Timing would fit, but we all know the grinch isn't in any way, scary. Unless it's a fear of becoming him. He would be fun at first but hed become a joke immediately after the season.

    He's the new Freddy bahahahaa

  • I tossed my Awesomes across the board but sadly unlike @Orion I've only got 417 but at least I've got plenty of LOLS.

  • Oh cmon now we all know who the next licensed killer is going to be for this map.

  • @PixelatedDom

Your arguments have gone from no counter and finally after many iterations evolved to I shouldn't have to run this a perk to counter her addon. You were given information constantly yet kept changing your argument to counter the information given.

Now to show you how foolish your argument really is with something you can't move the goalpost so to speak again. We know for a fact that a killers terror radius is 32 meters and if you see them out side that you know where they are.

Your complain is you can't see her coming which is completely false since you can see her beyond her phasing distance when she's in the open. So you then complain you can't see her through a wall, but there's 2 perks that counter her and every other killer.

So now we get to where your argument is completely false and without premise due to the 32 meter terror radius. You can't hear her phasing sounds if you're outside her 32 meter terror radius. Whether she's using Prayer Beads or not and even if they had sound if you're outside the radius no sound.

So whether she runs it or not if you're outside her terror radius you can't hear her coming and you still get grabbed without ever knowing she's coming. Now to further show the fallacy of your argument there's this fact.

IF the Spirit is using Monitor and Abuse her terror radius is a mere 24 meters when not in a chase meaning outside that 24 meters you can't hear her phasing sound. Which means she can sneak up on you and grab you off a gen because you can't see or hear her coming.

That's without using the Prayer Bead addon you're complaining so vociferously about and the facts are the same you can't see her coming. So whether she uses the addon or not you're still going to get grabbed by a Spirit because you refuse to adapt.

If she decides to run Tinkerer and or M&A together well guess what that tunnel vision on the gen means she now has no terror radius. She can phase 5 meters away from you and you'd never know she was there because you refuse to adapt.

You'd still end up getting grabbed off that gen but then your complaint would have to evolve to nerf/remove Tinkerer/M&A. I've grabbed people off gens without using Prayer Beds just by using movement speed addons and phasing outside the terror radius.

I've also used Tinkerer combined with other perks for a jumpscare build and never used Prayer Beads and still pulled people off gens. Like you they complained it was op until I told them the ways to counter it like using the 2 perks, paying attention to grass.

Like not jumping right on a gen at start until you find out who the killer is, changing your facing on a gen to one not so easily grabbed. But unlike you they took the advice and ran with it and saw the logic behind it and in follow up matches they did much better.

I've now shown you how specious your argument is and how despite it's ever evolving nature it's still invalid, you can keep denying the facts or accept them.

Unfortunately, it's not bugged. It's one of the reasons why I pretty much stopped playing Nurse.

Yeah I hate that map as Nurse and Pig but normally I don't get it so much but this is just plain evil. I'm down to only needing 141 Blink hits to completely finish her off. I did get a huge laugh a lvl 8 was carrying a lvl 13 and 2 17's and called me trash because i was having hard time on Barn map.

New lobby loads and it's him so I chose Spirit and he did Yamoka Estates as offering thinking i'd be going nurse again. I destroyed him and 3 hooked him with last hook being basement. I let the lvl 1 and the othe 17 live even though I could've 4k'd.

I still got called trash which made me laugh with glee, especially after I told him you died they didn't so the trash isn't me. 😈😈😈😈😈😈😈😈😈

You need to have a specific perk to counter her add on that is why it is OP, you can tell me to adapt all you want but only having 1 real hard counter to a add on is complete broken. And no you can see all of those other killers, her invisibility is just like Freddy's. You are completely invisible when you phase. therefor you cannot tell if she is near you. All of those other killers can be seen coming to your gen. You fail to see that clearly. And I can criticize killers even if I don't play them, I play against them all of the time, I understand what they do just as well as the killers themselves. Sure I can sacrifice one of my perks just in case I ever run into her with that add on again but personally I don't need that item on me 24/7 to deal with any other killer. The only time I would ever find it handy to use is against her with this add on. It needs to be nerfed.

I've given you 2 hard counters aka perks that not only work on here but all killers but you keep saying there's only 1 specific perk. Those 2 perks hard counter EVERY killer yet you don't want to admit that they work. Also all those other killers can't be seen clearly and the only one that refuses to see that is you.

