oh wow, that’s creepy, but I’m glad you were ok!

I’ve always wanted a Chucky doll so I would have definitely been a customer. 👀

I grew up in an extremely religious environment so I wasn’t allowed to even watch Chucky let alone have a Chucky doll. 😂

Needless to say I’m still looking for the perfect Chucky doll to join my small collection of horror figures/trinkets etc.

Oh man, that's a bummer. These were the "life size" Chucky dolls. People loved terrorizing their young children with them for some reason. Maybe Spencer's Gifts still sells them?

  • I mean, why shouldn't survivors loop? It's how we win. Should we just run straight, never look back, and die? If you want to learn Spirit and Nurse, go for it. No salt here. I just don't understand being frustrated that good survivors are good at the game.

f13 the game always ran worse on console, but no one really cared because it wasn't competitive. It ran on Unreal too

Console is treated differently because of certification regarding updates. They need to be tested and passed and they have to pay them to do that. I think that can take like a week too

Okay, so there is another game that you say was worse on console than PC. Even if that's true, so what? It doesn't mean that DBD hasn't always treated PC players better than console players. I'm not complaining about an update taking longer. It's absurd that other far more complicated games can run perfectly on console when DBD can't. How many different types of consoles are there vs how many different types of PC configurations are there? It's absurd.

I am so happy to see that they are going for the classic Chucky look for this.

what do you Chucky fans think? 😄

True story: When I was a teenager I worked at a store that sold Chucky dolls and I was putting them away one time and there was a "piece of glass" in the box and I ended up in the emergency room.

He needs to be in DBD. I want revenge.

Personally haven't encountered single Wraith who doesn't act like it's personality trait to be dickhead

    LOL

But I actually have more fun against Bubbas than Wraiths now. I've always had fun against Bubba, and he has counters (unless he just blatantly facecamps). Wraiths? I get hit during my 150% Balanced Landing burst now (I had to stop using Dead Hard since the game is borderline unplayable on console). If a Wraith has any idea of what they're doing, you wont see them, you can't hear them, and they're so fast you will be hit, period. It's just not fun to play against. They went too far with his buff.

  • @Tsulan said:

Her hitboxes are fine. Don´t believe me? Just play as her against survivors that actually know how to dodge her hatchets.

I love getting hit through walls :)

  • @BenZ0 said:

I doubt they do it on purpose to specificly annoy you. Thats why they are called bugs "Something unwanted and annoying".

Console has always been treated differently than PC though, and it's pretty frustrating. Other games that are far more complicated don't have the issues that DBD does with PC vs console optimization.

  • @Warcrafter4 said:

Ok we found someone who clearly never played with the wraith before his buffs or just want wraith to go back to F tier so they can bully him more.

Every time a killer complains about being "bullied," a survivor gets a purple flashlight out of the bloodweb.

It's a problem because currently, the wait time for a lobby as a Killer is significantly longer than the wait time as a Survivor.

Also, with regard to the OP, when 4 Survivors line up in the lobby with flashlights, they are looking to punk the Killer, early and often. Best to reshuffle that deck yourself when you see it. Or run Lightborn, and punk them instead. :)

Oh. So now that killers have a long wait time it's a problem. LUL. And if they had stayed, OP would be complaining about flashlight saves and clicking.

Or the survivors are looking to make flashlight saves. Maybe it's for hag. Maybe it's to blind the killer at pallets to give themselves a little more time. Maybe it's for zombies since Nemesis is so popular right now. Maybe survivors can equip whatever they want and leave lobbies if they choose.

It's a problem that they're bringing flashlights, and it's a problem that they leave, huh? I guess they should just be removed.

  • I have seen more Myers running Judith's Tombstone during this event than I've seen in the last year and a half combined. It's kinda funny. But sad.

  • There are

    survivors perks

    that are made useless

    by killer perks

    and add ons

    too

Ghostfaces always seem to be not necessarily sweaty, but toxic when I face them. Same with Pig. They tend to not give two shits about playing nice and camp + tunnel more often (aswell as tbag).

Sweaty however, I'd say Nurses, Spurits and Hags. They don't necessarily play toxicly, but they often mass slug early in the game and are extremely efficient with their power.

I agree that Ghostfeces are the worst. They try so hard, they're usually bad, and they tend to hit me on the hook and facecamp me because I had the gall to put 1500+ hours into this game and get pretty good at being chased. Like I forced him to chase me for four gens.

I do see tons of Pigs who tunnel but they're usually just bad and they tunnel the person with the trap for some reason.

  • @xEzekanarioX said:

Why havent the devs fixed this issue?!?!?!?!?!? Its not healthy for the game, plus the survivor in the hook barely gets any points, and its boring!

-Also you finding a bubba once every 50 matches. Camping is not boring, YOU are boring. Stop crying.

Yeah I had a Bubba bring a cake yesterday and then legit facecamped everyone. A couple of us had BT so we tried to make saves but it's kinda bullshit even with that perk he can mow both people down. Not sure why people do that. I guess they're immature and they think ruining the game for that one person is funny?

