That actually doesn't make me a troll. I do defend survivors a lot, but that's because of all the crazy things killers post here daily, lol. Anyways, I play killer as well. Things definitely need improving on both sides and I've said this a lot.
Don't you think defending survivors only because of the things killers post is quite... odd? I mean, come on, both sides complain equally as much.
Dead Hard does need a nerf that addresses the issue with the perk itself. It extends chases in an unfair manner, and can also grant another health state.
You've told me that the devs know more than us, which is why you justified Wraith's nerf. So if the devs ever nerf Dead Hard while addressing the issue with the perk, would you agree with the devs?
-
Run a stealth build and play stealthy. Try not to get caught. I recommend bringing dark clothes and perks such as Iron Will, Fixated/Self-Aware (though you can run Urban Evasion instead, up to you), etc. I also recommend the combination of Dance With Me and Lithe (you can add Quick & Quiet over Urban/Fixated) to escape a chase if you get caught.
Oh and don't forget asylum map offerings if you have any.

it takes skill? what kind of skill? unlike killers, survivors doesn't get tunnel vision everytime they look at the killer.
also you would be able to spot 4 totems at most in one single gen pop if you look carefully enough and run around during that 10 seconds.
I run Hunch a lot and it's still difficult to memorize each location, but that's just from my experience.
Hunch is a pretty weird perk to complain about tbh, and this is the first time I've seen someone do so. It requires a generator to be completed in order to have it activate, which could take up to 80 seconds and at the very least 35-50 seconds with multiple people on a single gen, and without toolboxes.
The issue is totem spawns, as @ThatOneDemoPlayer said.
-
Hunch is balanced as it is. Sometimes the totem you find won't even be a hex totem, since it's a 20% (1 out of 5 totems) chance.
It also takes skill to use (unless you use a map), since you have to memorize the location of the totems from the auras.
-
BBQ allows you to quickly get in a chase most of the time after hooking a survivor. Bitter Murmur simply shows the auras of survivors near a generator they completed, which won't give you as much value as BBQ. Plus, BBQ gives those beautiful bloodpoints as a bonus.
-
IMO, Jonah should either have a slightly larger great skill check zone, or have his skill checks appear more often to reward survivors that can hit great skill checks well.
Other than that, these are pretty cool and I would love for them to be in the game, would add a bit more variety to this game.
-
They should Just give him only 12 blades so that Only the good TricKsters are rewarded for accuratE aiming. 12 blades is enough for one down in order to reward good Trickster players.
-
I would just keep 4 scourge hooks while still making basement hooks scourges.
Brutal buff is a bit overkill, I would just change it to +30% faster breaking speed.
I'm a bit hesitant on the buff to ToT, but meh, it could probably be tested in a PTB.
Other than those, these are some solid changes I'd be down for.
-
Just do that as a buff to Slippery Meat, no need to make an entirely new perk just to give yourself BT.

Yup, and they got lucky. Is what you should be comprehending from all of that. I’ve been using that perk since Saturday. They don’t always spawn together like that. You act as if they’re clustered every single match. Sometimes they’re nowhere near each other. You’re mad because the RNG helped the killer. When RNG gives survivors obvious hex totem spawns, snd insane loops that’ll connect. Now there’s CoH that makes survivors heal insanely fast. Killers gotta go out of their way to stamp them out.
There’s plenty of ways to counter Scourge.
1.) Don’t fall anywhere near those hooks. RUN AWAY.
2.) Break those hooks when someone is about to be hooked on one.
3.) Use Oaks to increase the distance of all the hooks.
Every time killer gets something to balance survivors they whine. Then it gets nerfed in some silly way that makes it even worse. Like Hex Ruin. New Ruin is just awful (Brain Dead), and Old Ruin was more balanced.
Uh, dude, that's horrible luck right there man. Three scourges in one spot is basically only scourge hook in that area, and another one probably 63 miles away from the map,
The point of this thread is to show how annoying scourge hook spawns can be for the killer. This has nothing to do with scourges being unbalanced for survivors, in which they aren't.

