I still can't believe people still argue about NOED and DS.
NOED can be removed and never come into play by taking roughly 1 minute between all the survivors to do the totems you see while one survivor running DS can waste more time than it takes to cleanse all them all.
Apart from 1 or two maps most survivors between them all will run past every single totem on the map without having to detour anywhere letting something activate because you chose to do that is on you not the killer, they chose to risk using the perk and if it pays off well it all because the players allowed it too.
NOED has a true counter while DS does not, what killer have are things to make it more tolerable. -
The DBD player base has lots of biased Killer and biased Survivor Mains.
Killer and surivor mains fight it out in a never ending war of words, if someone posts regarding how toxic one side is you first see a flurry of those agreeing with it, the other side then comes in and flips the argument around and stating well X is toxic, when it comes to toxic play each side thinks they can use any strat possible as its part of the game, its just the ones the other side use that are of course toxic even if they also are mechanics, then you have the ones who bring something completely irrelevant into the fold which was changed a long time ago to try and bait others.
If something happens they dont like in game then it cant possibly be fair! they will come to the forum saying how stupid and OP it is, how changes must be made demanding they do fix it NOW!
Yes the community is terrible, there are so many players who simply feel enititled for the game to be build how they think it should be and wont accept it for what it is all the while continuing to play it, they cant see that changes are happening and while some seem good and some seem bad thats the challenge of trying to balance an ever evolving multiplayer game, it wont always be how you want it to and you simply need to adapt and stop blaming other players in the match, its game, nothing in yourclife changes if you kill, live or die, my advice is to so stop taking it so seriously.
-
Camping and tunnelling may feel annoying if its happening to you but its part of the game that everyone has to accept it, its a PVP game and people will use whatever helps them to gain an advantage and win.
Yes things change but to overly punish camping and tunnelling does not make any sense, to get players to stop it means you have to change their mindset, you cannot punish someone for using a viable strategy which makes perfect sense to do at times, why do you think someone should not go after the weakest survivor if they see one at full health and one injured? they have introduced some perks to persuade those to go after another and also leave the hook but this only works if they use those perks.
The punishment is already in the game by way of the survivors doing gens and getting out, this lead to all the gen rush complaints starting as the strategy isnt as viable all the time, the problem is the gens speed helps against camping but it also makes it worse for those who dont, it then means tunnelling and camping are the best way to secure the game goes slower, taking someone out quickly makes the most sense.
The only thing the devs can do to try and help right now is to make it worthwhile for the killer to leave or go after another person, they have been trying this but with how quick the game can potentially be finished both of these strategies will have a firm place in the game until it has changed, even if they do make major changes some will still go after the injured person as it makes perfect sense to do so.
What we have to remember when playing survivor is the killer is not our friend, they are not there to make the game fun for us, they are there to kill us by any means.
-
The games playbase is way too toxic to add this into the game, no thank you.

For one I never said there were not better survivors but Marth is in no way a bad survivor, the others also are really good survivors in their own right, there are also better killers who don't agree with Marth does that make his opinion invalid? No but it's not THE be and end of all opinions.Master said:@twistedmonkey said:

