A perk shouldn't remove objective progress from the other side for doing own objective. It's too overpowered on high mobility killers. When it is only 3 gens left and a killer keeps popping a gen, then the perk literally wins the game. That is far from balanced if you ask me, especially when survivor perks have nothing similar. If a kiler isn't using Ruin, then they are using this perk instead. That tells a lot.
YOOO IT'S SLUZZY!
-
Here is my personalized tier list for this topic!
(Even though I find Trickster pretty fun to play as, that doesn't make him a good killer.)
-
Usually the survivor's mistake, though trying to keep a 3 gen can be done by the killer.

Okay.

Like glitchboi said when you combine both bottles on bigger loops (because smaller ones were never an issue with him) he can surprise a lot of survivor either by allowing you to hit them at the loop or catching up after breaking a paller. I'd add 1 bottle basekit tho.
I had the idea of making the bottle count separate for tonics and antidotes (for example, you throw an antidote for a speed boost, so you now have 3 antidotes and you switch back to tonics and the count of tonics stay at 4)

let's be hones, it's a ######### rework, yeah, better than before, but almost nobody tend to use the yellow bottle, because it's not worth most of the times...the real rework were the 3 seconds reload time.
I've been playing Clown a lot more lately in red ranks and his yellow bottles are excellent in his anti-looping game. I use them a lot to catch up to survivors during chases if they made too much distance, and the yellow bottles do a great job at helping me catch up to them.
-
Twins are awesome and Victor is a cutie. Oh and Charlotte.
I don't main Twins but I might have tips. Twins is the best killer that focuses on camping, tunneling, and slugging (no I'm not kidding, it's the only way to play them in red ranks). You could try a slugging build like Corrupt/Ruin/Nurse's/Undying. Corrupt for early-game slowdown, Ruin is the main star of the show as slugging forces survivors to leave the gen (which regresses the gen) just to get their teammates back up. Undying is there to support Ruin, and Nurse's is there to see auras of survivors trying to heal other survivors back up, though this might be unreliable since they can kick Victor during his attack cooldown so I'd recommend Sloppy instead.
Final build: Corrupt/Ruin/Undying/Sloppy
-
DS, DH, BT, and Detective's Hunch. I suck at chases so DH is there, DS is for anti-tunnel since I no longer feel guilty for running it, BT for support, and Hunch because Ruin is the bane of my existence.

Like I get it survivors are the majority and spend the most money so their needs are met first.
But at the same time without killers then the survivors will have no killers to play with
and then that means no survivor can play games so they won't spend money.
So why are killers treated like ######### again? You need us to play the game.
Honestly people like you are the reason why killer mains get looked down upon. You literally made a thread complaining that survivors getting healed can still use their DS and took a fat L for tunneling.

Thanks, but whenever I try to be helpful here, I just get attacked.
Your guide was awesome, don't listen to 'em!
-
It's a great and balanced perk, I'd be surprised if people say it's unhealthy for the game.
-
I'm quite neutral on your idea but I do agree that she needs a buff, hell I think she deserves a rework. Her ambush attack is not that good and can be easily countered. Hell, STBFL on Pig is situational because of how slow her ambush is.
-
If a survivor DCs while you run STBFL, you can have permanent stacks of STBFL so you can use that to your advantage.
-
Clown - Chicken Outfit - Ruin/Undying/BBQ/STBFL
Goal is as many bloodpoints as possible while getting the best anti-loop plays with the tonics and antidotes!
-
I can't resist contributing to this thread despite it being 4 months old, it's just too creative.
I would say Talbot, the Blight. He entered the realm of the Entity before being mutated to research and inject killers with the serum, hoping it would free them from the eternal hell they were in, but instead it resulted in mutations similar to what he had become later on, and then he mutates into a killer chosen by the Entity. Another possible protagonist would be Yui. I know I know, odd take, but she's one of the more energetic, arrogant, and selfless survivors out there. She'd probably be good at helping the other survivors and being the leader alongside Dwight (who I'd say would be a protagonist as well).
-
Yes, though it deserves a non game-affecting change of some sort. For example, it should give post-game bonus bloodpoints similar to WGLF and BBQ after stunning the killer with it. This encourages survivors to run the perk.

Yeah, this was already confirmed in a developer update :P
I like your take wayyy better than the ones the devs have in mind though. A lot more rewarding with the shards. I know this sounds weird but I would love charms for each rank, EVEN rank 20. The charms will look like the rank icons, and their rarities will represent their color (ex: brown rank = common, yellow rank = uncommon, green rank = rare, purple rank = very rare, red rank = ultra rare). The charms can be obtained each time you rank up, you will always have the rank 20 one by default, and you can keep the ones you get.
-
Do former Pig mains count? I do have some tips for her.
- I recommend using your RBTs as soon as possible to get the best early-game, one that is nice and slow.
- You can use your ambush as a counterloop ability, though this doesn't work all the time, one of the reasons being survivors can just run away. We'll get to that one later.
- Don't rely on crouching too much, use it whenever you feel it's necessary!
- For Pig's anti-loop, survivors can leave when you crouch near it. You can counter this by faking your crouch by crouching then standing back up, and maybe you can get a free hit!
I reckon you'll be a master oinker without a doubt!
-
All they need to do is make it so that NOED requires a particular amount of hooks (maybe 6 or 8). Keep the Hex part and that should do it.
-
I hope DBD doesn't become an esports title.
-
Bruh
-
Jeez that's a lotta killer mains. Anyways I main killer because it's more relaxing and less stressful.
-
I wish her icon didn't constantly remind me of Sluzzy.
Tbh she needs a face rework to match her appearance from the first Halloween movies. Ash, Steve, Nancy, and Cheryl are the only licensed survivors to do a good job matching their faces.
-
Probably Trickster, Nurse, and Legion.
Trickster because the potential of amazing soundtrack, an interesting cast (since Yun-Jin and Ji-Woon (the Trickster) were friends before she knew that he killed people), and being able to see from Yun-Jin's perspective (since she'd be the main protagonist).
Nurse because of the lore extension she got from the archives had a huge impact on her lore and I'd love to see what she went through as a nurse.
Legion because I would love to see the personalities of the gang! Plus Julie's lore really made me interested about the gang, mainly Joey and Susie. Plus I would love to see how Jeff talked to them.