The #FreeBilly movement in July 20-27 kinda got a decent amount of Billies (including me) playing for that whole week. I would love for more things like that to happen, community-driven events.
-
I'm excited to see! Happy holidays man!
-
It hurts to call him "NFT man."
I play him a lot and he's super fun, but he's also a huge pain to play as. It's what I call masochism, which makes sense after all because Pinhead is a... sadomasochist.
His power should be a lot more rewarding. Make long range shots rewarding, make it more difficult to remove chains by making it so collision doesn't remove the chains, yada yada.
-
Both large map sizes and survivor spawns combined, are the core issues that make generators done so quickly.

imagine they would re add his voice lines so after you hit such a shot he moans and says "I came", I can imagine that pretty damn well
Would be the best addition to the game by far.
-
They make sense for some cosmetics like Clown's Greek outfit making linked cosmetics a decent addition, but the fact that BHVR possibly offers license holders to make their cosmetics linked is quite annoying.
-
God I want that Pinhead change so badly, anything to make his long-range shots more rewarding.

Circle of Healing actually doesn't hurt Legion near as bad as anyone thinks it does.
Think about it. Legion can take Survivors from Healthy to Injured in 5 seconds pretty consistently. They also inflict Deep Wound. So you leave them be after that, they go recover at CoH. Not including travel time, they've still spent 28s recovering from something that took you 5ish seconds. You're still massively coming out ahead there. In fact, CoH can actually help you as Legion because it encourages the Survivors to waste those 16s healing up when you barely care if they do instead of staying injured, slamming gens, and playing super cautiously.
Now if you said Wraith was getting wrecked by Circle of Healing then yes. 100% agree with you.
That's a fair point, but at the same time, if you're going against survivors that are able to consistently loop M1 killers, Legion will be ran by them for more of the duration the other survivors mend and heal with CoH, and then they can do a gen while you pick up the surv, carry them to a hook, hook them, etc. Due to the inconsistency of their power being incredibly map-reliant and easily countered by splitting up, if you have happened to only injure one survivor, there will be 2 other survivors doing gens, one of them getting chased, and the other mending and healing on a CoH totem. Even if you injure 2 survivors, those two would probably heal each other up with the CoH bonus, and then immediately do a gen while the other guy is doing a gen.
Outside of CoH I do believe Legion is a lot stronger than given credit for, having built-in game slowdown and guaranteed first hits, as well as somewhat of an instadowning ability. However, I believe they would still be bottom 5 even without CoH due to being reliant on balanced maps as well as not having anything to help them down survivors while injured, but CoH really seems to have affected them.
-
I would honestly agree if it weren't for Circle of Healing (which shouldn't even be a perk to begin with).
-
Woohoo! Let's celebrate...! Right guys...? Guys?
-
It's basically Corrupt as an add-on, it's not too bad though. IMO it should keep 1 bear trap in your kit as a buff to the add-on.
-
- A bug that deletes all of your progress permanently
- A bug where the killer can't go in the killer shack by any means (Applies to all maps)
- Artist becomes 110%
- Pinhead nerf again: Only 2 chains spawn when chain bounding a survivor
- Legion nerf: No longer able to vault pallets
- Ghostface buff reverted, cooldown add-ons remain the same as they are when his base-kit got buffed
- Pig nerfed, again
- Dead Hard and CoH still remain unchanged, but Shadow Step and Exponential get nerfed
- Blight's collision adjusted to make it 10 times worse
- Blight's lag flicks get buffed indirectly
- Another Freddy nerf because ######### it he's still "overperforming" like Pinhead was
- For the actual mid-chapter release: MORE COSMETICSSSSS BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT EVERYONE WANTED!
-
Ehh... I would say no. Just delete CoH and turn it into an entirely new boon perk, because it shouldn't have even been a perk to begin with.
Shadow Step and Exponential would be too weak if they were even more limited than they already are.
-
I mean, we have Look-See shocking people with electricity when he never had that type of power in the series, I don't see why Mr. X can't have a tentacle to hit people with.
-
Wraith, Freddy, and Bubba actually have a secret ability in their kit that no one but me and BHVR knows about. I know this because my uncle's wife's boyfriend works at BHVR.
Their secret ability is having a 90% chance of moderately/considerably/tremendously decreasing the IQ of all survivors in the trial.
-
Meh, anything that'll keep me out of RPD. A broken RPD badge, I suppose.
I want them to be brown offerings, though.
-
Might be intended to allow for Trickster's wink to be more visible. Honestly though I like it better that way.
-
Candyman, Springtrap, Chucky, and Jason are my hopes for the 6th anniversary.
-
I would say neither. Exposed isn't annoying, rather it's scary to handle, and brings tension to the game.
-
Probably cleanse if you're in solos because of how unpredictable they are, and teammates can be bad in solo queue, allowing for Plague to snowball more easily. If you're in an SWF and your teammates are good, not cleansing would be the better option.

