My question is not about the video, but the overall argument that if something does not occur in 100% of matches, it's not significant enough to be fixed.
By the same token when a killer 4k's with 0 gens done at 2 minutes that's not an issue that doesn't need to be fixed either? Also using a baby killer at red ranks is the most trollish thing that could be done.

It's clearly working so well.
Because everytime someone comes to the forums, Reddit and or Steam and complains about being banned for dcing means it's not working.
Oh and there's this pesky thing called privacy rules and laws, perhaps you've heard of those you know the ones. Where they can't disclose actions taken against someone's account without violating said laws and rules.
Since you're such an upstanding member of the community you'd be willing to indemnify them for any and all legal costs associated with them breaking said laws and rules. Now we all know that's never going to happen because you don't actually care about anything other than bashing them.

It's because of MoM. It was the last straw for a lot of people. They're left with either Nurse, Billy, or Legion. They don't feel like they have much choice left.
Cough malarkey cough, Legions have been high play rate since the exploit was discovered and with the 2nd one even more so. The whole this perk caused this nonsense is just that nonsense.

I find it ironic and a bit hypocritical you say babies not liking it yet do exactly what you're saying they'd do. If anything the one that needs to take some Tequila with that salt is you oh and the below is apt for you.

Just to let you know, moris and op add-ons are still a thing because insta-heals and genrush are still a thing...
Hmmmn mori's and op addons repeated uses, insta heal 1x use and medkits destroyed. 1 can remove the survivor from the game instantly, 1 can't.

On THIS I agree. A system that actively tracks who did what and penalizes those who did nothing or little to nothing all game.
I've been trying to come up with a way to do a contribution based system towards overall objectives, ie totems, gens, kiting the killer, unhooks (SAFE ONLY unsafe penalizes you), healing both yourself and others etc.
But the issue is how easy/hard is it to code, what are good numbers, does the emblem system have to completely change (most likely yes) etc.

That might be you just being unlucky, as I've been playing a lot and only seen it once, that or it's something with the PS4.
Now if you want to talk about annoying bugs the pallet vacuum is back and with a vengeance. I've had the pallet slam go off perfectly the killer gets stunned and then gets vacuumed to the same side of the pallet as me.
-
Haven't seen that one yet nor heard about it so hopefully it's a rare bug and gets fixed quickly.

How about when one person does all 5 gens, but then the last survivor, who's done nothing all game, sits on hatch and waits for the person who did all the gens to die on their first hook?
It happens sadly but that doesn't mean you punish everyone else for the actions of 1 person. You punish the 1 person which is why contribution points would be so nice.

Prayer Beads are fine, Premonition, Spine Chill ect. counter it.
If you don't like to play around it with gen tapping use those perks.
This I run them occasionally and smart survivors as well as ones that run that perk can generally avoid getting hit let alone grabbed.
I've never once been gen grabbed by a Spirit running those except when I wanted that last 1-2% ona gen.

And the killer should move at 400% movement speed, cause there are four survivors with 100% speed.
Wait shouldn't it be 1600% speed since they've got 16 perks, despite always being accused of always running the same 4 meta perks.
Introducing the new and improved Nurse, she's evolved so much she put's even Billy to shame. That's right folks you're guaranteed to 4k in every match and if you can't well you can always play Civ 5.

Well theoretically that’s how it should go. However, the way the game is now, SURVIVORS can run their best perks and effectively be jacks and jills of all trades meanwhile killers must continuously sacrifice parts of their gameplay because there’s no longer enough room with 4 perks to cover the necessities to play a decent game.
Red rank survival rate pre emblem changes below 50% says hi by the way and yet good and or great killers still can 4k most of the time.
-
If not just no, it'd be the killer equivalent of Mom but on Nurse level steroids.

Also remove the bloodpoints from escaping through the hatch. Its another stupid mechanic where you are rewarded for playing bad.
It's funny you say that but if I as a survivor do 3 gens and the other 3 potatoes feed the killer endless rehooks who's being rewarded for playing bad again? The killer got rewarded because 2 stupid people gave them free kills while 1 person did 3 gens and tries for hatch.
You could say the same or Noed for bad killers that apply little to no gen pressure because they're bad. Only hook 1 person the entire game well don't worry you cans till mori them even if you sucked the entire game.
As for the op the points were already made about the double standard there.

