Yeah but...all 5 of them? I have not once seen all 5 totems become blessed in a match. More often than not, they come back to the spots they already know.
How often did Undying actually get Ruin (bc let's be honest what else did people use old Undying with?) through every totem without getting broken? being a Hex itself they could very well get lucky and find Undying first anyways.

Unlink every original characters outfits, there's literally no reason for them to be linked apart from being a bigger cash grab.
Unless they're very clearly a one piece thing eg. Robbie the Rabbit Legion.
-
Never been a fan of playing as or against Doc, what's the appeal in walking around a loop and continually shocking and shocking and shocking until eventually he either catches up and hits you or you pre-drop and run to a new loop?

Because y’all always go and call us out for Jflicking (patched), using macros (pretty much useless), hug teching (still not removed so it’s a feature) and lag flicking (a cheat that barely anyone uses, but a cheat regardless). Even using blight as he’s intended to be used gets me called out, like come on seriously ?
Cheating ? Yeah maybe 1% of the Blight’s player base actually uses lag flicks.
Exploiting ? Both sides have exploits (hug techs, window techs, etc) and since none of them were patched it means that they are considered to be features.
Tunneling ? That’s the best strategy if you want to win as killer, so there’s nothing you can do to punish people for that, other than running DS
Even using Blight as he's intended gets me called out, like come on seriously ?
The Blight hate is real.
Got called a tryhard the other day for not running slowdown perks the other day, they just can't stand that we can use skill to beat them without relying on meta perks.

Now this is the kinda ######### you love to see on the forums, happy holidays!
-
Buddy if you're lookin for some survivor gazongas then r/dbdgonewild has you covered.
or maybe r/dbdgonegay if that's your thing.
-
*jaw drops to floor, eyes pop out of sockets accompanied by trumpets, heart beats out of chest, awooga awooga sound effect, pulls chain on train whistle that has appeared next to head as steam blows out, slams fists on table, rattling any plates, bowls or silverware, whistles loudly, fireworks shoot from top of head, pants loudly as tongue hangs out of mouth, wipes comically large bead of sweat from forehead, clears throat, straightens tie, combs hair* Ahem, you look very lovely.
-
Unfortunately no, played on it just yesterday.
Though I really wish it was.

Yeah it’s beginning to feel like the devs have an outright hatred for twins at this point. Which is sad because they have potential to be great
Honestly Twins have a really interesting power with so much potential to be strong with a high skill ceiling, it's such a shame to see them in such a terrible spot in basically every sense, hated by survivors because unfortunately their best playstyle is slugging, and the least popular killer because they're buggy, countered easily, etc etc.
-
God it somehow just keeps getting worse for The Twins, almost feels like they're doing this on purpose at this point.
-
As much as I like The Twin's current power, I feel like the only way to get them in a position where they're popular and fun to play is a complete rework.
If Twins wasn't so unpopular and currently gutted by CoH, survivors would complain about them probably more than pre-nerf spirit and Deathslinger.
-
I actually like both but coffee has helped carried me through so much ######### so it's got my vote

What even is a Lagflick? I have not gone against a Blight in a long time
I'm not 100% certain how it works (worked ig) so I won't try explaining it, but imagine j-flicks on steroids, instant 180 turns in the middle of a rush.
-
Thank god, filthy lag flickers tarnishing Blight's good reputation.
-
Sound design aside, don't even get me started on collision.
The map is beautiful but good god does it suck in basically every other aspect.

