So outside of his power, he'd just be a garbage killer? Because that's 110% killers in a nutshell.

Spirit isn't a garbage killer even after several nerf passes and she has always been 110%. So, I disagree with your statement that 110% killers are always garbage.

  • Ladies and Gentleman, We got him.

  • Blight add-ons and his mechanics are good. But Blight is undoubtedly over-tuned overall. Therefore I propose reducing Blights move speed to 4.4 m/s. This makes it so that Blight has some counterplay in his kit, which right now he does not.

    • Stealth
    • Mind games
    • Exhaustion perks
    • Lockers
    • Flashlights (ligtburn)
    • Heck, even the occasional perfectly timed pallet drop

That’s six defenses right there, plus I’m sure someone else can chime in some more.

    Edit: flashlights.

There is only 1 legitimate strategy against Nurse and that is to slam generators.

    If:

    1. You slam generators and the player playing nurse hasn't mastered her. It will take her too long to get downs and everyone escapes.
    2. You slam generators but the Nurse has mastered her. Realistically you won't get them all done, but you might get 4 gens done before the game is over.

The one thing i've noticed is once someone is unhooked, they tend to immediately teleport to the closest TV and tunnel the unhooked player.

Blame the mechanics for that one. When a survivor is unhooked, you can guarantee 2 stacks of condemned, 1 for the hooked and 1 for the unhooker. From there it comes down to the unhooker to protect the unhooked either through BT or a body block. Also the game mechanics reward tunneling in general, so unless the person playing Onyro has a moral reason not to go for the unhooked it's just very likely to happen.

Because when you do escape its actually rewarding to do so. Loss isn't guarenteed even against a good blight.

I believe in fairness. Blight isn't fair. He's not far from being fair, but he's just a bit OP.

  • The escape chance could be increased. That way if survivors do this, they may end up escaping and the match continues. It wouldn't be crazy to have it be a 6 or 7 percent chance of escaping compared to the 4 percent right now.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2845157#Comment_2845157

    So what that's exciting.

Why are you playing if there is no threat of death in a survival horror?

I main killer and I main Blight. What's exciting about knowing that you're going to win every game? That's dull, and even when playing survivor, what's exciting about knowing that you stand no chance of escaping?

  • I'd be for proper grab validation but can we also get rid of grabbing a survivor off of the hook. It just leads to unsavory face camping strategies.

  • @ukenicky said:

You can't make Condemned easy to accumulate without being incredibly careful since it's a straight mori regardless of hook states. It's a balancing nightmare tbh due to how it works.

The problem is how do you rework condemned in such a way that it forces survivors to do the side objective but does not make for such a potentially premature mori? It's difficult, the only idea I have is usually not very well received by most so I won't share here unless you'd like to hear it.

Aside from just Condemned though I think she could benefit from some improvements in other categories. Bloody fingernails really needs to be base kit and the cooldown on TVs could be lowered a bit if you ask me.

See, I disagree with you here. I feel that condemned is the only thing giving this killer an edge over some other killers. It's what makes her unique. It just needs to be a bit more tuned.

    1. Have it so that retrieving a video tape does not turn the TV off. Once you've retrieved the video tape, then you get the option to turn off the TV for an additional condemned stack.
    2. Increase the distance where condemned is granted around a TV from 16 meters to 24 meters
    3. Have it so that returning a TV turns the TV on rather than off.

    Mm.

I guess that's where we differ here.

She doesn't feel 'fresh' to me at all. Artist felt fresh. Cenobite felt fresh. Twins, while not being brilliantly designed, still felt fresh. All of these killers brought something no other killer did.

She feels like some admittedly good visual/audio design slapped over a badly designed killer that needed to spend another month in the oven (insert Gordon Ramsey clip).

Her teleports are cute, but that's all she really has - and it has a massive cooldown, plus the ability for survivors to simply disable it (generally they don't bother though unless it's late game and 3 people are slamming out one gen). Her stealth may as well not exist - without addons, by the time she's close enough to hear the gen I'm working on, I know she's there and can prepare to run.

Playing against her...I don't think I've ever been killed by her unless she was facecamping or I gave her a 'pity kill' at the end. She's so easy to evade. Her stealth is inferior to GF because of the lullaby - there's no real surprise to her approach.

