"DS becomes deactivated once the survivor is fully healed or hiding in a locker. No more abuse of DS."

Or touches a gen and we have a deal.

    yea good adition.

  • How to change DS:

    • DS only lasts for 20-30 seconds. No more "I was not tunneling" excuses.
    • Once the unhooked Survivor gets downed by the Killer within the 30 seconds, DS becomes active and stays active until the killer picks up the survivor. No more slugging and playing around DS.
    • When picked up, the Survivor faces a difficult skillcheck
    • DS becomes deactivated once the survivor is fully healed or hiding in a locker or doing any actions like repairing Generators, unhooking or healing someone else. No more abuse of DS.

Simple and effective changes, for both sides very fair.

    Survivors have instas/keys etc.

Also Ebonys are great for SWF plums.

So because survivor have something op, a Mori is not op?

Beside that, in my opinion Ebeony Moris are way more overpowered then instaheals/toolboxes etc.

  • I like the sound as it is. Whatever i have heared so far, nothing is better then what we already have.

  • A view simple change that will make doctor a viable killer

    • +20% Range on his Shock Therapy
    • +20% faster charge on his Shock Therapy
    • Doctor can unleash his Shock Therapy. This means, if he unleashes his power at lets say 50% charge time, the Shock Therapy has a range of 50%.

Thats it, doctor should be way better in chases now.

A survivor who plays killer from time to time will notice when the killer gets cucked. Only true survivor-mains would not recognise this. I myself notice it when the killer is swinging in my direction and then hits some random bush or rock out of the blue.

Thats true, and it happens to me also, but getting screwed by autoaim one or two times does not really effect the game as much as 2 people crashing.

  • @ABannedCat said:

Me getting cucked by autoaim, (with dedicated servers) me getting cucked by latency, me getting cucked by hitboxes, and so on and so forth.

No offense but that all reads like a big excuse. Latency and Hitboxes are actually more a problem for survivor and not for the killer... and autoaim? How should a survivor know that you have trouble with that?

Anyway, thanks for your honest answer.

  • Playing every Killer beside Spirit, Nurse and Huntress right now.

Survivors never give me a free pass when I am having a bad game caused by things out of my control.

What things that are out of your control and survivor might notice could that possible be?

I kinda think that new emotes would just be used for taunting or wouldn't be used in practise at all. But if they are used for what they were made for, everythings fine, but I don't think so :/

Yes + absolutly low priority overall

  • I picked 4, but with good addons she is a 5.

  • @ABannedCat said:

I don't see why I should. If you want to escape, go work for it.

Idk, what if 1 or more people crash during the game?

  • @Aztreonam78 said:

ITS TRULY IMPOSSIBLE TO PLAY KILLER NORMALLY.

INFINITE DELAYS, LAGS, HUGE AMOUNT QUESTIONABLE MISSES/HITS.

For Killer? Try Survivor, this is even worse.

  • @oh_0k said:

You know being hit through windows isn't a bug right?

Got also hit multible times now after beeing far away from a window (2-3 steps). In the past this was a problem, now it is a complete mess. It is definitly not about the ping tho, i always have 30-60 right now.

  • Maybe i am lucky, but when i play Killer, 4 out of 5 games are vs potatos. Red Rank & EU Region.

  • None of those ideas.

    Here is mine:

    • When you intoxicate a survivor, you get a stack of Bloodlust for 5 Seconds
    • If you land a direct hit, the survivor is intoxicated for 100% longer.
    • Remove clowns vaulting noise
  • Good points, but one. The Music and the sound overall is fantastic! Never ever change that.

  • Completly ignore the Ranking System, it is not working or anything. Imagine you run the Killer for 5 Gens and then die at the end? You will probably get blackpip at best, while you deserve double.

As i said, it is meaningless, just play for fun, just dont care about your rank.

  • That depends. I would not use any addons for Nurse, Billy or Spirit, but definitly for Pig or Trapper (for both +1 Trap for example)

Those last words are the pure words of a survivor main who knows nothing about balance. A killer can easily get bullied and have their mori rendered useless, maybe only getting 1 person at best. Nothing can render keys useless in the very end.

I am not maining anything and im playing both roles kinda 50/50, solo and comp, Rank 1.

Also amazing logic with your Key example, totally not biased.

If you play against a strong killer who is using a red mori, no key is gonna safe you. It is really not that hard to down a Survivor and then tunnel him.

  • @MemberBerry said:

Keys, Instaheals, DS, Adrenaline, BNP and toolboxes have no downsides. I rest my case.

DS and Adrenaline are Perks. Its not that Killer dont have amazing perks too.

