And in the case of something like the shroud of separatio (all 4 survs start in a different location), the likely-hood of that occurring increases, while also increasing the overall efficiency of the gen-repairs. IE: the offering itself is generally useless. Apart from the moderators suggestion that it makes survs think you've got a mori.

The shroud if it's used properly is pretty good but generally it's only use is to make people think it's a Mori. But oftentimes even when it's used some survivors still start close together. It's actually more efficient for survivors to work solo on a generator than together.

Memorize the location where it dropped, I know its hard to use the brain, but it can be done

Yes memorize the location, oh wait someone else just picked it up while you were being chased, perhaps they lost their item or just didn't bring one.

I know it's hard to use your brain and actually think logically but it can be done.

Now see how I just used my brain to give a valid and logical response and not some trollish response?

@powerbats At this point it is pointless to argue with you. You seem to be impervious to logic and no matter how often or good I will explain it to you, your either unable to understand or you just do not WANT to.
In an internet debate the most stubborn will always win, because he can just swap away anything said before and circlejerk is point of view.
    So... grats, you won.

Yes ignore my point about you always bashing anyone that dares to point out possible flaws with a killer idea you like. Then you resort to the typical insults and deflections as usual which is why you most of your responses end this way.

Its not a secret that the rank system is a joke.
The fact that you 4k with no gens done or only 1/2 already proves that

It's not a secret that you're just bad at at killer.
The fact that you can't 4k against good survivors proves this.

  • @SurpriseSurprise said:

True, but do you run around at the start of the match looking for the totems? Or do you do whatever is in front of you? Until you feel the effects of the totems.

Most of the time I run around looking for totems as a matter of course, while the few time I spawn in front of a gen I might start working on it depending on the map and where it's spawned at.

I cannot take this unbalanced, one sided game anymore.

Any other killers tired of the utter lack of balance, the poor development and overal bias this game has become.

This game is a load garbage now.

You've obviously slept through the past 5 months of killer buffs and survivor nerfs and map changes. The issue sound more like you need to improve instead of just everything's against you.

  • @Orion Already broke down the healing changes in another thread and if you're going to say it's the most used perk well so is BBQ.

Also weren't you one of the ones saying DS was the most op perk, or was it DH, AD etc since it changes like the flavor of the month it seems.

  • The issues with this would be:

    1.Small maps like say Haddonfield/Springfield

    1. Both exit gates close together

    2. High mobility killer like say Billy, Nurse , Spirit, Wraith.

    3. How would this affect both sides?

    4. Would this jus funnel survivors who just healed up or did a rescue right to the waiting killer?

I could list other things but you get the point since this isn't PUBG or Fortnite..

You asked for proof, I provided it. Not my problem if you can't be bothered to actually watch a dev stream.

I can see both sides of the argument here but in this instance if he turns around or someone else did and posted a 5 hour video etc and said there's your proof. Based on the past responses given by some of the killer mains on here giving a timestamp is a fair thing to do.

If you know where the info is a simple it's around x time is more than appropriate to prove your point similar to the discussion about the timestamp around the 17 discussion.

I don't have the time stamp, Because I'm not going to search every single bit for him, so he can discredit it immediately.
Because that's exactly what happened in the past. He asked for proof, I provided it with time stamps and then he ignored it and changed subject. Back then it was about face camping.

Ok fair enough, it looked like based upon what you'd said that you knew exactly where it was so the clarification is nice. I'll try and re-watch it later if my migraine stops nagging me for a bit so I can see what you're both talking about.

    Sigh

They claimed that only 23% of all survivors use SC. Problem was, they couldn't read their own stats. Because it was a 23% chance per perk slot.

They claimed that Freddy had the highest kill rate, but admitted that the system doesn't differentiate between a kill and a disconnect. They also admitted that an overwhelming amount of people disconnected against him.

I'm not referring to those cherry picked stats though, I'm referring to the stats on kills, survival etc that the other people claim were debunked. I just did the exact same thing you did, only I'm specifying which ones I'm referring to.

I'm always amazed when I see statistics about how only 24% of survivors use SC, how the lobby times don't pass 3 minutes or that Freddy was the most lethal killer ever.

Yes, lets compare stats from last year as if they couldn't have possible changed and self care is probably more popular, like come on now, Tsulan.

But of course, if these stats fitted your narrative we wouldn't be in this conversation now, would we?

Devs = Lets buff killers for a few months.

