The mobile has some kind of bonus points event every single weekend there's no reason why DBD can't do the same. Or have their daily log in calendar! I don't think 1.5x BP every Sat and Sunday would break the economy..

Lol OK. It's now almost halfway through September and 300k disappears in less than 2 minutes. There's literally no actual reason to not have more ways to get BP. They've been talking about rank and better prestige rewards for years.
The rumor is its only 250k bp a month for rank rewards (at rank 1 according to mined game files). BP is meant to be a grind if it wasn't they wouldn't have given the excuse they did in the Q&A about the cap.
Not everyone was grinding 24/7 during a short two week period, most of the current playerbase probably didn't own the game and/or play at all.
The grind needs to lessen proportionally to its increase in scale. The sheer amount of perks in the game, with their three tiers on top of that, with the addon reliance of almost every killer, means an INSANE level of grind, which gets bigger with every single chapter. On the survivor side you can at least just get everyone to 40 for their unlockables and pick one main survivor to grind out all perks with, but on the killer side you can go for hundreds of webs without getting "that one perk you need for x viable build, let alone getting it to tier 3."
oh, and you have to do that for every single killer you want to play.
It won't happen the developers think it would hurt the economy meanwhile people just save stuff up anyways i don't think it would matter that much.
