Its a 4v1 having the 4's perk beat the one is kind of backwards don't you think?

The spawns might be just unlucky for you in terms of using lethal. However the fact people know you're there and pointing and stuff might be because object or if you're playing Daddy Nemi might be because it's his perk and I've seen alot run it lol
They are not using the perk or i wouldn't mention it. the game fails when it comes to anticheat.
-
You have survivor with friends who actually know each other irl and are different skill levels, then you have survive with dbd acquaintances who group together to remove weak links. Good luck beating the latter and hope you live in a region with more of the former.

This is a weird thread
Just keep getting different conditions when i do or don't use it. or it could be a coincidence.

Ps no object of obsession is being used before people bring that up.

Would be nice to get more zombies but apparently they tried 4 and it broke the game. AKA they need to hire someone actually good at coding.

So every person who buys it gets to tier 70?
If i don't get to tier 70 i don't buy it.
-
This never seems to happen to me.. its either randoms or a group just holding m1 all game and running me as far away from gens as they can making a 20 second chase actually = 40-50 seconds with travel time.

I mean sure just ignore what i said and ######### instead. Why bother learning how to play vs killers, just stay on here and keep whining untill she gets gutted
You gave a counter that has a limited use and a lot of luck to have in the first place and another counter that you expect someone to do who isn't on coms and have a miserable experience anyway and also doesn't work with terrible servers in this game.
Am i missing something?

Does... does no one here realize you can crouch over them? And if the survivor is holding crouch as they're unhooked or working on a gen they don't trigger?
They are also slow.. very slow. and the traps are still there ready for the hag who will be running at you. but sure.. you can crouch and lose the game anyway.

Even if that tweet is true, why just not let people buy whole sets and then unlock it for them so they can mix it at their own leisure? At least non licenced ones
This would require them to actually test each part with every possible combination costing more.

Do you also like not being able to pick up survivors because their heads are in the wall? Cause apparently the devs do. Also why tf do you like that? Why the hell do you like Claire and Leon having the same head twice and having to buy it twice because it's a linked set? Do you like fun?
Because we don't buy it lol.
The licensed sets were locked for legal reasons but the home brew sets are annoying.
If you don't like it then don't support it by purchasing it.
-
You would be shocked at how much a little information can change the game. Solo players are remarkably better if they ditch a SWF meta perk for bond or kindred so they won't pointlessly leave gens for a save or run the killer to nearly completed gens.
I have seen it happen and the games where I am not the only one using one of these are a breeze.
-
Only use the tentacle when you cannot get a hit. Other than that he is just an m1 killer that gives an extra life for the majority of the game.

Yeah, except most survivors will tell you "Bro, Gens are the only objective." yet expect you to ignore your objective and "be nice" by chasing the healthy survivor instead of the injured one who was saved in front of your face without BT.
I just watches a streamer/youtuber playing this game live as a 2 man and they were complaining about the killer proxy camping and slugging to create pressure. "why would you play like that? It isn't fun for anyone!" amongst other things.
The next game the killer doesn't camp at all and just runs from hook to hook and they did all 5 gens with 4 hooks and only died because they wanted to get saves for points and got bloodwardened.
Do you think the killer had fun in that game if bloodwarden didn't pay off?
-
Sick of being tunnelled and camped while killers are sick of the gens being done in 4 minutes.

yeah, and without dead hard, you get the same result but 4 seconds earlier. u read the 3 dead hard scenarios I mentioned? where only one of them is really strong?
I would love for them to instantly drop shack pallet but DH makes it so they don't need to. Even better when you outplay them and make them stuff up at the window but one press of a button and they make it to safety anyway.
The perk allows survivors to greed extra time out of already overpowered loops increasing the chance that you as a killer may make a mistake and reset the loop.
There is no point arguing though. The evidence is everywhere that this game is made for survivors because they shell out the most cash. The only times killers get qol updates is when their numbers drop too low as was admitted to by the devs in a livestream just before the Decisive strike nerf.

Why don't people just crouch over them. You don't trigger her traps if you do that just saying.
Most hags will periodically make eye contact with the person on the hook to catch anyone crawling like a snail to the rescue.

How do you harass hags running macros? Their is no response time involved and it's pretty much always a guaranteed insta-hit if you trigger their trap
I got hit so fast by a hag doing this that it didn't even play the animation. I knew where the trap was and touched the edge and i was hit before i could even take a step away.