Pphead's nerf(?) was good, since he could no longer just follow you until you either drop a pallet to get hit by M2, or run through to get hit by M1. Basically they gave survivors more counterplay, removed lose/lose situations, while actually buffing him in other part.
And by contrast, trapping a survivor at a loop and spamming Punishment until you hit them is more fun for both sides?
-
Stinky.
-
Best thing I've found to do with this game is to just skip to the last stage of grief and accept that the game is unbalanced and dogshit, I sparingly run gen regression on most killers nowadays in favour of more fun perks, it's alot easier to deal with a loss when you've got basically no gen regression perks.
If the gens are slow enough to handle, then you can have some fun and win. If they're going too fast to manage, then damn, start playing for points and maybe try to get some cool plays. At the end of the day, you either played well and won, or it was out of your hands and there was nothing you could possibly do, such is the way of the killer main.
-
Last blatant cheater I got was months ago, but only god knows how many subtle cheaters I've gone against since then, I've only picked up on one last night on a Nea who double dead harded.
-
There's so many annoying little issues with collision for Blight on that map, the outer walls are slippery, shack is as dry as the old maps, the tiniest little twigs sticking out of the ground seem to have the same hitbox as Badham bushes, I don't even want to get started on the main building.
-
I think my whole shtick on the forums at this point is just that I'm a Blight guy.
So yeah, Blight.
-
I just got her to 50 and stopped there, but fortunately I think I pulled together a decent enough build to use for a while.
Hex: Pentimento
Hex: Plaything
Scourge Hook: Pain Resonance
Scourge Hook: Gift of Pain
-
It looks pretty, but gameplay wise it kinda sucks.
-
sex mod legalised
-
Occasionally I'll throw on Ormond if I feel like exclusively going for cool slide hits.
-
It's really sad to see the state of The Twins because when things go well they're really fun to play but it's so rare to not run into some kind of game-breaking big and promptly lose because of it.
I'm convinced it's a Nurse case where they don't know how to make reasonable balancing decisions so they choose to just let the bugs balance it for them.

It's even worse when combo'ed with CoH or Soulguard. But yeah i agree, completely overlooked. Possible bandaid fix is to allow Victor to break or latch onto totems.
Victor should totally be able to snuff boons, he's the perfect size to smash the ######### out of them
-
My condolences to the few Twins mains out there, I'm a little glad I drifted away from Twins before boons happened otherwise I'd be more upset about it all.

Actually, my queue times are pretty good as long as I leave cross play off and don't have to deal with console players.
Overcome is not that big of a deal. Killers on this forum like to scream that any perk more useful than useless is the end of the world and bad for the game. I could make similar claims for several killers themselves being bad for the game.
I'm surprised it's taken me this long to finally meet a survivor main this entitled and holds the ######### mindset of "pc players > console players".

Skill-based?
It activates when you get injured, what is there about skill?
That's what the /s is for, it means I'm being sarcastic.

And yet, it'll be used more than most exhaustion perks because it's more controllable. Lithe and Balanced either cause you to go out of your way to avoid using them needlessly or you end up wasting them. Sprint burst most of the time requires you to walk... Or waste it. The only other perks that are more in your control are Headon, which is unreliable with how laggy the servers are, and dead hard which... Same as above.
Always getting your exhaustion perk to work when it's useful is the main reason this perk will be run. I know it was my first thought when I saw it. Yay, one that's reliable!
It'll be used more than most exhaustion perks because it's more controllable.
You mean because it requires you to not think about it and just focus on running as far away as possible without looping?
-
- Don't allow BHVR to ever touch Blight again, maybe nerf Alchemist Ring a bit but still allow them to remove unfair exploits like lag flicks.
- Revert Freddy to his original power because in his current state, he basically just doesnt exist.
- Buff Michael up to atleast High B Tier, don't care how, just get him up there, he's Michael Goddamn Myers and he deserves to be considered a threat.
-
Yep, Overcome is definitely one of the more skill-based and interactive survivor perks in the game, top notch work as always!
/s
-
Survivors abuse aim-dressing to cause hits to miss more often than it actually helps, so I'd love to see it gone.
-
If there does end up being a new kind of event, I wouldn't hold high (or even mid) expectations for it considering how last year's events went.
Actually now that I think about it, did we even have a Halloween event this year?
Edit: we did, it was just that forgettable.

@WishIcouldmain said:
Can work well since even if survivors prefer to boom it they’re wasting a huge amount of time blessing instead of cleansing
They're only spending 10 extra seconds blessing instead of cleansing.
Also I don't think you can say they're "wasting time" by blessing a totem with Circle of Healing.

