Build 1 - Blast Mine, Repressed Alliance and anything else
Build 2 - Plunderers Instinct, Appraisal, Ace In The Hole, Built To Last (kind of overkill)
Build 3 - Inner Healing, Head On, Quick and Quiet, Flash Bang/DS
Build 4 - Any Means Necessary, Self-Aware (Fixated), Pebble, Head On/DS/Repressed Alliance (very unique perks).
Build 5 - Bond, Windows Of Opportunity, Kindred, After Care/Empathy/OoO/No One Left Behind
Build 6 - Deliverance, DS, Unbreakable, Soulguard/Tenacity (a good chance that you'll escape from first hooks at end game with this). If you're feeling ballsy remove DS and keep the rest of the build.
I'm definitely going to try these thank you

Amazing

Urban Evasion, Spine Chill, Inner Strength and it used to be Plunderers so I could get keys and escape but I switched it out with BT because of the current tunneling meta and I feel bad for the unhooked people.
What’s yours? Things have gotten a little stale for me and need to switch it up.
I have two stealth builds at the moment
1. Iron Will, Fixated, Premonition, Bond
2. Distortion, Technician, Iron Will, Calm Spirit.

Nothing wrong with playing stealthily. It’s my preferred style as well. Killers don’t like it because it makes their job harder.
Playing stealthy becomes a problem only when the player just hides and does nothing or refuses to take aggro for someone on death hook. They’re not obligated to, but one shouldn’t get mad when the team leaves them to die.
Yes. It's my preferred playstyle as well. (I was a claudette main when I first started playing) what is your stealth build if you don't mind me asking.
-
I actually love self preservation. You can almost always get away if someone takes a hit. A good anti tunnel perk.

No one wants to go back to pallet vacuums and infinites besides survivor mains
Wasn't trying to make this into a killer vs survivor post I was just asking question
-
Some killers won't be happy with survivors unless they run no perks. So I wouldn't dwell on it
-
I have been running this build a few times and it's fun. Although ita scary to think that this build can be shut down by a killer running the third seal or any other blindness effect perk or addon.
-
I think I like the concept of boon perks it's a new mechanic that changes things up a bit. But the problem is that it has been executed poorly. There are definitely changes that can be done to make them more fair and balanced.

Yes i can 100% see that it can be a fun perk to use and i'm not saying you can't have good results with it.
But from what you read on the forums this perk was going to be run every game on every survivor and killer gameplay would be impossible as they would just dissapear and insta heal at their boon totem and it was going to completly destroy any semblence of balance left.
4 times
In a week since it release i saw this perk 4 times
2 of them were adept achievement hunters
I think as a community we are apprehensive to change. Despite there being an overwhelming amount of survivor perks that are bad I still feel there are a few of them that are solid and a lot of people should use more like overcome.
-
I'm definitely going to continue to run it. It's fun to use.
-
Yeah cause killers never complain.
Ugh I don't understand why people continue to make these killer vs survivor post. Please stop doing this your just being messy

Lmfao, looping for a long time is exactly what makes a survivor skilful. Bad killers like yourself just make it easier and require less skill
I agree. I would also argue that being stealthy and being able to misdirect the killer also takes skill. Maybe not as much as looping but still

What in the ######### is the purpose of this thread?
To create even more of a divide between the community.
-
I can't tell if your trolling.
-
Using things in the game isn't abusing it. People throw around this ridiculous saying in order to make a point. Using strong perks, addons, and offering etc is fine

Lmfao, so how do you even think bully squad exists. Actually please why don’t you inform me what a bully squad does to be called a bully squad. Please enlighten me what they do because it’s so easy to deal with as a killer because they aren’t playing to win, only to meme
Am I the only one that don't buy when killers complain about bully squads? Killers complain about everything the survivors does and call it bullying. Use flashlight? Your bullying, bodyblocking to save a teammate? Your bullying? Using perk? Your bullying, just existing? your bullying. It's so ridiculous.
-
I have bearly seen anyone say she needs a nerf. I have seen the opposite actually. She is fine. She doesn't need a nerf nor a buff.
-
@GannTM said:
Exponential and Shadowstep are both fine perks imo. I like the idea of boon perks as a whole. I do agree COH is too much though.
I agree I think Exponential and Shadowstep are both fine. I just think Circle of healing needs to be toned down a bit
-
@Feyd said:
Yeah go for it. Give it the mettle of man treatment and make it completely useless. Self care already is more efficient unless the totem is right next to you and the killer ignores it, so go ahead and nerf it into the ground.
I agree with you. I'm worried about it being nerfed into the ground too but I honestly don't think this would nerf it into the ground. At the very least I feel we should test it
-
I can use all perks I just won't stack meta perks together. So I won't use ds and dead hard
-
Doesn't it deactivate when your unhooking?