Devs = Lets also lie about some stats because we hate killers.

SC is more popular after the healing nerf?
    That's a bold statement.

I was referring to the stats which at that moment where supposed to be correct, but where debunked shortly after.

I know, ignorance is bliss and you life it to the maximum. But even you can't deny that the devs gave us fake stats in the past to calm the angry mob down.

They were debunked how again because using assumptions to make claims makes one look foolish. If the devs don't state what time period that's from or the more detailed breakdown your so called debunked has been debunked.

Another issue is when you lunge st an unsafe pallet, I've seen people do quick camera flicks there and dodge hits. Its so BS because it changes unsafe pallets into safe pallets. Sometimes you have to do a distance lunge and they come out with what is clearly an exploit of the games crappy mechanics.

The last part is just either lag or the difference between teh data sayin ghit and not due to the connection between you and the victim in question. You'll find that sometimes when you'e a survivor the killer will hit you like your described miss.

sometimes you'll get a hit when you shouldn't and a miss when you should get a hit which is the downside to p2p. Because not only do you have both isp's but all the isps between the 2 of you. You also have to deal with is someone on a toaster connection, wifi, cabling, cat 5 or cat 6 etc.

The hatch is a free safety net to rob killer of a deserved 4k and you guys are here to tell everyone that the mechanic that saves your rear for free is not punishing the good killer enough.

Good grief just stop, you're not entitled to a free kill. Get over it and go earn that 4th kill. The survivor isn't getting that for free, they have to actually make it in to escape. So you're not being robbed of anything, the only thing you're doing is continuing to show who's the entitled one entitled here.

If it was free then the survivors wouldn't have to do a single gen and they could walk out in the open slowly to the hatch and never get touched by the killer. That's what a free escape is, not you're heavily biased definition of it which isn't even remotely accurate.

    Hold your horses buddy.
I am neither "entitled" to it, nor is the 4k "free", because I actually worked for it as a killer.
On the other hand you feel perfectly fine to be "entitled" to a real "free" (the person that can jump the hatch does not have to have done anything) escape when you are the last survivor.
    That's a pretty harsh doublestandard.

It's kinda funny how you try to call me out for something you do at the very same post.
That doesn't make any sense to me and it is really hard to debate with you seriously if you can't see your own doublestandard.

Ok now you're just plain being obstinate at this point.

Just because you worked for it doesn't mean you deserve it, you're acting like you deserve that kill. you don't which is why you have to earn it.

How am I being entitled here again, oh wait i'm not and here we go again the whole failed free argument. It isn't free as I explained above and your little deflection happens rarely. You tried and failed to say I'm entitled then say someone else can stand on it and get it.

So someone managed to escape YOUR notice the entire match and you let them escape, now who's fault is that? That last person could just as easily have carried their entire team to that hatch opening. Who're you to judge what they did or didn't do, that's not in the killers description.

The harsh double standard here is you and all the other killers whining over 1 kill that may or may not actually escape. The double standard is you complaining about survivors being entitled to a free escape which has already been proven it's not free.

The harsh double standard is you and the rest acting entitled to a free 4th kill then saying you're not acting entitled. If the survivors got at least 2 gens done that means you failed to stop their progress and now the last survivor has a chance at escape.

    for the 22nd devotion - 2200 shards,
    etc.
    PLEASE VOTE IF YOU AGREE

This is better since that way earning BP doesn't feel so meaningless since you get some from devotion levels already.

The shard counts might be a bit high unless you're saying that's per overall level instead of how it is currently where each level within the main level gives shards. It currently gives 300 shards each time you level within a level.

For example I'm currently Devotion 4 level 12 that means I've earned at 300 shards per level a total of 121,200 Iridescent shards if my maths correct.

Hatch shouldn't exist in the first place.
Especially if the gates are powered. Renders 2 endgame perks completely useless.
What's the point in taking Blood Warden and Remember Me, if the last survivor can simply escape without any effort?

Well you do have to remember the Where did they go achievement is a thing and can't easily be removed. Also they're not escaping without any effort unless they're actually standing the the thing already.

The best way to balance it is if both gates are open and 3 people have made it out the hatch either gets locked within 5 seconds. ( This prevent someone from tea bagging as the killer gets close and also makes them leave asap)

The other option is that if everyone got out already the hatch automatically closes and then survivor has to exit via one of the 2 exit gates. But in both options both gates must be powered and 1 is opened fully.