The really sad part is that survivors aren't even playing against her that well because she's so weak that you don't have to learn to counter her. But for the survivors that do know how to counter her, it's a full on counter. I had a SWF that I versed that disabled all teleports on one side of the map, completed all those gens and then completed all the gens on the other half and did the same thing. I could not teleport at all that whole game unless I wanted to teleport away from them. And because returning a television turns the television off they weren't even getting condemned for doing it. I went and tried the same thing as survivor after that game, and I found that I could turn off all the generators near any generator that had any progress and stay at between 0 and 3 condemned the whole game. It's so powerful that if all 4 survivors were to turn off tvs they could turn off all the tvs in the map all the time. (That's obviously not optimal because you wouldn't be getting generators done) but my point is that you don't need to, you only need one person. And because you're taking video tapes away from generators that are being worked on you're also preventing other survivors from getting condemned.

The only time this killer is any good at all is when survivors ignore the TVs, then she's mid C tier. But if survivors know how to counterplay her, she has her stealth and only her stealth. She is F tier, she is worse than freddy was pre-buff by a significant amount.

    “Abuse the mechanics”

You should actually learn what you’re talking about. Devs have explicitly created Oni to play around slugging, and have acknowledged that before. That is the entire point.

You 2 have gotten off topic. No one is seriously considering nerfing Oni, just move on.

Coming from someone who primarily plays M1 killers (Clown, Mike, Pig, Ghostface, Trapper) no just no. She is lightyears past those characters....I don't run into much issues not being able to teleport when I want. There are quite a bit of Tv's on the map and even if they were 3 minute CD's she would still be better than those killers.

Most survivors haven't learned how to play against her yet. Wait until Otz or OhTofu puts out a video on exactly how to counter her. I went verses a group yesterday that took away my ability to teleport for the whole game. And the craziest part of it is you would think that holding a tape is dangerous, but it's the opposite. Holding a tape guarantees that you can remove condemned stacks. As survivor you should be turning off TVs at every opportunity and reducing your condemned at every opportunity. If you do this, the extra time that you spend is made up in the difficulty in chasing survivors because she can no longer teleport to survivors.

When survivors play correctly, she has nothing, no condemned, no teleport, nothing.

That addons are more busted in good hands then alch ring honestly you are getting rushes back so quickly and people like to throw when they see blight or nurse

So you're saying that Blight needs a nerf? OMG LOL. I'm not going to pretend that Adrenaline Vial isn't busted, it's fun so I use it. But Adrenaline vial is not easy to use, I would say that it can easily cost you the game.

Yes only with certian build you get a chance against good survivors try somethint chill and you will lose badly 🙃

My build with Blight - BBQ, Fire up, Bamboozle, Brutal Strength Add-on: Adrenaline Vial and Blighted Crow I've been running that build for nearly 2 months and I've got a 3 or 4k 90 percent of my games.

I don't run this build because I think it's the best, I ran this build because I was bored to tears of never ever losing and I decided to switch to a build that gives survivors a chance, and they still lose all the time. Now some of that is Match making being bad, but everyone's matchmaking is bad. That doesn't change the fact that a strong build is not necessary with Blight with current matchmaking.

  • @pseudechis said:

Or the point could be made that every other killer needs a good buff the bring them up to blight and nurse standards and make every game an exciting game of survival against a scary antagonist regardless of which one is picked.

Blights in a goo dp;ace as he's an all round good killer and its where all killers should be.

I disagree with this. Blight in the right hands is absolutely oppressive. Even in competitive, when versing a Blight it's not a question of if survivors escape but how many gens they complete before they die.

  • Blight like nurse is a killer where you need to be super careful on how you change how they work because he can be miserable to play as when they change his mechanical play.

    1. While I agree that Blight's hug tech is annoying, it should only be removed if it doesn't affect any other part of his kit. What I mean by this is if they ruin collision to remove hug tech, that's a terrible decision.
    2. There are 3 areas for Blight that can be safely modified without breaking him.