I hear people bring up headsets like it matters. Do people NOT play this game with headsets? Why would you do that? Do survivors do that? Are you one of those people who plays music while DbD'ing and then is surprised when you get snuck up on?
So many questions.
I do play with them but they are decent for me. I find everything to be too loud recently. Buy they definitely do provide an advantage over people who don't

I have grown very fond of Flashlights lately. I bring one every chance I can..........OP is right though. Also I will add the crouching over PH/Hag I find that just ridiculous.
Do you guys really want killers to have no counter?
-
Personally I find Blight to be the most funniest killer to play against. Spirit I think is more fair and healthy and promote skillful inputs on both sides.
However I still feel I need iron will to have an better chance against them. I just don't think it's possible to do anything against a Spirt with the best headset and me without iron will. I could be wrong but thats just me.
-
Idk about a solution but I do know I can doing my part as a survivor main to try and prevent it by being as kind as possible to killers so they have fun too.
-
Sorry no
-
I think you can still be a bit diverse while taking DS. I do it sometimes
-
Honestly I will admit I overreacted about Boon: Exponential when I first heard of it. But then you realize it's a anti slugging perk which is too situational to be reliable. Mixed that with Boons niches you get a pretty mediocre perk
-
What's that supposed to mean?

I'm doing fine, thanks for asking!
I hope I didn't come off as passive aggressive with my first post. I genuinely meant that if you like the perk, to have fun with it.
It's fine. I respect your opinion
-
@QwQw said:
It's one of the most poorly designed perks in the game in my opinion, but have fun I guess.
I don't think I have seen you post in a while. How are you?

Nothing.
If DBD is not going to return to be the game I loved, then I will not return to the Fog.
What is the point of playing a game if you dislike it?
Don't give up hope friend. We can find a way

"Here's a question for you people who hate 'W holders'. What do you want them to do? Commit to the closest loop? "
As a hater of "W Holders", survivors committing to the closest loop is exactly what I wish to see.
I am from a time when the absolute majority of the cast could be looped in the regular manner.
And I would've liked if it had stayed that way.
But then again, that is just me.
Ok my friend. What's it going to take to get you to play again that doesn't involve going back to the past
-
@TacitusKilgore said:
You're a fan of... holding W...? Don't get me wrong its a great perk, but i fail to see how anybody would enjoy the perk. Compared to the joy of outplaying a killer with lithe, or head on, or deadhard, overcome has no tangible dopamine hit. Its very boring.
I guess I just like keeping distance between me and the killer. Imo don't think holding w is boring. In fact I think boring is not really a good word to describe anything in dbd
-
@GannTM said:
I’m not a fan of it personally. It kills slower killers and promotes holding W.
You got your killer. Leave my perk alone

Terribly designed perk with no counterplay that encourages holding w. Hope is gets removed along with dead hard soon.
Ok negative Nancy. Damn can I have some fun?
-
Not really no. Slugging is already niche coupled with the niche of a boon totem its not going to see much use
-
She doesn't need any buffs, what's wrong with you guys? She is strong and fair and that's enough.
-
I played against one so far. She is fine for now
-
I'm going to still cleasing totems. Pentimento slightly buffed inner Strength

No problem. Have fun playing the artist. Just dont forget about Spirt now

I just finished a chem exam to read the patch notes and I’m so happy 😊
How was your test?
-
I can't wait to play against her. It should be fun
-
Interesting. I wonder I counter force stacks with the rekindled totems
-
@TheGannMan your probably extremely happy about this aren't you?
-
They probably will change it I'm the mid chapter patch.
-
I say along with its current effect make you get the 7% haste for a short time after you complete a generator

Technician, Bite the Bullet, Corrective Action, and Stake out
That's an interesting one. So it's basically a skillcheck build

It already is and with overcome it will makes it even way easier to lose a killer than now currently.
Honestly you don't even need inner healing. Circle of healing would probably be best.

Only on first chase though, thats the nice part.
Im going to try it out a few times then never again so I won't feel like a terrible person