Take Lery's for instance you can't see through walls now can you and since we both know the answer is a resounding no that means you can't see the killer coming. You just don't want to run a perk that works against all killers because you know it works against all killers.

Since you don't want to admit that you keep on insisting the addon is the problem and not your blatant refusal to use a perk that works against all killers. You claim to know how killers work just by playing against them yet if you've never played them your statement is false.

You can't claim to know the killers as well as those who play them if you've never even played one at all. That's like saying you know all the strengths and weaknesses of a fighting game character that you've faced but never played.

You can keep blaming the addon all you want, it won't change the fact that you've been given 2 that TWO perks that cna hard counter her and hard counter all other killers. That also includes Freddy, Nurse, Leatherface, Trapper, Pig, Wraith, Billy, Hag, Huntress, Myers, Clown and the Doctor.

It's almost as if those 2 perks counter every killer in the game, which by the way they do and quite well since it's why quite a lot of people especially in red ranks run one or the other. So in other words those 2 perks are handy at all times not just against her and that 1 addon.

If you think it's so op then play her and take her to rank 1, this is a challenge to prove your point that it's op until you've played her and taken her to rank 1. Because until you get to that point and play people that actually know how to play her and against her and that addon you've got no argument other than I want it nerfed.

The people that play her and know her and the other killers know their true strengths and weaknesses and can actually counter those killers. The same is true for survivors and how to counter them and each perk etc which is why people give hints on how to cope.

You've been given information on how to do so, you just don't want to give up you precious meta perks, so of course you can keep dying to her. Meanwhile the rest of us that have chosen to adapt will do just fine since it's logic like yours that got Freddy nerfed.

  • The ping indicators are fine and you can't compare the ping indicators in the lobby with the ping troll spam in League since they're completely different.

  • The perks can be changed but any cosmetics would have to get approval from the owners and of course part of each sale would go to the owner. So they can change whatever they want in regards to balance but any model cosmetics follow the 2nd rule.

  • @PixelatedDom said:

You can compare to aspects on games that a fact. You can compare any game to another game if they have similar or basic things to compare. There is only 1 solid counter to this add on and you need a perk to counter it. if there is no grass you cannot see her or tell she is near you. Understand that there are so many options in this game and so many things to run and taking up 1 perk slot out of my 4 is a lot to ask. And no, dont use the dumb logic of, if its so OP then you should e able to do it. I dont play her and I dont play killers. Give me some time to practice killers and yeah I'd imagine I would do 100% better with this add on compared to not running it. Understand that there is only 1 real hard counter to this perk and that is why it is strong.

I can compare other games to your issue and point out how other people manage in those games to adapt whereas you refuse to. There are 2 solid counters to her addon and both you refuse to use because it crimps your playstyle. The fact you refuse to run either of the 2 counters which by the way work on every killer but Myers in Evil Within I shows your the issue not ehr addon.

Also my logic isn't dumb just because you disagree with it and don't like the fact it makes sense. You don't play killers yet say you can't compare other killers without actually having played killer. that's totally bad and contradictory logic there.

There's 2 hard counters and most maps even Lery's have Grass and Myers in tier I can sneak up up on you when you're behind a wall. Amanda can sneak up on you behind a wall and you can't see her either. Wraith can sneak up on you behind a wall and you can't see him either.

In fact all killers can sneak up on you behind a wall and if they have Tinkerer then you won't get a terror radius either. Your problem is and will remain the fact you refuse to change or adapt to one killer and 1 addon. I watched a streamer earlier play without either of those addon on Lery's and never get grabbed once. She wasn't near grass and couldn't see her coming nor hear her yet did just fine.

The devs aren't going to remove an addon just because you refuse to use the available tools to counter it,e specially when that information has been given to you. If she had a 100% grab rate using this addon you'd see it get nerfed but since people adapt and learn to counter her they won't.

IF you won't change or adapt and won't learn to play killer you'll keep getting nailed by her or any killer for that matter. It's obvious you're going to keep using the add on as an excuse for not changing instead of fixing the issue which is you.

On wide open maps you can look and see her phase, on close maps it's all about situational awareness.

