I forgot to mention you need proof which is hard obtain without them explicitly stating they were communicating. DBD doesn't come with intrusive software to detect outside communication.
they have fog whisperers who stream dbd while doing voice comms in swf. they have proof of those guys doing it so why arent they banned? probably because it isnt cheating

Then you aren't in your correct rank bracket. That isn't an illustration of DS needing a longer time.
rank means very little in this game and isn't a good representation of a player's skill. there are good players in green ranks, and bad ones in red ranks. there is no "correct rank bracket"

You aren't supposed to last that long in a chase, that's entirely the point and illustrates a problem in the game.
well when u take a bad player and put them against a better one what do you expect? the game to just hand you the down?

Which game?
DbD has 2 playstyles: stealthy OR aggressive (pallet looping).
She actually fits in category 1. So she doesn't break anything.
And btw, once you are extremely unpredictable you can push a nurse into category 2 and loop the ######### out of her. U just need LOS blocks.
right. that works vs nurses that dont play her well. you should be blinking next to the LOS blocker then readjust with ur next blink. u dont loop nurse lol
-
it'd be great if she didnt break the game anymore, so I have to disagree with u

While its supposed to be an anti tunneling perk, it lasts too long, as I've managed to down and hook another survivor, stumbled upon the survivor who got unhooked, and go to pick them up because I figure they surely don't have DS because I didn't TUNNEL them, and then get hit by it anyways. It needs to go down to 20/30/40 seconds from 40/50/60 seconds.
yet at the same time I could be tunneled off hook but play well enough to last more than 60 seconds in a chase, so I lose out on using ds. I like how it is right now though
-
this is like, dying light levels of tunnel-encouraging
-
if they REALLY broke rule #5, wouldn't most swf groups have received bans for it? why even mention that?
-
id prefer to balance moris instead of actually hiding them

Because the only thing we want from survivors are screams, blood and guts! Keep those envelopes for yourselves. I have a few Bloody Party Streamers in some of my killers'inventories but I won't use them because I will not give ANYTHING to survivors but a painfull death.
Now that I think about it, I did use a BPS as a killer once with Hintress....as bait to make them think I was a friendly killer, I equiped the red hatchet and purple belt as well and begun the slaughter. It was marvelous
okay then
-
just buff the A tier killer 4head. and trapper just needs to start with all his traps.

Uhm, you do realize the Broken status effect keeps the Survivor from being healed, right?
This means if they are using No Mither, or get hit one of the various addons that cause the Broken status, then you can't heal them.
This probably isn't a bug fam.
it's most definitely a bug. it's happen to multiple times in solo and swf, so I know my friend wasn't holding shift or broken

No one runs Stridor because it's bad and sounds are messed up.
Thanata is trash, idk why you'd even bring that up.
Being one shottable with blood trails and moaning sounds is pretty irrelevant when there's more than enough pallets and windows to get 5 gens done before you run out. Staying injured isn't as dangerous as you and the devs think it is.
if you're taken on a 5 gen chase that's on u lol. if being 1 shot wasn't a big deal people wouldn't still be running exposed perks
-
so instead of dcing before the game starts, canceling the match so no one has to play a 3v1, they can dc at the start of a game to make everyone suffer. nice
-
horribly unbalanced but G FUEL TO INSTANTLY RECOVER FROM EXHAUSTION
-
if their is an obsession in your game and u dont have an obsession perk, u can expect ds/mom. the downside for the survivors is they are unlikely to get their ds off because you'll be expecting it, and the downside for object is that the killer can also see u. there rly isnt a downside for mom, which is a big LOL

, you can get downed on porpuse and the perk will activate.
it doesn't activate upon being downed, and having to purposely down yourself or else lose out on being able to use your perk is bad game design
-
@Andreyu44 said:
"It counters tunneling 1!1!1!1"
BS even if you dont tunnel you might be striked by this "fair" perk.
MoM is obviously OP and I think we can all agree with that
just like how even if u get tunneled your ds timer could run out.
-
having all killers running around with no terror radius outside of chase doesnt sound very balanced (since u mentioned combining it with monitor)
-
I dislike bloodlust already and hope they look into it with these loop changes, however, bad window setups (such as 2 L T wall structures being right next to each other) would have to be looked into.
-
well, the perk designed to be anti-tunnel is preventing the killer from tunneling. what's wrong with that?