Without the pause, there's no real downside to hitting a good skill check. And the strength of the perk assumes survivors can't hit great ones.
Ruin might need a slight buff tbh, certainly doesn't need the pause on progression removed.
That's the issue with all these buff ideas, good or even great survivors can and will hit those. It's muscle memory now and how you'd be doing is punishing newer players and the casuals.

Thats not actually true if you look at the peak players for Saturday on the free weekend it was just under 34k, the previous saturday was 22k.
Even Mondays 24h peak has been 24k when last Monday was 18k.
It's also currently number 16 in steam global top sellers.
It's also not like there's not a lot of competition for playing time with all the other games that've recently come out or added DLC.
-
I thought that it would be an amazing perk on Nurse but then I realized that it only works with basic attacks. RIP....
I've seen some red rank Nurses using it with M&A and then being sneaky floating around faking people out with blinks thrown in to mind game.
-
Survivor Mains can complain about camping and tunneling all they want, but I will take that any and every day compared to the sensory control survivors have over the Killer.
You do realize that solo's will also proc audio alerts when doing things and you should probably just go play something else then. Since people are't just magically out to get you as much as you think.
Now given you think this is even remotely true suggests that perhaps this isn't the game for you because you can get just as many audio alerts on survivor side. I mean it's not like people can't vault near you, blow up gens repeatedly near you.

@powerbats But wouldn't a looper with good teammates get more points in total than a looper with bot-mates? (Because the bot isn't working on gens and doesn't generate points.)
Please don't forget the @ tag.
Yeah but how do you determine it from match to match though, I mean the other 3 could be great in 1 match but horrible in the next and vice versa. I mean you could have it be that the more the others do in relation to the botter so to speak the higher the group reward for participating is.
But then that's probably a royal pain to try and code if you take the 2 doing something while the looper keeps occupied. You also wouldn't get 5 gens with just 2 on gens since eventually the killers going to down the looper or switch targets.
@NoShinyPony I'm not sure why the tagging isn't working properly.
-
I posted a suggestion on how to fix it in another thread so it's not so much of an issue especially with other perks.
Personally, I'm really interested to see them address this whole fiasco, as it certainly has a lot of people riled up, but I don't see them being able to placate anyone at this point. It won't quote properly but where's what i wrote in response along with the idea and it gives both sides something.
" But wouldn't that just make it that much more strong though say someone heals you when the killer either slugs or sees a bright Red cape (aka Matador). So you got them down in 2 hits and they get back up via heals/ instas/UB etc.
I think 3 is fine but it should have some drawbacks like once you get that 3 hit you're now exhausted for 120/90/60 seconds.
That and or to get it to reset and perhaps have a lower exhaustion cooldown (doesn't have to be both) you have to perform a "SAFE UNHOOK".
So you'd have your 1 guaranteed usage of the perk but after that you'd have to do something Altruistic which fits the thematic aspect.
To keep you from simply recharging at will give the safe unhook a 120/90/60 second cooldown timer."

@NoShinyPony said:
Dream transition should interrupt actions. No other killer has to watch helplessly as gens get finished, totems get cleansed, survivors get unhooked or healed, exit gates get opened right in front of their eyes.
Also, Adrenaline shouldn't wake up survivors.
Interrupting actions yes because you're getting sleepy or make the interaction speed slower the closer you get to being slept.
Adrenalines fine as far as waking up goes, but if you're asleep and injured it only wakes you up but doesn't heal you or give you a boost of speed.
Now if you're in the dying state it wakes you up and heals you to injured but not full and in both cases you still have exhaustion and no speed boost.

Your concept works when you play together with good survivors who do their job. But there's a problem when you play with people who just sit in a corner and hide.
I'd like a different approach: The amount of points for a category shouldn't be limited. You loop the killer for 5 gens, then you get a super high amount of points for that category. I'm referring to both pipping and bloodpoints.
Well it could also be based on overall contribution as well so for instance you loop the killer for 5 gens. That should get you more points in it's category but also distraction and teamwork points.
If you work on lots of gens while that person looping you'd get more contribution points, do lots of totems and some gens same. But the person doing nothing the entire game just waiting aka the bot gets nothing.