No, you are missing the point.
Sure, especially a killer main will always play some survivor too because killer is just a lot more frustrating/drainign to play than relaxing as a survivor. That doesnt change the fact that there are way more experienced/better survivors out there than marth and he says so too.Yes its 4 survivors doing gens and geting out, its what they are supposed to do actually (not clicking and tbagging the killer)
The SWF figure was from last year, now you can add a bit on those numbers and then you have to realize that there are a lot more SWF on higher ranks.
Sure, looping is not the same as before, but genrushing is exactly the same as before. Nothing has changed and if the survivors actually try, the result will be the same (dont tell me that a survivor can only loop for a few seconds nowadays)
Its fine if you want to play casually and play worse intentionally, but please refrain from doing statements about high lvl gameplay then.
What are killers supposed to do in such games?
Personally I derank now.... lul what an amazing design
Who said anything about clicking and tbagging? That's just trying to deflect from the fact survivors don't just do gens, there are totems, there are chests, doing a gen, chases, saving, healing, only swf has the advantage of always knowing where the killer is at all times so they can work on a gen without also having to be aware.
Yes gens are the main objective and that is why they can be done fast but it's not like the depip scenario is the norm by any stretch.
Your now stretching what I said, I said the devs are making small steps to try and make the game more enjoyable for both sides, to address what needs done, they have been actively making changes but they can't simply make it so survivirs go down in 10 seconds as it's not fun, they also risk being camped as no matter what some killers will still do that.
I also never mentioned I play worse intentionally, how in any way is doing totems, opening chests and saving, trying different perk loadouts intentionally doing worse? Dbd is not an esports competative game, if you think this way i actually feel a bit sorry for you as you cant find the game much fun, please refrain from ever telling people what they should write about, your opinion is not THE opinion its just one of many, I will comment on what ever lvl I play at thank you.
If you choosing to derank why do you want to play at lower ranks? Maybe since survivors play around more? If it's such a competative game why chose to not play in the more competative zone?
The problem with high ranks is not just how fast gens go it's also the way some killers choose to play, you have survivors with a few thousand hours also deranking as they just want to have fun, both sides make the high ranks what they are not just one, remember every action has a reaction.
I am not sure if you were here when every hardcore killer main told survivors to do gens when the camping discussion reared almost every day, you know what the response was? Do gens! Kind of funny how the term "gen rush" never actually came about untill after that.
So in the end the depip squad is how the game is always played and there is of course no issue in the lower ranks of killers finding games and having longer lobby times than survivors even before the event, seems correct right enough. -
In no way is what I said wrong, my opinion on dbd is that it's a casual game played for fun, while yours may be different I wouldn't say its wrong.Master said:@twistedmonkey said:

Removing the safety pip would probably be a good start. Make it easier to derank if you do poorly. Currently you have to do really poorly to actually derank, meaning you'll just naturally rank up on average (de-pipping is significantly harder than safety-pipping and pipping combined). It does sound nice in theory but we know what happened when survivor was made harder to pip, the problem they have is trying to keep the playerbase spread accross all the ranks and by making it harder for either side could create an area with ranks 15-8 being utopia and with only the best ending up at high ranks you face the same players over and over.
I also think the devs need to look at why some survivors and even some of the top streamers/fog whispers with a few thousand hours no longer feel like they want to play in the red ranks, by making it too hard and if they did remove the safety pip it will be easier for people to stay at a certain rank by choice with less players ranking up, maybe the whole idea of ranking up itself needs to be looked at as most posts regarding it now state it means nothing but an achievement and once done there is no point going there anymore.
Thats simply wrong.
in ANY other competitive game, the lower ranks represent tha majority of all players and only a very small percentage makes it EVER into the highest ranks.
Of course the result are higher queue times on high rank, but that has always been part of playing a game competitively. And yes, facing the same players over and over is part of that too. However, that wouldnt affect any of us probably since most of us are casual players actually and I doubt that anyone here could compete on a competent lvl (at least I couldnt tbh)
And of course we need rewards for ranking up, otherwise the whole system doesnt make sense.
But to take your example in those competative games you speak off they separate the user base, the ranking system is such that you will not have the same that happens here, someone with full perks and 2k hours against someone with 50 hours and lvl 2 perks, unless someone takes a long break from the game, they also dont reset ranks like DBD.
I didn't say they shouldn't reward people but the ranking system as it is just is not working right now, in other games you need a degree of skill where as in DBD you playa lot and you will hit rank 1.
How they sort it who knows but they tried to help new players by creating the rank 20-16 zone and killers have long queues, hit rank 5 and below longer queues, right now waiting 10-30 minutes on a match shows something is wrong and with it being so easy to rank up why is that?
I would also bet if killers saw the same pool of players they would try to derank, could you imagine playing the same flashlight troll over and over, talk about torture.
-
You are still missing the point, the depip may be killer mains most of the time but they do also play a hell of a lot of survivor, marth has over 4000 hours in the game and has played survivor on stream lots of times.Master said:@twistedmonkey said:

Well if they introduced the flowers with the intent to gather any data regarding how secondary objectives could work out, then they failed miserably by not tieing them into the main objective. The healing times are completely irrelevant in a genrush game. Aura and one hit perks have been part of the game already during the depip squad experiment.
Well regarding camping, they already started punishing it with the latest patch
Not really as to start with the games were a lot easier for killer with every survivor trying to get vials, think about why they stopped allowing them to keep harvesting them? it comes down to seeing what happens when not all but 1,2,3 or 4 people doing a second objective affects the game also.
The depip squad was a while ago, think about what they have introduced or changed since then to make chases shorter and killer more powerful, bamboozle, bitter murmur, tinkerer, spirit fury, haunting grounds to name a few, the only real ones used prior to these were NOED, Nurses, BBQ and MYC.
The depip squad also was a group of people each with thousands of hour with an agenda, the cream of the crop you could say, the devs cannot take the most extreme case and work the game soley around it so small changes must be made, yes survivors who play like this can depip every killer but if this was a true reflection of how everyone played there would be no killers below rank 12, there are so many variables in how people play the game.
Yes killers an also depip anyone they wish too, its a vicious cycle, what they seem to be trying to do it have the game in such a state where the chases and interactive for both sides and games last a longer.
The depip squad consisted of three killer mains and only one survivor main. I am pretty sure that if 4 survivor mains with the same experience would gruop up and do sth similar, the results would even be more devastating.
Considering that the depip squad powered the gates in 3 minutes in their fastest game, I dont see how the changes that happened so far would affect this number effectively. Sure loops have been reduced and been made less safe, but I believe that the result would be the same.
Regarding your perks: Bamboozle, well once they notice it, tell yuor mates and switch the loop ( drop godpallet). Sure, it will reduce the effective time of a pallet but gens pop fast enough to drop god pallets earlier etc
bitter murmur has no effect in such games, same as tinkerer
Spirit fury, just drop pallets earlier (will probably result in one hit through a pallet during the whole game, if any)
Haunting ground has no effect either because the depip squad ignores totems.
It's also 4 survivors doing nothing but gens and getting out, the game is not just about escaping, you get very little bloodpoints for playing this way and that also does not take into account it was a 4 man SWF and the last figure we heard of was around 8% of games had this setup.
Now take the depip squad powering gens in 3 mins, with the changes and perks you each drop of a pallet quicker means less loops so you down people quicker, as I said small changes need to happen first which they are doing, you negate the fact that it's still an extreme case, totems get done with ruin up, devour hope, NOED etc so haunting grounds does get activated in most matches, the lure of bloodpoints alone is enough to cleanse it, the emblem system was also brought in afterwards so survivor had to do certain actions to pip.
Most players are out to have fun, not simply sit pressing m1 on a gen all the time it's mundane and like I already said the depip squad is no where near the norm if it was there would be no killers at the red ranks complaining they can't get lobbies right now.
For balance they can't take the one extreme for 8% of the user base and apply it to everyone, this is not a higly competative game for most people it's a grind game where the most important aspect is actually bloodpoints, balance is always somewhere in the middle in these types of games from the best to worst case just like 2 die 2 escape is where the game should be. -

Apparently the survivor pustules in the event are a way for them to tell the impact of adding a new objective to slow the game down alon wih the slight healing nerf designed to slow the survivors down a bit more.
Anything that has changed in the past few month from pallets, vaulting mechanic, making the survivor take more time to do something, aura and one hit down perks are all designed to try and help killers get hooks faster to compensate for how fast survivors sit on gens.
Its a hard one to balance as you have those that do totems and those who dont, side objectives change the speed quite a lot, they also dont want to have survivors downed easier just to be camped and probably why its taking longer, while its a valid strategy its not fun and thats the name of the game.

Lol, MLGA is not bannable, they can't ban you for monitoring your network. We've been through this a hundred times on the steam forums. This^
MLGA does not interact with the game in any way, its a simple tool which monitors who you are connected too, if you open windows task manager you can also see who you are connected too when playing this game.
For EAC to ban for MLGA they would have to ask the user for permission to scan for the actual tool itself or they would be in breach of privacy rules.

