Would be nice to get emotes, but killers don't need emotes. It doesn't affect the gameplay at all.
-
Legion, doctor, wraith, and ghostface.
I'm a person that loves to control everything. So legion and doctor are perfect for that, they have quite good map control, because they always know where people are.
Also, I love stealth killers, and wraith and ghostface are also so fun to me.

That is how it should be working obviously there could be a bug lately given that I haven't tested Legion Pin in a few patches now. You'll see Broken directly on their portrait at the bottom left - if it isn't working as intended then submit a bug report with recorded footage.
Example of it here in this chase
So it should be applied directly yep (it's funny because I already saw that Otz video).
Idk, maybe it's me, but sometimes in my games today I didn't apply the effect after the second hit. Maybe I'm crazy or something.
Anyways I'll test it and if it keep failing, I'll submit a bug report.

You must be using your power and hit someone who is already in deep wounds to activate the pin's effect and cancel your power (it gives them the slight movement speed boost in exchange for it). It should not activate on first hit to every single survivor hit from healthy state while you're running around because that addon would be massively broken if it worked like that,
Edit: This was technically changed since the original Legion concept in PTB when deep wounds mechanic was different than it is now and the power itself was much stronger and less punishing than it is now - while the wording in the text may seem unclear the one on the wiki is a bit more accurate
Basically the Smiley Face Pin Brown addon (Blind for 60s) is a stretch usefulness that you won't be able to see most of the time. The Defaced Smiley yellow addon is a POOR man's replacement for Sloppy Butcher Perk and shouldn't see use it because 60s Mangled isn't really worth the slot nor effort
The Legion Pin that gives 60 seconds of Broken is the only usable one to prevent instant heals including For the People Perk and Septics (If you see 4 Med kits in lobby - consider bringing it).
So let's say I double hit a survivor while feral frenzy is activated. After the 2nd hit, the legion obviously goes into the cooldown.
Then, that survivor would be afflicted with broken status effect right?

Same, I’ll just buy the chapter but I can tell that he’s not my type of play style.
He's actually my type of playstyle because I love legion a lot, and he's just another legion.
But THAT is why I'm pissed about this killer. They just copy pasted legion and created another game model, that's it.
-
Ooooh yes, the classic NOED complaint.
-
Was his power reworked?
If not, I'll just buy him, unlock his teachables, and not ever touch him again.

I usually let my Killer Instinct find survivors.
But obviously understand why Shadowborn would be a solid pick.
I don't run shadowborn to "find survivors", that's obviously quite easy by Killer instinct.
I run it because as I said in my post, during feral frenzy, sometimes survivors will trick you into missing and ending your power.
With shadowborn, it's harder for them to trick me. As simple as that.

@ALostPuppy said:
Shadowborn is great for every killer, because a wider FOV is always gonna feel better, because who would've thought that having an actual FOV higher than ######### 87 degrees would be a good thing.
Also imagine tying game settings to a perk amiright?
Not for every killer tho.
For "normal" killers like wraith, clown...etc, I don't really see the need of running this perk.

@Ghoste said:
It's pretty nice QoL for Legion. I would recommend trying Monitor & Abuse as well, since it has other benefits outside of FOV.
I'll do so!
Never tried monitor on legion, but I did on deathslinger for example. Idk I'd like it...but I'll try anyways.
Because at least for deathslinger, it's soooo confusing the difference in FOV when you are in a chase and when you are not in one.
Monitor is 10 FOV, and shadowborn is 15. I know that monitor helps you with the terror radius but meh, Idk, I'll just try to see if in legion, it's confusing or not those changes in FOV.

Wanna know what the problem is with Shadowborn!
1. It doesn't really effect gameplay
2. The perk is a drug! Once you get use to it, it becomes nearly impossible to stop using the perk and it feels weird when you don't use it
It affects my gameplay at least. I'm a weird person in general, so what other stuff doesn't work for people, they work for me.
I know that perk is a "drug", but not for me. I never run it for other killers, unless I think it's really helpful due to their killer's power (legion, nurse, etc.)
I've only run shadowborn for those 2 killers in my whole life as dbd player so, I don't think I'm addicted to it lol.

@Pulsar said:
It is definitely good, and I have tried it myself a few times. The big issue is, that is it really worth running over other perks?
Personally, for me, it isn't. It is really nice to have, but it feels like more of a QoL change than something actively helping me.
That being said, feel free to use it, it may not fit into my playstyle, but don't let that stop you from trying it out!
Over time, I'll know if that perk is worth the slot for me I guess.
At least that perk fits into my playstyle: having every little detail under control, map pressure, information... (that's why I main legion and doctor for example). So this perks definitely helps for that (I don't use it for other killers tho, just for those who I think they need it like legion, nurse...etc).
-
Because it's easier to play killer in PC?
-
I know he is a strong killer and high tier, but my reason for not playing him, is that he's boring (for me).
-
Updating the prestige system.
I'm ok regarding grinding for getting the prestige 3 outfit, but not about losing all your perks+addons+offerings just because you prestige.
That's a big nonsense.