If 1-3 get out via the hatch the other survivor then has 15 seconds to get out through the hatch before the hatch automatically closes.

Lastly the hatch belongs in the game since it's part of the lore and the entity feeds off the survivors hopes of an escape. No hatch means all the times you all complain about the last survivor not looking for the hatch/not leaving are about to get worse.

Because I can guarantee you that with hatch removal people are going to hide and evade you forever and keep doing so.

Edit: as far as BP goes for it, the bonus should only be for if you get out via a key. If you hop in you only get the 5k for survival, not an additional 2k for escaping.

    **

Ah yes the typical Ad Hominem thrown in and as usual completely and utterly wrong. Killer main currently atm so yet again your argument falls flat on it's face. You just can't admit the idea isn't sound for a myriad of reasons so you resort to the classical and failed survivor main insult.

It will never happen because it isn't feasible from any standpoint no matter how you try and argue with insults, facts will always shoot you down in FLAMES But keep up with the insults as i said I'm sure eventually you'll learn to accept those don't work here.

You are using the word "insults" wrong. Perhaps take your own advice instead of "flaming" my posts and speak more directly to the topic.

Seems pretty clear you were trying to insult me with that bolded comment of yours above.

The idea is actually quite sound. The amount of people playing at one time in the OP is probably not realistic but 2 killers at one time would make for some great gameplay.

2 killers would make it more interesting but as stated repeatedly in ym post and others countless times it won't work due to all the reasons listed in this thread and the rest.

Just because they don't have the backend work to make it happen doesn't mean people don't want it or that the idea is bad.

The idea is bad because of all the factors that'd make it bad, those have been discussed ad nauseum, you just don't like the reasons.

If you can't see that there ARE people who want a KWF scenario, then you may need your eyes checked. I had a thread on it not too long ago (same old arguments against it) but there was genuine interest. There have also been other folks who have posted interest in this type of gameplay in other threads.

**I can see there's people that want this it still doesn't mean it's a good idea and as I said KYF is already in the game options. There's people that want to have killers go 200% movement speed, while some want survivors to be able to attack the killer.

Both of those are bad ideas and yet there's lots of people that want them, or similar crazy ideas. If we use your logic it should happen because people want them.**

I do notice a theme in your posts though: when a few individuals disagree with you, you tend take on the role of the "voice of the forums" and present a very elitist attitude in the words you chose, attacking the poster rather than the idea. Even when you make a credible argument, you discredit yourself by attacking the poster.

I've attacked the arguments plenty and you had no argument, you went straight to insults so I attacked your credibility. You didn't like it and resorted to more of the same along with deflections.

You may forget, but the forums make up a VERY small and specific minority of players (for any game). Sometimes a majority belief in a forum is a minority of the players...or more importantly, potential customers.

You claim to notice a theme in my posts yet ignore where I've stated many a time the forums are a minority of the playerbase and that many people probably aren't even aware they exist. For someone so versed in my posting you seem to conveniently ignore a lot that doesn't fit your narrative.

Tl;dr: There are definitely people who want to KWF. Just because it may not be technically feasible at the moment doesn't negate the genuine interest in this type of gameplay. Having two communicable killers is something I think many SWF mains are fearful of because it would be a serious obstacle for them.

Again KYF or kill your friends is already a game mode and has been for quite some time. Also having 2 communicable killers would be fine in theory against a full 8 man swf. But against say 8 solo players it'd be a massacre.

You're also forgetting that this would require dedicated servers and because of this people would need to be close to a server. Then you have the issue of killers would be heavily favored coding wise on whether a hit took place or not similar to say Overwatch or CS.

If you think huntress hitboxes are bad they'd be nothing compared to how that'd work and the survivors would be at a heavy disadvantage latency and packet wise. If you'd go read all the other threads where this idea has been debunked countless times before by people with far more network and coding experience than me you'd understand.

  • @Tsulan said:

Oh I thought we were talking about normal gameplay. Not rank 20 or dev stream matches, where survivors miss literally every single skill check.

    My bad!

    The following are unbiased facts:

    • a gen takes 80 seconds to complete if the survivor works alone, hits only normal skill checks, doesn't uses toolboxes or perks that speed up the repair time.
    • survivors can spend up to 2 minutes on the hook.
    • killer has to track, chase, hit, down, pick up, carry and hook every survivor 3 times which adds up to 12 times with 4 survivors.
    • all gens can be repaired in 3 minutes.