  • Not sure why that's a problem.

  • @D3spair said:

Totems are considered High Risk High Reward but most totems I get are gone in 30 seconds because survivors are spawning on them, They're in the open, besides a Gen and Survivors have perks to find them.

This is not cool. Why does BHVR keeps on buffing Survivors to find totems?

Totems are literally harder to find than they have ever been. I used to ALWAYS run Small Game (which has been nerfed). The totems themselves are harder to see, even with Small Game. The spawns have changed a bit. Indoor maps? Good luck finding them, even with any totem finding perk. If you get a totem in the corn? You have to literally trip over them to find them.

You know the risk you're taking with a Hex perk. If you don't think it's worth it, stop running them.

  • @SasukeKun said:

Still can't use my RPD offerings...still waiting...still not update?

Yeah I've had the map maybe 5-6 times and it's a nightmare.

  • @Bearded_Owl said:

I just don't get why people do it, maybe it annoys the killer and it causes them to change how they play?

But look, when it happens and I play survivor, the game gets ruined, it often causes killers to get annoyed by it (rightly so), they often stop trying to play and will tunnel/camp, everyone ends up with low bloodpoints cause no one can save or get chased.

Bring flashlights, gets saves with them, that's great! Stop being a total waste of space in a match and ruining the experience for everyone else!

People are never going to stop. Yes, the point is to annoy the killers. I only ever do it when a killer is hard tunneling and I hope that I can annoy them enough they will chase me and leave whatever poor soul they happened to find first. I have never had a game ruined because a killer STARTS to tunnel because someone clicked a flashlight, nor have I had a killer give up because of clicking. And even if they did, how is it any different than all the killers who are afk from the start so they can derank?

  • Any map that's not indoor, for the love of god.

  • @ImHexyAndINoed said:

This goes for killer or survivor

I play nice all the time, which probably blows the mind of a lot of killer mains, but I do. I see teammates being toxic and I'm like, if you get hooked, you're on your own. I purposely let killers hit me out just for extra points if they didn't camp, tunnel, and slug, which is extremely rare. I stay at the gates and let noob Nurses and Huntresses get hits on me when I'm guessing the poor soul playing is just doing it for a daily challenge. I stay behind and let the entity kill me sometimes when killers are just meme'ing or crown hunting. If someone DC's and the killer decides to farm (incredibly rare these days), I stay behind about half the time. Most of those instances, the killer downs me and walks me to the gate.

When I play killer, I often let go good survivors even if I down them. I don't mean particularly skilled, but good teammates who take risks and help their fellow survivors out, and not the Claudettes who did nothing risky the entire game.

    Damn I wish

I mean, he is so fast and with his lunge, I get hit while while I'm in my three seconds 150% Balanced Landing, so kinda? I don't know if I'd say OP, but I think they went too far with his buff. You can't hear him, you can rarely see him, and he's so fast, you will get hit, period. It's not fun to play against by any means. Will the devs admit they made a mistake and rebalance him? Probably not.

I’m a fan of the map, but I also understand there is instances where the map is just bad for both sides.

So far I’ve only had one bad experience in this map. Against a slugging pig with knockout.

    That sounds miserable.

  • I don't mind any killer, really. The thing I mind is the choice that players make, like slugging three people at five gens when there is a DC. I just will never understand why people have to do that.

I like going against Billy and Oni. I just think their powers are really fun and they need to be respected.

  • @Northener1907 said:

    Title. And why?

    I wanted twice.

First time was survivors were so strong with infinite loops. It was so unfair, i am so glad they fixed this. Because i was so near to stop play this game.

Second time, they reworked my fav killer. I tried new version but i never felt again i am playing with Freddy anymore.

I have stopped playing the game for months on two occasions. The longest was almost a year when the tomes came out. It's a pretty miserable experience for solo survivors who just want to play the game when all three teammates have no intention of playing the game because they're trying to do a challenge. Or they purposely get you killed so they can try to get a flashlight save for the challenge. Etc etc.

If you don't know the layout, how do you know the map is bad? Is it bad because you refuse to learn the layout?

YES I REFUUUUUUSE TO LEARN IT. That's is. Absolutely.

Yeah it’s just survivor players that have to deal with issues. Killers should babysit the survivors so they can feel better.

  • @Arachne said:

Anyone feels bad for new survivor players? Looping isn't really that good anymore ever since they added so much anti-loop killer and perks like bamboozle. Game feels much more faster. Not to mention problems like facecamping with Leatherface is still not punishable yet (seriously how do people/devs not see this as a problem?). Sitting on hooks for a whole trial isn't fun gameplay. Sh#*, I would refund the game if I know the first time that was a thing. Also just wanna add, some perks are pay2win. Maybe they could make grinding/getting some of these way easier.

It's never been easier to play killer, and the game is already harder for new survivors than killers. I don't know why new players stick with this game with the constant camping and tunneling. It would be interesting to see how many players stick with it who came in for the RE DLC. Anyone who thinks new survivor vs new killer is the same is delusional.

