  • I am at 27 for survivor after playing a
Round 8 hours since it started.

The spawn places don't seem to be that random and after a few games I found them pretty essily, there is also one close to every event hook.

Don't do them seperate if you can you share the nectar you get around the same amount you just harvest quicker.

After the initial learning games I started to get 1 vial per match more often than not.
  • Queue times are a problem right now, there is either still a bug or not many survivors in your region, the former well it needs fixed but the latter means they have to do something to get more survivors playing.

As for the real games well this community is so toxic it's actually really nice to see both sides work towards a common goal and get along.
  • Due to the killer lobby times maybe they are trying to get people to switch over to give others a higher chance?

It is a pain, I play both sides so it doesn't affect me but I can understand having to do something you don't find fun, apart from the grind it is in essence the same principle as the last events, I would say if you don't enjoy it don't do it, think about the last events you only got one piece for for each side by playing each side, if you did not play survivor then for those why do it now? look at this as the same way you still get the one skin for the side you play.

  • Its something that became apparent after playing it a while, you are right and I think being dependent on others to get your bonus points is not going to work in the long run, you never know how much they need to farm with the system, the way its working I have joined some matches and only need around 15% of a flower to max out my vial so four and no bonus, the killer side is ok as they can always get the bonus with the hook.

Take the other events where less offerings were used towards the end for the players who may have came in a bit later, this has the potential to be even worse as you get nothing for it so no point using them when you could use a party streamer, cake or another blood point offering and get guaranteed points.

Personally I think the extra objective is a nice idea and the event is fun, its only when you start to see these cracks does it seem not very well thought out, they should have went back to the old system and if they want a grind make it more.

Survivors - need 180 cankerous - like the old system each one done by any survivor goes towards your goal if you played an offering, you also have to do at least 25% of one to get them as people cant just leave it to the rest.

Killer - you need 100 event hooks

Needing around 60 games at least for each side is where I got those figures from, 4 each game means 45 games yes so I thought about how long the event lasts and like the others the offerings will probably start to be used less, killers are also less as they have to be near a hook to get the point and RNG is not always in favour of this.

  • Yes you can be banned for it, it comes under holding the game hostage, if any one of those survivors record whats happening you will find out soon enough.

  • Killers get 1/6 for one hook, survivors get just over 2/6 for one full flower, you can only lose 1/6th per game in theory as you don't lose the progress upon death when you get to the a line of the vial its like having three progress save points.

  • Now the people who were complaining about the people complaining come to this thread and complain go figure.

  • They said on the stream that you wouldn't have time to grind for more than 1 outfit, the event lasts 2 weeks. How is that not a grind?

It wont be hard, take the killer vials, 6 hooks per vial, 15 max you can achieve, you have the potential of 12 hooks per game, say you average 4 hooks a game to be conservative, that is only 23 games of killer to max out what you can get, average game time 10 mins again to be conservative, that is 230 minutes or 3h50m of playing not including lobby waiting, the main issue with killer is the lobby bug which could be a problem which is down to them not the player.

It looks highly feasible you could have earned all the skins made in the time of the event using an average of 3 hours a night and 6-9 hours on your days off if one wished too.

  • Technically impersonating a dev is against the rules, having a name saying BHVR may not be cosidered impersonating as such without them actively speaking and representing themselves as one.

  • You know I was called a see you next tuesday because someone DC's after I hooked three people, let the others get saves while walking far away so they could also heal up (which they didnt), didnt go after the unhooked person, but im aparently a trash killer since I didnt farm as long as I should have while the person who said it hid in lockers instead of doing gens to help spawn the hatch which I would have gave to the last person had they doen that.

Its a sense of entitlement, you always should play by the made up rules in their head.

Exactly where do you think those skins would “make sense” to drop them other than the Hallowed Blight event? Secondly, it cost a lot of money to pay the art and design team to make all those skins. Money they need back now, so they can continue to pay the art and design team to make more new skins.

It’s not like they can go to the art and design team and say “Hey, thanks for making those skins. We’ll pay you once they go live later. Please take this promissory IOU till then, and continue to work making more new skins. Then we’ll pay you for the other Hallowed Blight skins.”

To be fair they are more like legacy 2 type skins than halloween, these skins could have been brought out anytime and didnt have to be called the hallowed blight at all, any skin could have been dropped for halloween like the last events, as long as they were exclusive I dont think anyone would care.