Only rank 6 right now, 2nd season of play, but I seem to just keep moving up even though I'm not the best killer out there. I would have to actively try not to rank up right now, maybe once I hit the red ranks this will stop but so far I get a pip every single round. If I had no idea how rank worked I would say it's simply based off rounds played and nothing more. Its a mixture of everything you do in the game, chases, gens done, hooks, kills, atruism etc, check out the emblem system on the wiki for a more comprehensive break down of it.
https://deadbydaylight.gamepedia.com/Emblems
Its very hard to derank and even if you play badly you normally will still easily black pip, they did try to make survivor harder to pip a few months back which caused a problem of killers having really long queue time in the red ranks, a bit like now but once the event goes that should hopefully fix itself again.
-
Will never happen, it is way too abusable, this is one of the reasons the dev's said MLGA is no longer whitelisted.
Play Nurse - Avoid, Camper - Avoid, Tunneller - Avoid, Uses DS - Avoid, good looper - Avoid, SWF member - Avoid.
Why should it be harder for anyone to find a game due to them simply using the allowed features and mechanics of the game.
Cheats well thats another story it would be nice but again due it being abusable it cant be done, at least the way it is we can all report them and the more reports the more chance they have of being banned.
-
Rank in this game has nothing to do with skill and never has, it has always been about how long you have played each month.
-
Nice one

The only things I think are toxic is what people say in the end game chat, dcing and using cheats, these need stamped out.
Anything in game using the mechanics provided is fair game as far as I'm concerned, it's a game I just don't see the need to take it so seriously whether I live, die or kill it's about the journey not the ending. -

Well, the developers don't have a choice. They either add voice comms to solo Q survivors and SWF or buff solo Q survivors to SWF level for a better foundation of balance. Yes, I agree, you have a point with the "All these notifications and auras take away any need to think" -@twistedmonkey But sadly, this is the ONLY way since the developers won't go through months of coding for voice comms, this is just my opinion tho so I could be wrong.
They do have a choice to make and the one imo to make is to nerf those who join via the SWF queue, as I said nothing they can do will ever make solo survivors equal to the use of comms, comms give such an advantage that they negate every change the devs make, each change to try and bring solo up will only inherently buff SWF and make them even stronger.
SWF can always be in position with flashlight, can stack up on gens for quickness, can heal each other in groups, each nerf makes SWF more attractive in these few cases and there are a lot more, without knowing the killers position or the ones of all the other survivors 100% of the time they will never be able to bring solo up to the same lvl and even then its not adaptable on the fly or cant be planned out like those playing SWF.
Joining via SWF, you cannot stack offerings, cannot use the same items and only two items per game, aura perks, self care, speed heal or objective perks etc, they have all the uses of these perks built in by using comms so they remove that advantage by means of cutting down what they can use.
The other way it to simply add more objectives into the game which increase depending on how many are in an SWF group, for 4 man add 50% more, it is normal game for a 3 man but let the match start with 3, 2 man is again normal but they can only join with 2 solo players.
Problems fixed by changing everything around them can and will in most cases reappear and never truly get sorted, there comes a time then you just have to bite the bullet and try to fix the actual problem directly.
-
They can and very easily, if someone joins using swf lobby they have limitations.AnotherRandy said:9You can't balance swf around the game. Devs have no way to pretend voice communication. And every attempt to nerf swf resulted every single time hurting solo survivors more compared to a swf group.
It's not difficult to nerf only one of these ways when you join a lobby it all comes down to the devs wanting too.
By trying to bring solo player up to what SWF has the game is being dumbed down, all these notifications and auras take away any need to think, its the same with killer perks trying to combat swf instead of having to hunt let's just lead them to the survivors.