Keys, Instaheals etc are pretty good and kinda OP, but when we talk about OP stuff, lets begin with Red Moris first.

  • Was a back and forth between Iri Stone / Bag or Tar Bottle / Honing Stone

  • Where is The Pig? Since she is not on the list, i had to go for Clown. People claim he is the absolute worst killer in DBD, but this spot belongs to either Leatherface, Legion or Wraith

  • Hands down The Spirit.

  • @FireHazard said:

If you see him across the map when he's invisible, than you either play DBD with a telescope or you're part eagle...

Even if he's not across the map, it's still hard to see him if you're not paying attention. So I don't see why this would really benefit him in any way... The Shimmer effect will be seen if its at a set distant outside of the invisibility, so it wouldn't really matter.

We'll say, outside of 32 Meters you can't see the shimmer of his invisibility... 32 meters is still a pretty decent sized radius, so it wouldn't really matter if you're actively looking for the shimmer anyways.

Not wanna brag or anything, but i see Wraiths across half of the map. Playing with max brightness.

I like this idea, and Wraith could need some buff.

And it might also be full moon, while it is Friday the 13ths and Christmas at the same day...

Such niche situations do not really justify the waste of so much time tbh.

No, that might not be. I had many scenarios where this happend. Kinda unfair, that you dont get a chance to your 3 attempts at least. But hey... its a minor thing, that does not work correctly.. soo...

  • @Alice_pbg said:

You know the killer would just wait there right?

There's 0 reason to leave if you're the last guy alive

He might have Deliverance and DS and the Exitgate is near?

  • Claudette, because of her small size and her stealthy look.

    Ash because Ash.

Ace because he is very quiet.

  • Genrush vs extrem chase potential. So much fun.

  • Here is my input

    • Spirit and Billy are significantly better then Freddy or Hag. They should not be on the same Tier tbh
    • Switch Demogorgon with Huntress
    • Switch Clown with Bubba.
    • Would put Trapper in C Tier.

  • Hello

Easy answer. Watch the Video they made. Seeing this all from their perspective is the best you can get to learn from your mistakes.

  • None of these changes tbh. +1 Trap to start with and he is fine.

  • The Trapper for sure. Once he set up his traps, he becomes really powerful. Unfortunatly, the game is almost over once he has set all his traps :P

I'm seeing a severe lack of "We're Gonna Live Forever"

    For shame!

Had just 10 slots available :(

  • Would love to see some of those, especially Pyramid Head and Slenderman.

  • None, but if i have to pick one, it has to be Hawkins

  • Survivor: I run to the next gen without hasitation. I mainly hope the killer is chasing me, i wanna kite him around.

Killer: Beeing the friendliest killer around. No tunneling, no camping, always leaving hook even if BBQ tells me otherwise. Almost no Nurse

  • Why would people DC to Nurse? I would not dc, even if its a Megablink but from my pov this is self-explaining..

    1. Many dont want to play against her, and a DC is saving them time for a real round.
    2. Some also just make a statement with that and simply tell you "im not playing against your BS unfair OP Killer" by their DC.
    3. Some want to piss you off and want you to derank. Manly because of Reason 1 and 2.

I stopped playing the Nurse pretty much, mainly because i dont want people to DC. They should have fun game too, and i dont see them having a fun game, when i completly reck them with Nurse.

  • Almost impossible to vote here, but i picked Demogorgon for now.

Myers is great, Pig is great, Demo is great, Leatherface is cool and i see why people love Ghostface and Freddy.

  • I can only hope that there wont be Pennywise. This is the first Killer i really dont wanna see in Dead by Daylight, and there is no other i can possible imagine beeing worse (and i know Chucky and Leprechaun exists).

I love Stephen Kings work and i certainly love IT, one of my favourite books of all time, but imagining a Movie Version of Pennywise in this game gives me the chills... not in a positive way. He basicly has no real interesting power that might fit in this game, unless they go a totally different path, which would completly change the Character. Then we have a Clown again, with some random power.

Even worse would be a Book Version of Pennywise. There is absolutly no way, this could be done for this game and would meet the requirements.

But still... i try to give you an answer here: His power will be "Frighting". He can pop out everywhere he pleases with a Jumpscare and then he.... ah forget that, its all aweful.

This sounds like you were hyper-efficient with your BP, because I have about 800-ish hours of play with the milestones that I described earlier in this thread. I would speculate that your experience is not the norm.

I am also not saying that I expect something for free; what I'm saying is that the grind is PARTICULARLY oppressive for a video game. I am assuming, like myself, that every single person here:

    * Is a functional adult with a job, relationships, and limited free time.

