    Crossplay on and off?

Crossplay off on ps4 is mostly 4man swf when I play killer. If you ask me how I know, I do because I see the same 4 people in lobbies often.

I didn't really play survivor without crossplay because I like killer variety. But solo q is hit or miss depending on the time of the day you play in general. I get better teammates during the day when the q's are short and vice versa at night.

I don't think that killers you get are unstoppable, it is just your teammates not being efficient and wasting time.

I play in ps4 too and the games are usually better in the morning. Teammates are better too. At night it mostly hell

    The high MMR comment absolutely.

Also, the "Why am I always with bad team mates" complaint, when I am certain it's not even mostly that way and they themselves are also highly likely to be that bad player also.

Finally, the idea hinted at, that without good perks you don't stand a chance. Skill, experience and creativity accounts for way more than what's given.

Would you believe the people that state that if they showed you proof?

  • i wish she was my Valentine. Well the one on the left.

If you don't like the uptick in survivors leaving others to die, blame the devs. According to them surviving is the correct/skilled choice and saving your friends means your not skilled. If you don't want to be stuck in low mmr hell then this is the correct play. Before this bs kills/escape came in I would go back for my team but since then I most likely wont risk it because if I die I get sent down mmr where my team is more deadly then the killer. They need to fix their system

These are facts, these are facts

I don't really mind FNAF as a series. I think it's cheap, but we have Trickster so.

It's the absolutely insane fanbase that puts me off.

the first two fnafs were ok but they were just jump scares. There are many other better licenses out there. I cringe when I see legion kill someone like David. Like how

Most hilarious moment was playing against a hag who triggered it and had all her nearby traps destroyed by the flash xD

I remember the first time I was trying to play Jill for adept, I was against a bubba and I used blast mine on him. So satisfying and rare that a bubba is actually playing normal usually they camp lmao

Sometimes this forums are tough to work with. Pulsar is a veteran ex-player who knows fully well what you mean, but sometimes people like to twist words a bit. Yes, you could spin the tale like this, that this three kept the killer busy, but I would bet my left arm (not confident enough to go for the right, but hey) that they were a SWF bully squad that had no interest in the proper game, but just wanted to torment the killer as much as possible and then usually kill themselves on hook once on of their number dies. Or if not and you speak out to them in the post game chat you just get stuff like "lol what? why take it so serious? Its just a gaaaame and we are just having fun. lulz"

BUT @BadZilla you might actually have the wrong impression about the MMR system, like so many. You mentioned making "no progess"? Thats nonsense. I am not sure if you gained 2 pips or not, but it sounds like it, and thats the only progress that matters.

Grades (that you need pips for) and MMR (an invisible score that many people apparently know so much about that they can speculate about their number) are two different systems. One is used for bragging rights, a few achievments and getting bloodpoints at the 13th each month, when they reset, and the other is used for matchmaking, but often does nothing due to queue length and player (killer) numbers. I mean, what do you have to gain from raising your MMR up in the air? You will get more tough opponents, more sweaty opponents, more SWF bully squads that know the game so well that this is the only fun they can gleen from it, etc. so the highest possible MMR isnt even something to strive for, especially since its an invisible number and you cant even brag about to be amoung the "x-amount of best players hurdur!".

The only thing were MMR truly matters is the lowest reaches of it, knows as MMR-Hell for survivors. Down there you are on your own, your teammates know nothing, no one comes for saves and sweaty NOED Wraith lord over their fiefdoms of terrified peasant, themselves being prisoners to this lands because every time they tried to assault their neighbors, any experienced survivor will repell their weak tactics.

But alas, you seem to have left MMR-Hell long ago, so rejoice! And dont think too much about invisible numbers. One thing that the MMR system does halfway right (sometimes .. maybe) is giving you more non-sweaty games if you dont sweat it too much yourself. I once was (maybe) in high MMR, because I sweated each and every game, gave it my all and tried to get as many survivors as possible! But after a while my gaming experience really suffered because of it. You know tha tales: each game felt like the finals in the dbd worldchampionship, only super coordinated SWF sweat squads or super-coordinated SWF bully squads, no quarters given, no querters expected. After a while it kinda broke me and I relaxed my games. I still got a lot of wins, but most of the time I give the last one the hatch. For me this keeps my MMR a little bit lower (not too much though since its the last kill), it nearly always gives you a positive response in the post game chat and a fuzzy feeling when they thank you and in case of a super sweaty squad I just let one of them loop me for three minutes, then open the doors myself and be off to a new game.