They are just skins so its not the end of the world but its not a great event, its a play for some free skins which anyone can also purchase, there is no difference with the current available cosmetics, they may have added a few new looking hooks and flowers but it is the same as what we currenlty have, new skins being released and some grind shards for it while someone else simply pays for it, its not an exclusive like in the past, like the old legacy is, can you imagine if they decided to release those into the cash shop, Id bet this forum would actually set ablaze.

  • No one will leave lol if they do over this well thats more fool them.

They also didnt hype it directly, they did however allow it to happen on these forums when they could have closed it down instantly, I just think it has been done a bit badly by using an event to push those extra skins, its a marketing idea but not a great one imo as it has cleary had an effect.

  • @Fibijean I agree with that, its a nice concept and personally I wouldnt play ranked anymore if it happened which would be good for myself but probably not those that do play for that sense of achievement, I have always saw DBD as a casual game to play for fun and the girnd for blood points is what I think keeps people playing.

The current system is broken with the deranking, I also think its a scummy thing to do even if you play the match out as you then getting matched with people of lower skill/time played, your idea does circumvent that problem and just mixes everyone into a lobby.

  • I cant see this ever happening for a two reasons.

DBD is a game built on grind, something to work for, you also have to earn bloodpoints for addons, a casual mode what would it entail? every perk but no addons?

It would separate the playerbase when some are already finding it harder to find games especially in smaller or quieter regions, while rank can be annoying it is there to separate the players and pair them up with equal skill, I am not saying it works but its idea is sound.

DCing to derank will more than likely not ever get you a ban, a few streamers still do this but they themselves tend to play out the game until the end and DC once they can either escape or die on when hooked, they still play there role for the whole match.

  • @Tsulan said:

Here is the list of the skins we could get during the other events.
Yes, we should totally be mad at them. /S
    SNIP...

While yes technically we get more I still say less is more when comes to an event, the whole point of an event is to earn something you wouldnt normally get in a timed environment.

I would also point out in the past cosmetics were very few and far between, they were always sought after as before the shop opened the way they trickled in made each one special, now they pump them out so fast cosmetics are saturated within the game they have became less special, apart from legacy and well this is like a legacy 2 look so its no coincidence they want to charge for it.

That comes down to this scenario and while I always support the devs for cash shop cosmetics but to something which can only be described as a sort of legacy 2 as its the first one to use the same gold glimmer, something which people have asked for since the original legacy can no longer be earned, allow teasers to be posted on the forums and then only the day before tell everyone you can only earn 3 out of 21 pieces in an event an the skins will be avaible to always buy on the cash shop.

To be fair its not really an event its now a prelude to try and sell more skins, nothing more, there is no exclusive to earn as its on the cash shop, its not a reward its a piece of a pie so you want to buy more of it, imo it devalues what the past events were and it doesmake me worry about how they are going to go forward in the future, and event was always something to reward your playerbase with an exclusive and also something to bring people back to the game.

It seems to be right, and no one believes in a foreigner’s remarks.
If you have Chinese friends, you can take a look at our forum.
Is it as I said, many people are innocently banned?
I just to illustrate the fact that the new team is how to catch up with work efficiency, indiscriminate ban, not to look for ridicule

They are not innocent thats the thing, if it was unsportmanslike conduct then its probably DCing too much or being overly abusive in the end game chat.

Remember even with 20 hours someone can overly DC, the stats start after 10 games and its a percentage.

Leave here trying to play the race card and calling discrimination, all the people banned know exactly what they did, each one will continue to plead ignorance and innocence as always but in the end they did what they did and not have to wait a week to play.

The problem I have with this is that you may ask for one, then the next person asks for two, then three, then they are all free. The problem isn't that they give one skin away for free, it is that people EXPECT them to give more away and won't be happy no matter what they get.

I am not trying to call you out, but even if BHVR came out today and said two free ones people would scream for more. They have to make a decision and all of us as a player group has to make decisions too. Their decision is how do we make money to pay our staff and keep our game going and we as players have to decide when enough is enough.

I understand there are many players and many of us here on the forums that have sunk hours into this game. The grind is not pretty, but an event should bring more players and more money in, not be an event to grind for things. This game is enough grind stop trying to add new things to grind for.

Many hardcore DBD players say this will be 1-2 days worth of grind, but for those average players that 1-2 grind is 10 or so days. I am sorry you have time to sit and grind that long many don't. I think this is more than fair allow those who have the time to earn them and those who want more pay for them. Everyone is on an even playing field then.