I sometimes play on SWF and when someone gets hooked and they have Kindred, it's a waste of a perk slot since comms already has the information that SWF have.Matt: Killer is camping me holding his chainsaw up.
Nickenzie: Okay, we're gonna gen rush but tell us when he leaves.
Nathan: I have BT, yeah I'll do a generator near where you are hooked at.
Maddy: I found Ruin.
Nickenzie: Great, break it and let's do generators.
Matt: Okay, he left now and he went towards you Nick.
Nickenzie: Okay, I'll hide and Nathan, get the save while me and Maddy does generators.
Nathan: I'm running to him now.
Matt: Thanks.Do you see the problem? Kindred is built-in to comms and having it in general wouldn't hurt. To be honest, you should want this as a killer main because that means they can buff you without leaving solo Q players behind.
That is why SWF needs balanced around the game not the game balanced around SWF.
Kindred lets someone know when a killer is near a hook but comm's lets them all know if the killer is hard or even soft patrolling, SWF can see the killer everywhere if someone is close they know.
They can also say the killer is on I can see the shack in the distance, each person says the shack pallet hasn't been used, team mates run to the shack and loops around it.
3 on a gen, one looking for Ruin, one of them runs alert and the killer kicks a gen, each person in the SWF now knows the killers location
That's the problem solo players can never have the information that SWF have, the aura perks and notification also buff SWF keeping them stronger, as I said there is nothing that can be done to solve the issue with trying to give solo players the same information, all this does is remove what little suspense is left in the game and remove any need to think or know your surroundings.
SWF needs to have certain limitations, no stacking of certain perks, no stacking of items or offering etc, they need to look at what comms gives them and work around what they do not need and what makes them too strong.
-
No more aura perks are needed in the game imo.
Part of solo play is the unknown all these new additions is making the game mundane as you hardly need to think anymore.
They can never give enough info to solo players to compensate for the advantage comms gives and each time they try they buff swf even more. -
I would ask you the same question, hold old are you if you honestly think that sort of behaviour is ok and should just be ignored?Bug_Reporter said:How old are u dude? Just ignore them and move on... I suppose u dont know how to do that because u've never played killer, right?

, in adding another objective into this event some of the nerf's over the past few months seem like they could be obsolete and need reverting or reworked.A Fog Whisperer did say on stream the event it was a test regarding more objectives being added into the game, they said the devs want to remove bloodlust from the game and also the healing nerf would no longer be needed, just two examples of changes made which could need to be reworked.
-
No they scraped the close mechanic as it didn't solve the problem of ending the game quicker, they also want it to be an equal chance for both sides not just shift the balance.Attackfrog said:Baby survivors need their hand out and "oh #########" card.
If we could close it, they might cry and not get blood points.
If killer is doing well, survivor still needs a panic button and way to easy ecape.
Killer's would be too overpowered if survivor wasn't given every possible chance to win without having to use brain or skill.
The same could be said for baby killers who complain, lack of brains and skill, the real high rank players have no problem killing or getting 4ks if they want too maybe your just not good enough and blame everything in the game for that makes you feel better.> @friendlykillermain said:
> but you cant leave because as soon as you do they hop in if killer finds it first they should win if survivor finds it first then they should win. also you can do gens because the killer cant under any circumstances leave because of the chance the survivor is waiting for you to leave. The whole reason for the hatch is to do with the lore and the ranking system, the entity feeds off hope, the last survivor has to have hope or the entity wont be able to feed, it also should be hard to double pip or 4K as in terms of perfect balance it should be 2 die 2 escape according to the devs, no one is entitled to a 4k or escape and that's why it needs reworked so its a fair chance for both sides. If you feel the standoff is too long then let them go, same as survivor let them grab you when jumping in, its being stubborn that prolongs the game not the mechanic itself, it comes down two players who feel entitled to kill or live.
-
What I don't understand is the length of time they took to add in another objective, the event shows it can be done and what happens when they do in comparison to the usual do gens and get out.
How much work have they done over the past months that may need to be reworked if they decide to add them? Just seems like more objectives which lots of people asked for was the over all better solution to prolong the games imo. -
Survivor for sure, shorter queue times and the pustules tend to spawn in the same places each time, also check for event hooks as there mostly is always one near them, after a few games you will earn where they are and should get a full vial in most games.

Why would you want to stick around and be mocked?Because its a game nothing else, you still gain blood points to lvl up and get more add-ons.
I can still use the same argument, why should someone play against a Nurse or Billy that slugs? why should playing optimally and well mean that someone is allowed to leave the game? what you are doing is quitting and denying the other players points and finishing the whole game and all because you don't like something happening.
Don't read the end game chat use the arrows to turn it off for the rest of the day, leave instantly after the game so what if someone TBag's remember the names and if you get them again well you can then do something about it if you wish.
As I already said if you allow someone to DC simply because they don't like how the game is going to go where does that stop? any little reason would see people DCing and it would happen a lot more than it does now, survivors DC it make the game unbalanced and the others are at a disadvantage, Killer DC's it wastes their time getting the game for very little blood points and they may lose there items and offerings depending how they do it.
Why are you actually playing this game if you really feel you should be entitled to dc simply because you think you wont win the game?