Once I wanted to do an "experiment".
If I was facing a decent survivor team, I tried to INTENTIONALLY camp and tunnel, to see how "efficient" those strategies really were.
I completely failed, and usually they all escape.
If you are facing a decent team, efficient and that actually knows how to loop, if you camp and tunnel you are just going to lose.
Maybe you are bad at looping, or your team wasn't good enough.
I almost never camp and tunnel because usually is not even worth it.
-
I was at first a bit tilted about people wanting to change moris and NOED; because well, read my name :).
But hey, after watching the ideas of this guy, I'm not. I mean, those changes make a loooot of sense, I would be fine with them.
I gotta admit that trinity is toxic for the fame in the current state.

Aight, straight boy-man-person. Greetings! I'm gonna write this once and I hope that interested people will read it, before starting to chew this misinterpreted bs again in this thread anymore for literally no reason whatsoever, bc it's tiring.
That was a joke. And I fail to get in what world it should be explained that it actually is a joke, and not an insult of any kind.
If you spend at least some time in the internet meme community, you would most likely know that the term "simp" has lost its core meaning a long time ago and since became a running meme, which is used anytime a person (literally anyone) is being nice towards a girl in any way. Literally any way. Even just saying "hi" counts. But that is the point. That is the joke. It is absurd sarcastic humor, but still a humor. And it's sad that most people see only their understanding of "humor", ignoring everything else and refusing to understand other people, before jumping to conclusions and ranting about how "wrong" those other people are. Ranting about something that isn't even there. Bruh moment indeed.
And if you actually just want to make a nice comment, without any intention of getting affection points, I don't see how you should even care at all about "simp" comment. Moreover, if it wasn't even addressed to you.

I worded that part really poorly, I should have focused on what Ghoste said, the absolute gap between red rank players' experience
I think that more ranks are needed.
20 are not enough to display the real skill of players.

It's either really bad rank system or godawful matchmaking, being red rank commonly pairs you with red ranks, i get nothing but the most infuriating things to deal with now
Wow, matchmaking system working.
Amazing.

Oh gosh, I figured there was a small chance that your second reply could have been at least a partial joke, but considering how snotty a majority of the people on this forum can be out of nowhere, I wasn't really banking on that LOL, especially since you're not even close to being the first person to have assumed I was a guy (unsurprisingly, considering it is a male dominated community! :) ) and that I was acting too sweet or warm (or "thirsty") to a woman, when in reality I'm just happy to encourage/connect with another girl in a sea of dudes LMFAO
If that's the case, my apologies for getting testy immediately, but it should be somewhat understandable on my part! I don't like to snap but every few replies like that I just go "ok THAT'S IT!" LOL
Exactly, wanting to encourage new players into the game is not "simp".
I'm male, and straight, have no girlfriend at the moment, but doesn't mean I'm "simping" just by posting a long comment to her.
This is a really toxic game when you get into its core, but also really fun and complex if you go to high levels. You can learn a lot.
I just wanted to make a nice and a little bit crafted comment to encourage this new person just that. Because not everybody is toxic in this community.

I'll take a look, thanks!😀
I like discreet killers too, he's the only killer who can counter spine chill, because he's invisible (completely invisible when he's not moving). But without perk, without addon... I don't know him well enough...
You can check this videos out if you want:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WIWn6YP3IlI https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aKpY_EACAJg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CPa0zxhF_64Regarding spine chill...I think that he doesn't counter spine chill. If you are looking in the direction of any survivor running that perk, they will notice.
Spine chill ignores the "Undetectable" status I think...
-
This is why I always give hatch to survivors who seem to be new at the game.
I also chill at the start of those games if I know that they are newbies. Don't want to discourage them.
I just want to warn you about something: you'll have to endure a looot of toxicity. But it's worth it, eventually you'll get used to it and you'll start ignoring those comments.
Regarding your "anxiety" and "nervousness" problems during the game, don't worry. At the start of the game, at low ranks, killers are stronger than survivors. Mainly because when both sides lack of experience, it's easier for killers to win, because survivors don't know how to split up, loop, evade the killer...etc.
Once you get more experience at the game, you'll no longer get anxious believe me.
DbD it's a "weird" game at the start, but give it time.
Also, always remember to keep your end game chats clear of toxicity with a gg.
Welcome to the community, if you want to ask something or you have doubts about the game, you want to just have a discussion about something...you always can come here.
See ya!

You should watch videos of tru3 playing wraith. He is good at him.

