New Killer - The Mechanic

Tony Lancer was brought up in a small town in Southwest United States by his single father, Martin. The two of them worked a Father/Son auto shop together for over two decades. Tony's dad had taught him everything he knew and each of them respected one another to a high degree. They lived a simple, honest lifestyle for the longest time until one angry customer paid them a visit. The customer complained that Martin had broken something on his car a few days prior and was the cause of an accident that caused a small dent in the driver side door. Martin denied being at fault but still offered to fix it anyway; free of charge. The customer was still angry and didn't give Martin the chance; instead saying that Martin would have to pay for it another way. The next morning, Tony was greeted by his father's corpse hanging from the roof with multiple stab wounds all over his body.

Long after, Tony still ran the shop by himself. Things were going normal until the same customer walked in saying that he needed more work done on his car and for Tony to not screw it up unless he wanted to have the same fate as his old man. Tony knew he had no way to prove who his father's killer was. So he had to take matters into his own hands. Tony still fixed the man's car, but also tweaked a few things, rigging it to malfunction after about 15 miles of driving. He told the man he was finished and even took him on a test drive to prove that everything was in proper working order. The man took his keys back and told Tony to keep doing things right unless he wanted a problem.

Two days later, Tony read in the morning paper that the man had died in a car accident with no way of telling what caused it in the first place. But he wasn't satisfied. Working in the customer service business lead him to meet many good people as well as many he deemed "unnecessary". For the next few months, Tony did the same thing to any customer who doubted or threatened him in any way, shape or form. Each time, he got away with it. No one ever suspected a thing.

That all stopped however, when one night after work, Tony was walking to the corner store for something quick to eat. Going across the street, he turned his head to see a bright light coming towards him. No sound. Just a light. He froze. Next thing he saw was darkness before waking up in a forest with not a single soul to be seen...

Killer Stats

Movement Speed: 115%

Killer Power - Oil Slick

As The Mechanic, press and hold M2 to charge up your Oil Slick ability. While charging, you cannot stop charging until you have reached a full charge and your movement speed is reduced to 105%. Charging by default takes 10 seconds. Movement speed is returned to normal when at a full charge.

Once at a full charge, you can press M2 to release the Oil Slick. It is a small wave of sticky oil that comes out in front of The Mechanic and attaches itself to survivors in an 8 meter cone. Afflicted survivors will be sent in the direction they're facing at 115% movement speed for 5 seconds OR until they collide with an object. Afflicted survivors standing still will be stuck to the floor for 5 seconds. All afflicted survivors also receive the Blindness status until they are hooked.

The Mechanic also has a passive ability called Oil Trail. While in a chase, The Mechanic will leave a trail of oil on the ground behind him. Any survivor that walks into the oil will be stuck for 3 seconds. Any survivor that runs into the oil will be sent slipping in the direction they're facing at 115% movement speed for 3 seconds as well as let out a scream. Crouching survivors are unaffected. The oil lasts for 5 seconds.

Killer Perks

Rusty Metal: All these mechanisms are old and worn out. So you know when they're being tampered with. Lockers, generators, and exit gates being interacted with by survivors shows the aura of that device within a range of 16/20/24 meters.

Honest Work: Doing your job fairly and efficiently results in good things. Start out with zero tokens. Each time you hook a different survivor than the one that was unhooked the most recently, you gain a token. Each time you hook the survivor that was most recently unhooked, lose of all your tokens. For each token, generator regression rate is increased by 3/4/5%.

Mechanical Corrosion: Sometimes, machines have to be cleaned before they can be in working order. At the start of a match, a thick layer of sticky fluid covers 1/3/5 generators and must be wiped clean by survivors before they can start repairing it. Only one side of the generator must be cleaned off to start repairs. Additional sides must be cleaned off for additional survivors to work on the same generator. The cleaning action takes 30 seconds per side. Cleaning action does not have skill checks and grants 100 points in the objective category.

New Survivor - Kent Stinger

Kent Stinger grew up in Boston in the early 1950's. He got into fights a lot in his school days and barely graduated. He fell into a group of greasers soon after graduation and quickly rose through their ranks and became their new ruthless leader. Together, they'd go around town and cause havoc and light mayhem to its citizens.

Kent was always the first one to start a fight and always the one to finish it. He was the kind of guy to start conflict just for the fun of it. No one who knew him dared to cross him. But all of this changed when he went out on the town by himself. No one knows where he went. All they knew was that he never came back. The only thing they found was his comb in an alleyway...

Survivor Appearance

Kent Stinger has short, combed, greased black hair. He wears sunglasses along with a black leather jacket with a white undershirt and dark blue jeans.

Survivor Perks

Stress Free: You're perfectly collected in all you do. No room for mistakes; only precision. Start out with zero tokens. For each Great Skill Check, you gain a token; up to 6/8/10 tokens. For each token, gain a 10% decrease in sound from repairing/sabotaging/healing actions. Any sound made through cooperative actions is also reduced.

Instigator: You love to poke the beast with a stick just for the thrill of it. When in the killer's line of sight, use a gesture to increase your movement speed to 150% for 3 seconds. Doing so will give you the Exhausted status for 60/50/40 seconds. Perk cannot be triggered while Exhausted.

Eye for an Eye: You don't have time to deal with anything tedious. Once per match, go up to a totem and break it in 3/2/1 second(s). Doing this gives you the Exposed status for 60 seconds.

New Map - Rustville

Rustville is a medium sized map set up with mostly small buildings. A few houses will be borrowed from Badham and Haddonfield. There will also be a few new buildings such as a corner store, a courthouse, a bell tower and a small government building. The map will also have a killer shack where the basement could spawn in either there or the bell tower.

Rustville will have a grey/brown/orange color palette.