Unless survivors play like potatoes, the killer doesn't has the chance to avoid that they complete 2 gens. Simply because the killer can't be at 4 places at the same time.

Oh and you need 2 people for a hatch standoff. Survivor and killer are both equally at fault. You only calling the killer at fault shows how biased the whole comment is.

As if on cue here comes the failed arguments again.

I frequently 3-4k'd and most of the 3k matches were me letting last person get the hatch even carrying them to it. I had quite a few times where they either got no gens done or got only 1 gen done. I kept up good map pressure in those matches and grabbed people off gens etc.

So yes your bad to compare it like that.

    The following are unbiased facts

"a gen takes 80 seconds to complete if the survivor works alone, hits only normal skill checks, doesn't uses toolboxes or perks that speed up the repair time."

**This is only true if they get left alone for 80 whole seconds and sodon't get grabbed off or scared off. There's also the fat that people blow up the gens all the time trying for great skill checks.

They get scared when the killer comes close, someone else blows the gen up, and if you're letting someone sit there for 80 seconds uninterrupted you're doing something wrong.**

"survivors can spend up to 2 minutes on the hook."

Yes they can, but they can also suicide as often happens or go to 2nd stage trying to get off or make people come quicker. There's also the ones that don't kobe get to 2nd stage and then suicide.

"killer has to track, chase, hit, down, pick up, carry and hook every survivor 3 times which adds up to 12 times with 4 survivors."

**That's completely and utterly false and you know it. There's the above mentioned failed kobe attempts, the above mentioned suicide attempts, There's also this thing called a Mori where the killer insta gibs a person after 1 hook.

Then there's Rancor great for a free mori, NOED, Evil Within III with or without Tuft/Tombstone, Chainsaws, Make Your Choice etc.**

"all gens can be repaired in 3 minutes. "

So all 4 survivors can be downed in under 3 minutes and this 3 minute gen rush excuse is even accurate now since BNP's got nerfed into the ground. It doesn't happen as much as before due to the nerf.

"Oh and you need 2 people for a hatch standoff. Survivor and killer are both equally at fault. You only calling the killer at fault shows how biased the whole comment is."

**The killer is at fault because they can easily just move onto the next match, they can smack the survivor and move on or just move on.

You have the choice of whether to move or not, the survivor can't just walk away from a standoff and expect to live.**

You seem to have tall this trouble at rank 1 where so many others don't, but the bottom line is you have to earn that 4th kill.

If you want that 4th kill than earn it and don't give me the you played perfectly nonsense since if you did not a single gen would be powered let alone 2 to make the hatch spawn. You want that 4th kill then as other killers have said, EARN IT.

The same is true for the survivor wanting the hatch, EARN IT, neither side should be expecting a free handout here.

  • @Aerys Well if you're camping at rank 1 you'll get a lot of salt and most swf are generally pretty cool although there's the toxic minority out there. If you're playing at rank reset it's brutal the 1st few days because all the higher skilled players are blasting through.

As far as getting destroyed at rank 1 that can and does happen and as you admitted experience will go a long way towards helping you. Once you get enough of it under your belt swf groups for the most part aren't that bad and you can use their altruism against them.

  • @Aerys realistically it's all about learning things in the end whether you want to hit rank one or just do better at the lower ranks. Well played Wraiths can wreak havoc at rank 1 and above, the same is true for other killers experience and knowledge are key.

All I'm asking for is too make the game fair, and 3 gens getting done by the time 1 chase has ended is not fair. This is not even beginning to talk about how perks and addons make chases even harder. Unless you play nurse you will be lucky to kill 2 people unless the survivor team screws up. Even Billy, one of the best killers in the game, still gets pallet looped till all gens are done.

See my response above and they're also ppl playing Doctor/Hag/Clown/Trapper/Myers/Pig etc at rank 1 and doing well with them. Perhaps certain killers you won't do well with and again adapting not only what you play but how you play and your map knowledge etc is equally important.

Sounds like a classic survivor main.
At rank one I literally can't play anyone other than hag or Billy otherwise the game ends before I can hook more than 2 people

I went all the way to rank 1 using Spirit and frequently aced with no gens done or just 1 or 2. It's really all about figuring out what killer works the best for your playstyle. Then maximizing them and picking the optimal perks based not only on your playstyle but what the survivors have etc.

