He is ugly and probably most annoying killer in game. And he is not even strong.

@topic absolutely. Try out some new things early and extra bp. Why wouldn't you?

Well then survivors will have less resources, more deadzones. That’s actually a win for the killer.
Until they gen rush because they know resources will be used early. I mean real gen rush. Where every lobby brings the best toolboxes they can every game.
-
@topic this is just ridiculous. You're going to say the have no skill, yet a skill speed boost gave them a 2 gen run? But hey sure, why not, we'll go with your logic. Guess what happens if the removed DH. People will just play in a safer manner and pre-drop every pallet.

Cool. So another way to buff survivors and make playing killer even more aweful. Limiting options kills have. In a pool of already limited options other then suck it up. Or take Cotes advice and go play something else.
At end game or survivors swarming the hook face camping is perfectly understandable. The rest of the time it's just a miserable strategy. That said there are also survivor things that need tweaks as well.

I have four survivors I use. Ace, Dwight, Feng, and Claudette. I'll switch between them depending on my mood.

Cause Tombstone Piece shouldn't exist. I'm all for making Piggy more lethal, but not like that.

I've played a few matches as her today and still am having so much fun with her. I win most games but I've 2k'ed a few because you just can't win them all. I still don't understand the sentiment that Spirit isn't good anymore.
I'm still very sad that I see her so rarely as survivor because the majority of the Spirit main community just quit. Just wish people would listen to me when I say that she's still good. Props to my 4 fellow Spirit enjoyers that stuck with her though!

Because most Spirit players weren't good. Now they actually need to put some effort in. Naturally they bailed after that.

Id like it to be changed to be a more proactive perk, such as gaining undetectable after hooking or breaking pallets/walls/gens
I actually suggested the undetectable after hooking sometime ago.

Pure projection. That's all your type ever has, I laid out why the event wasn't fun for Killer as clearly as feasibly possible and STILL your response is "lol don't play then EZ"
If this event was bad for Survivor you'd be the one on the forums rightfully complaining. You have nothing and you've said nothing, it's a bad poorly thought out event that you ONLY defend because it benefits you.
You're so typical, just like all the other disingenuous excuses on this post.
I play both sides. So how has it benefited me? As for me telling you not to play, what else do you expect? There's not going to be some rapid radical change to the event. So if you're not enjoying it the obvious answer is not to play in it. If I'm not having fun with a game, I take a break from it. Why this is so hard for you to grasp is a mystery.

Shut up. You're a child who tolerates garbage because it benefits you. An event that gives Survivors a free health state and Killers get NOTHING is NOT a good event.
The shills for these Devs are such amateurs, so much verbal garbage.
Yeah, I'm the child. I totally threw a massive tantrum because I didn't like an event. Let me clue you in on something skippy. If I think the devs messed up, I tell them. If I think they did good, I tell them. Pretty simple really.
You don't like the event, no problem. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. Did you offer constructive criticism? No, you just stomped your feet and whined like a toddler.
Frankly I'm sick of the constant bitching around here. Killers act like everything in the game is against them. Their endless whining is just pathetic anymore. Not that survivors are guilt free either.
So, I'll say again, if you're unhappy don't play.

Why do you tolerate such mediocrity? So many excuses for a blatantly poor decision, it's like the Devs have hired lap dogs who come barking every time they do something stupid to defend them.
Here's a thought, I'd bet the farm your logic wouldn't be the same if SURVIVORS were having a harder time against Killers.
But you'll deny that, your type ALWAYS does. Always.
The devs tried to deliver something silly and fun. Is it perfect? Obviously not. The fact so many people are enjoying it should tell you something though. Maybe go play Civ 5 for a while.
-
And this would have been no different if they went to a loop instead of hopping into a snowman.
-
@SonicOffline said:
Why are survivors allowed to hide inside them? Why are we giving killers YET ANOTHER THING to have to do?
You literally can't do anything when in the snowman. If you think it's another objective you've lost it.

Yeah i just did. You get the "Master of Disguise" score event with 1,500 blood points.
I did it twice. I didn't even notice the points lol. At this point All that matters is I find a snowman.

I had a niceish Wraith my first match, after he killed 2 players he let myself and the other random player do gens and leave. Think he was nice to us because while he mori'd the other two we hopped in snowmen and just started goofing around thinking we were screwed anyway and he was amused when he saw us. I ran to nearby Snowman after opening exit gate and was worried time would run out because I was moving so slow. The Wraith just stood there watching me. 😂 I'm just happy I escaped once in a Snowman. I'm disappointed it explodes when you exit like when you jump out in game, I really wanted to watch the snowman slowly move away from the match. 😂

The true challenge, I just want to see a snowman walkin 'round but I can't play till the 17th because exams
I was making for the exit inside one earlier. Sadly I didn't make it with the Snowman.
-
@bm33 said:
Yes. They are too much fun to goof around in instead of actually playing the game. 😂
My only goal is to escape inside one.
Scratch that, I have a second goal. Get a killer to play along as though they don't see the Snowman moving.
-
Obviously the entire goal is to escape in the snowman.
-
They did it because people lost earned cosmetics and they couldn't tell who had them. They decided to just give them to everyone. Which was the best solution really.

The tunable parameters that the devs gave themselves for boons are a large contributor to why CoH is such a nightmare. i.e., the radius, time taken, restriction on booning (that is, none), who benefits, etc. are all currently shared by all boons. The only variable is currently the healing speed in CoH (plus providing self-care), which... isn't much to work with to rebalance it.
Oh, and the ancillary problem of all totems being in even more too-obvious places everyone can get to.
I have to disagree. The obvious step is making CoH selfcare limited use. Cap it a two or three uses. It would still be strong, but more manageable.