Personally, I think that Father Gascgoine would fit DBD best (Only souls game I've played extensively is Bloodborne). Orphan of Kos could work, but I can't say for certain that they'd fit. Truth be told, I accidentally went into new game + before I could complete the DLC. I never actually got the chance to fight the Orphan of Kos, lol.
Father G would definitely fit really well. I feel like he'd be a Power Burst type killer like Michael and Oni where he can turn into a Beast for a limited time.
-
I'm not even gonna bother explaining it to you considering how you just ignore any kind of argument or criticism you get.

na they are so productive at finding exploits and different ways to use his power
You have literally said multiple times in this very thread that j flicking and lag flicking are not exploits.

What? No.

for me its a tie between soul of cinder, artorias, and abyss watchers, with an honorable mention to gravelord nito who is a little bit on the bigger side and having all the bones he's made out of scaled down would look like he's made out of dead babies.
ultimately went with soul of cinder though just because its my favorite boss, and its power could be tied into its ability to switch weapons, gwyn's power, or with the firelinking curse.
artorias would fit the job perfectly with looks, but he does not have many options for powers that keep it friendly to dark souls. (maybe something with walking through abyss?)
the abyss watchers could be another killer to introduce ai assistants like nemesis (but ones that dont suck), with maybe 2 abyss watchers (1 player, 1 ai), but around huntress movement speed, and some charge/combo attacks to keep the power interesting
I think weapon switching could be a really cool power actually
Greatsword would be the default weapon obv, Sorcery phase could slow him down to 110 and give him some kind of ranged ability with soul spears or smth, then I've got no idea what he'd do for the Curved Sword or Spear phase lol

I get some usefulness from Lethal using Doc or Pig, where I'm trying to get hats or madness asap. It can be effective, but it's hard to tell if it's worth a perk slot. A lot of the time the survivors are on the far gen and I would have headed there anyway.
But you totally just inspired me to try Blight again. I'm off to play.
Have fun!
-
Trapper is probably my most played low-tier killer, either the game actually lasts for a while and I get some great plays and have fun, or the gens go by so fast that I'm not even bothered to just get out of it quickly and move on to the next match.

what do the crows even do, then?
if they don't do anything, what's the point? also, why reduce her speed like that?
It's a joke about how they might completely gut her on release because she's strong on the PTB.
-
It always sucks having to tunnel out the weak link because as you said, they usually aren't the one being toxic, but it's a necessary evil to take some of the load off a tough match.
And ya know, the toxic swf usually runs the usual DS, BT, Unbreakable etc so tunneling and camping them isn't always a viable tactic.
-
I wouldn't bother, The Twins weren't the most fun killers anyways before CoH but now they're both kinda unfun and heavily deterred by CoH.

@landromat said:
Every blight main will protect his "techs"
They're biased
Every single blight tech should be removed. No flicks, no hugs no moonrushes no nothing. You just bump into a wall and then bump into another and try to get survivor like you're playing on controller. This is not even a discussion
I don't think I've ever read such a boring comment on these forums since the day I joined.
And what do you mean "like you're playing on controller"? Acting like it's pre-4.7.1 where console Blight was actually what you described and was terribly unfun and unpopular and his power was only used for traversal.
-
I'm pretty excited for The Artist, but what I'm not excited about is that new exhaustion perk, I think it's gonna be a real pain in the ass for M1 killers.
Might have to start running Alchemist Ring more often to deal with it.
-
You're gonna have to elaborate on what you mean by "macros and techs".
If it's lag flicks we're talking about, those absolutely have to go it is completely unintended and unfair as hell.
Hug techs on the other hand I believe are just another part of the killer that requires skill and understanding of environment collision but still has counterplay (most of the time), if bhvr wanted hug tech fully gone then they'd have done it by now because it's been a thing for months and months, and it's certainly not an obscure thing because it's one of Blight's most well known tricks.
And as for Alchemist Ring, as much as I hate to say it, it really does need a nerf.
