me more bloodpoints. And i usually have +20K points.

And when you open all perks on one survivor, you dont need to do for others. But killers are not same. You need to open all perks on all killers. So killer is more harder.

Barbeque gives more bloodpoints alone, plus prove thyself only helps you get more bp in the objective category, leaving you with 8 thousand. Killer gets more by default and on a good game you get 60k or more. Survivor gets like 30k. The grind is actually worse for survivors when it comes to perks anyway because there are more perks on rhe survivor side than the killer side. Survivor is harder to grind with

This is anecdotal but I have NEVER seen anyone come anywhere even close to getting 60,000 BP in a match. 30,000 tops. And even that number is fairly uncommon. 25K seems to be about the average peak, 4K or otherwise.

Thats because the game only says what you earned in the trial, not what it multiplies to afterwards. I get 60k on demo all the time

If you tunnel and or camp from 5 gens you are not a good killer it is not worthy of a Gg ez message you cannot act good when you used cheap dirty tactics to win. I agree tunnelling and slugging and camping are all fair play when needed but from the get go no and if you message me saying Gg ez after I will keep you up all night with a long string of messages telling you that you are literally a trash baby killer who needs to use dirty tactics to win

Morale of the story if you're gonna play cheap and message afterwards you're gonna get ripped apart by me and everyone else who you just pissed off. But by all means use these tactics if needed.

There was thus bubba who got a 4k only because he had noed. Messaged me saying gg ez and then i reminded him that i ran him for 4 gens and just because he has a perk because he was bad doesnt make him good when it works

A very good change to totems would be like

5 or more safeboxes should appear around the map it may contain a totem and to open it survivors should get difficult skill checks or it will take a little bit more time to open it and if a survivor can open it, he could break the totem! So this will bring more objectives for survivors and totems will not be gone in the first 30 seconds of the match.

i play survivor and killer 50/50 btw

That would just make totems longer than they already are, my change would be to fix the spawns for one thing, and have certain hex perks continue effects once there gone. Like you would keep the speed from devour or something

No? With barbeque on killer you get like 60 thousand each game. You still have to unlock all the perks for both sides, if you want ruin you kevel up hag to 40 then grind bloodwebs until you get it. You want borrowed time you level up bill to 35 and grind bloodwebs until you get it. Its the same exact thing on both sides

  • Honestly if it comes to people being rude just ignore them. Once you get better at killer it wont be as bad but until then just ignore. If the survs tbag at the exit just go stand in a corner, if they go to your chat just say ggs and if they harrass you ban them from chat. You dont have to play scummy to be fun either, being creative or just testing stuff out is some of the best stuff to do in the game

  • Does it say in a single trial?

But survivors can get so easly all perks. And that is fair?

How is one harder than the other? You get more bp as killer anyways its honestly harder to get the perks as survivor if you only play survivor

I understand that the disconnect penalty system was put their for a reason and it does gradually get higher and higher after disconnecting multiple times. However I do think a 24 to 48 hour penalty is too much tbh. I mean what if someone has a bad internet connection and didn't mean to disconnect when playing Dead by Daylight game he might have to wait 24 to 48 hours every time. In my opinion I believe an Hour penalty should be more then enough to encourage players to not disconnect during a match. But what do you guys think? Do you think the system is fine as it is, should it be removed or should they decrease the max time to a hour or so?

No, if someone disconected that many times(excluding a bad internet connection) then they deserve a 2 day ban. Just ######### on hook if you really want out

Nerfs like this to Survivors also buffs the S or A tier Killers. Would you be fine with the nerfs to Blight, Nurse, Hag, Spirit, and Freddy (maybe more like Oni) that would have to go through as well?

Like I get playing some Killers the gens are heard to keep under control, but there is no wide spread nerf to Survivors that won't sky rocket certain Killers who already slaughter teams into unstoppable.

Yes, I think that changing gens would be a big overhaul and the rest of the game would adapt with it