    * Has other games they enjoy playing, and/or other hobbies that compete for their free time.

    * Values activities that respect and reward their input of time and effort, due to the first two points.

This game -- all games -- should be designed with those points in mind. DBD is designed in such a way that you can dedicate an entire year to it and not even be able to have every perk on multiple killers. That is really predatory design.

I dont think i was super effective with my Bloodpoints, i just played the game and used BBQ and WGLF and most of the time Bloodpoint offerings, thats it. Nothing special you could not achieve.

This has nothing to do with having a family, a girlfried or playing other videogames, i got and do all of this and it was no big deal getting all the perks and stuff.

Again, i think grinding is an important part of the game, important enough that i think that if it would not excist, the game would not be the same for many here. I am also positiv, that people, who dont put effort into DBD should not be rewarded with everything. And last but not least, even with little effort, you get it insanly quick. Leveling a Survivor to 40 to get his 3 perks takes about 20-25 games. 4 Survivor with the 4 perks you run 100 games. And if you are lucky, even less if the shrine got something for you.

Also: We are talking about Perks and Items. You dont need those to win games in DBD and for sore not to have fun.

  • @Kilmeran said:

@xEa The grind here doesn't keep me playing. As a matter of fact, the grind is precisely why DbD has never been more than a side-attraction for me. It's also why my friends and family will not touch it. Not everyone requires a grind like DbD has in order to feel engaged to a game.

Since May 2016 we have played Overwatch. Overwatch has zero grind. There are no builds, and therefore nothing to unlock. Yet, we have played it consistently for over three years because the engaging factor for us is learning as many Heroes as possible, getting good with those heroes, climbing in MMR (quick play) and SR (competitive) with those heroes.

We also play Paladins, which does have individual builds for each Champion that you can do. Again, zero grind since every card used in a build is unlocked from the moment you own the champion. So what keeps us engaged? Learning new champions, experimenting with builds (both serious and meme) and seeing how they play in a match. We've been playing Paladins for well over a year with zero grind, and have been engaged because we can mess around with builds from Minute-One.

No grind, yet complete engagement, including for three-plus years in Overwatch. Not everyone needs your preferred style of grindy play to be engaged in a PvP game, nor enjoys it.

I dont prefere to grind, in fact i play and played many games with 0 Grind. But it is a part of this game and I am talking about grind itself as an element of gaming.

May i give you an example:

I was playing a Shooter game, wich has grinding in it. People were moaning about how boring this Grinding is, and that they want all the stuff by either buying them or getting them more frequently. Eventually they got it the second way. The game, that lived for 2,5 years died within a month or two. "There was nothing to do anymore".

In DBD Grinding is a side element. It is there and it keeps most players motivated, even they dont realise that. A part of your inner self is very likely also on that train. We talk about collects rubbed, that every human, that included you, has to a certain degree.

Obviously, the game itself is more important, but as said, without the grind, most people would miss something. I bet my non existing Yacht, you would too.

  • All are good.

    Demo is the best.

The Sound overall in DBD is fanstatic.

    Hello,

I only play with two characters, survivor as meg and as killer Ghost Face, I was thinking about getting a 3rd after final prestige meg and level up GF, so I was thinking about the nurse.

How good is the nurse at anti-looping?

    Farming?

Frustration? (I like speed up kills or hits, basically action, I know the nurse is very slow and the col-down its quite long)

How good is the nurse with anti-looping? If you could ask the nurse, she would say "What is looping?". The Nurse is by far the best Killer in the game, Windows and pallets are more a deathtrap for survivors then actually helping them. She cant get looped or anything.

Farming with her is okay. The problem is, that once you know how to play nurse, you destroy survivors so quickly, that you wont gain a lot of bloodpoints. No chases, just genrus vs insane Kill potential. said that, you wont loose a game ever again, unless you play on Lerys

Frustation? A lot at the beginning. She is hard to learn, but once you know how she works and you have a feeling for her blinks, there is nothing (and i mean Nothing) that can stop you.

My conclouson: If your main goal is to get easy wins or bully SWF Teams, play the Nurse. If you wanna have decent gaming experience, play something else.

Spirit and Billy are Great Killers and you probably gain more with those.

  • @Bongbingbing said:

They've said it before, The Grind is in place to keep people playing. A very stupid thing in my opinion, It should be the game that keeps you playing but It's their game.

It's crazy that you see people like streamers who play the game for 4 hours+ every day who still haven't maxed out.

It is the game that keeps people playing, but grinding is an important part of it too. Without grinding, this game would nowhere near as populated as it is now.

People should stop asking for stuff they will regret in the long run.
