I was just struggling on the hook and a lag spike caused me to fail. This killed me and ultimately doomed my teammates as well. There is ABSOLUTELY NO REASON this should even be possible! How many years into the development of this game and this stupid feature that NOBODY WANTS is still in the game to keep us "engaged?"

    Plus it puts people with injuries or conditions at a disadvantage.

    There's no reason for it to exist.

    To be fair. A lag spike will screw you pretty much any time.

    Don't worry, it will only take 2 more years for the devs to replace this awful mechanic with the skill checks from Pyramid Head's cages.

    The game needs accessibility options. I have a friend who has arthritis and her hands tighten up, it's really difficult for her to struggle. Most of the time struggle means she's dead.

    I had to buy a new keyboard cause my space bar broke, you may say that i shouldnt have pressed it too hard but when i do light taps sometimes it doesn't register and i die. So stupid

    On PC just rebind it to mousewheel down, even lag spikes tend to not be enough to overpower the sheer amount of spam you can get by rolling your mousewheel.

    But yeah, it's a stupid mechanic that should've been changed years ago.
