Why was bop given undetectable in the first place?

Ignoring its offects to make legion actually threatening again (not quite old legion but still with elements of mindlessness) why was bop given undetectable? Ik the perk needed a buff but wasnt altering the terror radius during chase more furtive chases job?

Maybe it's another Michael situation where all instances of removing the red stain are classed under undetectable to add clarity as to what the effect does, it'd explain why legions power had its synergy with on hit perks removed as its a power based attack, bringing it in line with shred ambush etc.

  • I guess so that it’s easier to program. And yeah, it’ll trick the Survivors into not knowing where you are, both in and out of chase, which is a plus.

Furtive Chase is more meant for swapping the obsession. The lesser Terror Radius in chase is good for certain builds and Killers only.

  • It’s so stupid, just like it’s old effect, it will most likely proc mid-chase, while you see the killer, making it useless, unless with legion.

Legion seems to be the only one to make the perk useful.

  • It's suppose to counter Object of Obsession when the survivor is Oblivious. They just completely forgot about Legion mechanics existing when they designed the perk.

The only other use Im seeing out of this would be to swap targets. Imagine being in a chase with no TR and seeing a survivor working on a gen completely unaware that theres a stealth Bubba closing in on him.

  • I don't believe its useless except on Legion. Removing your TR and red stain around some jungle gyms is quite strong. Depends on which map you get.