Ghost Face
Puts a finger through his mouth to shush people.
Freddy
Throws back his head and breaks his neck.
Blight
Takes out his journal and writes in it with blood coming from his severed-off hand. Edit: Alternatively he could inject himself with more juice really really gorily.
Etc. etc. 😋
The GF one is not gore tho, nor blight.

I didn't play during that time to be able to get the legacy skins.
I played when the new bloodweb came out.
In my opinion, I really don't want them to give us an option to get legacy skins. It's a lack of respect to those who played before the new bloodweb system. Legacy skins are nothing too fancy, they just glow a bit, and they are a token of being "old" at the game.
If I were one of those players, I'd feel bad because then the meaning of those skins, would be lost.
For example, I was a closed beta player in paladins. I have special skins from that time, old skins. They are ugly, now you can't get them, but I cherish them because they are special to me. They remind me those moments.
I think that the same happens with this legacy skins.
I prefer if the legacy skins are kept that way forever.

Tell me why I’ve seen killers nod their head after downing the survivor(s) from getting unhooked before proceeding to mori them? I honestly doubt that the reason the majority of these killers bring them is for the animation. I understand if you bought the chapter of the killer and you wanna see the animation but if that’s the case what’s the point of using it on a poor baby meg after her first hook? See what I mean. And this isn’t about baby killers that bring it I’m talking about High red rank killers.
As I said in my comment, some killers bring moris after a losing streak.
This means, that they are probably already tilted because they got disrespectful survivors in previous games...etc etc.
This means, that probably, they just want to make others tilt as they made with them.
I'm not saying this is wrong or right to do, it's just what happens.
But even if they bring moris for this purpose, that doesn't mean they are less skilled at the game.
I hate to use "famous" names to give examples but let's say Otz does this. Or Tru3. They use moris, and before execute people they just move their heads etc. And they mori on first hook. Are they automatically less skilled?
This is the point I'm trying to make here.
-
As a killer main I can assure that what you said is real.
Getting hate comments from survivors is pretttttyy common, more than people think.
-
You know that if you first hook mori, that is not going to change your skill at the game right?
You know this...right?? 🤔
Those concepts are simply not related.
People most likely use moris after a losing streak or just to have fun watching the mori animations.
Thinking people is just bad for moring in first hook is detrimental for you bud.
-
When you mori someone, you don't need to mori people that's behaving in a toxic way.
You just mori whoever you want in that moment.
If you were the one to get moried well, bad luck I guess.
-

I think
What's appealing about legion is he's pretty versatile perk wise since his power actually synergies with perks that would normally be meh
E.g Bloodecho it's as simple as hit a frenzy down someone hook down them.
Sure your not gonna land 4 man frenzys all the time but the 2 or 3 people that stayed injured because they coudnt get too a safe spot too heal or went "staying injured means I counter legion" are met with their dead hard going away not everyone brings exhaustion perks but a majority do.
The main point about legion that I love the most, is the fact that you have insanely strong position control. Your power is like having infectious fright the whole time.
Survivors can never sneak around and that's quite annoying for them.
Since your power gives you information, that's why legion can be actually strong.

When you mentioned "world peace" I remembered this part of Guetto Gospel song, of Tupac:

So Otzdarva got 50 wins in a row with the only conditions for winning be that he kills 3 people. The last person escaping through hatch doesn't matter. For consistency he isn't using any add-ons.
I know Otz has a ridiculous number of hours in the game. But if the guy can get 50 wins in a row with Legion of all people, against all sorts of survivors. SWF, Strong Items, the full array of Borrowed Time, Decisive Strike, Unbreakable, Dead Hard, etc.
Maybe...just maybe killers are stronger than a lot of killer mains lead you to believe. I've heard the excuses of well those survivors were just potatoes, but Otz did like 100 games. I think just maybe...people need to stop blaming the game's balance so much when they lose the occasional game as killer. Because clearly at high levels, a killer can wreck if the person playing the killer is good. I think the biggest issue isn't really that the killer is just that much weaker than survivors. It's that the killer takes a lot more time to git gud than survivor.
"the killer takes a lot more time to git gud than survivor."
There you are absolutely right.
I wanted to also remember people with this comment that hey, legion is not a bad killer.
For example my favourite killers are doctor and legion. I'm not saying this because I just love legion, but because the fact that a killer is "strong" or "weak", doesn't mean that is "strong" or "weak" in your hands also.
For example, Otz. He is a really really good trapper. If I play trapper, I completely fail at my games.
For example me, If I play spirit, which is considered to be "strong", I completely fail. Because I'm a really bad spirit.
But, I play legion and doctor and I always have better performances, because I love them, I love the gameplay, I love their powers, so that influences a lot in games.
Never get discouraged about what's "strong" or "weak".
-
Objectively, Nurse takes more skill than Spirit.
This doesn't mean that Spirit is a braindead killer. It changes your gameplay completely, and you have to get used to that.
