  • For stealth players. Like it was in the trailer, and just something about perk balance : If a perk can allow you to make a strong loop into an infinite it isn't balanced. At all. And to be Frank maps shouldn't be made with one perk in mind. Would you rather have one perk changed so more time can be spent of buffing the weaker perks or rework every map costing the company so much money that'll ta

  • It's ridiculous. First they make it do you can remove the endurance by yourself al la deep wound, then it's no longer tied to being in Chase. Now all you have to do to avoid it....is run. Run. But you know what. Why not have it only go down during a chase? That way it's actually lethal. And you know. Can't be "exploited" by moonwalking or oblivious. O wait. That isn't any fun to just run in a s

  • So what if I just facecamp one survivor and then down another after 4 gens have popped and do the exact same thing? I mean. It'd be mind numbingly boring and I doubt I'd ever do it, letting them all escape and nodding on console to say "gg. I had fun" is better but this is a "What if" scenario. Let's take nurse for example, her pick rate has plummeted after the rework and many concider her

  • What was the point of releasing the statistics just to not to draw any conclusions from them? Isn't the point of data to back up any theories or points you wanna prove? Furthermore wouldn't a mish mash of platforms in the data actually be useful as the community isn't just pc. Each platform gets the same balance patches so.... Let's just ignore how diffrent the experience is on console and dis

  • I tried making it in the style of a spotlight. Feadback needed Chapter xx : the devil's in the details The court of law is like a casino in some cases, do you bet on black and pray that you get a light sentence or do you risk it all and bet on the numbers? There's a common saying in casino's , the house always wins… Its not too diffrent in the eye of a twisted law. Our new killer

  • I was thinking about the title and these perks came to mind, if there's any more please state them AND a reason. Don't be that guy or gal who just does : "Beast of prey - I don't like it" Do "Beast of prey - rewards making your chases too long" It doesn't have to be a huge reward, just any that you can think of Noed - I mean. It is counterable by doing the totems , but if you power thro

  • Seeing as everyone's so confident to list how freddy "needs" nerfing or ghostface, or plauge, or event the goddam wraith (all threads I've seen) lets go over some "fair" survivor nerfs Prove thyself : the repair speed thinge has now been decreased by 50%)(10% - > 5%) to promote healthy gameplay *if this ever got concidered then I'm screwed. I love this perk* Dead hard : exhaustion increase

  • Because maybe perhaps there are just a minor margin more of survivor players that get into matches more frequently than killers to? Additionally if a killer is popular their kill rate is going to be artificially inflated due to the vast amount of people playing said killer, this could be why the kill ratio for demigordon is so low despite on release being said to be the most balanced killer in

  • This stat release was nice and was interesting to look at but next time could we have statistics on perks? More specificly : most used perks On adverage the perk that gets activated the most (like : desicive stunning the killer, adrenaline healing a state, spirit fury destroying a pallet, bbq revealing an aura .. This is probably not a possible stat to measure th

  • So i was just in this match playing the legendary pizza dwight. A couple of nodding and spinning later I convince the trapper to farm with me and the last remaining meg because I wanted to see how far I could go, somehow I got him to hook the meg one last time and it was hatch time, he's just carrying me around getting his brutality bp from pallets and gens when suddenly he walks into a rock, and

  • So the reliability of ruin is questionable as its hex totem spawn is iffy Pgtw kinda relies on survivors getting hooked before a high progress gen gets done for manium effect The others aren't as reliable/have better purposes/are overlooked (rip thrilling tremors you good perk). Corrupt intervention may block 3 gens for 2 mins but it doesn't stop them being done unless you know how to play a

  • Incentivising rank rewards/bloodpoint bonus' for consicent/good sportsman's ship based on the developers view on what makes for good sportsman's ship Or Editing the archives so that there isn't as many master trials. • If a certain perk or killer is strong they'll get used a hell of alot more, so let's take a nice and balanced hag. Hag is a fun killer to play who's decently strong after her buffs. But let's say Billy spirit nurse and all the other top tiers got nerfed into the ground (the nightmare on que times) hag would then be overperforming as a majority of killers would be playing her. Not because of her s

  • May I inquire into the thought behind its design? Because on paper it looks terrible as reducing a terror radius in a chase isn't that beneficial yet on further looking changing the obsession in certain scenarios could be strong. But along came bop after its buff and nemesis to do those two tasks but better.

  • This is just a little rant but say for example you see tru3 explain why he thinks that toolboxes are overpowered, remember that he's also a human being too with opinions, ardetha : the only exception as his word is law as decreed by the jesus himself zimbabe bubba. • So remeber when thanatophobia was buffed on the ptb and that never went though because of how it affected all four survivors/legion related issues? I mean that's fair reasoning to some degree.... So why aren't survivor perks balanced around more than one survivor running said perk? Sure perks like prove thyself actually have been (only one prove thyself affect at a time) but what about adrena

  • The third member of the yamoka family to use that katana? I know it'd probably be stale and some people wouldn't want it to happen but I'm genuinely exited for the years to come Still waiting on the killer that has links to the pustules from 2018

  • We had a killer that could give the survivors a hug and make them feel better? That'd be fun to play against, your having a bad day, your Dwight forgot to put on the pizza delivery skin and the nea is throwing down every pallet and then you get hugged by thr killer, suddenly you feel so happy your head explodes into hundres of bone shrapnels causing the Meg in the locker to throw up out of disgus

