  • I don’t think there will be any shitstorm. We console players are used to BHVR treating us like second class customers.

I wonder how many people in this thread hating on BHVR will throw money at them as soon as the dlc releases? Probably most. As a consumer speak with your wallet it's truly the only thing business understands.

My plan originally was to buy a $50 or $100 Microsoft spacebux card and go crazy with the DLC and cosmetics but now I’m just gonna spend the $7 on the chapter and ######### the rest. I can grind for the two cosmetics I actually care about having. You snooze you lose, I bought Horizon 3 in the E3 sale instead.

  • If the unhook lag from last year and mass disconnection issues from the New Years event made it through MS certification I shudder to think what could have caused this to fail.

I'm honestly going to be done with dbd for a while if we don't get any news about consoles tomorrow.

    Tomorrow:

We’re still in the certification process.

Yeah the same with huntress people in Australia got her a whole day before everyone else

Yep the fact that Clown isn’t available yet in other countries tells me it’s not hitting the US Xbox marketplace tomorrow.

More than likely they've failed certification, hence the two to three week time estimate.

They said back on the 8th on twitter that it would only take a couple weeks..here we are 10 days in and nothing :/ its saddening and heartbreaking lol..I pretty much gave up every game I had because I fell so in love with this game..lol Wasn't until about 10 days ago I found my lost love BO3  bahahahahaha

To be fair they did say just “weeks”. Which could be two weeks, could be eleven weeks. I always assume the worst with BHVR.

  • I play both sides and no thanks. I’d purposely derank to avoid a game with instakill hooks lol.

Imagine how deadlier Nurse and BBQBilly would be if downing survivors meant they were dead.

  • Fred. Boring character, and most of them just seem to tunnel which makes it even more boring.

  • I wonder if the store pricing update on PC could also apply to consoles and make the patch take longer?
  • On Xbox it’s in most of my survivor matches even after reset back to ranks 15 or so.
  • I bought the game in June of last year and have played almost nothing else since. I have hundreds of hours as killer over this year span, but my favorite or most boner causing moment might have been just a week ago.

i was a survivor playing solo. We face this LF who is a hard camper. First guy hooked, camped until death. Second guy hooked, camped until dead. One gen left and I am about 80% done, third guy goes down. LF leaves him there, hoping to draw me out. I keep working on gen figuring the downed guy may have adrenaline. Dude starts crawling right to me. LF sees the direction he’s crawling, can see there’s a gen there, comes to me, downs me, hooks me. I fail to 4% and die, last guy is hooked and dies too. I check his perks, he DOES have adrenaline. So had he waited literally 30 seconds we’d have popped all gens and he’s have gotten back up with adrenaline.

So i message him asking why in the world he gave me away like that when he had adrenaline, he told me he had gotten enough points and wanted me dead so he could get into another match. I’m triggered greatly. I take a deep breath and switch to killer instead of relying on ######### randoms.

Who loads into my lobby? The same guy. Mr Asshat himself. I choose Doctor so I’ll know exactly where he is, find him, hook him. Wait for someone to unhook, down him, mori him. Glorious.
  • It’s already a mori you get just for hitting EW3. lol it doesn’t need a buff.
  • Pig
    Hag
    Fred
    Doctor
  • Ruin is S tier. Sure it can be knocked out quickly but it can slow gen progress to a crawl if the survivors refuse to fight through it, which most do. It’s rigjt there with BBQ in terms of perks imho, my killer builds do not feel complete without it.
  • When you get into the higher ranks on Xbox you start to see a smaller sample of people but from rank 20 to 8 or so there are tons of different people.

Rarely takes me longer than 5 seconds to get into a lobby.
  • Scratched Mirror Myers:

If you run Scratched Mirror, it is almost a MUST to run boyfriends memo & Monitor & Abuse (Doctors perk),

Hex: Ruin, Hex: Devour Hope, Make your choice are really fun for insta-downing rescuing survivors.
Map offering: The Game puzzle piece or lery’s Memorial institute.