  • This is the most toxic playerbase I've ever seen and I've been playing games since the 80s. I get messages on Playstation constantly, to the point where I have notifications turned off, and sometimes I turn off messages entirely from people I don't know. I'd just avoid it at all costs, to be honest. People are nasty.

  • @Orion said:

Did the consoles not get the BP and shards? And what's advantageous about playing the PTB, exactly? You don't get anything out of it.

I mean, considering PC and console play differently, the fact that the game is tested on PC is kinda, I dunno, unfair? For how long did giveaways with new DLC only happen for PC players? PC players get a game that works, an extended event, and extra BP and shards because the game is broken on console. The devs have always treated PC players way better than console players and it's pretty frustrating.

For me its boring to play survivor with other good survivors. We cant play to win bc then we would win almost everytime. So i need to play solo and hope i get an interesting match. (Interesting means that both sides have a chance to win)

That's one of the most amazing things I've ever seen.

  • @Power_Guy said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2360988#Comment_2360988

Here's the thing; NO ONE wants to 'stay in an unfun game'. The problem being, most people DON'T LIKE LOSING!

So no DC penalty turns 'I'm losing!' into 'I'm not having fun! DCs'. And thus, no Killer/Survivor can ever finish a match as people DC for 'not enjoying the match' when they start losing.

NOW do you get why the DC penalty exists? Or is 'your fun' the only metric that matters, and everyone should make sure you're happy, lest you DC! 🤦‍♂️

Oh thank you. I really appreciate you explaining it to me. I was too stupid to understand why the DC penalty existed before you came along. Please, continue to ignore what I said, put words in my mouth, and project your own thoughts onto me. FACEPALM

  • @Power_Guy said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2360975#Comment_2360975

You're acting like this is the only game with a DC penalty.

'It's stupid that this game forces people to stay in when they want out, and because if that, I play less and less.'

Literally EVERY small-squad PvP game has DC penalties so selfish players don't ruin the fun. DBD did not invent DC penalties.

I don't play any other game that has DC penalties. It is not literally every small-squad PVP game. Again, I never said DBD invented them. It's not fun being forced to stay in a game you want out of. I love that you turned me saying I'M STUCK IN A GAME to YOU DC CONSTANTLY AND RUIN IT FOR EVERYONE

  • @ChiSoxFan11 said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2360860#Comment_2360860

I hope you're letting your fellow survivors know in the pre-game lobby that you'll plan to DC at any available opportunity if things don't go the way YOU want them to. I'm sure they'd appreciate that heads-up, so they can bail to another lobby with actual "teammates", and not myopic-thinking indiviudals who ignore the consequences of their actions on the experience of others.

At what point did I say that? I have never cared when my teammates or killers DCed before, and I don't care now. It's stupid that this game forces people to stay in when they want out, and because if that, I play less and less. I'm not sure how you turned that into "I'm going to DC every time I'm downed," but go off, sis. I'm not even sure why I'm bothering to respond when you seem unable to comprehend the words I typed, or you're just blinded by your own projections.

  • It's not fun, it's unskilled, and it makes the game unplayable for the person you decided to tunnel. But you can do whatever you want and no none here is going to change your mind.

  • I don't think he's OP but he definitely wrecks against newer players. Once survivors get better, he's not as much of a problem. But of course killer mains want him to be buffed, because every killer has to be able to get a 4k in every situation, no matter what.

  • I never cared if people DCed before and I don't care now. What I do care about is being forced to stay in a game I don't want to play anymore, because the killers slugs because they know I want out, or because I can't kill myself on hook anymore. All of these changes along with the DC penalty make me play the game less and less.

Yes, that's common for indoor maps, since you can't see very far in any particular direction. You'll learn the layout, eventually.

I have more than 1500 hours in this game, but thanks for the advice. And I have no desire to learn the layout. It's a garbage map that is bad for both killers and survivors.

  • Why can't you play her? Is it because you don't get 4ks every game and anything but that is just not worth it?

  • Why do good survivors need to be nerfed? If I have thousands of hours in the game and have learned maps and have game sense, why should I be punished?

  • If you're on PC, don't read the chat. If you're on console, turn off your messages. It's not complicated.

I'm actually starting to like Midwich now too because I've been getting it so much. And yeah, the new Coldwinds are awful.

Once the crashes are fixed, none. Players DC, maps don't DC for them.

35 minutes sounds like it was very tense, which is kinda the reason why you play survivor in the first place.

Yeah running around being unable to find a generator or figure out how to get to a Jigsaw box, or to a slugged teammate, or to a hooked teammate, or back to a gen once a found one? Absolutely thrilling.

Nows the perfect time to use cakes & bps, but now I'm rarely getting matches where even a single cake is being used. And before anyone asks, yes I DO feel entitled to other people's cakes.

I get one cake per seven or eight bloodwebs on my P3 Nea. And I am not giving double BP to killers who camp, tunnel, and slug every game, no matter what. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
