The last 24h test looked promising. I had nice (not total sweatfest) matches both as killer and survivor. So i´m looking forward to the release.
If it takes them a little longer to fine-tune this, i don´t mind. But i hope it releases with the next chapter.
Indeed, I had much fairer matches as Killer and Survivor. :D

Outcome basis is hard to determine during a 4vs1. The guy that avoided the killer all match, didn´t touch gens but escaped through the hatch and ended with 11k points. Did he win? Or that other guy that repaired 3 gens, got 5 unhooks and looped the killer for 5 minutes but died during the EGC. Did he lose?
Yep, that's why they're taking a long time to fine-tune those decisions.
-
Remember when Self Care allowed you to heal mid-chases? Or when SB CD recovered while running? The good ol' times.
Sincerely, the game is in a better state than it ever was. You changed.
-
Hear @Tsulan.
We have no idea how the system works. Most ELO-based systems operate on an outcome basis only and do not take into account match details.
-
Detective's Hunch: gives info on possible 3 gen setups, totems, and chest locations.
Stake-Out: awesome for gen jockeys that can land Great Skill Checks and keep the stacks permanently, even better after the latest toolboxes changes.
Repressed Alliance: Prevents Pop and Ruin regression. Amazing for high-level content.
-
Or, you know? Just be used to the fact that chasing a survivor that's not exhausted means they have the perk available.
-
If the broken key had a different model, we could use it for aura reading without triggering killers.
-
Make the untrackable build and escape the chase every 10 seconds:
Lucky Break, Poised, Dance with me, Self Preservation.

This is just absolutely amazing.
Found on Reddit and have kept it close to my heart ever since :D

I want Lady Nemesis and will riot if I don't get it!

It's an addon and quite a powerful one, either Tombstone Piece or Judith's Tombstone.
Watch his left hand in tier 3 (the empty one). Myers usually keeps it closed, but if he is carrying either of the aforementioned addons, his hand will be open.
The best counterplay is to jump in a locker he is too close. He has to grab you and cannot kill survivors on the ground.
-
I got mine today, seems to be working since I've been getting the notification every ECG.
-
Iron Maiden, STBFL, Pop, BBQ for stacks.
If you're in for a loud notification party: Unnerving Presence, Undying, Lullaby, Oppression

I'm pretty sure Feng is also free on some platforms.
Not on PC :(

I'm sorry, only inexperienced survivors know how to counter PH? Did you just seriously suggest that good survivors loop a killer that can't be looped because he will hit you in a locked animation?
Saying PH cannot be looped speaks volumes about your poor attitude when facing him. Keep on the good work.

Not if the survivors are... Vaguely decent.
PH's counterplay is predropping pallets and holding W. Maybe sometimes taking a window. Forcing torment on survivors that know the basics of wasting a killers time is like... Well, as put above, it's like trying to hit a survivor while still Undetectable from Demo's portals. You have to wait for a completely clueless, probably-watching-youtube survivor to come along and feed you the daily.
Only inexperienced survivors go out of their way to avoid stepping on the trail inside a chase. In a simple loop, you can just lay a bit of trail on the pallet and proceed to follow the survivor. If they remain in the area, no matter if they throw the pallet early or not, they need to step on it.
It's not hard to inflict torment. The main issue with the ritual for me is that not all times I want to send someone away to the gulag.
-
It's definitely not uncommon.
DBD is snowbally and if the killer cannot exert map pressure or the survivors cannot disrupt his momentum, the game can easily derail to one side or the other. The mindset of the community regarding catch-up mechanics is also not kind, along with their somewhat unappealing execution. This is as much of a community problem as it is a development one.
-
the 3 other survivors are carrying flashlights.
-
Or inflict torment on 4 survivors. It's easy to do by just laying a few trails while looping.
-
give her The Happily Ever After Potion.
-
That is a hornet nest that is better off avoided for now.
-
Blight overtake Spirit after a bug fix that removed a powerful unintended interaction? Did I get it right?
-
Detective's Hunch gives you visibility on possible 3 gens, totems, and chests. It's a versatile perk that you will find use in every single match.
If you don't want to dedicate a perk slot for that, I would suggest one of two approaches:
- Clear all totems you see. If by any NOED spawns and you get the alert, you know which areas not to search.
- Do NOT clear dull totems at all. If NOED spawns, you know possible locations for it and can rush there to check without wasting time.
Both require that you memorize totem spawn points in all maps and that can be difficult in new/reworked maps.
-
U should be asking for a button to give up instead of reverting that horrible mechanic. On so many occasions a lag spike got me killed bc of that stupid button mashing.
-
That is the intended design.
Survivors have better awareness provided by 3rd person view and more restricted movement, having to control momentum.
Killers have restricted FOV in 1st person while keeping better movement deploying full speed no matter the direction.

