He doesn't need nerfed. Let good killers be good.

It works on your terror radius though, you should be waking up against Freddy because of slowdown add ons anyway and Huntress’s lullaby isn’t directional anymore so your main way to react is sight or the terror radius.
Freddy I can kind of see it being good on, but Huntress doesn't have any difference with it. You're gonna hear the terror radius only when she's right on top of you anyway; the humming is what makes most survivors prepare/hide/whatever.
-
Seems pretty good, but I say that you should 15 seconds minimum for base mending.

What? Freddy and Huntress def benefit from MaO, Huntress especially. Having a 20 meter terror radius reduced too 12, plus the fact her lullaby isn't directional based, and you can get some pretty sneaky huntress hits. Freddy with MaO is great when paired with the pills, as it makes him a lot sneakier and harder too detect.
It doesn't work on lullabies. The devs have confirmed this.
-
Maybe you need to chill tf out and realize that you're biased to the survivor side. BL needed the nerf; it's down to the level of the other exhaustion perks now.

Happy thanksgiving all!

I like to think Larry's is a good map for Trapper too, because of all the unexpected corners
100% no. Traps stick out like a sore thumb on that map. Even those corner traps are ridiculously predictable.
-
Definitely just you. Yeah, the window traps are nice but Macmillian is his best map, no argument because of how dark it is. Even better with tar bottle.

Just a thought... the difficulty or "grindy" part of these challenges wouldn't be as painful if we were able to work on say a couple at a time? This probably wouldn't ever happen but for instance "escape 10 trials" is minimum 10 rounds realistically more like 20+ for the average player. I know I don't escape every other round. Of course I'm a more risky type player by nature but if you were able to work on that one and say "fully depleted 8 keys" at the same time. You could still be doing challenges but not having to run double the rounds to achieve it...
Community thoughts here? Again this was just brainstorming
This definitely would help a ton

KILLER
Overrated: NOED. It’s terrible.
Underrated: Monitor and Abuse. Every killer (except Spirit) can benefit from this perk and allows them to get closer without having survivors scatter.
SURVIVOR
Overrated: SPINE CHILL! I see so many people saying it’s a GOD tier perk. It creates immersion lords and makes players stealthy when they don’t need to be. If I have eyes or ears I can hear Myers breathing and Ghostface’s cape flapping. Sorry but I don’t need a perk to tell me when the killer is coming. Not my playstyle I guess.
Underrated: Adren...wait no. Balanc...no not that one. Oh I got it, DEJA VU!
No...seriously probably Iron Will. Everybody should run this perk. I’ve lost so many killers this way.
Freddy and Huntress do not benefit from M&A. I'd be willing to bet that demodaddy doesn't either.
-
Overrated - Enduring / Balanced Landing
Underrated - Corrupt Intervention / Autodidact
-
What
-
A lot of the time I've noticed that groups like THAT just want to meme. For example, Otzdarva had a game a while ago with 4 pizza Dwights who just stood there and spammed their flashlights at the speed of light. Memers like to play games too.
I enjoy those types of games. If they teabag and point while still taking the game seriously is when it gets old.
-
Rank doesn't matter.
-
But wouldn't it be so festive if we gathered maple syrup from Christmas trees instead of the blight from pustula plants??

Billy is the single most boring killer in dbd after Legion.
False. That title belongs to Doctor.
-
Perks: Haunted Ground, Ruin, Save the Best for Last and either Bamboozle or Brutal Strength. You want to try to snowball early (H.G.) so you can keep up consistent pressure throughout the match and gain it as EARLY as possible.
Add-ons: I use double reload speed just out of preference, but the yellow exhaust and the green extra hinder are probably the best.
Edit: Infectious Fright instead of Brutal is also super good.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. Your goal is to not die, and if throwing those pallets makes you not die, there's nothing to be ashamed of.
For higher level play, you'll want to conserve pallets as much as possible, though. Pallets are a finite resource. Once they're gone, they're gone. You'll ideally want to save as many as possible by using windows when you can and only dropping pallets when the killer is close. Using a bunch of pallets might keep you alive, but later in the match you'll have none left to use. Sometimes it's better to go down than to use a bunch of pallets.
Yeah, what he said!
-
So... you don't want to play Billy because of his appearance? Beggers can't really be choosers, dude.
Otherwise, do Spirit. She's the easiest killer to be extremely effective with and her power is unmatched right now.
But Billy's more fun.
-
Nope, not camping at all. You would have had to be actually braindead to leave the hook in that scenario. They're just mad that they're morons.
-
Thanataphobia, Dying Light, Sloppy Butcher (or Pop) and Ruin with Iri button and Stolen Sketch Book.