LMAO WATCH SCREAM
The DBD's take on Ghostface is an entirely separate character from the Scream franchise with a different backstory.

Yep, script kiddies been invading DBD recently I reckon.

DBD needs better anti-cheat. Either that or EAC needs to get updated at some point.

Detective's Hunch is a perk I can never remove from my build now, it's so useful. I hate Hex perks, so I'll be busy in the corner crushing the killer's bones >:D

We'll Make It is great as well, it lets you reset so fast when you need it the most.
Yeah, it's awesome! Gotta crack those bones if ya know what I mean.

Gotta go with Detective’s hunch for the most underrated honestly. Stops 3 gens, Stops Noed and other hex perks and is just great info all around
One of my favorite perks tbh. A teammate with Detective's Hunch is a really valuable one.

Definitely a really good perk. There are times where it's actually saved me.

I don't know why he was coming at me even though I just asked a question.
No worries! You didn't deserve them coming at you like that.
-
I'm so glad I wasn't the only one who noticed that.
Maybe a diminishing killer? Since he can 99 survivors to their final state before they become injured/downed.
Orrr a devious killer?

You just refuse to accept that other people are better than you at something. Please, learn to accept that you're not the greatest survivor alive. Holy moly, lol
What's up with you being passive-aggressive so much? I've read your other posts and you're almost always like this. OP just wants to learn from others that play without Spine Chill (Sorry you had to deal with them OP).
Anyways, I usually just look around while I'm doing a generator or something. I think Spine Chill is a really good perk but I don't use it because I usually forget I have it, and I got used to not running it, I guess.

Theres a Dc button, but in all seriousness, if you dont try and win even if your going against a sweat swf, your not going to get better at going against said Swf, so its a learing oppurtunity, all be it a stressfull one
Agreed, this is what I've been doing and it's been helping me a lot. In the end, it's best not to give up. Don't expect to win every game anyways.
You can do this with any killer (except Trickster honestly) too.

Stranger Things made Demo scarier than he looks.
Honorable mentions are Hillbilly, Deathslinger, Blight, PH, and Doc.

That would be the first answer, "Survivors should spawn all together"
I suppose I'll vote for both then.
-
Honestly I just want them to make it so that survivors can't spawn scattered around. It lets them do 4 gens all at once, 3 gens if the killer chases one of them which is still awful. I don't know how to answer this poll tho.
-
Tbh they should make it so that it automatically makes it Trickster's knives by default when the killer played Trickster before the game, or Huntress's hatchets by default when the killer played Huntress before (unless the killer is Huntress/Trickster).
-
Can't blame you, DBD is stressful to enjoy but difficult to walk away from as well. I really hope things work out for you. Gl man.

Agreed. The only problem is that there isn't much you can do about it.
For example: yesterday, someone told me that I should kill myself and burn alive because I main Freddy. It definitely wasn't pleasant to read that, but what can I do? I reported them, of course, but if they don't get banned my report was literally useless.
This kind of toxicity needs to stop.
Pfft... I wonder if they said that knowing Freddy was already burnt alive.
In all seriousness, sorry you had to deal with that #########.

Windows of Opportunity
Unlocks potential in your Aura-reading ability.
The Auras of Breakable Walls, Pallets, and Windows are revealed to you within 20 metres.
Windows of Opportunity has a cool-down of 30/25/20 seconds after damaging a Survivor.

Take aim, pull the trigger, hit the bulls eye for fame,
Know the value of faith, an' family, and don't you complain,

Zanshin Tactics
Unlocks potential in your Aura-reading ability.
You are mentally alert and aware of key points on the battlefield.
The Auras of Breakable Walls, Pallets, and Windows are revealed to you within 24 metres.
Zanshin Tactics has a cool-down of 40/35/30 seconds after vaulting or dropping a Pallet during a Chase.

Alright enough of these dumb jokes, time to actually play around!
Blood Favour

You are not given the Blindness effect while inside of a locker. You are able to see the killer's aura 16 metres away from the locker you are inside of.
Repressed Alliance
You have formed a special bond with the Entity.
After hooking survivors 5/4/3 times, Repressed Alliance activates. When activated, hold the Active Ability button to call upon the Entity to block the generator for 60 seconds. The generator can be blocked while it is regressing, and can regress while it is blocked.

Can't wait for the edgy teen to come in this thread just to say "Grow up lol."
-
Oh my god please, and buff dailies.
-
Yeah, just don't bother for now. Just get adept Yun-Jin if you haven't already and call it a day.
-
BBQ is a very inconsistent perk, people only really use it for the bloodpoint bonus. Overall, Thrilling Tremors is much more reliable for patrolling generators.
