What aspects of HP Lovecraft do you find make the books stand out most to you as a reader?

Unless you're actively harassing a sole player for a malicious reason, then there's no wrong or incorrect way to play the game, trapper is the worst killer in the game (imo) even though he is dbd's poster boy.
However instead of asking "will this give me a better fighting chance" ask yourself "Will this make the game more fun for me" tunneling and camping have always been a part of the game, and will remain so indefinitely. You come off as a decent person who cares about others fun, however try not to sabotage your own fun in the process, moat will get upset yes, but a game or two later moat people will realise "eh, Dwight was hooked next to a 3 gen"
Good luck BTW with getting better with Trapper! The forum has alot of experienced Trapper mains that might help you out!

Interesting you bring that up bestie! It use to be 100%, personally I think the 75% should remain, primarily because not everyone runs exhaustion perks so those players could pretty much eliminate one of the killers tracking method for no drawbacks, I believe that's the reason it could have been nerfed to begin with

Welcome to what Hexy dubs the "Cannon Fodder" rank! Survivor teammates are useful only for feeding the 8k hour nurse's mmr whilst you killer is used to train and bully tourney players to HOPEFULLY keep them happy and spending on feet cosmetics!

Killer games are awesome...at set times. Morning to afternoon are fairly chilled, I often get 1 to 3 very strong loopers and 1, maybe 2 weaker loopers. Chases can be fun but punishing
Roughly about Night it gets more interesting as most people are on until about 11ish. Higher Chance of SWF group but ALSO a chance at a lobby full of journeyman survivors. Roll of the dice basically either very good players or very bad, games are either cutting it close and entertaining or lame and quick
Off hours 12 am until morning....no...no no no, no thank you.

Tbh I often run distortion because it' gives away the killers build. Provided you're paying attention you can easily determine what add ons or perks a killers running as long as its aura related. Same reason I ran detectives hunch when ruin-undying was meta.

I would have to say no, I've met many players at p30, 40, even a TTV Feng who was near rank 70! I outperformed her in our game...and I'm bad at survivor.
Try not to be fooled by numbers. Someone with no prestige could be a loop god, a high prestige could very well be the teams weak link trying to compensate (now that I think about it that's a decent strategy...)

For everything in-between, there's Whispers. No seriously, this perk is not half bad for learning survivor tendencies in the end game. I suggest trying it out for a bit, as it can also help in the early and mid-game.
If you don't have any perks to help you, keep an eye out for scratch marks and birds leaving or returning.
Edit: It is worth noting... If you are in it for the long-haul, and you genuinely want to improve at any part of the game, it is worth running certain perks (even if they don't synergize well with any one build), so that you can focus your learning. In this case, Whispers and No Way Out should be used while you are learning how to play the end game.
I'll definitely give whispers I shot, I used it alot on Huntress when I practiced her.
And I forgot about birds completely. Would you recommend running spies to help?
I'll keep that in mind, I'll try the perks until I'm comfortable

I tend to play more survivor then killer, however every night before I go to bed I check my closet for the god tier Hag Michi. I fear the one who can beat the sun in a staring contest

I can only speak from my own experience, but I noticed this tends to happen on lead up to a new chapter. Most folks tend to break abit before new content drops (ie Dredge comes out soon) so it's likely those that are still playing the game are the hardcore. The game tends to go back to normal when the content drops

If you struggle with online toxicity I recommend playing for awhile with messages off(or friends only) and see how you do. It's easy on console and changes (Public-to friends only vice versa) are instant. I personally have used it while practicing blight and it's made it more fun and less of a headache.

As far as I know, it's only a visual bug, you are not actually exposed. Just check Myers blade, if he holds it normally (pointing upwards) you are not exposed, if he's in "stabbing stance", you are exposed.
I'll definitely keep that in mind the next time I go up against a myers. Can't lie hexy gets scared at the visual bug. It's like a fun challenge but ik tricking myself. Cheers dad

I'd have to guess it boils down to nemmy snd cenobite being licenced characters. Unfortunately adding outfits for licenced characters isn't like adding outfits for non licenced characters. There's extra steps involved

If a killer is camping...with insidious...the survivor should look directly at the killer, if both the players are looking at eachother directly... both side give the bird to eachother until a save/survivor dies.

Weird take, but let her savour the first few hours where the game is fresh and scary, after afew hours that dips and its the game the rest of us know and love to hate. Maybe let her play without perks at first to really capture the fear factor, then give her a decent perk, then a stronger one.
As for killer, try and pickout afew killers you think shed like and let her play afew rounds. Or better yet. Let her try every killer, personally I wasn't expecting to find Artist fun when I tried her last week but I've been playing her nonstop all week. Unexpected. It boils down to preference really but she may be suprised to find say...oni alot of fun

Hexy ended up pulling his hair for 5 minutes trying to find 4 perks beginning with a but didn't have an L or an E
Ik I listed 5 perks, I just am not sure what's better between Appraisal *second chance at a chest,* or AITH *higher rarity and addon chance*
I'll update with how my natch goes /how many attempts it takes me! I might try a different letter next this seems fun