They already have a solution to help those that cant grind as much and its been used in the past, community events, old and new players get them, its a goal so we all work together for something which are better than separate ones as once a player get there reward they don't generally care about the others.

  • @powerbats said:
So you can purchase them so what, YOU'RE GETTING TO GET THEM FOR FREE !!!!!! The people that're going to be on vacation or unable to play or not able to play enough will be able to buy them in that case. Do any of you complaining about this consider anyone else besides yourselves in this situation, or are you looking at this only from a selfish standpoint?

There's been posts from weeks back from people saying they wouldn't be able to play or hardly at all so they'll not get a chance to all 4 pieces let alone one. By allowing them to be purchased it allows those who can't get them to get them. It isn't all about a cash grab and sure they make some extra money but they also ensure that those who don't get a chance for whatever reason don't get screwed over or feel left out.

So by that same logic they should just bring back the original legacy and put them into the cash shop? its not like there are not people who did not have the time to earn them or for the ones who bought the game too late so its exactly the same scenario you just mentioned, but I would bet if they even hinted at that there would be a huge uproar about how it devalued what some earned funnily enough kind of like any event skin wouldn't you say?

Events like legacy have been timed so people have a chance to earn rewards in game for the actions they do, every event so far has been something to earn by playing the game doing objectives, this is the first one that is different and most of the items being released with it you have to pay for, they should have done one like in the past, a simply skin as less is more.

I am fine with the practice of selling cosmetics but to use an event to push them and only tell people the day before after its been all over their forums for a couple of weeks? it has been gaining hype about earning them and they could have at anytime been honest regarding how it would work without having to showcase anything, it is not a great idea for any company to bait consumers into paying for something as it breaks a lot of the trust consumer have and are less likely to spend money on what they release int he future.

The skins are basically the new look legacy, its really not a coincidence they make something using basically the same effects that people have been asking for and then charge for it,

  • @purebalance said:

Which would look entirely ridiculous. That's like saying you're not getting just one box of wheat thins, you're getting 100 of them. Are you really getting 1 wheat thin? No.

Not entirely true as the survivor top or pants for Claudette could go well with some of her other cosmetics.

The legacy looking ones could maybe be viewed as different but that's subjective and even now the old legacy were a few parts to each set its how it has always been.

  • @purebalance said:

    @Global said:
ITs not only one outfit you get a max of three unlocks for anything. Keep in mind these cosmetics are extremely high quality and events usually will only give you 1 cosmetic this gives you 3.

lol calling this "3" items when in any other game it's one item. Keep drinking the kool aid.

Well even though I don't agree with how this is being done technically it is three items, you can chose for example three tops for three separate characters or one outfit which is still three separate items.

  • @not_Queen said:

The way we see it is that you can earn a full outfit of your choice or 3 separate cosmetics in the new collection. This is more than what was offered in the previous events.

Why was this not advised before today? I don't have a problem with cosmetics on the shop, I dont have a problem with these items being sold if they were honest about it from the get go, the the issue I have is that the past events everything which was teased was earnable while this time it feels like you purposely baited people to get hype up so they would spend money, it makes me feel very disappointed in what BHVR are turning into, it seems like intentional deception and I have lose respect for anyone that does this.

The expression Less is more comes to mind when it comes to trying to get money out of what has always been an event to earn things from.

  • Why do people keep posting the same things over and over.

Survivors control how the killer plays in terms of camping and tunnelling.

Camping, do gens or you are rewarding it, the killer gets at the very most two kills and very little blood points, sees its not worth it and maybe changes how they play.

Tunnelling, don't save when the killer is in the radius, its a pretty simple concept really, if they are camping don't save and see above.

The killer cant tunnel if survivors play smart, killers wont camp if its not worth it (unless they catch that DS, tbagging looper of course), so who is really playing like an #########? the ones who are taking the opportunities survivors hand them or the ones who are rewarding it?

  • For one you don't get banned for deranking you get banned for DCing a percentage of your games, lots of streamers derank but they are not banned because its a very tiny percentage of how many games they play.

So if your friend got banned he must have DC'ed more than just to derank and I mean a lot more.

It wont as the game is over, there is no need to prolong it any further, accept you did not make it out, move on and find another game.

debatable, as you can read in the previous 2 pages

It used to be this way, you would get a chance but due to the time it wasted they changed it so the game ends quicker.

The only extreme case's it would be beneficial to the survivor only is if the hatch has spawned right next to them or they are hooked at the gates when opened, but then you have say in all seriousness why you think you deserve a that free escape? what this would do it simply punish the killer for doing well and downing you, in both those scenarios the mechanic itself would in effect be trolling the killer especially with the changes to unhooking, it has the potential to be worse than DS and really strong in SWF like everything else.