Man I would hate to see stationary wells all over a map. That would definitely not be thinking outside the box, however at the same time it wouldn't surprise me. 😕
Nah I was just mocking Freddy's rework. I honestly have no clue how her power would work but I hope BHVR comes up with something unique like the way they made Pinhead's power.

In the adventures in the fog... I have only found a measly 4...
legend has it... this is the 5th stadia player..
This... changes everything.
-
She would have 7 pools that slow survivors down, and a bunch of wells to teleport to. Oh and a crazy add-on that turns her pools into fake pallets.
-
No way.
After 10 months, I found a [BAD WORD] Stadia player. I thought it would take longer, but here we are.
-
I think Myers is very reminiscent to his film self. Probably the most accurate IMO.
The issue with Nemesis is that he's... just very unoriginally designed in DBD. People were fine with the others because they were actually unique in their own way (excluding GF but it's pretty justified for his case IMO), Nemesis doesn't feel unique.
-
Judging by how they never buffed Pig since a certain member of the balance team thinks she's an A-tier god because of her high kill rate, I can unironically see Nurse getting buffed sometime.
-
In its state it shouldn't really be a Scourge Hook perk, but I want it to be a Scourge Hook perk because we need more of them.
I think it should be buffed in general, to be more rewarding for going for the Scourge Hook.
-
The Trickster 2 featuring Dante from the Devil May Cry™ series.
-
Press E to extend chase. Or press E to gain an extra health state.
You can use it to dodge ranged attacks and make chases take 10 times longer.

bubba is eww
Billy Is Life
Nuh-uh.
Both are equally as awesome.
-
Just replace CoH with an entirely new perk. The perk should have never existed to begin with, same for old Undying which only had synergy with Ruin, Haunted Ground, and Retribution. Both CoH and old Undying are horribly designed perks.
-
Hot take, but I still find Slinger fun post-nerf. Slinger is still more powerful than Legion, but you might not find him as fun as Legion. Try both of them for a few games and see how you feel.
-
As long as DS deactivates after the 5th generator is complete, I am perfectly fine with that change. Either way, it needs to be tested in a PTB.
-
I agree, Legion is OP and needs a nerf. Being able to LITERALLY ignore pallets and windows like they're nothing?! They're like the Nurse 2. Time for the nerf hammer.
-
Sluzzy, who do you think is stronger, Leatherface or Nurse?
-
Ghostface will always be the lord and savior @Lord_Tony (RIP) to me.
As for Clown, they'd be @Dabihwow, @ClownIsUnderrated, @TheClownIsKing, and @Clowning (RIP for all of them) to me. All of them were awesome.
-
Ooo, sounds cool. I'm excited to see them!

I disagree with this. If I get unhooked with BT I should be able to protect my teammate if I want. This isn't even needed.
Sure, you can do that, but you shouldn't be able to. Killers shouldn't be punished for not wanting to tunnel.

This is...actually an incredibly elegant solution. 10/10.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2694478#Comment_2694478
It's perfectly fine when being used as an anti-tunnel/camp perk.
It's annoying when it's used as an offensive tool.
I didn't come up with the idea (other than the priority part) so I don't deserve credit, but it's by far the best solution IMO.