Running Kindred wouldn't suddenly make Randoms competent though it'll just make them efficient. They could still go down in 10 seconds in a chase, etc and Kindred wouldn't change the fact that they're still dumb. Plus if you're using Kindred it means you go down pretty often unless you're using Kindred to get an idea on what you should in conjunction with your teammates like Should I do generator or do I go for save? then that's fair enough.
I do find this one rule that helps you win a game. Just drag the killer away from objectives getting worked on It helps a lot really if you're working on this mindset I would say Bond is better so you'll get an idea to stay away from your teammates working on a generator.
I use it to tell me where the killer is headed and to determine if I need to go for the save. I couldn't really say if the others find it helpful when I'm on the hook.

Critically about what? I play both sides equally. SWF aren't the problem again the game is inherently is broken is the problem.
You don't need coordinated nonsense to just hold M1 as soon as the match starts. Only reason three gens aren't popping is Random usually do stupid things like go for flash light fails, etc. Sounds like an individual problem.
You don't need perfect coordination. You do need your team to be competent though. If you could rely on teammates to be competent you'd actually never need Kindred. I run it all the time because my teammates usually aren't competent.

Yeah about that tweak thing, the next time they´ll check on him would be by late 2023. At least when you compare it to past rework schedules, that took 2 years.
So don´t get your hopes up.
Personally I despise him. So it won't break my heart if he stays as is. However I don't want him to suck to play simply because I don't like him.

Your problem is with the bloodweb then. I've suggested they let us ban 1 or 2 things from showing up in the bloodweb for each character.
No, my problem is with making an item useless. Keys do nothing without addons. The green maps are useless without addons. So, no I don't want another useless item.

@[Deleted User] said:
Medkits should definitely be dialed back. They become really problematic when multiple survivors have the ability to heal themselves multiple times over the course of a trial. You're saving ~20% of a gen every time someone can self-heal at normal speed and someone who would be healing is working on a gen the entire time. It also (in theory) allows survivors to spread out more easily.
I think a charge cap at 16 charges would be good, and any speed increases reduces charges.
So you want to make them completely useless. Like bloodwebs aren't already full of enough trash as it is..

Just cap the healing speeds so people can't heal themselves in 5 seconds. That's the main issue at hand. With the boons + medkits + add ons + healing speed perks the fastest heal is what 3 seconds?
You mean the most extreme example possible? One where you burn every perk slot to make it happen?
-
They nerfed Slinger because he sucked to face. Personally I think they over did it and will hopefully tweak him so he is better to play as.
-
Okay, bye.
-
Okay, bye.
-
What? A medkit takes 16 seconds for self healing. The only exception is a green medkit.

This is what you get when bhvr nerfs killers for no reason. Seriously, was anyone complaining about Billy being OP? This forum is full of whiners but I don't think Billy was on the radar when you had Nurse and Spirit.
A few people complained about him, but it was pretty rare. Honestly his nerfs aren't nearly as big of a deal compared to his animations being unplayable.
-
I was about to say since when. Then I saw the in your opinion part.

@SunsetSherbet said:
People still don't want killers buffed though. I honestly think if push came to shove, most players would prefer 20 minute to 1 hour long queues over every killer actually being strong and competitive. I saw one guy elsewhere complaining about it and was adamant there should be more nerfs for killer, not buffs, and the correct solution would be to put in a "survivor coin" system where you get "survivor coins" for playing killer and can use them to play survivor. No coins=no survivor for you lmao.
Just funny the lengths some people will go. "I want this solved but I don't actually want to do anything to help solve it."
Also my survivor queues are still 6 minutes
If you think strength matters to survivors you're way off. Old Billy was probably the most universally liked killer and was second only to Nurse for years.

So many people claiming you have to tunnel to win. If you have to tunnel to win you're either bad, or outmatched. I'm not saying you have to two hook before killing someone, but you hardly need to tunnel either.
As for the OP's example, yeah that's on your teammates. You can't blame the killer for taking advantage of their bad plays. Personally I prefer to punish the idiot who made the bad play instead of the victim of it. Unfortunately you can't expect everyone to do that.
-
@OhAnotherKai said:
Or better yet we shouldn't get punished for letting survivors heal period. I know the points lost are minimal but that's stuff has cost me a couple pips as well which sucks when you're going for adept.
Agreed. Never understood the idea behind this.

All these newbie players coming in trying to change a legendary character and playstyle, facecamping Bubbas been in this game probably longer than you so if you dont like it bolt.
That is a really stupid argument. Insta heals were in the game for years. Does that mean they should have stayed? I swear, the shear amount of woe is me bullshit killer mains bust out anymore is getting old fast.
-
The larger issue to me is many maps are simply too big. Shrink those first, then see what buffs certain killers might need.
-
There was a massive outcry at the time of his nerf. I'm not optimistic about his chances.
-
So you want flashlights to be completely useless because you don't know how look at a wall or bait the flashlight user. Sorry, but git gud is actually the appropriate response here.
-
Honestly it's probably fine as is. It's a nice training wheels perk. Maybe up the starting tokens, but otherwise I'd say it's good.
-
@ShinobuSK said:
You guys think that scourge hook perk gets to live servers untouched? If so I will certainly use it on some killers.
And pop is not to my taste tbh, I hate kicking gens
There's really no reason it shouldn't. It's not OP by any means. Hell if every hook on the map was effected it still wouldn't be OP.