  • Ignoring its offects to make legion actually threatening again (not quite old legion but still with elements of mindlessness) why was bop given undetectable? Ik the perk needed a buff but wasnt altering the terror radius during chase more furtive chases job? Maybe it's another Michael situation where all instances of removing the red stain are classed under undetectable to add clarity as to wha

  • Because there's a fairly good chance that they'll get either a rework or buffs in the future to make them fun to play, think of it as a long term investment, and then pat yourself on the back for joining the cult of legionaires. And also you get Jeff, the most op broken survivor in the game. Because your can't kill jesus, that's illegal

  • Ignoring how it'd make legion so wheat lethal/make people play against them like how they counter spirit fury I'm looking forward to its release. I sooooo badly wanna try it out with said spirit fury and enduring (ironically on legion) just because the amount of times I get stunned just because I was barely in range of the hitbox (aka around half a meter to a metre) of a pallet and got stunned.

  • Remeber how people were dissatisfied with the Halloween event? What if bhvr did something like that but it was more frequent and only lasted a week, like every other week. What if that happened? Every off week an add on was turned on to allow people to get more BP from doing generators and getting hooks? Ik as a Halloween event it sucked but maybe that format would be better suited to a rando

  • Hmmm yes. Applying blindness is such a high reward with an equal risk when it spawns out in the open or next to a generator. The "risk" factor of losing a hex totem is too rng dependant, while yes perks like ruin and devour hope fit the bill, in cases (especially for devor hope) sometimes the perk gets no use at all because a survivor spawned next to it. Just because a perk can heavily impact t

  • OK so the term counterplay is being thrown about alot and I just wanna give my two units of currenency on what I think that has "no counterplay" Keys : even if I run Franklin's a survivor can just pick up the key again, it doesn't matter how many charges it has they can still open the hatch Safe pallets : I'm mainly thinking of that one pallet on lerrys next to its library but if a killer h

  • Tbh when it comes to balancing killers I kinda think that bhvr should listen more to killer mains as well they play the role more and hence have more knowledge about that specific killer, not game mechanics just killer mechanics. When it comes to survivor the devs should listen more to survivor sided players as they play the role more. "But what if you play both sides equally" then evaluate ho

  • Sick and tried of putting up with killer bs? Sad that you never get any points as a survivor? Well, here's a playstyle that takes Russian roulette all the way up to seventy two First : get into a 4 man survive with frands Second : pick pizza dwight and run the following perks : urban evasion, botany knowledge, prove thyself and P E B B L E Third : put on an offering that'll guarantee you all s

  • Is heavily underrated imo, not only can it block generators from being worked on for 20 seconds after a chase is finished (assuming you don't slug) but it can also give you information on which gen that needs a pgtw'ing . And if you don't get any information because nobody is working on gens you get 20 seconds to set up traps, recharge your power, to look for survivors. Although it is on a leng

  • Ok
So now that you've clicked on this thread I can begin, Don't you think it's odd that the killer has to usually play near perfectly if they want to do well? The survivors they can kinda goof around and stuff (which isn't inheritly bad but just keep reading) Dont you think that the expected perfromaxe of each role should be reversed? That the survivors have to put in the effort as the killer tr

  • Ok so know how some people are saying that this game isn't scary anymore? What if we had a killer who's arms were broken and twisted to look like a straight jacket? If a killer is terrifying to look it it's well designed, if it gives you nightmares it's doing its job

  • This discussion is gonna be mainly talking about perks as 1) the shrine of secrets can give perks if you don't wanna buy the killer and 2) tbh a killer is all about having fun with their power To explain the title you know how the killer "meta" perks consist of some dlc perks like ruin or pop, well how do you see the best way to get these perks? Do you just fork over money to get the kille

  • Which of the original killers for dbd do you think would have the "best movie" At the current moment I can see people saying a movie about Evan macmillan would be neat because *archives lore spoilers*, but personally I'd wanna see a movie about the hillbilly and what that room did in his mind, did he imagine he was someplace else? How could he, he's never been anywhere but that room and probabl

  • But what if dcing was punished by buffing the killer with the highest dc rates? It'd stop people from using dc as a "protesting" tool But what should the buffs be? Well they can't make the killer broken as heck but it can't be so minor it's laughable Let's take spirit for example, How'd you buff her to fit with the criteria? Shorten the cooldown. That's it But then what about using the h

  • So anti heal perks are kinda coming more into the meta as they help slow down the game as staying injured is risky as all hell, and although saying "just run x perk" is a bad argument in this case it isn't as its running perks to counter perks So here's how I think anti heal can be countered 1) run healing perks : botany knowledge is nice due to how it nullifies the mangled of sloppy butcher

  • Either it be your own concept or a strange idea for a buff post em down below My idea was adding claptrap from borderlands with his power literally just being "you can give survivors a high five but your incapable of causing any harm" Or perhaps as a buff to crouching around - while initiating a healing action while crouching (if that's a thing) you gain a 5% healing speed increase for 2 secon

Potential 200% bloodpoint increase post trial but you give up 2 perk slots to do it (bbq has over 6 counters, please either learn these counters or stop complaining please, we really do mainly run it for the BP)
