ghost face by far; not only it's a Myers ripoff, without any justification in the movies, he has an old style of game design, made to scare baby survivors; he has a slow power, that was old even back in 2019 when they released him, hence nobody uses him as intended, i. e. wasting a lot of time crouched, stalking slowly and then suddenly getting an instadonwn, rather people just cheese his awful detect mechanic to stalk you in your face or just use his stealth as a chasing tool.
-
kinda complicated to explain how the sloppy survivor movements work; but basically by clicking behind you, you reset your position and spinning doing a 360 is easier, wider and better, than not doing it.
-
It did take some time, but off course I was right. They milked the DLC so now they can nerf undying.
-
I'm still trying to elaborate what kind of game advantage your reworked version would offer over the current moris.
-
no, saying that the balance should be at 2k/2 escapes it's just a fast thought of game balance: for how the killer role works, getting kills makes the game easier for you; hence, we should make clear WHEN it's balanced to kill 2 survivors, since killing 2 survivors at 3 gen, it's different than killing 2 survivor during EGC.
also, getting 2k/2 escapes it's different from ranks to ranks, it's just silly pretending that this golden rule is valid across the entire community.

Dude, the speed of dragging a survivor would obviously be faster...
so tenacity at the cost of wasting two survivors, good. Also, don't dude me if you didn't specify the actual effects, dragging a dead weight body isn't so easy you know...
-
that's the same of crawling from what you're describing.
-
actually no, it's 60 seconds god mode, prevents tunneling and can used offensively by survivors when there's no tunneling at all to steal free momentum to the killer.

Never said that anywhere in my post tho.....
yes actually, by using the term "gen-rushers" and even explaining your definition of gen rush, shows how even you don't actually know what the terms refers to.
-
gen rushing it's probably the biggest misconception in this community. What gen rushing means it's the chance of gens going so fast without being able to stop it, simply by doing the maths with the time; like still losing 2 gens with a short chase if survivors are optimal. People tho, tend to think that genrushing means blaming survivors who stay on gen, period, which it's not the meaning of the concept.
-
until emblems are reworked to actually match the killer ability it would be a good solution; just not so braindead like it was before, when you could adept with ebony mori and ultra rare add-ons...
-
at this point it's pretty clear that they do not play their own game, at least at the higher levels: on the PTB it took people like 2 games to understand that lockers hard counter victor and that there's no reason not to keep victor attached to you, removing the entire killer's power.
onto the live version: not only there are thousand of game breaking bugs, but the first thing that I thought about the new killer is how powerless victor is if a survivor camps the upper floor of Laurie's balcony: since if he jumps, he either surpass the balcony, hence dropping down, or gives time to the survivor to kick him.