Scratched mirror allows lows you to see ANY survivors aura who thin a 32 meter range.
You cannot progress past tier 1.
Monitor & abuse allows you to have a ZERO terror radius in tier 1.
    You are very slow
male your choice allows you to insta-down survivors OUTSIDE 32 meter range, so if you see someone running to unhook someone, back up until the hooked survivors aura is out of sight and take 1 more step back for good measure. Once they unhook strictly focus on following he rescuer/healer that unhooked the survivor and wait until they go around a corner to insta-down with no warnings of your presence.

**it is to be said that each of these perks are level 3, ensuring maximum benefits.

Have fun jumpscaring people, and try to grab unsuspecting survivors off gens, it helps a lot!

Just did this. Got a 4k and about 60k points. I ran the mirror, whatever makes your lungs longer in EW1, a token for The Game, Ruin, Devour, Choice, and BBQ for the points. I got to 2 Devour stacks then a totem was cleansed and I for some reason thought it was Devour, probably because it only lights up when active, so I glanced and saw it darkened out and assumed they destroyed it. So I didn’t play the rest of the match with Devour in mind.

It was only after I’d killed one and was hooking another that I realized I still had Devour. I got my third stack and then insta downed a guy and hooked him. On the way to the hook a Tapp (who still had Make Your Choice active on him so even without Devour, he was a one hit down) was being an idiot with the flashlight so I downed him too.

So I leave them hooked and run off to hide, giggling like a schoolgirl the whole way... only to have both of them quick die on the hook so the last survivor can go for hatch. I spotted her thanks to the mirror and dropped down right on her and downed her in one hit and hooked her.

Closest I have ever come to getting 5 Devour stacks. Your build was great fun though, the perks synchronize very well.

Nowhere atm, except in game reports.
Showing names on the forums is also forbidden (for some reasons) because it's against the rules for "naming and shaming".
Just a suggestion tho, I'm no mod.

There is a reddit page that someone made for posting the names of "scumbugs" for other ppl to see. I know they post names of steam/xbox/Ps4 users. There is also a xbox club that does the same thing.

lol what are the names of these? I just had 3 survivors and a killer who were friends team up and farm me on Xbox.
  • Blinding me while breaking stuff is my number one annoyance playing killer. It’s the quickest route to a hard hook patrol you can get with me.
  • I cleanse every totem I see, always try to make safe hook saves or at worst help heal the person unhooked if someone beats you to the unhook. Do gens, and try to escape. It’s pretty rare that I double pip but I almost always pip unless the killer tunnels/camps, or I just have a bad match where I don’t do much of anything. And I almost always solo queue and don’t run self care. If you do SWF the pips should roll in.
  • On a more serious note, I think the fact that they aren’t holding the anniversary double BP event until July should signal that they really expect this to take a long time to hit consoles. Would love to be wrong though.

Idk how every other dev does it so everything hits together yet BHVR can’t grasp this technology.
  • Give Doc a one hit down when someone is in madness 3 as well, I don’t get any more benefit from shocking them at that point.
  • If the Friday the 13th devs are better than you at putting out updates then you know you done goofed.
  • Is there any reference with past “big updates” for comparison? Hard to imagine it taking weeks.
  • I’ve had a reply. They are pc exclusives.

That can’t be true, devs said no more exclusive items. They’d never lie to or crap on console players.
  • Brady said:

Can't see it being on any Nintendo system given the DbD community and the nature of the game.

lol if it can get Skyrim and Doom then the nature of DbD should be fine. Unless you mean something other than content.

Technically its only a 5 player MP game, Switch can handle it fine.
  • Microsoft and Sony both have a same day patch certification option the devs can use. Apparently there’s “too much content” for 2.0 to use the same day option, which I highly doubt because other games have launched meaty updates using the same day certification.

So they could have put out a small patch to remove the cap and had it done using the one day option but this is BHVR, they don’t give a crap about their console players. Just think back to the New Year event and the utter horse crap Xbox players had to sit through just to play the game, and it was never so much as acknowledged by the devs.

