Killer Perk:
Blood and Plunder: You profit from the hard work of others.
- The auras of open chests within 40 meters are revealed to you.
- Whenever a chest is open (once per chest), it will contain an addon of uncommon or rarer quality.
- You can pick up with those addons using the active ability button. Doing so will fill an empty addon slot or override an addon of an inferior rarity if all slots were filled.
- Blood and Plunder allows you to keep any addons found this way.
-
RIP. Beautiful Soul.
-
Oh well, let's start the campaign for the naked laboratory zombie skin then.
-
Have you tried lasting longer than 3 minutes?
-
bc he's a big boy.
-
Dimitrescu confirmed.
-
A good spirit? you can't. If she didn't pinpoint your location based on sound/visual clues it was her mistake, not your prowess.
-
@Sonzaishinai explained masterfully.
An important skill as a killer is to identify weak links in a team and avoid taking long chases, either bc the survivor is skillful or has a strong setup. If you can keep building momentum, you can drive other survivors away from gens by imposing more immediate priorities such as rescues.
Eventually, they will run out of resources as their items charges dry out and the pallets are destroyed.
-
It's a gimmicky perk with the potential for fun builds. It combos amazingly well with Trail of Torment. Check out Michi's video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nh2CfKtGBio -
The only change I would make to OoO is to modify the periodic aura reveal.
"Whenever you're the obsession and you look at the killer's direction, your aura is revealed to them. This effect lasts for 3 seconds and has a 30 seconds CD."
-
To make sure it's worth the money!
-
Just complementing, if you're having trouble with Boldness, you can always put Saboteur and use on CD on the nearest hook for 500 BP.
Also, carry a medkit with extra Survival BP. For the People also had score events introduced and you can use it to secure an escape or death as the obsession for extra 1500 or 1000 points too.

Okay but please consider Shirtless Ghost Face.
It's a nice way to teach new survivors to look behind in a chase.
-
Since the King our cries for shirtlessness have fallen on deaf ears!
-
Does anyone knows the speed at which "Victor can now move during the pounce success cooldown"?
-
DsH is an overall amazing perk. An unchecked Hex totem can derail most games by itself. Is that a reason to run a totem tracking perk? In a team setting, sure. In a SQ build perk slots are much more valuable.
I run DsH in most of my games bc even when no hex perks are in play, it can easily help me find and break possible 3 gens, find chests in hatch games, or just waste less time looking for gens in indoor maps. Much more versatile than Small Game ever could.

they were disclosed through deduction of both graphs. in 2019, his average killrate at red ranks was 75%. in october 2020, His average kill rate was 70%. The add-on changes impacted his average killrate by 5%. Default base-kit billy did not change, he is still the same. Even if you have problems with overheat mechanic, there is like grey and purple add-on that reduces overheat.
No clue for what scott is complaining about. The reason why he play rate went down from like 6-7 to like 3% is because billy can't compete vs good teams as the add-on that allowed him to compete were erased/plagued with unreasonable drawbacks. I am sure if those add-on returned and they got rid of the baby mode roar at the start of his sprint that give free information to dodge blind curves, he'd go back to where he was.
The statistics came out in October 2020, but the chainsaw update happened on patch 4.1.0 that happened in December 2020. We still don't know the impact of the changes as new statistics were never disclosed after. Billy needs changes to make his base kit less unforgiving IMO.
Scott is basically complaining the devs stated that Billy was overperforming while the statistics given in October pointed he was middle of the pack alongside Doc and Pig. He once again complains about using statistics as a balancing tool. I explained why that his thought process was mistaken in another response to this thread, you should take a look.

It stops survivors from escaping with a key in front of you, sabotaging hooks when your carrying somebody, but when I created a somewhat perk that can counter all of that your already crying about it? There’s counters to it you know, go to a area where there’s no terror radius and then use it if you need it?
Again, perks usually serve a niche. This iteration completely shuts down Sabotage, Flashlight saves, Firecrackers, Medkits for self-care and heal others inside TR (common use in slugging situations), and gen repair with toolboxes inside the TR too (common case in 3 gens). Wish upon a star as hard as you want, the Devs would never approve of something like that.
-
That's too OP. Lightborne alone counters 1 item, this version of OP counters all. In maps like Midwich it would be impossible to use items. Open a hatch inside the TR? impossible. Track auras with a key? no. Sabotage with a toolbox? also no.
-
you should report that in the bug section.
-
Make sure to check for perks and attaching video evidence including the post-match chat to the report if you find it suspicous.
-
The only way to make No Mither viable is to give no indication of its use to the killer. In addition to the proposed changes, I would make the broken status icon not visible.
-
I'd be happy if I could sell items/addons/offerings back at a discount ATM.
-
It is insurance against slugging. In most matches, the killer will pick you up. The ones they don't, Unbreakable is invaluable.
-
I love Midwich, the atmosphere is incredible in that place.
Haddonfield looks dated tho.