  • @PixelatedDom said:

Yes I can compare this to a fighting game. It was a topic of patterns not anything to do with game play. So dont tell me what I can and cant compare, I know a lot about the internals of games. If you have to use a perk slot to even tell if the killer is coming towards you that is EXTREMELY powerful. Disregarding grass because there are plenty of areas without grass. This add on is too powerful for it rarity. I'm not asking for a easier game at all and if you could comprehend that, then maybe we could get somewhere in the debate. Again, I want you to tell me how you are suppose to counter her when she has this add on, on the jigsaw map without a perk to tell she is coming to you. You cant. And thats my point. It is way to powerful at its current rarity. It takes out the mechanic for you to tell if she is near you. It need to be changed, this wouldnt make it any less difficult to deal with her, it would make her more balanced.

Good grief, you don't want to run 1 of 2 perks that can counter her and every other killer in the game except Evil I Myers. Then you turn around and say there's no counter despite just acknowledging those 2 are counters.

You're also using a logical Fallacy in comparing a fighting game to DBD it's like comparing League of Legends to WOW. You choose to use perk slots to counter killer abilities all the time, Self Care, Adrenaline, Dead Hard, Balanced Landing, Iron Will etc.

In fact if you're running a single perk then you're using a perk slot to counter the killer in some way, shape or form. So complaining about having to use a perk slot to counter her is highly hypocritical when you're already running perks to counter the killer.

I can counter her with that addon and never get grabbed off the gen unless I'm trying to get that last 1%, and it's a rarity that anyone that know how to play her or against her gets grabbed. You've been given solutions to the problem but refuse to use them because you don't want to adapt.

Again the rarity could change and it wouldn't change then fact you'd still get grabbed because you refuse to adapt and change your ways.

Finally since you think the addon is so op take Spirit to rank 1 and 4k every game with her, you should have no problem doing so with that addon. In fact you should be able to hit rank 1 within a day 2 at most and stay there and 3-4k every game.

I'm a month and a week in to this game and I've no idea if the Devs read or respond to our stuff, very occasionally do you even see a (as in a single) mod do so. Thus I'd say that they probably don't, but there is a chance they do. A chance.

They do read stuff on here but just because they don't respond to it people will say what you did which is they don't read it. It makes you feel better that you didn't get a response by typing that. But if you'd think logically you'd realize that with probably hundreds of threads a day across the entire forum they can't respond to each and every one of them.

If you look at the threads where they don't respond and someone says what you did they all have the same thing in common usually. They're threads that've been answered repeatedly including by the stickied ones at the top of the page.

Which is why I asked, to see if there's anyone who's even seen a response. Given that SWF is a long-time issue, you'd think they'd respond to a similar topic that someone here can confirm seeing a response to. If you think logically, there's no way one person can sift through all the threads but together, we've seen a lot and can share what the devs had said on the issue to save each other research time.

But they have responded to these types of threads and quite often, it just gets ignored by the vocal minority here on both sides when they do. I might do is what I and some others used to do on the LOL forums which is keep a database of faq/threads and the devs responses handy.

  • @Aerys said:
    @Orion
Oh, okay that's fine then, but like I said I've yet to see any suggestions that are noteworthy to them so if that's what it takes to get a response out of em.

Most of the threads are nerf the other side buff my side types of things and the rest break down into suggestions way to impractical. The majority of the threads that don't merit a response get answered by the community.

The ones that deserve a response get a response.

Yuh huh, and at the high ranks you're saying a person who's put dozens of hours into Nurse is going to fail her jumps frequently? We aren't talking about the bad Nurse players when talking about balance, we're talking about the ones who can use her power to the fullest, when balancing a game that's always what you're talking about. So can you, and the rest of you, say that Nurse is completely balanced and not stronger than every other Killer by far when played at her fullest potential?

Yes, if a player can play her perfectly, she's the strongest Killer by far, but not because of any inherent advantage. Most Survivors nowadays only know how to loop. They never learned how to win chases; only how to delay them. The Nurse cannot be looped, so, naturally, they lose, because she takes away the one thing they know how to do.

This, I'm also terrible at looping which made me a better player overall since i tend to play more stealthily and also worked on losing a killer not by looping. You can bait her blinks, listen for how long she channels as you're moving. Above all else don't try and lose her in a wide open area since that's death against a great nurse.