What would you say is a good build for spirit ?
bbq, ruin, nurses, sloppy/whispers
-
spirit is stronger vs better survivors than billy is because she doesn't care about loops
-
nurse, billy, spirit, huntress and hag.
-
a bad player who thinks running infinites makes them good :/

1 person pulling a cord doesn't cause 1+ other people to disconnect in a simultaneous fashion. The true over-exaggeration is the likeliness of someone actually getting up just to unplug their cable to exit a match. I'd wager that about 99% of DCs are NOT someone wasting the time and effort to pull their ethernet.
alt tabbing and disconnecting your internet takes 5 seconds, not a lot of time or effort required
-
fun fact: disconnecting your internet also doesn't make a sound when you leave, and allows you to keep your item, so this isn't very credible. you'd have to contact all those people and ask them if they chose to dc or not (even then some of them could lie about it)
edit: I'm not saying this doesn't happen, I'm saying this could be overexaggerated, as people are willing to dc over almost anything

According to your own words, an unused perk is a wasted perk slot.
There you are, that's the comparison I made.
right. I said that when? my problem is a perk that is supposed to be "anti-tunnel" doesn't actually do that well. putting words in other people's mouths makes you look bad
-

That would be like saying Adrenaline sucks some times because you took the hatch without having used it.
how is that comparable to the trial ending? the game goes no further for u once u escape, the game is still going after getting chased off hook lol
-
you have situations like the one you described where, yes, you weren't tunneling but still got hit by ds. then you have other games where you're immediately getting chased again off hook but you have a setup strong enough to last you more than 60s, or the killer doesn't run loops well. you were tunneled in this scenario, but you were good enough to last more than 60s, so you dont get a chance to use ds without intentionally going down. it can suck for both sides
-
the thing about the terror radius based perks is generally only killers with a big terror radius would use them, so getting out of the terror radius for more than 15 seconds would be tough. take a smaller map offering and it's basically a permanent effect with nothing survivors can do about it. hard to compare it with the changes some survivor perks got because those perks require u to he within 8 meters, a fourth of the 115% movement speed killers
-
I'm 100% sure you could simply just go around it, or fake going around it to bait them into not vaulting. theres also the really neat mechanic of kicking the pallet
-
all u need to be a decent spirit is a good pair of headphones.

It's 5 seconds now, unless I missed something, and it used to be 3. It was increased to 5 with the excuse that it was too short with Enduring. Now, once Enduring is changed so it doesn't affect DS's stun, DS must go back to 3 seconds. No ifs, ands, or buts about it.
3 seconds was too short even without enduring
-
not saying I play this way nor do I support it, but baiting your teammates like that is as much of a strategy as tunneling off hook. dick move and unnecessary, but it works
-
doesn't mending take much longer than snapping out of it? and can't u stack addons to make it take even longer? what are the numbers? how long does it take to snap out of it compared to mending, and how long is mending with each/both blade to increase mending time?
-
OP getting dressed in the morning-
-
I think it's for players who can't reliably create pressure due to a lack of skill. like camping, the killer is only really focusing on one player, removing all interaction between the killer and the rest of the survivors. it's just boring to be against, and I don't feel like I actually won without giving the other side a fair chance. it's not hard to create, and then hook a survivor in a dead zone then focus them off hook lol
-
I tried to because I hit rank 5 in a day, and queue times were starting to hurt. but I forgot that dcing gets rid of your pips until the next time u play a full match, then they return you to your rank (wish this was fixed). so me and a friend decided to run ds, mettle, borrowed and object/head on and only get chased and farm each other. however, most of the time we be black pipped, only depping like once, guess I also forgot you have to REALLY try to throw hard if u want to depip lol

If I am reading this correctly, the game somehow thought that artist had vaulted the window twice while hooked, causing the game to block the window for artist after a first vault.
Meaning they got hit by a bug that screwed them over.
exactly. thanks

If I'm using a bug to my advantage, then yes, I am abusing and exploiting it.
I don't really see the need to mince words.
did u read the post? what happened to me wasn't an advantage lol

Lithe and Balanced Landing eliminates dead zones too, unless you are already in one.
And if you go down before you can get to something to use Balanced Landing or, especially, Lithe then the issue isn't the Exhaustion Add-ons. You shouldn't need to start a chase with SB to get to a loop.
you're right, you should play smarter than that. but that's why sprint burst exists lol, having to hang around those areas to avoid exhaustion addons would be baiting ur team once the gen in that area is finished. also to correct u, it's not going down before u can reach a structure, u have to reach that structure before getting hit with exhaustion.
edit: also they can elminate dead zones, but that's a lot more situational than sprint burst doing it
-

The one that you waste every time you want to run for any reason and gains you distance before the killer commits to the chase, so he can choose whether he wastes time on you or not, unlike the others that gain you advantages when he's already commited and force him to waste time? Yeah, that one's a tad weaker than the others
really? using dead hard as a free hit? also u should specify by potential you mean what loops can be opened up, I interpreted it as potential uses of the perk (as in how often u can activate it). sprint burst is the only exhaustion perk to elminate creating dead zones as an option. I understand the drawback, but it isnt nearly as much of a downside of not having the structure u need near by