    @PigNRun said:
    Its funny though...

    • Killers ask the situation with the hatch to be fixed.
    • "Just accept your 3 killls and move on to the next game"

    • Survivors ask for the last Survivor to be able to struggle.
-"Accept the match is over and move on".

    • "Meh meh meg, illogical argument, mih mih mih, cant refute me, moo moo moo, fallacy."

This is why the hatch closing was a bad idea and they are reworking it, it seems what works for the side someone plays is ok but if the other side wants something its not, that's the DBD player mentality and isn't balance, the main reason they are changing the hatch is the time it takes with the standoff, if they are trying to fix one waste of time why introduced another?

False reports clogging the system? That's a stretch don't you think? Just make reporting unavailable until the end of the match. Unless you're talking about steam reports through the overlay.

    @Wolf74 said:

False reports like "the killer camped" ?^^

    @Orion said:
Anyone who plays Killer for an extended period of time knows that they'll get reported for everything under the sun, including not letting someone live (hatch), "tunneling", "camping", and a bunch of other made-up Survivor rules. The problem is that those Survivors confuse their made-up rules with the actual rules of the game and make many false reports.

Its not a stretch by any means, they are trying to cut down on the false reports like those mentioned above, they happen on both sides of the game and they discussed possible time out bans for those abusing the report system on the stream as it is taking up too much time and keeping them from reacting to real reports quicker.

The system in place only allows you to report after your game has finished, the thing is as a solo player If I see something I think is possibly a hack why should I or anyone have to wait until the game ends for everyone? certain add-ons and perks can make you wonder how something happened, seeing the add-ons and perks at the end screen enables you to see WHY it happened.

  • @Radiant said:

The only reason I can think of is they do not know how to differentiate between SWF and solo queues after the game.

why would doing it for solo queues be a problem?

False reports clogging up the system, perks and addons can make every game different, if someone uses a Killer addon to see through walls for example they shouldnt get reported for wall hacking, they want players to see what each one was using at the end of the game so certain things happening made sense, thats not the problem it all comes down to SWF abusing that info when someone dies.

  • The only reason I can think of is they do not know how to differentiate between SWF and solo queues after the game.

  • The skill check is never hard to hit even with the perk, most good players hit more great skill checks, as for the Doc comment he is one killer what about the rest?

DS is the biggest crutch perk in the game, it punishes the killer for doing well.

The only reason I would to even remotely at a stretch keep it as is would be for the obsession isdue to Rancor, its the only obsession perk used most of the time by survviors and it takes away the chance for those who never used it to be downed and mori'd at the end, the non obsession would still get the planned stun mechanic.

  • Certainly seem that way, it should only happen if a survivor is also not within 16m imo.

  • With all the talk about it I was sure it would make it in, I am kind of dissapointed with this decision to be honest as the reason doesnt make sense, its a stun without dropping them nothing else how hard can it be!

  • That's because BBQ wasn't just designed for a killers BP gain, the added aura effect is to try and entice killers to leave the hook and go after another survivor for stacks, its an anti camping/tunneling perk by design.

WGLF was completely designed with survivors in mind for extra BP gain nothing else.

  • One reason is they believe nothing in the game should mean you need BL3 to get a hit on a survivor, it was always a band aid mechanic and never solved the overall problem, they have also reworked some of the long window loops in maps which is where it was the most useful, its a work in progress atm so I expect it to be worse before it gets better.

  • @Peanits said:
    I'll play Devil's Advocate.

Who's going to opt to play against well coordinated survivors? I'm willing to bet not many.
What's that going to do to SWF queue times? It'll make it go through the roof. Remember the beta? That'll just happen again. People will just dodge lobbies until they get in the lobby with their friends, driving up queue times for everyone in the process. And then when you do end up against a group, you won't even know, and people will still complain and accuse them of being a group.

This imo is the wrong way to fix the problem, I agree they cant seperate SWF as no one would play against them or very little.

    Killer is fine against solo
Solo players are playing as intended
SWF breaks the game which is causing the problem

So what is happening? the devs are fixing killers and solo players, instead of simply fixing SWF!

I am a solo player and to be honest the direction the devs are taking the game is making it stupidly easy, all the notifications and aura perks take away the fun of the game.