Lose los and then do unexpected things while sneaking off, act like you're going to jump through that window and then don't. You think she's op wait until she face a master nurse player trolling you with 5 blinks, that's op. If you really want to screw with the nurse pick a cornfield map and play stealthy, use UE, Lithe, Fleet Footwork etc.

  • Again you were given counterplay options 2 hard options that you refuse ro use and 1 soft option with the grass moving. You've chosen to be like the kid standing in the corner stomping their feet and holding their hands on their ears.

You also can't compare this to a side scrolling fighting game nor a fighting game in general and that just shows the weakness and invalidity of your argument. The addon isn't the issue but your refusal to take any advice that will help you counter that very rare addon.

The devs could make it Ultra Rare and you'd still complain about it because you don't want to change and adapt. You say you don't want things easy but by asking for it to be changed or removed that's exactly what you're doing. If you refuse to use the tools that are available to counter something and instead ask for a removal you're asking for an easier game.

I don't have an issue facing her at rank 1 when she uses this addon because I know how she plays and i also have adapted my playstyle to counter her. It doesn't matter the killer, I simply adapt as the match goes on.

The devs aren't going to remove something simply because you don't want to adapt and change how you play since if they did that then they'd have to do it for everyone else. You'd have basically a Hello Kitty gameplay at that point trying to please everyone.

When you think NOED is just for bad killers.
    Why every survivors uses adrenalin?
Adrenalin is in the meta for survivors.
When you said NOED is for noobs, then adrenalin
    is for noobs, too.

You have to level up Meg for that.
And I rarely see Adrenaline users.
    #########

    Its a meta perk.
The others are DS, Self Care and Sprint Boost.
And on high rank everyone used it.

I've only used DS for teh Laurie Adept and tried it 6x before that, never used it again.
I've never used Adrenaline except for Meg's adept, never used it after.
I've not used Sprint Burst in over 4 months or so except on the characters that have nothing better and that was also months ago.

So no not everyone uses all those perks, especially at rank 1.

I've seen the following perks all the way to 1.

    Adrenaline
    Lithe
    Balanced Landing
    Self Care
    Sprint Burt
    WGLF
    Borrowed Time
    Bone
    Plunderers Instinct
    Ace In The Hole
    Decisive Strike

Those are just a few of the ones I've seen and the so called meta isn't such a meta anymore for quite a lot of ppl.

Oh and cleanse the totems, I manage to do it all the time and the only time NOED gets me is because I'm on the hook. Because I've cleared one entire side of the map of 3-4 totems and thought the other 3 people got the last one because they were all on that side of the map entire game.

The other times NOED has gotten me is when 1 totem is super wll hidden and or the killer protects it's area really well. This happens with a 3 gen strat and it much rarer.

As a killer I've gotten 2-4k with it because I never ran Ruin except for the adept. and got told that I was a bad killer for using it. I responded cleanse the totem and the response I got from the tea bagging Jake was that he didn't have time to cleanse dull totems since Ruin wasn't in effect.

Anymore valid than the next person's...

    Clears throat

Wraith is viable at rank 1.

As I said in another thread that Wraith is pretty common at rank 1 the same for other stealthy type killers. Well played Wraiths will terrorize at rank 1 pretty regularly.

  • @rha I don't know of many that run it since more prefer her ultra rare addon along with other combos and all killers pretty much run BBQ which you can counter. M&A is nice but I've never used it mainly because I haven't gotten it yet . But also for her i sometimes run Distressing to screw with people since they don't know where i'm at.

Your un Distressing with BBQ, and Unrelenting depending on how you want to play. You can run Enduring/Iron GRasp/ so many other perks depending on what the survivors choose both in characters and items.

There's also counterplay, it's called running perks that help you out, Bond so you know when someone's in a chase, Premonition/SPine Chill to give you heads up. You can run DS if you're so worried about it along with Boil over etc.

There're a lot of options but the op doesn't want to choose those because it'd mean adapting to the changing situation. At rank 1 i have no problem with Spirit sneaking up on me because i run a perk just in case that also counters Pig, Wraith etc. It also helps with Insidious campers to boot as well as letting me know if the killer is camping just outside terror radius.