its the only info the devs gave us what else is he supposed to go on, the general community from what I saw was confusion as to why they would make the change and they even seem to contradict themselves with their own reasonings. It felt like 2 completely different people wrote those patch notes and 1 wasnt aware they were making changes to his base kit.
They said h was overperforming when he's only a little higher then most killers and around the same as killers like Myers. So I'd say its pretty fair to say its a pretty baffling decision to change his base kit.
The statement "Billy is overperforming" is missing context. By all means, the same can be said of Doc and Pig in October 2020 based on the info we had, but not on the data the Devs possess. The individual impact of addons or even Billy's base kit was never disclosed, just the average of the killer as a whole and even is that is subject of skepticism.
- Averages do not provide a full picture, even for the base kit. Billy is a high skill-cap killer with an unforgiving power. Compare his numbers to Nurse's. She had the lowest Kill Rate but a good Nurse will destroy any survivor team. Her Kill Rate is driven down by the large number of players trying to learn her kit. Would you say she deserves a buff bc she is not effective overall? A nerf maybe to cap the performance of experienced Nurse mains? Nothing and she is fine as is? Adjustments to raise her more friendly to new players and lower her skill ceiling? We don't know the full picture.
- One hypothesis is that some of his addons drove Billy over the edge in a similar way to how Scalped Topknot completely changes Oni. That is the general consensus of the community at last, but once again Scott is comparing Billy to the middle of the pack killers that share a similar Kill Rate. He is a killer with tons of skill expression, something that Doc, Pig, etc are quite limited at. IMO, the nerfs were overdone, but if you compare his stats with Nurse, which has a similar steep learning curve, he was performing well.
-
Off topic here. Why is your avatar in jail? :p

So him going off the information that was made public and using that information to form an opinion is garbage interesting logic tbh.
No, but him deducing a falsehood with incomplete prior information is a naive fallacy at best or malicious speculation at worst.
In his argument, he says he is in accordance with the nerf of billy addons that made insta saw and crackhead billy viable, but the impact of those addons was never disclosed by Behavior. Furthermore, the statistics of Billy without those addons were never disclosed, just the average pick and kill rates of the killer on all ranks/red ranks. That info alone was not sufficient to isolate Billy's performance as a killer.
Also, I said that there were possibly ulterior motives for his nerf (possibly motivated by corporate decisions IMO). That doesn't make Scott's argument more meritable in any way tho.
-
He already got the worst nerf of all.
-
Yep, it's a perk that's meant to be used by new players and thrown away as they develop the ability to hit skill checks. The downside secures it doesn't end as crutches for them.
-
I usually like his content but Scott is talking out of his ass there.
He only has access to one bit of info that was opened by the devs and tries to use that as a valid counter-argument. Not to say there were ulterior motives to the nerf of Hillbilly, but that video is garbage.
-
You can have a genuinely fun experience in SQ, the issue lies on how many miserable ones you get.
-
Don't mind me, just watching the commentaries :D
-
It's one of the small details that can make a huge difference. Not only for killers but survivors too. Crows can alert the incoming presence of stealth killers or teammates.
-
He outbrained you :D
-
It has been a point of contention since forever.
Freddy shares a hitbox with other killers but has the smallest character model. That gives the impression that his hits shouldn't have landed.
-
You can report here: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/categories/bugs
make sure to attach any visual evidence you have. :)

Oh yeah, my friend made me play on his account and I proceed to miss all skill checks and to last 5 seconds in a chase against a trapper. Good times

I've only been playing the game for a few months and you just piqued my curiosity, what's the Hill of Death?
Here's some footage. It lasted like 5 months and not all hills were affected. For a moment, Hills were more feared than killers.
https://youtu.be/g1QNvz_Yxpc -
Haddonfield, but Old Ormond was a close second IMO.
-
Meg, Nea and Claudette are free.
Feng is cute and has popular cosmetics.
All of the above share a small female model that helps them stealth and more advanced things like the inside tech.
-
Like @MadLordJack said, it is a bug. Let's hope it doesn't last as long as the Pallet Stun bug or the Hill of Death.
-
Nope, it's been a learning experience about the game and also myself. The community is a little unempathetic, but not toxic like in MOBAs. The game isn't a time sink like MMORPGs and most of the bugs are hilarious and help break the heavy atmosphere of some matches.