    --

    1. His base movement speed. In my honest opinion, blight should be a 4.4 m/s killer. That change doesn't affect his power, meaning that they can keep that mechanically safe while nerfing Blight. And it has the added bonus of making him require more skill to play. This is similar to when Nurse's movement speed was reduced.
    2. His rush speed. The speed that he performs at can be reduced safely without breaking him. However, the amount of this reduction should be less than his meme add-on, because that is roughly the point where his rush becomes unusable.
    3. His add-ons. Blight is not dependent on any add-ons, therefore his add-ons can be made less effective safely. I will say though that the add-ons that should be reworked or removed are : Compound 33, Alchemist Ring, Blighted Crow, and Blighted Rat.
  • When survivors don't disable her TVs she's a pretty fun killer, but I've had a few games where the survivors knew exactly how to play verses her and they were turning off TVs and managing their condemned and she is an M1 killer with a small terror radius.

  • @VaJaybles said:

You can also do this with MoM and OoO

MoM and OoO is intended. It only triggers if you get MoM off and reveal your aura to the killer. Unless there's another bug that I'm not aware of. This is just getting aura reading for free.

  • Those statistics only apply to guaranteed kills. You're going to know within the first couple minutes whether or not the survivors are able to get out of their hats. If they all escape from the head traps, you can still camp 1 survivor to death and get a second kill with noed. But if you can even kill 1 survivor , the game becomes a 1vs3 and that's very likely to be a 3 or 4k.

That means this strategy is probably pigs strongest strategy to consistently get kills as you should be able to get a minimum of 2 kills per match and a very high chance of getting 3 or 4k's even with good groups

  • @MilManson said:

Hell even her looking at you directly from terror radius could increase condemned.

    Make it like the films.

ive done thirty odd games as her and only killed like three people with it.

I kill someone with it about every other game. I had one game where a survivor that I hadn't seen all game became condemned when she went for a save. I brutally murdered that group. But it wasn't exactly skillful on my part, up until she became moriable I didn't even know she existed.

  • @DoritoHead said:

Mmm tunneling one survivor until you eventually get to mori them yummy

The time it takes to put in a video tape takes less time than it takes to wipe the weapon. In addition to this, what's the difference between tunnelling to sacrifice compared to tunnel until mori'd . It's not any more time efficient to get 7 stacks of condemned.

  • @OpenX said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2842320#Comment_2842320

Because she gets a consistent free first hit? Pig doesn't unless you dedicate a bunch of your build towards it. Legion only gets it after a huge cooldown and after closing the distance on a survivor, which can take ages on some maps. Her walking up and getting a free hit out of undetectable is 100% better than Frenzy if the Frenzy isn't used to get chain hits. That's why Wraith is higher on every tier list than Legion.

But she doesn't just get free hits. She might be able to get a free hit on a map with no visibility at all. But on any outdoor map, there's no way. And indoor maps are the worst because they tend to be full of extremely safe loops for survivors. It's not like Onryo is having a field day on the Game or Lery's

I'm saying that they make her stealth feel 'right'. Without these two, there is maybe one or two situations every game where my stealth feels like it does anything.

They aren't crazy strong, which is why I'm suggesting to just bake them in.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2842241#Comment_2842241

I'm not saying that condemn should be 'killing survivors left and right for barely any effort' (if you are confident in your assertions, why strawman my position?).

I'm saying that as a slowdown/secondary objective tool, condemn feels like a lot of work on my side of things for a negligible effect. I've seen someone hit max condemn perhaps twice in 14 games, and that's with me actively doing my best to make it happen. I almost never see anyone bother with videotapes at all. It feels like a big part of her kit does...approximately nothing unless you are on maybe 1 or 2 specific maps (Game, Midwich).

When survivors realize that going into condemned is actually a big brain play, they'll start doing it on purpose and it will counter Onyro badly.

And what do I mean by that? I mean, the counter is that once you've been hooked twice. And there is at least one other survivor that's been hooked twice, you purposefully pick up the video tape and you use the video tape to turn off TVs near generators that have not yet been completed. When you are about to get condemned put the video in the required VCR to reduce your total and then immediately pick up a new tape, because when there's another survivor that is being chased that's injured and on death hook you will purposefully allow yourself to get condemned. Watch as the killer completely forgets about their target to try to tunnel you out of the game, but the difference is that you're full health and that person was not. The killer will also have to close the distance between you and them, which they will not be able to do because you've been shutting off all of their TVs.

I can't say this enough, this killer was designed in such a way that bad decisions appear to be good decisions. Her power is literal bait for survivors to use against her.

