I’ll leave it to Clown mains to say how much they do or don’t use the yellow gas.
I gotcha man.
As a Clown main the yellow bottles are excellent for closing in distances during chases. You can also use them in loops along with the tonic. It's a useful chase utility that people sleep on, you just need to know when and how to use it.
I should prob make a compilation of the stuff you could do with that thing.

A tie between Freddy and Billy.
Freddy for literally deleting a killer, and Billy for ruining a killer that was fine as he was. The killer ruined in particular was one of the most beloved killers to play as and against.
-
What about Haddonfield being kill switched?

If I have the option to change between the old ones and new ones for each animation (ex: old idle animation with new running animation with new crawling animation), then yes for sure.

It becomes my business when it's one, public info, and two, something that directly affects the safety of people that aren't him: The human rights of LGBT+ people. The politicians he did donate thousands of dollars to and voted for actively pledged to work to get rid of LGBT+ peoples' rights. Also, "I think promises for a better economy are more valuable than human rights" is not the gotcha you seem to think it is. Since you somehow can't understand something this incredibly basic, let me put it in easier terms for you. Even if the economy gets better, that doesn't really matter if LGBT+ people don't get to reap those same benefits because those politicians also stripped away human rights such as the right to work without being legally fired for being LGBT+. Actions speak louder than words. Yeah, the $50,000 to the Trevor Project is great and all. They don't make laws. The politicians do. You know, the ones he voted for and donated thousands of dollars to.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2783612#Comment_2783612
So what? You are still responsible for the other policies they literally pledge to bring on-board in their very campaign promises. Just cause you vote for promises for a better economy does not absolve you of the responsibility from the extremely anti-LGBT politician pushing the anti-LGBT legislation they ALSO promised. You don't get to just pick and choose what parts you're responsible for. In this case, he decided a politician's promises for a better economy were more important than maintaining equal human rights for LGBT+ people. So yes, he is responsible for the resulting consequences of donating to and voting for people like that.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2783677#Comment_2783677
Yeah, and you know what has a bigger sway on legislation than that? The actual politicians in the seats making and pushing those laws. You know, the ones he voted for and donated thousands of dollars to. Also cut the whataboutism. People can have issues with more than one thing at a time. I cannot believe I have to explain this. A charity's campaigning for education and advocacy is not even remotely comparable to the legislative power actual voted-in and financially supported politicians have. Just cause there are bigger fish does not make the minnows any more less scum.
It's not your business and was never meant to be. As I've said in this thread or another, the people who revealed the donations were people who hated Scott for presumably petty reasons. I am literally bisexual and I think this whole argument is dumb as hell. This argument should've been about Scott as a person, not #########' politics, like hello???
Also, I highly doubt Scott even knew about the LGBTphobia from the people he donated to.

Like I’ve already addressed, donating to a charity with zero direct legal power or say over legislation is not even remotely comparable to donating AND voting for politicians who DO have that legal power AND actively use it to push for anti-LGBT legislation. Trevor Project can’t put forth an anti-discrimination law. Anti-LGBT politicians can and do push for legislation that will strip human rights.
You're acting like Scott's intentions was to rid of LGBT peoples' rights. His political opinion is also none of your business.
There's literally nothing he could do about it. He donated to the politicians because he thought they would run the country well, he didn't donate to them explicitly because of the rights of LGBT people being discarded. He donated $50,000 to the Trevor Project because he actually respects the rights of LGBT people.
Relax man.

Not at all. I made my own take on killers' difficulties a little while back based on the powers of killers, you can see it here:
@glitchboi said:
I always felt like most of BHVR's takes on the killers' skill floors are quite inaccurate, with the survivor ones being more accurate. So I decided to make this! Unchanged difficulties are in italics.

By making a new thread for something that's already got a relevant thread, and with a vague title?
No, it's annoying. It's annoying when people make a bunch of duplicate threads for everything else, but at least those are generally talking about what's actually in the game rather than mostly talking about a completely different one.
Jesus christ, if you don't like the thread, don't click on it, just move on. Is it really that difficult?
I'm sorry if I sound aggressive but my god I'm just tired of these cookie cutter replies on threads of people just wanting to share their thoughts on FNAF in DBD. The thread isn't even breaking the forum's rules, just relax man.

Yikes. After reading through the comments on this post, I'm scared of what would happen to the Fanf community if a crossover were to happen.
I must be a masochist for putting myself into arguing in FNAF threads today.

