For the same reason killers hate having 5 gens done in 5 minutes and no hooks its almost like you didn't get to play. But it is a pvp game after all lol
Yeah, people have the right to get frustrated.

Your teammates failed to protect the unhook.
They asked for the reason why people hate tunneling, not the circumstances in which tunneling happens.
-
He's in my "I don't mind them" section. (if it's a regular tier player) Not as oppresive as Nurse and not as frustrating as Twins, so rare in my region that he's almost forgettable. Playing as him is a lot of fun.
-
Oh my, good idea lol
-
Being tunneled is frustrating, annoying and boring
-
It's still way too early for anyone to judge how well this new system works, all I can say is my experience hasn't been as negative as some of the other people here. I like the ranks being covered up though, wouldn't mind if that stayed.
-
I don't know how I'd feel about the FNAF and DBD fandoms coming together.
-
Too oppressive, honestly uncounterable.
-
Ignoring variables that can tilt the game in your favor or otherwise such as maps and killer powers and depending on what your win condition is, yes, it's completely possible to not be a dick and still win the game. I voted 'yes' because it's possible to win most games and the game seldom screws you over enough to make you lose because of something that isn't your own fault. My win condition is pipping, and I win almost every match.

The devs have constantly stated that they don't believe in exclusivity and that there's a chance everything will be obtainable at some point in the future.
Except Legacy, for some reason that's the thing that they can be hypocrites with
There's a considerable difference in how difficult it was to obtain legacy compared to every other "exclusive" cosmetic. The exception to this would maybe be event attendance exclusives such as the golden Feng but these were being sold at abusive prices so it's understandable why they gave them away, there's just no reason for legacy to be made available for people who weren't there or didn't put in the effort to grind and get it.

Me, they DC more often too.

People already lost their ######### over a kpop idol being added into the game, imagine an anime girl

Not going out of my way to look for an immersed survivor when there's 3 other easy targets jumping in my face. If there's an opportunity for me to chase them I will but I'm not throwing the rest of the game for it. If they get hatch they get hatch, they're probably gonna get nothing for points and I still count 3ks as wins.

Hmm...
- A diminuição do raio máximo da sombra pra algo como 6 metros *no máximo* (3 estados de gancho);
- A adição de uma cooldown considerável para ambas a habilidade que causa dano e a habilidade de atravessar pallets e janelas do killer para que ataques básicos não fiquem obsoletos e a meta atual (loop) não seja totalmente ignorada OU
- Diminuição considerável da velocidade de movimento do killer;
- Perk "Solidão": Adicionar um requisito a ser cumprido antes de a perk entrar em funcionamento, como um sistema de stacks que aumentam o tempo pelo qual a saída é bloqueada. Exemplos: Atacar a obsessão te dá um stack, logo a saída é bloqueada pro 10 segundos, 15 por 2 stacks... E assim vai;

Twins, Nemesis, Deathslinger. Every other killer is honestly fine in my current opinion.

Great perk, it's kinda sad items don't disappear anymore

Please remove us. I disliked playing with consoles from the beginning, now that they're teleporting everywhere it's even worse. Can't turn crossplay off either because there are no South American servers so I have to choose between others being laggy or me being laggy.
-
It gets reset after the match is over so it's essentialy patched, yeah

It isn't and nobody who claims it is is serious

I would say i would strongly oppose them adding a blatantly homo/transphobic franchise to the game while still fumbling over the writers messing up their whole leave everyone's orientations/gender identity vague plan because they couldn't contain their heteronormativity, and after releasing trickster who has so many shades of the "this guy is effeminate so he could be gay and that's scary!"
Say sike right now

Oh boy I'm glad I could be here for your 400th post about how much you hate Blights and the builds they choose to use. Keep them coming.
-
Addon rework at most. Most problematic thing I can think about her are Kavanagh and Fragile Wheeze. Besides that people should really just get good.
-
Would love to see this but it's very unlikely unfortunately. Some higher ups seem to be very stubborn.
-
As survivor definitely not. Clueless teammates can be very tilting and bad killers aren't a whole lot of fun to go against. I do miss my chill yellow/green rank killer games though.

It's a pvp game where both sides are trying to deny the opposing side from being able to complete their goal. You will have games where you get outmatched and feel powerless. Just move on to the next game. DBD isn't a game where you play one match and that's it.
Yes, we agree on that. People who get upset over strategies such as tunneling should really refrain from playing survivor or even DBD in general. Not because it's unfair or scummy, but because it can be frustrating and some don't know how to deal with it. You see, I'm explaining why there are people who complain about tunneling, which is the question OP made. I don't really agree with the sentiment that killers should follow the survivor rulebook or whatever, I'm just trying to explain people's logic behind getting mad and why I think these reactions are justified.