If the game is ending before you can hook 1 or 2 survivors that just means you need to improve your gameplay, where the safe spots are and where they aren't. Who's a good looper and who's not, which gens you want to prioritize defending and which ones can be ignored.

There's so many things to improve on even if you generally do well you can always get better at it.

  • I don't think BHVR will ever got his route, which I'm thankful for.

  • No, they've already said countless times they're not going to increase gen time since holding M1 for 80 seconds is boring enough as it is. What they're working on is adding additional objectives like say gas or parts in order to do the gens.

That's an interesting idea, but how would that work if they were running it anyways or are you saying that perk should get removed? Since if it's built in killers won't need to run it anymore and instead get a free 5th perk well half of one anyways.

Would you tweak it some since it's a baseline kit mechanic to while affecting gens only doesn't have the same base effect and also not stack ?

    • New players would not understand this, it's counter intuitive. Veteran players would get mad that some new player came along and slowed down their generator, maybe even think they're griefing.
    • With everyone working on different generators, they're working at maximum efficiency.
    • With everyone working on different generators, you cannot apply pressure. If you disrupt a generator with three survivors on it, you stopped three people from progressing. If you stop a generator with one person on it, there's still three people working on generators (at max efficiency).

Think there'll be a rework of the killer offering, "Shroud of Separation"? Cause it like literally gives the survs a bonus in efficiency, lol.

The upside is secretly making the survivors play super carefully because they think you have a mori.

How does the survs playing safer make it easier on the killer?

Easy, they're more likely to not be running around looking for totems, and not going for great skill checks. Some will also stay still or try and find a super dark place to hide while trying to see who and where the killer is.

Why would you as a surv run around and hunt totems anyway? Only reason I'll ever do that is if they have Hex: Ruin.

    1. In case they've got NOED
    2. See number 1
    3. It's 600 objective points per totem, also see number 1
    4. You might run across another Hex totem say DH or TOTH the former needs to die asap, the latter protects the former and also at end game protects number 1.
    5. All of the above

    So to sum it up.
The killer isn't entitled to a 4k even if he did the perfect match. But survivors are entitled to escape, even if they did nothing for it.

Thank you sir, that's DbD in a nutshell.

Straw Man in a nutshell again.

The killer isn't entitled to anything ever, neither is the survivor and you keep using entitled when you know for a fact they're not getting a FREE ESCAPE.

That hatch doesn't guarantee them an escape 100% of the time which means they're not entitled to it.

The killer didn't have a perfect match because if they had a perfect match not a single gen would be done and thus the hatch wouldn't spawn ever.

That is in a nutshell is the failure of your entire argument once again, the only entitlements here is you killers wanting that free 4th k and claiming your entitled to it. The other entitlement is from the survivors who want to have a 100% guaranteed escape.

The only one to blame for a hatch standoff is you as the killer because if you're going to stand there stubbornly going for that 4th kill that's your decision to hold the game hostage not the survivor.

Because for the amount of time you ego is holding you there you just wasted that time that could be spent in more games earning way more blood points.

Meanwhile the rest of us want it to be balanced so that both sides have a chance.

    As killers:

We don't want an easy free 4th kill.
We realize if we got 3k we've already won the game.
We realize that the Entity feeds off the survivors hopes of escape and if the hatch wasn't there it couldn't feed.
We realize that we can be good sports and give the 4th person the hatch if they've played well.
We realize that there's another human being on the other side that wants to have fun as well.
We realize that the issue needs to be better balanced but it doesn't have to be all about me me me me and only what benefits me.

    As Survivors:

We don't want an easy escape, just the chance that we might be able to make it out.
We realize a hatch standoff can be frustrating but if we've done 2 gens, cleansed totems, or even did more gens/unhooks we shouldn't be screwed over.
We realize that the Entity feeds of our hopes and when we make a hatch play and fail the Entity feeds off our hope and despair.
We realize that killer wants to kill us most of the time but we're also not giving you a free kill just because you want a free kill.
We realize that there needs to be an improvement that benefits both sides and not just our side.

So both sides need to seriously stop with the entitlement victim mentality here, it's embarrassing.

Rocket league is a game with dedicated servers, it's a game that requires precision and haven't had any problems with that.

Rocket League is also way larger in terms of player base and their dedicated servers are all over the place and it's also VAC secured. They've got multiple server locations all over the world since they can afford it which is something most people don't consider.