Dont need to hunt as a killer anymore, lets equip these aura perks and I will see where they are, no need to play the game as I have so many one hit down options, no need to be aware of what perks the killer has as there is a notification letting me know, everything about the game is being changed and not for the better for those who liked having to think and mindgame.

They are constantly dumbing down the game and all because of SWF, why not hinder them instead, I was never in favour of that but since the game is now being changed so you dont have to think whatsoever its time to solve the problem not everything around it.

One of the most recent ######### moments for me was in the last dev stream, does McClean really think having Freddy see every survivor once he puts one to sleep a good idea? that is mind blowingly off the mark, how can anyone think that punishing a player for another one being caught is a good idea, this makes me think they are so out of touch, if this happens I will DC when I play against Freddy, right now I have only DC'd around four times in a few hundred hours due to laggy killers but I refuse to play against a mechanic which punishes myself for some random player being caught.

Simple fixes, if you join via SWF you cannot stack items or offerings, no more flashlights/toolboxes or map offerings being over used to try and dictate the play.

4 man SWF - sa above but you also cannot use perks that enhance speeds, no self care allowed and No DS, 6 gens need done to power the gates..
3 man SWF - you start as a 3 man and the game is normal but only one DS allowed.
2 man SWF can only join with 2 random survivors and as it is now.

This way the game is being balanced around how it was meant to be played and they can then stop trying to hold us by the hand taking us to where we need to go, make this game the hunt, hide, run, evade, kill game it should be.

  • Feedback posts are one thing but so many are simply crying about the patch notes without even trying the PTB and just jumping on a bandwagon.

I personally cant try the PTB yet as when installing it the game decided to delete itself lol, reinstalling and then ill try again but in the mean time i'm watching some streams and nothing so far seems OP or UP them and nothing really seems to have changed too much, the main thing I want to see for myself are the window changes on the large loops, hopefully the BL change and these work out well.

Its a PTB after all, its there for us to test it out and give constructive feedback and opinions on the new chapter and changes.

  • @AnotherRandy said:
They could have done sooo many things. The easiest one would be to code a program checking the achievement and the date. If prestige was earned before the dead line -> legacy handed out. And even if its not possible to find out which char was prestiged, they could just gave for every survivor/killer due to prestige level. This would be the minimum to say sorry from devs side about all the suffering we went through. (I mean, I lost my save file 2 times.. Imagine spending over 50 million BP at once.. Sitting there for hours leveling was nearly a punishment itself).

The problem with this is hacked achievements, back then the saves were on the PC, now they are stored on a server its harder but people who have that achievement hacked would be gifted them and if the profile is private the devs would never know, they could open it but then that would mean manually checking as doing it automatically they could just open it for that small period, as I said it is open to a lot of abuse.

They also cant give it to all chars for those that got prestige lvl 3 as those who had that on last day would be gifted all the skins for all characters, the ones that actually earned a few of the skins may not be happy as they are essentially nothing but bragging rights and it would negate the work they put in.

I really do feel for you but the solution was never simple due to the way the game saved and how easy it was to hack the file, I don't think at this point the devs will ever sort it out, the more time that passed the harder it got to find a solution that would work.

  • @AnotherRandy said:
Sooo, having videos on YouTube, Screenshots, multiple save files, and achievements on steam with correct date isn't enuf? Please stop commenting, u got really hard behavioured.

In theory they should be able to do something but if they do over your proof what about those that did not make videos, take screens or backup the save file? since it was never a requirement to ever do so, is it fair for those legit players to be treated differently than those that did over a mistake made by the devs? that is the quandary they are in giving some and not them all would be the worst thing they could do and trusting the others is open to abuse, if BHVR had a copy of all the save flies up to that point it would be different but since they were stored on the individuals PC it will never happen it seems.

It sucks I agree but the problem which has been created can only be fixed by giving people another chance to earn them which we know will never happen.

  • There seems to be the same arguments constantly that NOED is a cruch perk, yes in some instances it can be considered one but its activation is in the survivors hands.

Totems are designed as a mechanic to slow the game down, in essence they are another objective which people keep asking for, just because it is not an objective that gains you anything more then BP does not mean its not worthy of doing, the whole point of NOED being a totems is simply to take survivors off gens, if you refuse to cleanse a totem you risk it activating, its not rocket science.

Dont blame the game, the perk or the killer if it activates, consider what your team mates have been doing, I've cleansed four totems and seen it activate, I dont complain about it I just think well there is only one left to find, it still creates another mini game for me, its a perk thats use is in our hands, it cant work if we do a secondary objective plain and simple, it is only ever strong when we allow it to be, dont be that person, cleanse any totem you see and the killer is running the whole game with just 3 perks.