  • @PixelatedDom said:

You can see everyone of those killers besides Freddy and he has a lullaby to let you know he is near by, and even if he doesn't it takes him a few seconds to pull you into the dream world. All of the other killers who go invisible have a draw back to attacking you. She doesn't not have that at all. She instantly comes out with a speed buff. The only thing that you can use to tell if she is near you is the sound effect unless you have a perk to know she looked in your general direction or if you see some grass move. If you take away the one thing that lets you know that she is even near you then you have little to no chance of ever getting away without getting hit or pulled off a gen. You cannot compare her to other killers because she is not like them at all. I have no issue fighting her the way she is. Hearing the sound queue gives me a split few moments to run to a pallet, run away, or try to hide. If you take that away you have no chance of that happening unless you have a perk slot used up or you see grass move. I think that is incredible over powered for a very rare add on. And you're right I do think the add on should be removed, but the Devs are never going to do that so the least I want to see happen is have it be moved to ultra rare. It is way too powerful and should be nerfed. This has nothing to do with me not being good at the game or adapting. You cannot adapt to something you cant see or hear. It needs to be nerfed.

Again this all boils down to you refusing to adapt, you want a perk removed or made rarer because you don't like it. You want it gone/removed because you don't want to have to run a perk that works against ehr and all other killers. You want it gone/removed because you don't want to have to pay attention to grass moving or making sure you're not tunnel visioned on the gen.

It really wouldn't matter if it was ultra rare or not, you'd still complain it's op because you don't want to adapt and learn how to counter her. If you have problems with ehr than a Wraith with very rare addons that allows him to decloak and move super quick will give you even more trouble.

You say you can't compare well sure you can, all killers can pull you off gens because you refuse to pay attention. Why even Bubba with all his issues can sneak up on you because you don't want to have to pay attention. If he has tinkerers well guess what you're getting grabbed off that gen.

Myers Evil Within I and his VERY RARE Scratched Mirror is going to grab you off gens and he has ZERO terror radius. Also unlike Spirit he can see your Aura within 12 meters even behind walls and guess what he can grab you off gens.

Then there's the Wraith that has a VERY RARE addon that allows him to see auras while cloaked within 12 meters. So he can also sneak up on you while invisible and grab you off the gens.

Lastly if you think it's so op take her to rank 1 and then use that addon and 4k every game with her, since it's so op you should have no problem doing that.

  • @DukeJukem said:
the spirit is honestly overpowered garbage once shes mastered. her whooshing sound basically cant be heard if the chase music is blaring in your headset regardless of the no sound addon or not. and she insta un cloaks and can attack immediately with a speed boost, which is the main thing that makes the wraith suck. so basically shes everything amazing about the wraith with none of the downfalls with a slightly slower movement speed with the most insane mindgame potential plus she cant be blinded while she vaults and very rarely can u successfully blind her on pallets (same with hag)

If you think she's overpowered garbage then tank her to rank 1 it should be quite easy for you to do it and 4k non stop.

  • @PixelatedDom said:

I never see anyone run those perks. And no I dont think the game should be easy, I think it should be fair. I think there is nothing fair about taking away the sound that signifies that the killer is near you at all. But on top of that she is invisible. Unless you were looking at her direction and saw some grass move or had one of those perks you would have absolutely no idea if she was even in your general area. I think the add on is completely unfair and not fun at all to fight against. There is no draw back to using it like no scratch marks or anything like that. It is a free down on people working on gens, and a free hit on people running around. I think there is no playing smart against something you dont know is coming. You dont know if its going to be spirit, you dont know if she'll have the add on and you dont know if she is coming. I think the add on should be nerfed to ultra rare.

I run Premonition all the time and see both all the way to rank one playing both sides and if you want to talk about being fair you have it way easier a a survivor.

You complain about taking away the sound well guess what Evil within I Myers has ZERO terror radius and no sound. Wraith has no terror radius while cloaked and is invisible and has more multiple rare addons that make him a beast.

If I were to use your example, unless you were looking at his direction and saw some grass move or in his case a shimmer you wouldn't know he's there. What you don't like is the fact you can't play against her the same way as all the other visible killers.

The drawback is that it's very rare and unlike some of the addons you use doesn't drop like candy in her blood web. It's also only a fre down if YOU'RE NOT PAYING ATTENTION. If you're going to tunnel vision on that gen then you deserve to get pulled off.

If the killer is a Billy or Myers or anyone else and they have tinkerer well guess what they can sneak up on you and grab you just as easily. You don't know who the killer is which is why you pay the heck attention and don't just run right at the nearest gen without a care in the world.