    8 Killers, 2 survivors and 1 gen?

But make the killers fight over who gets to kill the survivors.

I raise you batletoads. To me, it was one of the hardest games Nintendo ever placed.

This game ALWAYS resulted in a fight with me and my brother. To the point where I remember my mom telling from the kitchen "YOU BETTER NOT BE PLAYING THAT GODDAMN BATTLETOADS AGAIN!!!"

I think that game was invented to invoke sibling fights.

Well TMNT the mission at the dam where you swim underwater through the super narrow area and the final boss on Contra which was god mode basically. The Contra fight was long considered unbeatable and if you did you had to have cheated lol.

Even with Game Genie that water dam level was terrible!

Agreed there was that 1 super narrow spot that I could almost never get past ever. I even tried it with Game Genie and would still die lol.

Sometimes you have to lunge ya know? Before they get to a pallet. You cant get quite close enough to get a position where you're ready for it.

Quick spin of the camera and WASD keys and suddenly its a free pass to claudette.

    Its garbage.

Perhaps we should have left other such exploits and jank in the game and just had people adapt. Like the trick on the combine where killers couldnt go down one side if a survivor crouched...why not just leave it in and have the killer adapt?

There's a trick you can use when you want to lunge near a pallet spot though, actually there's a few you can use.

    1. If the survivor is looking over their shoulder say left side you know that's the side they'll end up 360ing on. They're watching your movements to time their own so you need to mind game them.

When getting close to them you can do the lunge but then aim down and left and pull your movement back some. You'll end up swinging down and left and backing up and they'll walk right into your swing. The same is true if they're looking over their right shoulder do the same that way.

    1. If you're really close to the pallet it's all about the timing with your lunge at that point because you can time your lunge to hit before they start the pallet drop. If it's a 2nd hit to down if done right you'll hit them and down them before the pallet animation starts.

The stun still goes off because you started your lunge before they started the pallet drop but the hit registers and then you get stunned. If it's a 1st hit it's better to fake them out with a lunge so they drop the pallet and waste it.

Now if you're a sneaky killer you're running Spirit Fury like some Myers and even Billy's are doing sot hat you can still get that hit off and even if you get stunned it's instantly broken.

Those are just some of the ways to counter 360's and once you learn them you'll find that 360's aren't really an issue. Oh sure occasionally you'll miss or mistime it or get a really good 360 player but for the most part you'll still hit ost of them.

The ones you miss you won't miss more than 1-3x in a match and after that it's 100% hit rate every time and the smart ones stop doing it. The egotistic ones keep doing it and keep giving you free hits/downs.

    I'm just nice. :p

Well speaking hypothetically here since we're not supposed to discuss bans (the 1st rule of fight club is) when a punishment happens it's not always because the most recent offense. It can be an amalgamation of offenses over a certain time period.

It can also be that reports got caught up on and a past offense was dealt with or in combination with an overall amount to skip jail and go to the end stage. As in it went past the Entity has been summoned stage and went straight to sacrificed.

When I became a rank one killer I realized how decisive strike can be a wasted perk slot in the wrong hands.

I would laugh at people who used DS and I would down them again 5-10 seconds after I recovered.

Youre supposed to make the killer chase you for an extended period, use decisive, and go on just as long a chase again to receive the full benefits of the perk you know what I mean?

You do realize that DS is probably the only reason why they are rank 1? I mean 5-10 secs.....

I only used it 6x testing it out then another 5-6x trying for her achievement then not since.I can get to rank 1 without it just fine, it might take me a bit longer. But I also am a horrible looper as well so I don't have to depend on it if I wa a good looper.

I'm more of the sneaky stealthy type that drives you nuts looking for them and sneaking around being very very qwuiet. Although my sneak kills are harder now because i've not run UE in months now which makes the stealthiness more rewarding if pulled off.

Lol, you got banned, that didn't take long!

The forums should be renamed to “baby killers safe zone.”

To be honest, I don't care about who gets buffs or nerfs. Survivors can get buffs and I wouldn't care and same thing for the killer. However if you are gonna suggest a buff or nerf, you gotta have a reason for it since buffing or nerfing something just to do it is bad balancing.

This duuuud should be known to you by now, and yet you keep trying?

@Vadim239 The issue with so much bp is you introduce a system where BP really means nothing at that point because eventually you'll have nothing to spend it on if you're playing.