  • Never going to happen, it was changed for a reason and that was mainly due to survivors complaining not killers.

The meta back then consisted of IG and Agi to try and get survviors to the basement, being slugged for four minutes every game because some idiot thought it was fun to sabo was never fun, now its a lot more tactical with the 99% strat at least.

There are also those survivors who would run to the far off corner when no hooks were left knowing the killer couldn't reach the basement just prolonging the game for no reason.

  • If you are interested its in a humble bundle atm with quite a few other games depending on if you have the others.

Steam sales are generally about 4 times a year, Spring, Summer, fall and Winter but DBD also sometimes have sales on there own.

  • @Master said:

I would really like to read up what EAC scans for, can you please provide some material.

EAC websites states all you need to know, to put it simply EAC should only scan the DBD folder and the DBD files running within the ram, it in essence detects anything that tries to interact and modify those without permission, to scan for the likes of MLGA it would need to scan all the programs running on your PC to find the specific apps code meaning it could detect all the apps running on your PC, this breaches privacy rules in lots of countries as personal data on what you are running is not allowed to be accessed unless you give permission.

MLGA does not interact with the game what so ever all it does is check the IP address you are attached too which you can see by opening up windows task manager, in essence MLGA is just a quick way of alt tabbing out the game, finding the IP your attached too and store it in a notepad file, each time you join a lobby you could have that notepad file open and Ctrl F to search for it then dodge, its just an instant way of doing it with MLGA.

Even though it is definitely a bann able offense we both know that you won't get banned for it, basically exactly the same as mlga

All someone needs to do is record you doing that in game and send it to the devs, while its a slow process they do still ban now and again, I know this as I reported someone for hacking, 8 days later they were banned.

They cannot detect MLGA so there is a difference, you really should read up on what they are allowed to do within the anticheat system and what they can scan for and then you will see why it can never be detected.

The RBT is not a killing tool. The intent behind the RBT is to stall and distract, and it does a pretty decent job of that.

This is also a big problem. What you're saying, in essence, is that her power is not intended to cause any real harm to Survivors. You don't see the problem with that?

The RBT's are not her power they are a secondary effect in essence to utilise allowing you to slow the game down.

Her actual power is the ambush.

  • Well this app could be different from MLGA, if it detects SWF how does it do it? in theory as someone said they scan profiles well it has to interact with steam, they may scan for joint friends playing the same game on someones steam profile, to be honest though but it wont really matter as people can just private the profile or hide their friends list, if it however manages to circumvent the profile setting and see past the privacy settings that's a whole new ball game and then it would be bannable.

It could be just an improved MLGA of course and it stores the IP's in batches and then auto disconnects them but that means building up a database yourself but that may also dodge those players when playing solo or only in a group of X amount.

MLGA simply utilises what windows already has within the task manager and brings the app to the front running in the form of an overlay, the reasons they cannot do anything is because they would be in breach of privacy rules detecting it as in no way does it interact with the game files or the running of it.

  • The thing with MLGA is that EAC is not allowed to detect it without breaching privacy rules.

EAC is only allowed to scan the ram for files which modify the DBD ones, MLGA is another app which to put it simply is an overlay, basically you are just bringing it to the front of the any other app your using, it does not utilise any of the DBD files when running so if you say the DBD can detect it something isn't right with what they are doing.

To also say that because it used to show the IP address and that is not something they wish to endorse also makes no sense, you can open up the task manager once in a lobby and you have the other persons IP address right there, also if they don't want certain info why allow the option to see other people profile at all at the end of the game? it doesn't make much sense saying that to be honest.

For what I can see MLGA was complained about, the dev's know they cannot do anything about it so they make the statement it is no longer whitelisted, said use at your own risk and walked away to appease the ones complaining, its a problem they cannot fix without using dedicated servers.

  • THE DS change will still be hated and probably wont change as much as you think, they like the idea of it stunning the killer and also making picking up that survivor take longer for the whole match, both of those mean more flashlight save so it could make SWF actually stronger after the recent QOL changes to killers.

Self Care they said on last weeks stream that they believe it is fine as it is but didn't rule out looking at it again in the future, havent watched this weeks but no one anywhere else is talking about a SC nerf so I assume nothing has changed.

  • Report them an move on, there is nothing anyone can do or say to change how some please act but they can be banned from playing.