Because the complaint that you are being prevented from playing the game is just false. Being on a hook is a part of gameplay. Being chased is gameplay. Doing gens is gameplay.
The only way a killer stops you from playing game is by finally killing you, which is the killer's objective.
All these complaints about tunneling, camping, and slugging (that really exploded lately) are getting very annoying. Because it's becoming really apparent the only issue is that survivors don't like not getting handed escapes.
Be like that. A survivor getting tunneled for any reason can indeed perform actions such as press wasd to move as a slug or m1 to wave their arms on hook. That's gameplay alright, and gee what a blast it is.
There's situations in which both sides are rendered basically powerless. We all play this game to have fun and that's such a subjective concept that it's not even worth discussing - but it's a given that having your gameplay limited (notice how I'm not saying stopped or ruined) by something you have little to no control over never feels good. Though I think people who get offended over teabagging and flashlight clicking need to grow thicker skin I do recognize there are things killers have to deal with that are genuinely aggravating such as keys, brand new parts and map/hatch offerings, in which case I think tunneling someone is completely justified. Complaints are just a natural part of playing the game how you wanna play and I can't help but think it's silly to care about it.

I've taken many killers for long chases immediately after being unhooked. I may have died in the end, but the rest of teammates did escape. If you are having an issue where you are getting down immediately from being unhooked then it would be an issue of your teammates doing unsafe unhooks (and not having BT) or you just not being good at leading the killer on chases.
Neither are an issue that requires changes to be made to killer.
That's why I didn't suggest any changes to be made to killer. Can we please just acknowledge this is frustrating to deal with and move on?

Let's say you get hooked, then unhooked, then hooked again, then unhooked, and hooked again.
You have the same amount of chases as you would if the killer were to go after someone else inbetween those hooks.
Survivors love to complain about strong chase killers, because "chases are fun". But somehow being chased by the killer the entire game is also "unfun".
So there's chase and chase interaction. You can technically claim tunneling somebody straight off the hook is "chasing" them because you are awarded chase points after you down them. But what input did the survivor have? They didn't get to loop, they got virtually no points from it and they know you're gonna do the same thing once they get unhooked again. Standing still the whole game would achieve the same amount of interaction. That's not fun.
"Strong chase killers" are too off topic for this discussion but suffice it to say it's all about how much people get to play the game and have equal opportunities to outplay each other. Wanna tunnel? Knock yourself out, just don't be surprised if people are less than ecstatic in the post game chat.

Being on a hook or slugged is a part of survivor gameplay. You are basically complaining that you don't like survivor gameplay and that's somehow an issue of the killers.
Not to method chases are the "fun" part of the game and if you are being tunneled you are experiencing only chases.
Nobody is complaining about being hooked, the topic is tunneling which doesn't necessarily correlate. Plus there's not gonna be much chase interaction if you're tunneled straight off the hook without having time to get anywhere. Not saying killers can't do this but it's kinda lame for them to question why this annoys survivors.

so is gen rushing t bagging and clicking
In what capacity do these stop you from playing the game whatsoever?
-
Well for starters some people like to be able to play the game and are understandably annoyed when that right is taken away from them, strategy or not.
-
Camping is fine at any point the killer deems appropriate
-
Yeah I will redown people who force bt hits just out of spite. Want my attention? Here you have it, hope you enjoy your next minute on the ground.
-
For some regions like EU and NA this might work. As an SA player I think there would be too much of a language barrier between portuguese and spanish speakers for example for this to be useful. Something similar might happen in Asia, though I think access to english there is easier.
-
I wanna go back to playing killer and not having people throw the game for wglf stacks so no thanks.
-
let them
-
Being rank 1 killer I notice the later in the night it is, the higher the likelyhood of me getting more diverse ranks, mostly green though I do get matched against yellows every now and then. During daytime things are mostly fine (by that I mean the worst that can happen is me getting 4 purple ranks).
-
It really doesn't

Doc does not deserve this.

If they could save what people had before, they wouldnt have given 100M bloodpoints back in 2017 instead of backing up the old data, same still goes on today but apparently we need to save proofs 24/7
yeah back in 2017 people had to back up their own data in their pcs, it's not like that anymore, it's all server side.

What did you not understand? Are you trying to be an ass? Some people have had all their characters reset to level 1 because of a bug and BHVR doesn’t have the data to know which characters you levelled up.
Afaik they keep track of everything, from items on the inventory to prestige levels on individual characters and the total amount of bloodpoints earned for each account. How else would they ban people for hacking this sort of stuff. There's also no way for us to backup our save files like back in the day either so it'd be pretty dumb if they didn't have something for the eventuality of this happening.
-
Hope they try to fix this soon. Really makes playing nurse unnecessarily frustrating.
-
I don't feel like it should

Right?! What happened? I miss the 150-200k per match :(
-
no

Not until changes go live

Doesn't the match still go on if a survivor dc's tho? Just farm or kill them all