  • @OpenX said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2842296#Comment_2842296

Pig traps and Condemned are both just slowdown, not meant to kill. Onryo gets a free first hit. Pig doesn't get squat, unless you wanna crouch around at 90% movespeed. And her dash isn't a chase power at all but the most unsafe loops. Free first hit + mobility is better than anything pig gets if the bear traps don't buy her a ton of time.

Legion gets the free first hit too, but first he has to hold W all the way up to a survivor with a 32m terror radius and then has the massive cooldown to end frenzy. Onryo just walks up and gets the free first hit from stealth. After that they are basically the same. Legion is only better on the fringe case of getting like 3+ injuries with a lucky frenzy, which is contingent on the survivors being dumb enough to group up against a Legion.

When are you slowed down exactly? With Freddy the box with the clock is farthest away from you. With Onryo did you know that the box is chosen at random. And what's more when you take the video you then turn off the TV preventing her from teleporting to you. You can even go and take the tape you took and turn off the other TVs on the way to the TV that you need to go to and when you finally get there the animation to put the video tape in is less time than it takes a killer to wipe their weapon after hitting a survivor. So again, how could she possibly be better than legion or pig, they have better slow down and they have better tools in chase.

  • @anarchy753 What's the absolute worst case scenario? You gain the ability to punish someone who has ignored condemned long enough to get 6 stacks by teleporting near them.

Exactly, even if you were to do exactly this, you would still need to down them to Mori them. The survivors don't become exposed when they are fully condemned. In fact if a survivor is on death hook, there is no reason to go out of your way to condemn them.

  • @OpenX said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2842261#Comment_2842261

I would say Legion, and Pig if RNG is not in her favor. If Legion doesn't get a lucky chain frenzy and is only injuring 1 person at a time I would say he/she is definitely the worst killer. Pig is strictly worse if some people get the traps off on the first or second try.

Onyro has RNG just like pig, but hers is far worse. Let's say that you get 7 stacks of condemned and you need to return a VHS tape to prevent yourself from getting killed. With Pig you would need to interact with boxes at random until you find the right box, with Onryo you would be told which of the television sets you need to go to exactly. Onyro is like pig if pig traps told you which one to go to.

It's even worse than that though. With pig the head traps actually kill the survivors, with Onyro you have to go out of your way to down the survivor yourself before you can mori them.

Also with Pig you are almost guaranteed to get a head trap placed on your head every game. But with Onyro you will get condemned 1 out of 100 games unless you go out of your way to get yourself condemened.

Legion is a better hit and run killer than Onyro and can use his power to consistently land a first hit. Onyro has stealth but that is much less consistent in getting the first hit, and she has no more tools than legion in getting the second hit.

  • I keep hearing people say she's not the worst. Like what killer is worse than Onyro, who?

  • Sadako has silky smooth hair that is clearly manicured. She uses it to cover the beauty of her face (and eyes) which is honestly to everyone's benefit because those who see her true beauty are known to suffer uncontrollable ecstasy and die.

  • Are we really going to pretend that Spirit doesn't have a bad case of bed head?

  • Sadako has fewer missing body parts than spirit. Therefore Sadako > Spirit

  • @AnchorTea said:

"A lack of any sort of reliable anti-loop tool immediately makes her extremely mediocre. If you get sent to Eyrie, Ormond, Swamp or worst of all, the newly buffed Badham"

Her having no anti-loop is part of her, and its alright if a killer doesn't perform as well on certain maps than others.

Pig, Legion, and Freddy are all are other killers with weak anti-loop where they have built in slow down that helps to make up the distance for their weak chase. Do you think that Onyro's chase ability is better than any of these killers? What about their slow-down? Does Onyro have better Slow down then Legions mending or Pig's head traps or Freddy's alarm clocks?

Freddy is the closest killer that I could compare to her, he has better mobility where he can teleport directly to generators rather than an RNG chance of getting near a generator. HIs stealth is comparable in the sense that he can't be seen from a distance and while in the dream world he has a lullaby, and he has snares, which Onyro has almost nothing in chase. If you try to manifest and demanifest at a loop that's extremely risky because you're slowing yourself down and you can only do that at loops that were always loops that could be mind gamed. Try that trick at shack or on one of the million safe pallets in the game.