@DomoBear19 said:
What I take from this is that,
- Scott Cawthon voted for Trump.
- DBD fans want to keep their community as is.
- Fear of unwanted attention from "cringey" youtubers.
However I think you can flip this around because,
- Fnaf security breach is really popular with the LGBT community as I have seen a lot of fnaf oc's.
- It would help bring in more players.
- Would benefit DBD with more publicity.
There's also more ways to flip the 3 points around.
- Scott's political opinion shouldn't have been made to the public to begin with. The people who revealed the info were just people who hated him for presumably petty reasons. There's also the possibility he didn't know about the damage that could've been done to people of LGBT. Not to mention, he donated $50k dollars to the Trevor Project (an LGBT charity program) to make up for it.
- The DBD community is bad as it is, adding FNAF to the game wouldn't make it any worse. In fact, it would be great to bring in more players anyways.
- One of the more popular FNAF-focused YouTubers, Dawko, has played DBD and uploaded videos of it many times. I don't recall it doing anything to the community, like at all.
-
It's pretty simple: she has the highest skill floor in the game, making her incredibly difficult to pick up.

@MrPenguin said:
Controversial for who? No skill Spirit players? Most of the player base wanted her changed.
She's still strong too. Just not as braindead as before.
Judging by the amount of people I've seen saying Spirit was fine as she was, I thought there were more people who thought she was genuinely fine as she was.

: ( I really like the color. Coloring is still a pain for me.
This is my desktop.
Yours looks pretty nice!
-
Can I just say that positive posts and replies like these are what made you quickly become one of my favorite forum members?
Anyways yeah Spirit is really fun rn, it's a bit difficult to deal with IW but she's still a blast to play as. I like using the recharge add-on and duration add-on, as they allow you to use your power more often.
My current build on her (with my limited selection of perks on her due to me not leveling her up much, I'm trying to P3 50 Artist so yeah lol) is BBQ, Haunted Ground, Retribution, and Lethal Pursuer. When HG gets cleansed, Retribution shows the auras of all survivors, allowing me to vroom all the way to a survivor and instantly down them. Lethal Pursuer shows the auras of all survivors at the start of the trial which can be useful with phasing. And BBQ is, well, BBQ, bloodpoints and info.
I'm glad you're having a good time with her despite IW being IW, Spirit is a very enjoyable killer with many things to do!
-
Wraith just needs his nerf reverted, it was unnecessary. He was fine as he was.
I think Bubba is one of the more fun and interactive killers we have rn. Camping Bubba is dumb but that's not exactly a Bubba issue.
And finally, uhh, Twins. Twins is just there, I guess. Basically the new Pig in which they keep getting nerfed. I'm not sure how to change them but I'm sure there are Twins players who know what to do.

Does that mean that the yellow and purple have the same effect? I think that the purple one does +2 seconds as well as the yellow one.
In the PTB that was the case. The yellow one didn't make it to live though.
-
Shame that they didn't do the same to Garish Makeup Kit :(
-
Sole Survivor at the very least has a passive effect that can help against BBQ and a few other aura reading perks thanks to the aura reading reduction from sacrificed survivors (even if its effect is blatantly outclassed by Distortion and Shadow Step). I don't think the killer aura reading from Buckle Up is worth it, and you'd pretty much know when a survivor is recovering up when they're staying still.
However, both are terrible perks in need of desperate changes.
-
I found this wallpaper on Wallpaper Engine and it looks pretty dope so I'm using it. As a bonus, it's also animated.
-
@Mandy said:
We are continuing to monitor the situation with both perks - I am aware that certain maps are more of an issue than others with Boil Over in particular and it's something that has been brought up with the team.
It's good that you guys are monitoring the perks, but you probably should have seen the community's thoughts on how easily abusable Boil Over was during the PTB. Not to mention, the PTB is supposed to be for testing things, right? People did that and showed video evidence of the possible bs Boil Over could create.
-
Meh, might as well save them up.

People sometimes still comment on polls I made many weeks ago. Given time, you'll get a good deal more votes.
It happens but I tend to get impatient lol
-
Post-CoH I would say Legion. Their power, which allows them to injure every survivor on the map if the survivors don't play correctly, is trumped by the perk. They also have zero chase potential, with their only redeeming quality being able to get a free hit.
-
Yeahhh I definitely should have posted this during the day because this thread barely got any traction.
-
I think Adrenaline Vial was a pretty well-designed and unique add-on prior to the various buffs it got, despite how painful it is to utilize it. It's still pretty fun and I love add-ons that change killers' gameplays.
-
I like the great skill checks, but if they want to keep them then lower down the base wiggle speed and make the great skill checks a bit more rewarding for wiggling, and bam they're a bit more balanced. I'm a bit too hesitant on that though so I'd just remove the great skill checks from the wiggling altogether.
Edit: Crap i voted for the wrong option how the hell did i evenhfnd9uighrdfuysfgrs
-
I like this idea.
Maybe a thing that allows you to scroll down from 1000 iri shards for 75000 bloodpoints, and if I got the math right, up to 13000 iri shards for 1000000 bloodpoints, and maybe a warning if it goes above the cap. Idk that's just my idea.
But god forbid anything to reduce the grind, I suppose.
-
Yeah it's honestly pretty annoying. Feng gets a whole yacht while Jeff and co. continue to live in a cardboard shelter.