I wont..
No you said the above and also a killer camping or tunnelling etc.
As I said all of those are all simply mechanics and part of the game, what I said is completely relevant to what you said, what's the difference between leaving if your getting gen rushed as you don't like it or leaving when you join a game with the nurse because you don't like playing v's her? Another one writing a wall of text to complain, masking it by talking about bugs but overall its about the hatch mechanic.
Why oh why cant you just realise your own stubborness is what causes the problem, the fact is in the hatch situation it comes down to neither side willing to let them live or just die, that is the problem, those players who are unwilling to just end the game are more at fault than the mechanic.

I agree, it shows they actually listen to the feedback and make changes to help out when needed, the long queue's were the major issue and fixing it before the weekend in my book was the timeline they had to do something and they delivered.
They could do with adding ways for survivor to keep getting vials after they have maxed out as I do think some will start playing killer again for the guaranteed extra bloodpoints but its not as high a priority as the other issues right now like the PS4 bug, with the changes they have already made after feedback I take my hat off to them.

It's dependant on keeping them all alive if you believe they are SWF, one dies they know you have both perks so it goodbye totems and they 99% the doors.

Adrenaline is a one use perk for end game only, its the NOED of survivor perks and while NOED can be destroyed so can adrenaline by sacrificing the survivor before it activates, the only thing that makes it strong is SWF but that makes most thing seem OP.
If someone in the Freddy movies were given a shot of adrenaline do you think they would wake up?

That's not 100% true, I had absolutely no problems to get survivors to my lobby before the event. My longest Q time at rank 1 was 5 minutes, and this happened around 2 times per week. Otherwise I got my lobby filled within the first minute. And this was nearly always like that for me, unless I double pipped super quick to rank 1 after a rank reset .Yes it not 100% for everyone but there is a lobby bug which causes delays in them filling, the devs spoke about it on stream a couple of weeks ago, there has been no patch or word from them of the issue or when it may be fixed.
Some regions are less affected and get lobbies quicker than others but you just have to look at the forums over the past few weeks prior to the event and you will see lots of posts about long queue times, the worst affected areas are ranks 20-15 and 6-1, some say there is no actual bug and its just a lack of survivors but who really knows.

But my understanding is that queue is caused because everyone want to play killer to get their 30 vials?
If it was only 15 as originally intended then not so much of a problem. The killer queues were aleady bugged before this event and have been for a couple of months, its why a lot of people are asking them to just let them get all the vials from either side and survivors can continue to collect the flowers once finished helping the others progress so the ones who are killer mains can get games faster.
It would still be a problem with 15 vials as its really not about how many you need to get, the grind is not the problem as I said it is having to wait 20-40 minutes for a game, no one wants to sit in a lobby not playing, if you could get
Yes there are more playing killer but not just to get the vials, It is also the fact killers can keep getting the extra bloodpoints when playing an offering while survivors have to rely on the others needing vials, you can earn a lot more playing killer normally 50-60k per game without BBQ and survivor well 15-30k you would say without and with the bonus after you are finished the 30 as to be fair most others playing in the higher ranks are as well.
So you see its not about the grind for vials there is a lot more to the problem, if it was 30 and each side could keep earning with no lobby problems most people would have them both done by now or at the latest this weekend easily.