Onyro is the weakest killer in DBD. She is worse than Freddy before his rework, she is worse than Wraith or Clown even before they got buffed. She is pathetically weak.

  • To be fair it was a bit of an odd design choice to close them. That being said, it's rough now that they're open again.

  • @Devil_hit11 said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/313412/sadako-im-not-sure-i-understand-this-killer

that is why i said she is C-tier killer. your probably facing 4 man SWF with stealth killer. to be polite, stealth killer are not exactly stealth killers when facing a strong swf. they end up being M1 killers because their stealth is countered by communication.

with that being said, I have been doing gen grabs with her in some instances which is hilarious to say the least. difference between solo vs swf.

Stealth killers generally have tools in their toolbox to somewhat counter SWF. Wraith has complete invisibility from far away and partial invisibility from nearby, he even gets a speed boost when uncloaking to help with some of the loops. Michael and Ghostface have insta-downs so even when stealth fails they still have lethality. What does Onyro have? Everyone says map mobility, but I disagree with that. When I versed teams that were well coordinated, all of the TVs near any area they were in were always turned off. Sure I knew where they were because I was paying attention to where my TVs should be, but I wasn't any faster at getting over to them.

Blights generally my main, could you imagine if there were just parts of the map where I couldn't use my power if the survivors injected themselves with Pestula, do you realize just how bonkers that sounds, but that's what happens with Onyro, they can just neuter her of her power, and what is the trade off. That they can then offer themselves as a mori when it is the most convenient for them, when they're full health and on their death hooks anyway?

  • @AhoyWolf said:

I think if we had a tier list from S to D, I would put her around high C or low B tier, her map mobility is pretty good, her stealth is pretty decent and can really confuse Survivors, now when the manifestation / demanifestation switch cooldown has been reduced by a whole second it's not a bad idea to use it in a chase now. She still lacks any chase power, but a smart use of her TVs can help with that.

I like her, she doesn't feel as oppresive as some other Killers released recently, she is actually fun to play, which I wasn't expecting from a stealth / teleport Killer and I think she isn't complete garbage like some people are trying to imply.

If you were to put her in B tier or even high C tier that would suggest that you feel that she is better than up to 10 other killers. Who is the strongest killer in your opinion that is still weaker than Onyro?

  • I've yet to hear anyone make a valid argument for her being better than any other killer period. Wraith, Trapper, Pig? I'd rather play any of them over her if I'm trying to win.

I mean, yeah, they do predrop, and at that point she doesn’t have much going for her. It’s just something you can try if they don’t.

She doesn’t have any form of anti-loop beyond that, which is fine as long as she has enough power in other places to make up for it. My first impressions are that she doesn’t and she’s still too weak, although not as bad as she was in the ptb.

She is much better than she was on the PTB. She was so so rough on the PTB. But she went from being the worst killer to the worst but not so bad killer.

I got a Yui condemned in my first game with her and I barely knew what I was doing. Wasn't until about 1 gen remaining did I hit my stride (Just in time btw). I find her not only pretty damn decent but fun at the same time. I mean it's too early for that to matter as I also loved Artist when she first came out and now I find her boring asf.

Maybe you did manage to get a survivor condemned, but I find it more likely that the survivor chose to get condemned.

But, I hear you ask, why would a survivor try to get condemned?

    1. They want to see the Mori , curiosity killed the cat as they say
    2. They are on death hook but healthy and you are chasing their friend who is death hook and injured. They're hoping that you will abandon the chase to get your mori, and honestly I think most killers would.

Do you see exactly why she is so bad? Survivors can bait you into playing badly, and it doesn't even appear that way. To play the Onyro well you need to be able to see when you are being baited and when there's an opportunity. But the mechanic is so easy to prevent that just about every time that it goes off it only went off because they let it go off. There's very little that you can do to get it to go off through actions that you take.

There is an exception to this rule, it is possible to legitimately get the condemned status if you're running the Ring Note and the Iri tape add-on on a small map. But I would consider that a meme, similar to playing scratched mirror Myers on Lery's.

  • @sizzlingmario4 said:

Try taking advantage of her invisibility more at loops; after you manifest, you keep the effect for a few seconds and sometimes you can trick survivors into thinking you're going the other way then switch direction and get a hit. It definitely isn't something that will always work though.