Pulsar isn’t a Veteran Ex-player, he is the goat

  • I’d rather delete her, facing her every 4 games is annoying but that’s just me lmao

Blame the overly annoying and unnecessarily toxic Demo players I've faced.

Demogorgon is a symbol of BMs and tunnel, unfortunately.

😞I try to give the last person hatch as demo. Sometimes even let two people escape if they are using a survivor they like

  • @Amb104 said:

I've had an idea for a new mechanic that might improve the game a little, since the game is currently lacking in both fun and surprises.

My idea is simply to rank all perks and limit what perk combinations you can bring, both for camper and survivor. All perks get ranked into three tiers, where you can only bring one top-tier perk, one mid-tier and two lower-tier. You can also replace a higher tier with one lower if you want to (e.g. you could bring two mid-tier and two low-tier perks or all low-tier etc.). Both campers and survivors complain about certain meta perks the other bring, so why not force everyone to be a bit more creative with their builds? Survivors won't be able to run a DS, Dead hard and BT build for instance, as all these perks would be top-tier. Same with campers. Campers can't just run BBQ, Ruin, NOED, etc.

I think introducing a system like this would force people to try something different, or at the very least it could balance things out a little by limiting the use of meta perks. I know the devs aren't interested in improving the game experience, but I'm still interested in hearing other people's thoughts and suggestions on this.

    “Campers”?

They all have the same intros, the white outline thumbnail, have their character (usually nea🤮 or bunny feng 😐) zoomed in and that gets stale after a while. And the usual 360s bs that shows so much skill😒

At this point, I don't even try, I haven't even touched in a gen in 4 games, I just run around, roleplaying as a DBD youtuber, flashlight saving my potato teammates from the even worse killers. I feel like the emblem of wrath for solo queue, my battle endless, yet I will never give up, nor will I grow tired, I bully baby killers to be bullied 10x harder. My teammates always get out at my expense, I must be in the negatives of mmr, but I simply don't care. I will lose, and lose, and lose, and lose. At this point, my skill has become a curse, I used it to take revenge upon those who had wronged me, but now it is a burden. I don't care how many "gg ez's" are thrown at my way, gg wp is all I know, it doesn't matter how many basement Bubba's, or Rancor Spirits, or the legions of baby killers I face, I will never not love every second of looping them into oblivion, and watching as they grovel at my feet, staring up at me, the hook my throne, I don't even attempt to escape, they know all they have left is to stare into my eyes as they facecamp me.

    Yikes

  • @WesCravenFan said:

I asked Mandy this very same question and got no response.

It would be logically easier to deal with one perk that is already causing a nightmare in this game than it is to try to recode multiple killer powers. This move does not make any sense from either a workload perspective or a game design perspective. Dead Hard is a poison in this game and I have no idea why such efforts are made to defend it.

Just delete dead hard, problem solved

  • Freddy And it’s not even close. His laugh is bada*s. Deathslingers is ok but the rest are just annoying

  • @ThatOneDemoPlayer said:

    Demogorgon is A tier

The win conditions of the game, escaping and killing, don't require skill, only slight game knowledge

Trickster was at his strongest on his release

    NOED is fine

SoloQ is about as good as SWF, you just don't escape against S tier Killers consistently anymore

Plague was A tier even before her recent buff

Trapper will always be the weakest Killer

Overcome is the second best Exhaustion Perk, right behind Dead Hard

    CoH should've never existed

    Gen speeds are fine

Maps and Survivor spawns are really, really bad

The game is not in the best state, the best state was after the 2021 September Mid-Chapter patch

Me and you put the same thing for demo Lmao

    Killer - Pig

    Jill Valentine/ Claire Redfield

    Demogorgon

i know everyone knows this by now so I’ll do second

    Nancy Wheeler

    Pyramid Head

  • @neb said:

Weird how some survivors don't like going against nemesis and pyramid head and think they're horrible designed killers because "anti loop" when demogorgon is literally anti loop himself but people don't trash talk him because "oOOOo DemO PUppY". Not saying people should hate demogorgon, I'm a demo main, but the double standards from some survivors are insanely odd and mind numbing.