Great change. That one killer that kills you by charging straight at you while you're on a hook and unhooking you two feet in front of masked men with chainsaws is really scary and dangerous, but she doesn't have a red stain and I always thought that was kind of OP. This way you'll be warned of her approach.
(But seriously, I'd love this. Dark Devotion's already a bit of a meme perk and this would make it absolutely hilarious. Survivors would start fleeing each other - it'd be like that effect when you're wearing dark clothes and the killer is Ghostface. Everyone gets so spooked - I'd love to take the illusion a step further.)
I am all for the memes. If Trail of Torment was more common, I would fun Better Together just to scare people.
-
Had a Leatherface do that a few months ago. You need good teammates to break the strategy. Basically, 2 people get on opposite gens and run very early as the killer approaches, outdoor maps or spine chill help a lot here. Unfortunately, it becomes a grinding game and you need to beat him by coordinating assaults.
As a killer, I don't do 3 gens unless I am handed one by the survivors bc I find it boring as hell.
-
You either go Full Jesus Jeff or don't go Jeff at all.
-
How dissatisfied are you with the old addons descriptions? Choose an option below:
- Slightly
- Moderately
- Considerably
- Tremendously
-
Yes, you can even combo both haste effects together.
-
Short answer: No.
Long Answer: free BT as a countermeasure to killer tactics is just a bandaid that won't fix the issue while promoting an unhealthy survivor playstyle. It's better to discourage assholish tactics by making them ineffective either through in-match measures or post-match rewards.

I really don't see any reason to pick it over Detectives Hunch. Detectives show you every totem in a 64m area which is just as good as having a totem counter.
DsH is one of my favorites too.
-
Doc is viable without addons. Watch archdruid drey/dreyalgia content. He plays without addons.
-
Not really sure how they would fix this issue since it seems more related to the terrain than the killer. Maybe give the Blight player more agency?
IDK, maybe make collisions slam on all surfaces, but while holding CTRL you slide instead of slamming. Not even sure if possible though.

The chances of you being killed bc the gates are opened are much higher than leaving them 99.
-
It can be really hard to spot them on the corn. Luckily, I was playing plague and the best advice that I can give you is to focus on the blood pools on the ground if you lose them.
-
He was unhealthy at launch. Faking his power just to proceed with an M1 was incredibly unhealthy.
RN, he is in a much better position. His power requires a fast reaction time to play against and I think he is fun to play and go against.
-
I completed it yesterday. Just puked on them and continued with my day. Eventually, they will be fully infected. If 2 cleanse and you can infect them again, you can complete the challenge in one match.
-
Nah, If anything, AMN needs to show the auras of dropped pallets so you can use it effectively.
-
the current rank doesn't directly correlate to player skill/experience because of a few major issues:
- Any player with an above average pip per match will eventually rank up given enough time. That means that the guy with thousand hours of investment that 1pip or 2 pip every single match will end up in the same place along with the fresh guy that 1pip every 10 games. The difference is just how long it will take.
- There is a hard cap to progression (rank 1) and it is low. Players on red ranks are matched against each other. It doesn't matter if it's the legacy HillBilly that can fly across the map or the first-timer rank 4. That explains the outlandish difference between killers you've seen in red and purple ranks.
- The rank reset was supposed to setback players to compensate for the time investment factor that players can put towards ranking. In reality, it doesn't.

Here we go again.

Have you tried turning her off and on again?