Flashlight her traps, keep an eye on where she is trapping so you know where not to run, and start working on the gens she's trying to defend early. It is not a good thing to see a survivor early as a Hag. I need that time to set up my traps. I can't spend that time chasing them but i might have to especially if they see where my traps are and set them off while i'm trying to set up elsewhere. Plus even if it's a guaranteed hit, if i am trying to set up elsewhere, you set one trap off, i teleport and hit you, you run away. Now what. My web is broken, i got 1 hit which i can't capitalize on, and i'm not spending that valuable time setting up.
Yeah, just use this item that has limited charges and you also need randomly find or be lucky enough to be using that match. Good counter /s
Not everyone is low enough to use stretched rez so for normal people we can't see you for most of the match.
If all a survivor does is mess with your traps all game then they are literally throwing away a pip or even a safety pip for the other 3.
-
I got it randomly as a solo twice.

-
This is exactly why i want hatch removed. Sick of people entering hatch mode when there is 2 or even 3 survivors left with 1 or 2 gens to go.
I ran a killer for over 1 minute on haddonfield thanks to god window spawn and the other survivor was just sitting on the hatch the entire time.. then they crouch and point while i am on the hook expecting me to die fast so they get it.

I really want them to unlink those linked sets. At least for the original character, because I couldn't care less for the licensed characters. I really care a lot about how my characters look, it's incredibly important to me. Glitching outfits gave you the opportunity to create insane outfits. There were so many different things you could create, so much creativity. And now it's gone. I kind of understand why they don't want you to glitch their licensed characters, but their originals? It's just dumb, in my opinion.
For me. When I realised that they patched this, I had a hard time processing it. It was like, they removed so many possibilities. I only had 1 glitched outfit, and it was my favourite one. I spent 15£ on a Nea set, and I only wanted to change the shirt. Because the head and the pants look amazing. 15£ is quite a lot for me, and by patching the outfit glitch, I feel a bit robbed. I know I shouldn't because you weren't supposed to glitch those outfits in the first place. But really, why would they want to make cosmetics and outfits and not letting us use those to their fullest potential? It ridiculous, nothing can go wrong with unlinking the sets for the original characters. It would just make the community happier.
And once again, I don't care about the licensed characters. But unlink the originals linked sets. Please BHVR!
Why does this bother you? you literally said to bhvr linked sets are ok by purchasing them. Enjoy wearing your unmixable set.
-
Let survivors wipe away her traps when they crouch up to them.
Get rid of trapping under the hook
Done.
-
The simple answer is don't buy them.
-
You payed them for a linked set now you wear that linked set. you told them it is ok by purchasing it so live with it.

then press "W to outplay" rather than "M1 to fall for it"...
- if you get that one extra loop by pressing E then you really just got an additional 4 seconds of chase, which is not very much.
- if you consider "I failed but got saved by E" as a problem, check how often you can counter dead hard by just waiting and how less of value a single extra loop is and how often the "fail corrected" scenario actually is a thing compared to the weak dead hard scenarios
- escpecially compare that to "drop to outplay" or "vault to outplay" and how easy it is to get way more than 4 seconds of extended chases with these perks
That one extra loop leads to a pallet that in turn resets the chase and their stuff up.

Dead Hard has been in the game since 2017. You've had enough time to adapt, and you should always expect it. Why do you think every single good streamer goes "DeAd HaRd? DeAd HaRd?" before hitting a survivor for the first time?
Git gud sir.
They also go DeAd HaRd will save you... and then scoff or sigh when they see the E button get played.

VPN and playing with friends. Just to test the difference between servers I jumped around the 3 main ones as both killer and survivor, and just to make sure it wasn't my ping magically changing the way people play I throttled my AU connection.
NA West is full of campers and tunnelers that do it right form the start and usually lose, NA East is honestly the most "normal" place I've played in the sense that it's consistently in the middle, EU is wierd and gets way sweatier when it's not in the evening but not in the AU way (we rush gens, EU is more about chase skill and showing off).
It's not like this is something I do normally, I just got curious after playing with some of my international friends and decided to test. Turns out AU really does ######### suck.
Yay, someone else said it.

Why direct it at anyone at all, you either alienate the majorty of SWFs (the ones dicking around for funsies) or you accurately portray an incredibly small percentage of the player base who definitely aren't on the forums and wouldn't care about some random on the forums telling them they think they're good.
I find the "just for funsies" swf rather rare and encounter the spread out and gen jockey ones far more commonly with a boddy block thrown in here and there if their "friend" ran to a dead zone or our of pallets.