Balanced landing is the best exhuastion perk imo, it gives you the speed which is conditional on the map but it but is also has the secondary effect of less stagger when falling.
Lithe is a really good perk and paired with dance with me can enable quite a few nice jukes but again its conditional to vaulting a window and half the time the killer will hit you through it.
Sprint Burst used to be the top one as it can be activated anytime and negates some killers powers like the pigs ambush, the only prob is that its kind of boring to walk around everywhere and with the exhuastion nerf its not worth it, you can get more places by running normal in the game.
Dead Hard is a good perk, the downside is any decent killer will only allow its use once and can bait it so easily, it also need the game to have very little lag, it became more useful using it to get to a pallet or a vault.
-
I think you need to think what the complaints are actually about, its has nothing to do with the grind and everything to do with the length of time to a queue for killer, 20-40 mins in a lobby waiting for a game to pop is waiting for a game longer than you actually play.
-
A simple fix would have been to have Cankers like the gens of old events, each one gave the same amount to all survivors in game, they also roll over so if 5 were done in a game the next match you start with 2/3 of a vial, this way it could continue for the duration of the event even if you have finished, they could have made it 50 vials instead of the 30.
Also allow you to get all the vials needed from one side, with the lobby bug that has been going on for a couple of months making players switch sides has made that problem a lot worse, it just seems like it was very poorly thought out and we have had no communication from anyone about the killer queue concerns which is dissapointing as it makes you ask the question, do they care?
-
With the killer queues as they are a statement form the devs would be nice about exactly what is happening, is it the event? is it still the lobby bug? whatever is happening be more transparent.
If the event is causing it then they should change it to allow players to get all 60 vials by playing survivor or killer so people dont have to switch sides, I gave up on playing killer for now and will try again at the weekend, its just too much to wait in a lobby for such a long time when I just want to play a game.
Having done the survivor vials and not being able to participate anymore has also put me off playing survivior for now, I can play an offering but I cant help anyone while in game like in the past events, half the games they want to farm which is fine for those still needing them but it means I end up doing do most of the gens alone without the fear of being caught.
-
The devs need to look at each map seperately, everytime they make a universal change some maps get screwed while others don't change much at all.
-
I really dont know, the survivor ones dont look half as good as the killers but I will probably go one for each side, Claudette was my first P3 char so I like to have all the things on her, I think I may get the body though for her, so possibly Dwights head and body too.
The Doc, Huntress and bing bong skins are all really cool, Bing Bong being the best imo, I dont play him though so its a bit of a dilema but I will probably get the Huntress or Doc's.
-
One thing is to not use 5.1 or 7.1 as it makes the surrounding sounds louder and the footsteps, breathing etc are more quiet, do a test yourself with the Huntress in the lobby, her breathing is a lot clearer when the muisc kicks in with surround off.

Thank you @not_Queen
One little thing which I know you are currently working on, the killer queue times are making people disheartened to try and get the killer vials.
I propose the following solutions, allow killers to get 1/3 of a vial per hook and also 2 vials per match so the queues go back to normal quicker.
The other is to allow survivors to keep collecting the serum once the vials are completed, it prolongs the game for killers to get more hooks and it could be done in such a way as to share half of what you earn to the other players still needing vials making it more of a community event as the survivors who have completed the event just want to play an offering for the extra bloodpoints. -
The ones that play a lot are done with the event so went back to playing normal.
-
No, they already have enough places to get income with the DLC and cosmetic shop, I support them with each new content release.
Money is not the issue with dedicated servers its the recoding of the game and those areas with low population could have constant high pings as no company will pay for servers in a low pop thsoe areas.
-
I have never ran DS in the game in a few hundred hours of play, in the event I'd get a little chase from the killer but I would go down quick, I did have a hag dribble me twice as I never struggle when events are on and they obviously for some reason thought I had DS even though they werent runnning obsession perks.
I had a lot of killers who nodded to me on the hook afterwards, the thing that happened is I was rarely tunnelled maybe twice over getting my 30 vials and only camped once but I did die quite a lot, I never struggled even on death hook, I just let them get the hooks they needed, its nice to be nice when an event is on.
-
It does need a rework, maybe make it so you can still do the vials but those who dont have it get the progress split between them, that means you can still get the 4k BP if no one needs them and you aren't taking away there serum.
-
They are all original characters so the first ones a lot of people levelled up, they also have between them Self Care, Botany, Empathy, Sprint Burst, Quick and Quiet, Adrenaline, Bond and leader.
-
I think you should have the token granted if someone dc's when you have bbq equipped.
Also one gen should pop if more than 3 of them are left if 2 survivors are alive after the dc, if 3 are alive one pops but only 4 gens or more are left to do, to compensate give the killer the points the survivor earned so far and remove 15k from the survivors bloodpoints they currently have.