You can also try to keep track of who you've teleported near often/if you see someone insert a tape, etc. in case that ever comes into play. It usually won't though, and out of the 8 matches I played against her yesterday, only 1 survivor died to that.

Outside of that, not sure what to suggest other than doing the things you'd normally want to do with stealth killers like taking unexpected angles and such. She doesn't really have a high skill ceiling, and most of the ones I've played against so far have not performed well.

Are we playing the same game? Survivors very rarely play loops, they will pre-drop go stay at a point of absolute safety within the loop or find an opportunity to move to another loop. (and that opportunity is anytime that you attempt to mind game a loop)

  • @Phasmamain said:

It’s not meant to be an insanely impactful mechanic imo. More so a passive slowdown/ homage to the films

It's not even effective slow down. I'd say it offers less slow down then having to grab pinheads box. It even takes less time to enter the box into the VCR then it would take to solve the box.

Edit: I actually feel that PinHead offers a great comparison on how to rate this killer.

PinHead - chase power (weak and hard to use)

Sadako - chase power (much weaker and is basically just a slightly better mind game then moon walking tiles)

PinHead - Puzzle Box , allows you to teleport directly to a survivor.

Sadako - allows you to teleport to a television and that television can be turned off by the survivor. Against good groups I had literally no teleport ability at all

PinHead's punishment for ignoring the box or for him finding it first. Extreme slow-down forcing survivors off of generators and preventing them from healing

Sadako punishment for getting condemned stacks is unlikely to reach 7 stacks if TVs are ignored. However, that's not even the optimal way of playing. The optimal way to play against Sadako is to pick up a tape, and turn off any TV that you come across and then periodically return the tape to clear your stacks. Sadako cannot even pressure a survivor who has a tape because they stop receiving condemned when she chases them. And there's no guarantee that a survivor holding a tape has 5 or 6 stacks. They may only have 1 or 2 so trying to get additional stacks on a survivor holding a tape is pretty pointless as well.

I've said this in the PTB and I'm saying it now. Sadako isn't just a weak killer, she's the weakest killer. Clown, Legion, Trapper all have more going for them than she has going for her.

  • The double locker flashlight cannot be avoided. You pull from the locker and they get a guaranteed flashlight save while you're in animation.

I think overall the changes they are planning to make to the Onryo are very good, i do however have some problems with the way they addressed the condemned meter mechanic:

Currently, a survivor can choose to be effected by condemned or not. If you dont interact with TVs, your condemned meter is extremely unlikely to ever reach its maximum, since the nearby teleport doesnt build up the meter enough. The changes BHVR made imply that the survivor is interacting with TVs in the first place, which is not something they have to do. Its sort of like old plague: If survivors play in a certain way, you suddenly have no power. Id much rather like to see changes to how much condemned is building up when Onryo teleports, then how much is passively gained or removed. That would make it so every survivor, no matter the playstyle, must interact with the TVs, providing passive slowdown.

It is possible to use condemned effectively but only when using the ring drawing. It's nearly a mandatory add-on if you want any hope of getting a condemned kill in a match and it's very very unlikely to happen early in the match if at all even with the add-on.

  • Yeah it can suck playing against randos. I just went against a group that abused double lockers to guarantee escapes. I beat the group anyway, just kept pulling until they ran out of flashlight. And as I'm about to kill the 3rd one with no generators left, they took advantage of the exit gate bug to force crash my game. I'm not usually bitter and I had fun versing them, but to have someone force crash my game really put a bad taste in my mouth.

It's a poor argument because it could be said for a lot of perks and add-ons, especially on the survivor's side.

It also means you're trying to define correct and incorrect ways of playing when it should always be up to the individual player

Idk about decreasing her lunge but I like the idea of making her visible.

When they were reworking her they brought up an idea to have dust particles kick up while she is phasing. I think that would be a good downside to the MD ring (but even if they do that the speed needs to be decreased because the map mobility is crazy)

  • Different MMR ranks have different metas. For example, Spinechill is meta at low survivor MMR but not meta at high survivor MMR. NOED has an interesting relationship with relation to skill. It's generally a low MMR perk, but then if you get to a high enough MMR it then becomes meta again.