And that us demos mains are legends so even the toxic survivor main respect us. Funny thing is I love nemesis and pyramid head lmao it’s playing against boring killers like pig huntress and legion that makes me want to play something else lmao

  • @loeuphoria said:

Okay so hear me out lol

It's difficult to get what you're looking for specifically out of a bloodweb right? Wouldn't it be cool to have a little bit more control on it? When you P3 a survivor or killer, you should unlock the ability to have a new type of mystery box in your bloodweb. This will be your benefit of prestiging up to level 3, since right now we just get bloody cosmetics and that's all. The icon could look like the regular mystery box icon we already have, but it will have a question mark on it. That way you'll know the difference between a regular one and the special mystery box.

So here's the idea: choosing a special mystery box will grant you two types of bloodwebs on your next bloodweb that you get to choose from. You get to choose if your next bloodweb will be full of a specific thing (items, addons, offerings) OR a mix of all that at a specific rarity instead. The color of the special mystery box will determine the rarity if you choose to go that route.

So for example brown offerings, items and addons are 3,000 points. So for a special mystery box for only brown items addons and offerings in the next bloodweb, it can cost 15k to open it. (3x5). For a special mystery box for yellow items, offerings and addons it can cost 20k to open it. (4,000 x 5) and so on and so forth. That way if you want to stock up on anything yellow you can pay for that and your next bloodweb will be full of that only.

If instead you want to go for specifics, then the other special mystery can be a base price of whatever you guys think is a decent price, (I have no idea) and then the next bloodweb can be full of map offerings only if you want since those are all green now anyways. It can be full of medkits of all colors, it can be full of toolbox addons, flashlight addons etc.

Same for killer too! if you want more Double Engravings for Billy, you can buy a special mystery box and choose for your next bloodweb to just be full of addons, nothing else. Or you can choose a colored special mystery box and pick yellow or green but understand that you'd get a mix of yellow and green offerings as well as addons since you're paying for the rarity not the specific thing.

This should only be accessible to people who have those characters P3 as an incentive to want to level them up. Also when someone prestiges for the first time, they should have all their perks at Tier 1 automatically. When they prestige 2 a character, they should have all their perks at Tier 2 automatically. Then for P3 they have to buy them since it'd be the last step. Or if no one wants that, at least let everyone keep all their items and addons and offerings they bought after each prestige so that all they're really doing is gaining the new perk tiers. During events especially, it sucks that you lose things like the blighted serum for killer and survivor (side note: can those come back every Halloween? They're so fun) if you have to prestige a character in the middle of it.

The idea for an "envelope item" is you can find it in a chest and it's yours to keep whether you escape or die as survivor. It's automatically "consumed" once picked up. You get extra points and then you're back to not holding anything in your hand. When you go back to your bloodweb as whatever character you found it on, that counts as one "ticket" that you can cash into your bloodweb for a free special mystery box of your choice but they can only be earned/found in public matches etc. For killer as well, maybe one special hook (it won't be highlighted to the killer like a scourge hook so that it'll be random for them just like survivor) but when they hook the survivor, they'll get notified that they earned a special mystery box of their choice for the killer they're playing right now, they'll earn extra points from that hook and the prize will be waiting for them after the match to use as well.

If you made it this far, I do have another post I added today about some tweaks to a few perks, on-screen icons and aura colors too if anyone wouldn't mind looking at that as well but I think that's the general idea I was going for with the special mystery box. Just more incentive to want to level up your characters especially if you're moving from console to pc (everyone has their own killer and survivor mains anyway) but just an idea to throw out there. 😎

    Fan of Euphoria I assume?

    Hot take for both sides

Survivor: Claudette, Feng, and Nea are the 3 most overrated and annoying survivors in the game

    small game is garbage

    Nancys are great teammates