Not necessary. Blood lust just needs to effect window vaulting.
Agreed, losing it to vault is kinda silly if you can still see them within x distance.
-
One way you can also judge is in a game without any hook offerings from either side the distance between each hook is 16 meters. So if you're standing at one hook and can see clearly in the distance to say 2 hooks lined up.
Then that's roughly 32 meters give or take depending on angles and where you're standing as well as which direction the hook is facing.

you can deny it all you want but everyone already knows MoM is now the best survivor perk in the game, especially because it compliments the preexisting survivor meta of adrenaline/dead hard very well
you also claim that everyone runs the new perks every time, this is totally untrue
nobody ran kates perks, the only one of adams perks that saw any play was deliverance, nobody ran anything other than distortion and nobody runs any of janes perks except poised sometimes, you’re just flat out in denial at this point.
So 1 perk that's not that bad on it's own but like says DS was with AD it's now the best perk in the game. Oh and don't lie, everyone runs the new perks when they come out or have all you whiny killer mains been lying these past 8 months everytime they come out?
Bahahaha nobody ran Kates perks or Adams, ok now we all know for a fact you're just flat out lying. For the final proof nobody ran anything but Distortion, I guess all those broken hooks from Breakdown were all illusions.
That must mean all the killer rnat threads over all those perks that nobody ran were just figment of the forums imagination.
Oh so no ones been running Head On so I guess all the killer and survivor complaints about it means no ones run it.
Now we have total and incontrovertible proof you're just a typical troll as we all suspected and you proved it all on your own.

Spirit's my favorite and I play some different perk loadouts depending on whether I want to go jumpscare or speed and tracking.

To be fair, Blizzard fails because they refuse to actually address the problem in a meaningful manner. They make players like xqc and effect owl players and in effect’s case, bow down to his petty behavior. They refuse to address the systemic hatred for Symmetra and off meta players and as a result, off meta players are often false reported into suspension.
Hiding names will do nothing in dbd, and I say that as someone who has a word in their psn name that can trigger unwanted behavior. It will just protect toxic survivors from justifiable retribution.
The names will still show up in game but pre game lobby it's used more for dodging and going after someone because they were good. The same as when survivors knew the killer and could predict what killer they were playing.

It would almost be like cleansing a hex totem yeah =)
Which takes 15 seconds at least and you could still be found and imagine that, not one of you comes to the forums and WHINES when it gives you time.
You don't come and WHINE when you get kills because of it or when it stays up most if not all of the trial.
It's high risk high reward yet you can only complain when the risk doesn't pay off but when it does it's absolute silence.
The height of hypocrisy.

@NoxiousOnnyyxx said:
We should be able to see the killers name in the lobby....I mean why not? They can see ours..Like all the time...
No because it'd get abused just like it did before and MLGA is already a thing both sides use and once dedicated servers come out won't be an issue anymore. If they hide profile names as well even better.
The problem with showing perks is you've got all the streamers who enjoy getting sniped so killer suddenly sees everyone's perks as well. The only way it'd work as if profiles were still hidden in game.
Your other major problem is then you'd just get people griefing each other, wait I'm running WGLF you can't run it too etc. Then the old well those perks suck, change them to my best perks tier list etc.

i see a lot of cannabalizing between survivors honestly. It’s heart breaking.
It's gotten even worse with the emblem changes, I've never been sandbagged on purpose so many times in such a short amount of time. I understand the accidental stuff happening because hey it happens but when you knowingly run a killer to someone with or without Bond to lose the killer good grief.
If I'm the killer and i figure out you did it on purpose then they go you stay and play with me.

"players will keep a list of survivors who T-bag, flashlight click, noise spam, etc, and save mori’s EXCLUSIVELY for them."
And the problem is what, exactly? If someone was acting like a douche and I get them again in a later match, you're damn right I'm going to make their life miserable in return.
Prime example of the problem with today's generation - they honestly believe that they should be as much of a dick as they want and suffer no repercussions.
Tell me, if I walked up and slapped you upside the head with a crowbar, would you be jumping for joy seeing me again an hour later? Same logic.
The thing is you shouldn't see it until in game and a lot of time it's not because they tea bagged you nor flashlight clicked you. Both sides use the well they were toxic to me excuse when quite often they just outplayed you.
That sneaky immersed player that did gens and unhooks and you never found toxic, that killer that out mind gamed you and outplayed you at the pallet, toxic.