Yeah right. So much BP. omg. Are you serious? Do you have all your characters with 3rd prestige and having all the countless perks? Even the killers? I don't think so. Do you know how much time does it take to get Devotion 1??? And That's only 25 000. That is a huuuuuuuge number. 25K. You'll soon have nothing to spend it on. Ridiculous!

You just threw any chance at people agreeing you out of the water with that nonsense. I'm referring to the overall community where many people already have EVERY character P3'd. There's countless threads from people asking about earning shards or even Aurics because they reave have nothing to spend that bp on.

So instead of trying to be all dramatic and make yourself look silly why not actually take the constructive criticism to heart. If I'd suggested Auric Cells or shards and gotten feedback I'd have taken that feedback and Improved my idea.

You forget 1 little thing. Once 2 gens are done (which isn't particularly hard for 4 people), the survivors have little interest in completing their only objective if there are only 2 left. They both start searching the hatch instead of doing gens. I can't remember the times I was doing the gen, killer caught me and little timmy escaped the moment I died. Getting a whooping 11k bloodpoints and yelling how ez that was.

Why are people so adamant on removing any type of pressure from survivors? Why is the killer the only one who feels pressured during the whole match?
Shouldn't it be the other way around? Being the killer the power role?

Incorrect, you only remember the bad times you got screwed not the good times where you and the other person worked together. Most of the time if i'm getting chased the other person works on gens and vice versa or we're both doing gens together or separately.

You keep throwing out non existent arguments to back you up, when the truth of the matter is that the pressure is still on the survivor to actually find the hatch and escape. You'r making up excuses and false arguments to back up a failing argument.

The killer isn't under any pressure to get that 4th kill, they've already won by getting 3 kills and the only one with pressure is the survivor trying to escape. You just proved my point about wanting that 4th kill despite all the claims to the contrary.

If they get rid of the hatch does that change anything, no in fact it doesn't that survivor is still under pressure to escape somehow. The killer closes the hatch, well guess what the survivor still has to open the gates and get out.

Oh it's a high mobility killer like Billy, Nurse, Spirit, Wraith the pressures on the survivor still. Since killers move faster base speed before any special abilities get used. (Nurse is the exception)

It's time to accept the simple fact, YOU'RE NOT ENTITLED TO A 4TH KILL !!!!!! All this deflection and constantly changing your argument doesn't change that fact. The survivor did enough to have the hatch spawn and get a chance to get out. They're not guaranteed to make it out.

  • @Vadim239 The issue with so much bp is you introduce a system where BP really means nothing at that point because eventually you'll have nothing to spend it on if you're playing.

Survivors are opposed because adding a second killer is the only thing that can effectively combat the swf scenarios we see now.

    So it will never happen.

Your facts don't add up since quite a few of those opposed are killer mains so you might want to get your facts straight.

It won't happen due to optimization issues on console and even then the connection would destroy console users. But yes go ahead and keep showing your bias against actual logic and facts I'm sure it'll get you far. 😜

I said it before. The hatch rewards the losing team with a free undeserved win.
There is no such mechanism for killers which could get a free kill if they screw up. Why have it for survivors?
This is the only game that rewards little timmy for failing.

Just stop, it's not a reward for losing but a reward for doing some of the required objectives or did you forget the lore part of the Entity? The entity feeds on the hope of the survivors, if they have no hope of escaping it can't feed plain and simple.

If 3 survivors screw up while 1 person does 2 or more gens that person didn't screw up plain and simple, if 1 person hides the entire match it happens rarely. You all need to stop complaining about not getting a free 4th kill.

Now don't go denying that isn't what this is about when in in fact it is, you want that free 4th kill that you didn't earn because you didn't kill them. You don't deserve that 4th kill unless you earned it by you know killing them plain and simple.

Also how is it a win for the losing team if 3 of them died, a win is zll 4 survivors get out or did logic change because certain killers want it too?

If someone gets out they didn't fail hence they get rewarded for getting out, failing would ,mean all 4 get sacrificed, not just 3.I'll give you a quote from an old but great movie.

" I once told you, Ryan, if only one gets out, it's a victory."

So no the game isn't rewarding anyone for failure, it's rewarding someone for actually making it out alive. Oh and before you start on the failure part again let me hit you with some logic here.

If 2 survivors make it out and 2 don't does that mean you as a killer failed or that the 2 that made it out failed because they lived?

1 … 49 50 51 52 53 … 106