The fact that during the SBM test. it took me almost half an hour to a full HOUR just to get one match and an extra 5 minutes Just to get into the game to just barely 3k that game cause i had to tunnel off hook, AND Camp just to force a death hook,
That is not good game design. i want actual fun matches. not sweat matches 24/7 on my main
And poor Duddley and his band of randoms don't want to face your sweaty nurse. If you want to relax then play relaxed and let your mmr fall to that level.

I have no illusions about my skill as survivor. I just want to shoot the ######### with my SWF teammate. Is that so wrong?
And while you are doing that you are subconsciously saying things like "i found ruin near x" "my gen is almost finished near x" or some location like in a 3 gen. "i'm going to save you stay on gens". You know each others perks. you can coordinate blocks without even needing to think.
The game isn't built for it and the devs never balanced around it after implementing it.
-
So you are happy to keep the stats muddied with legit rank 20s in red ranks?
If they get clean data then they can fix the game. If they see gens are too fast when all survivors know what they are doing and the killer population is plummeting as a result, then we can assume they will change how the game works.
-
You would be shocked at how many profiles i have looked at that have 3k+ hours and don't even have the 100 kills achievement or even half way into the 1000 kills achievement

Those were dark times indeed. Especially if you used the new moon offering.
I still have moon offerings on my nurse :D Blendettes were insane during that time as maps were also naturally darker.
-
Depends what the killer does. If they chase you while you have victor then it is smart to hold him. If they go after someone else and you know they can loop and the other 2 are banging gens then yes.. hold him.
If it is solo q then don't hold victor. The problem is that victors respawn speed is way to fast. I have had games where 2 of us healed a downed survivor and it was always enough time to spawn vic and get bac to us to down them while charlote slowly crept closer.
-
Imo he is just above trickster and trapper. He is an m1 killer that gives a free health state to make use of his power with part of his power made dumb as rocks and slow as tar pitch so they are so situational it shocks you when they do something.
You know a killer is weak when the forums are silent about how "op" they are and people will happily run at you when playing.
I have the same feeling against him as survivor as i do when playing against trickster aswell. If he fakes his power at a loop you will get a free loop out of it. If he doesn't ready the power or readies it to late then you will get the pallet drop and avoid it.
-
I always spawn next to 3 or 4 other survivors, even before this update.
I will say that something has changed. 6 months ago spawns were way more reliable to predict as killer and there was usually 3 at the far gen and one really close to the killer.
Now the game can spawn all 4 next to you and you walk to the other side where they should be, causing you to auto lose the game because of it
P.S i hate typing on phones!

More often than after, I saw some clowns before his rework. Essentially none after his rework.
I guess most of them migrated to the forums.
Because the update was a net negative for him. they took away all the good addons and gave him a power that can literally be ignored because it almost does nothing.

But data now shows most games are a 4K for killer. Logically that would show survivors are not able to compete. You can say some are just bad but surely not all are. If they are, why is that?
Kill rates are a terrible way to balance of even judge the balance in this game.
The pip condition for survivors is achievable even without escaping. The pip system for killers is not achievable without killing survivors.
Escaping is just a bonus while kills are mandatory.
I have had so many games as killer or survivor where survivors do all gens with everyone alive and then throw it all away to save one guy instead of leaving.

Oh, dont worry, they will nerf Dead Hard at some point. And then you will reconsider your opinion if you want to verse Sprint Burst. Sprint Burst, unlike Dead Hard, makes every area safe, because you can actually gain distance and make it to a Pallet or Window, unlike Dead Hard, which is not useful in Deadzones.
And IMO it is more frustrating to approach a Gen, having the Survivor sitting on it as long as possible and making it to safety regardless due to Sprint Burst.
There is always the chance that they just used it to get to that gen.. unless they walk everywhere making them waste time, so win win.
-
Killers tend to go afk when you break their ruin totem in the first 16 seconds of the match.
-
If at minimum 2 gens are not done by the end of the first chase then the game is basically lost.

what delay it is literally 0.35 seconds lmao slinger already has 0.15 which is impossible to reach to unless you are some mega gamer now add desync to that and well it is impossible same with Nem plus he can just wait for a animation lock making it even more worthless to try and loop.
but I guess we enjoy holding W and doing gens only to counter killers
I have sub 20 ping so i actually feel that delay. Same with dead hard and survivors being able to use it on reaction against me. low ping = punished while high ping = rewarded... so backwards.
-
Sometimes it is good to leave a group of survivors who refuse to do gens. I had a 3 man swf who just wanted to use me as a point pinata and refused to do gens while i ran the killer for over 1 minute. The new hook mechanic is horrible in situations like that.
This being said it will be good when it is back.
