DS is deactivated when attempting to unhook another survivor. While performing the following actions, the active timer depletes twice as fast: - Cleansing totems - Healing yourself or others - Repairing generators - Hiding in a locker - Searching a chest - Opening an exit gate This keeps the unhook deactivation but makes it so all other actions deplete the timer twice as fast. I'm loving Deception. It's a lot of fun and can be pretty helpful at extending chases at times. Right now I'm running Deception, Quick and Quiet, Dance With Me and Lithe. You trigger Deception at a locker, get to a window with no scratch marks, vault the window silently and get a speed boost without scratch marks thanks to QnQ, Lithe and DWM. It's a lot of fun. I had to escape with Adam. The Wraith found me and downed me less than 2 minutes into the match. He picked me up, walked around the corner and just 3 steps from the hook a wild Nea appears and blinds him. Stunned, he drops me and immediately DCs. Thank you Nea. I'm not saying these perks are OP or anything, but I don't think it's a good idea to be making perks like Hoarder. Searching chests is one of the, what, two things you can do besides gens? We should not be discouraging survivors from doing things other than gens. Undying, Hoarder, making healing take longer, the eventual buff to Iron Maiden... I was the obsession when Freddy used the add on to make it so the obsession can't wake up. That means I could not get any tokens. Is this perk really strong enough to warrant something completely nullifying it? Even the stealthiest of stealth killers allow you to get tokens, albeit much less readily. Almost every single time I watch the last survivor in the game and the killer does this, they either A) pull them off the gate, B) down them right before it opens or C) down them right after it opens. The killer then hooks or moris the survivor. Sometimes they go so far as to let them crawl until just before they can escape before hooking or killing them. Distortion. Not a great perk because it only has 3 uses max but it's enabled me to very easily find and cleanse totems, hex and dull. Distortion randomly goes off when you know it's not BBQ? Stop and look for the totem and cleanse aura reveal free! I'm playing as Feng and don't have much unlocked for her so I picked Distortion. So many challenges are significantly easier when you have a friend (or 2 or 3) to coordinate with. This challenge to complete 2 generators in a single trial in her killer's terror radius is really frustrating as a solo player. Occasionally when I go to use Pyramid Head's ranged attack after planting his knife in the ground completely, I will just do a normal swing instead, and end up just hitting the pallet. That map desperately needs a drop for Balanced Landing and a unique landmark of its own. It's by far the most boring map game play wise and aesthetically. Aura blocking and Head On and Inner Strength timers do not begin until you have fully completed the locker entering animation. Yet immediately upon interacting with the locker you become blinded. Why? Lockers are tools for survivors so it doesn't make sense that the negative effects kick in immediately but the benefits don't. First match is a face camping Leatherface with Insidious and NOED. Not that NOED matters because one guy immediately gets stuck in the hill glitch, one guy immediately downed, and the other dude KNOWS LF is face camping but he doesn't work on gens.