They could make the addon ultra rare and you'd still get grabbed off that gen, then you'd complain it needs to get removed. The issue isn't the addon but your stubborn refusal to learn from your mistakes and change how you play.

Again the perk isn't the issue no matter the rarity you'd still complain about it because you won't adapt, you won't take advice. Instead you want to do ye old Ostrich head in the ground routine. IF you think that perk is unfair then I don't think you'll like what rank 1 is like. The killers there use tinkerer, you'll see lots of Wraiths, Freddy's who by they way you ca't see and the ones there know how to play.

  • It's called a Flashlight and it's your friend once you find one in a chest since if you being on in with a Hag as killer they'll bring Franklin's. Disarming is a nice idea but it'd make Hag pretty much a free win and you can already disarm them by running over them when she's chasing someone.

Does anyone else think its a little ridiculous that the payer beads bracelet removes the phasing sound? It is impossible to tell if she come to your gen so she gets a free insta down if they're people on that Gen. I think that this add on should be removed, I think it is way to OP and removes the ability to guess on how to react to her.

As both a Spirit main and as a survivor that faces her the addon is fine and you just have to play more appropriately. You can run Premonition or Spine Chill and also pay attention to things like moving grass and also change positions ona gen.

You can also know she's there if you feel a nudge/bump stop holding M1 and or move and you won't get grabbed.

So they way to counter this add on should be to sacrifice a perk slot just in case she has the add on, or I should always look at the grass around me or sacrifice speed on a gen and change spots often? Personally I think that, that is way too much to do as a precaution against a very rare add on. I think it should be changed to a higher rarity. It is way to powerful for a very rare add on.

So in other words you don't want to have to actually play smart or choose a perk that benefits you and have it handed to you easier.

Premonition and spine Chill are used against all killers at all time, especially Wraith and Pig and Myers once he gets to Evil II. You also get good use out of them against Billy, Nurse, Hag, Huntress, Trapper etc, Just wait until you go up against a Wraith with movement speed addons and quick uncloaking which are also very rare addons.

If you're not willing to pay attention to your surroundings while playing then you can't complain when a killer nails you. In fact you'e just as bad as the killer that don't want to run anything but their favourite perks despite seeing what the survivors are and what they're bringing.

They then do exactly what you do and complain that it's to hard and they shouldn't have to adapt, everything should be easy for them.

  • Neither 1 nor 2 is the correct answer unless you're talking about variables then.

    1. Killer is too easy when it's an experienced killer playing against newer players and or noobs.
    2. Killer is just right when it's an experienced killer playing against an about equal skilled group of solo players.
    3. killer isn't where they need to be against the very rare Depip Squad level groups be it 4 man swf or 4 man solo.

There's a team of six of us ACMs going through reports. It's very easy to tell which reports are false or not bannable offenses and those are discarded right away, so false reports do not slow us down much.

I was just thinking of all the laughs you must get out of some of the threatened report reasons as well as some of the actual reports. That's not for the actual harmful ones though, only the why did they report for this or why did they say that?

Like the REPORTED FOR CYPBER BULLYING I got post game from 1 person haha.

This is a better solution than just removing it because a lot of times for me there's some funny stuff said about jump scares etc.

  • You could doa unique passive but one that's not game breaking so to speak and perhaps even take one of their elsser used perks and make it a passive. IT could even be a passive that fits their character so for instance Claudette could have the ability to pick plants to heal 2% faster. (yes I know Claudette but just as an example)

For Detective Tapp he could be better at finding totems/chests.
For Meg slightly reduced exhaustion since she's a track runner so instead of 60 seconds it'd be 45 etc.
For Quentin he'd have a built in Bond type of thing or Empathy and it'd be say 16 meters.

Those are all just examples but you get the idea since it'd be based upon the character and their lore.

I agree with you 100%. There has to be an option, this is getting far too common and pretty ridiculous.

Took Spirit to rank 1, never used Ruin, managed 3-4k quite often even against swf teams and soo teams. Also got my butt kicked by Deppip level swf groups and depip level all solo groups. But I 3 and 4 k'd way more often than I got my butt kicked.

If you can't handle a 3 man swf then a competent solo group will kick your butt every time so instead of dodging adapt and get better. You need to learn to use their altruism against them, when they'll go for unhooks and when they won't. Who to chase and who not to etc.