This would actually do so much. Having to cleanse them all because you aren't sure which one's real would add a lot of time to the killers. Not to mention how much easier the flame makes it to see and hear.
But then you remove the downside of taking a Hex though and get all the benefits of it. The sound notification would be a huge QOL change.
There's another good QOL change though that'd help immensely and that's taking out both the notification that Thrill is in play on Dulls but also the longer cleansing time.
What you can then do is make it so that totems have as well as chests have 2 options for interaction with.
The sneaky and quiet interaction which takes twice as long but is completely silent and the normal interaction which is noisy.
If you go slow you should get more points for being more stealthy since you're taking that much longer and thus putting yourself at more risk of being found. When searching chests slowly you get better loot than just commons because you're basically taking more time.
Now if you go the current fast speed then you make the same amount of noise or even increase the audio detection range some. You'd also get less points for either one or the current.

This isn't a new meta and you know it, every patch when new stuff gets released everyone runs it.

pathetically hypocritical.

and yet here you are desperately defending an incredibly problematic perk
Looks like you're back to your usual trolling since you can't refute what I said yet again, those pesky facts keep ruining you.
Hmmn you all said Deliverance and Diversion were meta the same week they were out, and as the shine wore off gasp they became niche.
Then Jeff came out and gasp you said those were going to be meta now and gasp they quickly became niche.
Then Jane came out and you all said the same thing and they quickly became niche.
Then Ash came out and gasp it's not even been a week oh wah it's becoming meta now, i mean it's not like people didn't do this every time a new survivor perks came out.
Oh wait yes they did, new survivor comes out and everyone plays survivors and then gets teachables on favorite character.
Then after playing with new perks for a week or 2 they become niche and most people go back to their favorite builds just like always.
But hey don't let actual facts and game history get in the way of your lies again, I mean because if you did you'd have to admit you're wrong yet again.
Ah yes more trolling, couldn't refute my point so resort to more trolling, don't you ever get tired of posting that nonsense.
Let's see me saying a perk that's new and is problematic and will get fixed is me defending said perk. Wow that's some crazy logic, did you learn that on 4Chan or just throw cow patties at a board on the wall for ideas.
Oh and the devs have said they're monitoring it and most likely a fix at least for the killers that aren't ignoring it will hit next week.
But go ahead and keep making excuses like always, when the next survivor comes out you and the rest of the hysterical habitual whiners on here will say the perks are op. Then it'll be they're going to become meta.
After a few weeks they'll become niche just like always and you'll try and find some new excuse to blame your poor gameplay on. Then a new survivor will come out and you'll do it all over again.
The rest of us will be here laughing at you all for making yourselves look foolish like always. Again when you're ready to leave your fantasy world of make believe the rest of the responsible ones here will be waiting.

Remember when you said that insert x perk(s) here would be op and meta and after a few weeks they became niche. Like how it is after every PTB and patch all you whiny killer mains say the same the sky is falling nonsense and get made to look foolish everytime.
Now to hit you with that thing you hate most LOGIC:
- It's almost as if a new character didn't just drop and people aren't excited to either play them and or try their new perks.
- It's almost as if this doesn't happen every patch cycle when new killers/survivors are released that everyone plays the new killer /survivor.
- It's almost as if everytime people don't play with the new killer and perks as well then try them out on other killers.
- It's almost as if this isn't a recurring theme with the same whiny killer mains spouting the same childish nonsense everytime.
- It's almost as if once the new toy shine wears off people don't go back to running their favorite builds again as usual.
- It's almost as if the new perks will become niche just like they do every time
- It's almost as if a new perk once released if problematic doesn't get patched shortly thereafter.
Oh wait all the above are actually facts and logically accurate and once again prove my points.

The issues seems to come and go where it works just fine one match then the next you can't get off the hook and instead go to phase 2. It's like it doesn't register the last tick of the unhook and thus thinks you cancelled it.