And yet when we criticism they product we have the same response close the post or sent it in adyss. But tell me why they should not respect the customers they only reason they work right now is because of they customers. When you show them no respect or you don't care about ther feedback why they should stay ?
You may create a nice game but if you don't respect you customers they will leave and that's the this Devs need the customers not the other way.
sure, they do not respect us as customers, but we are intelligent human being and we should be polite, at least not attacking them; two wrongs don't make a right. The only reason the game hasn't failed yet, it's cause there's no competition and they can afford to be scummy and sloppy with these updates. Devs only care about money, they keep releasing skins, they have a bigger team on skin design than on bug fixing, they're investing way more money on this aspect of the game.
devs are milking the new player base, most of the old players have already left for many reasons.
-
it's probably for the people insulting the devs. I don't have any doubts that devs are so passionate about this game and are the nicest person on the planet, but that doesn't change the fact that they are complete trash at bug fixing, game designing and balancing the game whatsoever.
sure, devs do not respect the customers, but we should just complain about the devs, not the persona. Hate the sin not the sinner, right?
-
depends all if you keep the split between Charlotte and Victor: if the two players play at the same time, then it would be pretty hard to balance, at least for solos. If you keep the switch between the two, then it would be pretty much the same, it would be slightly better if you play with a "Victor main", but the issues with the killer would remain.
-
petitions won't do anything, like every petition. The only thing that can make devs actually work at fixing the game is a strong competitor, which atm the game doesn't seem to have.
-
you'll never solve permanently the DC issue, DC bans are just a way to mitigate the problem.
-
yeah, who cares about a good policy or just not laughing at the community with these updates; let's have skins. You're literally the perfect target for this game.
-
the toxicity issue doesn't real matter for game balance, just don't feel offended if someone mashes a button from oversea. Onto the first point: surely exit gates need some kind of regression, not too strong, just the bare minimum to force a survivor near the gate to prevent them regressing too much; also the whole rng that spawn the gates needs to be deleted, since there's a lot of difference in having both exit gates in the same side of Azarov's or having them at the opposite sides.
-
yeah, not only they are terrible at bug fixing, map design or game knowledge; they are also terrible at marketing the game, like what's the point of dragging people out from the game to watch streamers, lmao.
-
survivor meta perks are either chase extenders or second chances: ds, dead hard (or sprint burst) and unbreakable are the trifecta, the 4th could be iron will, bt or adrenaline.
killer meta perks are basically gen pressure: ruin + undying, pgtw or corrupt intervention (on some killers). People use also bbq or enduring +spirit fury to end chase faster.
-
I think it's just the average joke add-on that every killer has but enhanced for 2020 graphics standard. Basically like padded jaws but with a unique skins. So this basically are bottles that do not slow down.
-
there's absolutely no point in reaching rank 1, furthermore there's no point in having such a strict pip system (like you can 4k 200 matches at rank 1, but the moment you lose a single game, you get dropped at rank 2), especially in a game balanced around yellow ranks.
but trust me when I say that having rank rewards (unique stuff, not bps, like unique skins, since this community loves skins) would be even worse.
-
don't worry, dedicated servers will solve the issue; umh, well, hit-validation fix will solve the issue; umh, well, plan c?
-
it was possible once, and it was ######### hilarious how much broken you could get: we're talking about no recovery whatsoever with unrelenting (well, it worked also with old STBFL), no scratch marks with 4 lightweight, 4 agitation, 4 brutal strengths... you can probably search a video for it, since the funniest combo work with the oldest perks.
-
no, it would split the community, it would split the team into thinking the game with 2 different game modes and 2 different communities in mind; it would increase the problem with smurfs, so thanks no.
-
you can camp whenever you want, tho you have to understand when to do it, not because sometimes is fair, but because sometimes is worthy. also, honorable mention, when you hard camp, you have to at least gain an extra hook state for that camp, if you run away and at the last second survivors get the save, you just wasted 50ish seconds without gaining anything.
-
bloodlust is a band-aid to bad map design; surely bloodlust should be deleted when we will get a decent map design, sadly we are far from it, I think it's just stupid thinking about removing it, without before changing the asylum, or the preschool fence loop, or some Lery's setups.
-
sometimes is actually useful to distract the killer from a near completed gen, specially with if the killer has pop.
-
Myers, he's obviously an outdated killer, needs to much build-up and in the 2020 meta landscape has little to no strength; also it's just an m1 killer with temporary instadown, no chase nor more importantly map pressure.
-
it's amazing how this idea that was rumored around 2017 still has some people proposing it. Not only would be useless against SWFs, it would be unsuitable for nowadays meta.
-
you're totally missing why she is strong: she destroys the game canons, while every other killer has to respect. She can totally avoid looping and has enormous map pressure, at the cost of being very slow and high risk.
-
messing up with killers base speed is the last thing they should do; it's probably the dumbest (and most braindead) move dev could possibly pull out, considering already how dumb is even thinking about removing bloodlust it could even happen.
-
i made a huntress guide for an old contest, might as well check it out it's in my threads.

The devs were shady about consoles AND trashed the PS4 specifically? Could you you elaborate, please? I've not heard anything about this before.
they promised console optimization back in December 2018, never addressed again, just cause the game got a boom due to being free on PSPlus months before; every patch keeps guttering the old gen even more, new killers are never thought with console controls in mind (see oni or blight); think about it: consoles have always been trashed and never addressed (it took a hundreds replies thread, of course closed, to be addressed), what you think will happen to the old gen?
-
I'm sorry, but if you bought the ps5 and then you'll waste it just to play dbd again, that's, let's call it a gamer move. like, isn't the horrible and untruthful way devs handled the whole console debacle enough to stop playing dbd on console, especially after trashing the ps4?
-
it's not destroying politically correct just cause there's a baby in the game; Victor is clearly a demonic baby enhanced by entity. It's not like seeing billy sawing in half a crying and harmless toddler... the debate it's still alive, they won't put actual minors without compensating them with supernatural stuff.

You can't ban someone for wanting to make their game a little brighter so they can see what they're actually playing lmao.
this is not a little brighter, this clearly enhances your gameplay.
-
one of the many exploit BVHR never firmly disapproved, hence it is considered legal for whatever reason...
-
hmh, never give incentives to play killer, make the killer role way harder than the survivor role, after 4 tomes, still adding more survivor challenges than killer challenges: profit your 10 minutes queue.
-
I mean, the game got pretty far from the original old slasher inspiration, where literally every job had its killer variant; I don't think it would fit nowadays, but I wouldn't be upset that's for sure.
-
it's made so that people stop complaining together and start theorizing together, nice strategy!
-
tinkerer is decent at best, it becomes nasty only on some killers only if paired with a good gen regression build.
-
LMAO, all these DbD experts got the thread wrong. Technically yes, undying alone is a bad perk. Just because it can be combo-ed with ruin to give strong map pressure, it doesn't mean it's a good perk alone.
-
I think that adding cross play without any kind of compensation is already an answer...
-
spaghetti code strikes back. Somehow, without changing anything related to skins, every player got exclusive skins in the inventory.
-
no, it would split the community and people could just go and grief against new players.
-
it's literally pointless. You can't report for lagswitching because someone might just have really bad internet (even when it's clearly on demand); reporting someone for harassment and hate speech takes way longer and results only in a 1 day ban; the game is full of cheaters, so the EAC is worthless. Devs take action only against legacy cheater, because they cheat pixels, seems right considering their priorities...
-
I like how for you the major problem is regarding skins, then you throw out a one-liner about real game balance. Gotta love it.