Marth didn't get as good as he is by dodging swf groups or dodging solo q's because they brought multiple items or were wearing legacy or other bright outfits. He also didn't derank just to get easier matches.

I don't know who the hell Marth is or whatever but....

3 people spawn = Less Gens.
Less Gens = better for killer.

    End.

My reference was to ppl powering through Ruin and dodging lobbies, which was what my response referenced.

3 ppl can still do gens, you still need to do 2 gens to get the hatch to spawn and sometimes you get a friendly killer like me. Yes it sucks but if you're only getting 10k in a 15 minute match then you're still doing something wrong.

Give us this option or im just gonna DC, i dont care about points because im not playing 15 minutes to get 10k Bloodpoints #%*& off

Wait is this a killer rant like usual or a survivor rant about 3 man swf like usual, it's hard to tell. Because if you're playing 15 minutes and only getting 10k you're doing something wrong on both sides.

If the survivors hide all game instead of doing gens, 10k can happen

If the survivors hide all game then they're not doing gens so in order to get out they have to come out of hiding. They come out of hiding you find them chase them, down them, hook them =profit. Now guess what you've got way more than 10k and you'd only get 10k for a match if you're playing badly.

In order to come out they have to come out??
If the survivors want to hide in some corner with their stealth cosmetic, then they can and in those games 10k for 15 minutes soudns quite realistic

so the game lasts for 15 minutes and then what? Does the killer just let them power all the gens, open the gates and leave without doing anything? You can't troll your way out this time since the match can't end at 15 minutes unless the killer lets it happen.

So therefore 10k for 15 minutes isn't possible since the survivors have to come out of hiding, they have to work on gens, they have to open the gates. The killer can initiate chases, damage gens, get hits, get downs, get hooks.

Thus 10k for a 15 minute match is only possible if the killer plays badly or sits afk after the survivors go into hiding.

Dude recent devstream showed survival rate is below 50%. How is that one sided to survivors?

below 50% is vague. Survivors [BAD WORD] on hooks dc when they get mad ect. That percentage means nothing.

Did the devs actually state what the breakdown was or are you like the others assuming what fits your narrative for either side?

If you watched the streams you would know that answer :)

No, both sides are taking what was said and twisting it to fit their narrative and you know that to be the case.

  • I've always though game id/tags should be hidden till post game for both sides since that'd prevent the dodging but also make it more suspenseful. I wonder if this would also prevent the whole MLGA abuse by the small amount on both sides

I personally think killers shouldn't be able to see what items survivors are carrying in the lobby, so it's fine.

You are aware that this is a core mechanic of the game, right?
It was always intended that the killer can prepare himself for what the survivor are bringing into the match by stalking them at the campfire.
    It's part of the gamebalance.
Why should a killer equip Lightborn, when no one brings a torch?
Why should a killer use FD, if no one brings an item?

I hate to say I agree with Wolf but he's got a point and if anything the survivors should all be facing the killer in a lineup so to speak. That way larger characters don't cover up smaller characters that end up slightly behind them in the lobby.

(S)he wants there to be a stun on killers falling from a high level and carrying a body.

    why? Not really sure.

That would be kinda funny but by the same token the survivor should be stunned as well, perhaps half the killers stun time.

Survivors do get stunned from falling already.

I'm referring to while being carried by the killer, in this case teye'd suffer normal stun time from stagger plus an additional time minus say Balanced Landing.

The killer would have it's normal reduced stagger except for 3rd story where they'd get a 1 or 2 sec stagger stun.

The survivor would suffer a 1 or 2 sec stagger stun as well or something like that to make it interesting for both sides and funny as well.

You could even add it so that if the killer drops and gets stunned say x% chance the survivor is thrown x distance and is back on feet but is stunned for x time minus x perk.

Give killers an option to opt-out from swf

Yeah sure, let's break all the queues and have people just lobby dodge till they get the same room with each other.

Yes this is what happened before and ppl would just lobby dodge until they got together with their friends. The killer complained about getting a lobby. If in fact the swf population has gone up you'll literally have no lobbies.

I've never dodged a lobby as a killer yet except for ping being excessive, not even 4 man swf at rank 1 and most of the time i did quite well.Oh sure i got destroyed in games but that happened to me in full solo q games as well.

The there has to be a kill with friends mode. Imagine two p3 nurse mains. 10 dcs one match