@Rinthespooki said:
Might be difficult? Maybe in r20-r15 but good luck having 5 traps cath survivors that are optimal.
Besides that some force you to play swf because trying to do it solo is a giant middlefinger from bhvr to you.
Also dont take this as an insult or an attack, just a mere observation, but i get the feeling you are trying to make these "challenges" not look bad because you want to keep that trusted title, againt not an insult or an attack just an observation and a good one since i always see people trying to defend stuff that is lazily made only to get goodboy points from dev.
(And i have a feeling il get banned for posting this but cant care enough if i get spat by the community everyday for 3 years straight)
Bruh.. just go to Macmillian with a bag and a tar bottle. It's literally the easiest thing in the world. Rank 1 btw.

So first my overall thoughts...I love the archives as a whole. They give me something extra to work towards and get some decent cosmetic stuff for them. I do agree with most here that the complete "x" in a single trial in most cases sucks. It's more stressful than fun but I do them.
I want to solidify my feelings here before the next point cause I know I'm going to get blasted...I do like the archives... that said I feel overall they are for the more hardcore players and not the casual players. Reason I feel this way... the dev said anyone should be able to complete all of the archives by playing 1 hour a day. Let's average this out. Between wait times and all that crap you can realistically expect around 3 matches per hour. So over the course of the 21 days for this page you would play approximately 63 matches... no way you complete the entire page with 63 matches when 1 trial is escape 10 trials (that's minimum 10 matches) entirely use 8 keys (that's typically going to be another 8 rounds) unhook 25 survivors (even say you are getting 5 per match there's another 5 rounds). At this point you've only completed 3 challenges and you are a third of the way through your 63 matches for playing an hour a day... so again I like the archives and I will be completing it (mostly because I have no life! 🤣) but I feel it's unrealistic to say it can all be completed with 1 hour a day of play time... sorry for the super long drawn out comment! Lol
You perfectly sum it up though. That's exactly it. And I love them too - just SOME could definitely be improved.

Survivor favorite: Autodidact
Least: S E L F C A R E
Killer: Save the Best
Least: probably Hangman's Trick.

Pig because she T bagged me once
Doctor because he made me go insane and not able to drop a pallet and I died
Clown because with how fat he is he should be slower than a survivor
Cannibal because I shouldn't die to his M2 even if I am running in a straight line
Wraith because he hit me once and I'm not okay with that
Trapper because his power holds my game hostage.
-
She's already almost never picked because she sucks unless the survivors suck worse. Why do we want to nerf her?
-
Are you even speaking English? This might be the most incoherent post I've read on these forums.
-
Mid-chapter update:
We've noticed that killers overall are too strong, leading to overperformance. From here on, the first time the killer is stunned in any trial, the killer will die.
We've also buffed survivor repair speed by 400%. This change should help increase survivors escapes throughout all ranks.

Yes but noed is just a revenge perk helping you gettin meaningless Kill after you lost the Game (and the Survivor already won). While DS activates on every Hook and helps you win the Game ^^
There is a reason why better Killers dont run noed (and its not em being nice) you rather bring Pop goes the Weasel to help you win the game not a silly perk which only activates after you lost the game...
Game isn't lost until survivors escape. I don't noed but it definitely isn't a failure perk.

A lot of killers can get around bt i think its completly negated by pig if she crouches and tier 1 michael drk for sure though.
But Freddy can literally just stand there and look at me. At least Pig and Michael are weaker; anyone who has to camp as Freddy is just doo doo.

Not to mention... isn't that the same reason they changed Legion?

GRIEFING: INTENTIONAL GAMEPLAY ABUSE
Targeting specific users repeatedly in order to ruin their game experience
That is from the rules quoted.
So tell me why tunnelling IS NOT bannable?
It means over multiple games.

Dude... no lie, you're a beast. I genuinely think this would be a sick chapter!

Same reason survivors complain about tunneling/slugging.

Trapper: Whispers, Corrupt, Save the Best for Last, Pop/Nurse's/Sloppy/Dying Light depending.
Survivor: Adren, Dead Hard, Autodidact, Iron Will/Q+Q

It happens. Don't be a baby and rage quit.

This community is toxic as anything but honestly you need some thicker skin, man. It's just a game; remember that they're the losers screaming about a video game while you're just trying to have fun.
Also you can hide the chat at the end.

I feel like the complaint of ‘some of the add-ons aren’t too good’ is true of every killer. Avoid them on the bloodweb and never use them until a new purpose is found.
This is true, but I would hope that all killers eventually get the same kinds of changes.
-
I would love this so much. Evil Dead is one of my favorite trilogies of all time and I want to see more of it in DbD!
-
I never DC but I DO agree that forever Freddy is lame to play against. That and DL/Thanata Plague. I like long games but not 30 minute games.
Edit: Dying Light/Thana on Trapper is good though. Slows them down enough for emblems but not to the point of nothing getting done.

I honestly just hope Adrenaline doesn't activate when hooked and no speed boost when exhausted.
I'd even be okay with keeping the speed boost. But the fact that you get a boost, a health state, AND it ignores every effect except broken? That's messed up. Make it so it doesn't activate off hooks and go from there; I think that would be enough.