Spirit?????
No one has fun against a Spirit? tf?
Huntress is by far more fun to play against, as is Bubba's (the few that don't face camp), and Demogorgons.
If I were making a list of fun killer to versus, Spirit would never even be considered
You aren't one to speak for everyone else's perspective.
I personally enjoy going against Spirit, 10 times more than old Spirit. She has interesting counterplay that differentiates from other killers, and she is overall a scary killer to go against.
-
Meh, might as well. It's going to include a few new content aside from the event anyways, so yeah.

Then why are you even posting..? Like dude if you don't play, what's the issue?
Your mentality is "if you don't enjoy the game anymore, you can't hope that the game gets better."
I don't even play DBD that much anymore but I would still like BHVR to make good changes to this game. I still deeply love DBD, I just want the game to be better than it currently is. It's not in a good state right now.
I'm kind of neutral on the iri shard grind. I guess it could be better, but eh, the entire grind in general just sucks.
-
Matthew Court had one hell of a backstory.
-
IMO I would just update his textures similar to the treatment they gave to Clown in 4.5.0. I honestly believe Myers' model looks fine.
I wouldn't mind a model rework though.
-
Since Furtive Chase is getting a small buff and old Frederick's aura reading was based on how small your terror radius was, it might have good synergy on Freddy for omega passive aura reading with his power.
Maybe Pain Resonance for a super slow healing build.
No Way Out + Remember Me (also getting buffed) for a super slow exit gate build, since endgame Freddy was pretty popular at the time.
-
There's absolutely no reason to not allow this.
Supporting this.
-
Corrupt Intervention and Deadlock are the best two perks to run on facecamping Bubba. Add Agitation & Iron Grasp if you want to go for the basement. If not, run NOED and No Way Out.
As for add-ons, run The Grease and Long Guide Bar for more chainsaw revving to threaten other survivors.
No clue why I'm attempting to help someone with a camping playstyle, I must be really bored with my life.

I'm not sure but I know they can see each other's perks. They also have some other really nice QoL features as well I hear.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2762371#Comment_2762371
Killers can have their stuff except addons combined as well. It's just a QoL buff.
Not to mention they have custom games with bots. Man that must be embarrassing knowing your mobile counterpart is ahead of you.
-
Would be a lazy way to nerf it tbh.
-
Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the mobile game have that as a feature? The mobile ver being ahead as per usual.
-
His mori would be introducing himself, saying "I will eat you" and then finally making a large smile before eating his survivor victim.
-
Pinhead chase-wise is absolutely ######### painful on RPD. Due to the map's narrow halls and variety of hallways to go to, it's easy as cake to break off the chains, and not uncommon for chains to break immediately, as well as chains spawning right behind the survivor in the narrow hall making Pinhead break all 3 chains at once, giving almost zero value on the chain bound you did.
Top it off with comms and you're definitely bound to lose. You might stand a chance against solos if the box is like 10 miles away in the corner upstairs, but that's the best it can get.
-
The Switch version is really cool, I have it myself, but unfortunately performance issues are to be expected due to the Switch's low end specs. I feel like the game as a whole would need to be optimized, not just for the Switch but for all platforms so that they could optimize the Switch version with more ease. A stable 30fps at 720p for DBD on Switch with doable skill checks would be awesome.
-
The popular choice is Dead Hard and NOED, in which I completely agree with.
-
I could destroy at least one Legion member probably. Maybe two, but definitely no more than that. Since it's four of them, then I won't be able to beat them.
I can snap Hag in half, it'd be as easy as breaking a twig.
Oh and maybe Trickster.
-
I absolutely love the idea of giving him a fire axe. It fits his character a lot.
As for his power, there's a lot to choose from. Phantom animatronics, a tracking ability (which would make a lot of sense if you consider the FNAF games), a maintenance panel required for survivors to use in order for the map to stop getting dark overtime as well as giving survivors Blindness (although that might be a ripoff of Pinhead's power).
I really liked Rarithlynx's FNAF chapter spotlight concept as well.
-
She looks like Nea gave her old face to her.
I hope no one read that wrong.
-
Man, what's the point, just nerf CoH, boom done easy the game is now 7% more balanced.