They made a great game but the community side side of it has been garbage. I’m confused on your issue though, the shrine is still up for me? Can you not redeem shards for perks or bloodpoints?
  • Me either. It’s as if no one on Xbox bought the DLC.
  • Damn some wacky ######### just happened on Xbone with lobbies and I got excited thinking maybe there was an update :(
  • Looks like PC players have been.....

    Bamboozled.
  • The description says an extra shirt for the survivor, maybe that’s it?
  • Most annoying thing is probably when they flashlight at every single pallet. Triggers me from “I’m gonna hook you” to “I’m gonna hook you and hard patrol you” almost instantly.

Abusing every single pallet loop possible to where where I have to bloodlust to get them will trigger me also.
  • And we’ve had games where it took weeks, including this one.
  • There is no set duration for the certification process. It can take weeks, which is probably why they said in the coming weeks.
  • They said during after they got full control of the game that they'd be releasing across all platforms at the same time, so sometime today unless they're incompetent liars!

    Are you new to DbD?

These are are the people who released the patch with unhook lag. That released the New Year event even though it made Xbones disconnect like crazy. idk about the liar part but incompetent, yes.

That said, I’m not expecting the DLC for at least a week after PC. Would love to be wrong though and get it sooner.

If they create bloodpoint microtransactions i will straight up quit playing the game, uninstall and forget about it. Pay to win mechanics is the absolute scourge of multiplayer games and the last thing DBD needs is that type of cancer.

How is that pay to win? lol

All you get for leveling up characters is cosmetic clothing.
no you dont. you get perks and items, which affect game play. stop trolling.
Yeah, that doesn’t make it pay to win. You don’t get any advantage over people who play normally, especially since bloodwebs are all RNG.

Its not like I can take those bloodpoints and buy tier 3 DS or 30 ebony mori’s.

  • To quote Randy Moss, “straight cash homie”.
  • Xbox.
Dont really have a main, I have Billy, Doc, Myers, Trapper, Fred, LF, and Nurse P3. Trying to git gud with Nurse though, it’s tough on Xbox.

My go to perks are BBQ, Ruin, Nurses, and then others differ by killer. I love switching to Franklins if I see a lot of items in the lobby. And some killers are really good with NOED like Nurse, Trapper, Wraith, and sometimes you trick them by running it on guys who already have one hit downs like Billy or Myers.
  • Not the first time he’s been a douche nugget in his videos. I stopped watching his videos after he uploaded a SWF match where they bullied and teabagged the killer the entire game.

    You keep your current amount.

When 2.0.0 drop, the Iridescent Shard cap will be removed and the worth of the Iridescent Shards will be adjusted to fit the new Store system.

Thank you for the reply! Gonna keep my 1k Shards for now then and wait for the new system.

If you keep your current amount, but the worth is adjusted for the new store, wouldn’t it make more sense to blow through your shards and get bloodpoints before the update? It seems from the PTB that shards are a lot easier to come by.

I like all this salt from killer mains, who claim survivors are entitled by bringing up all these "rules" they made, but failed to mention killers do the same. Killers are like:

    • Don't bring a flashlight
    • If you flashlight save, you are getting camped, so never do it
    • Never pallet save
    • Don't use instant-healts
    • Don't use Self-care, Borrowed Time, Decisive Strike or Sprint Burst
    • Don't pallet loop
    • Don't 360
    • Don't rush gens

And more. Just so you know, I play both killer and survivor, but entitlement goes both ways. I suggest you take a good look in the mirror before starting to point at who you think is entitled. Survivors do not owe you anything either.

Toxicity exists on both sides and as long as everybody on one side does it, the other will as well. For every game where you tunnel, camp, etc there will be a game where all survivors run SB, DS, BT and SC, all with BNPs. Simply put, two can play the toxic game, neither side is entitled to anything.

I think the main difference between most of the stuff listed here and stuff entitled survivors whine about is that your list is full of core issues with the game. Perks like self care, DS, and SB are legit issues in the game. marth’s experiment also proved if you play efficiently as survivor, the game runs way too fast for killers to do anything about it. And devs have been addressing pallets and looping lately, they’re obviously core gameplay issues as well.

Compare that to the long list of crap entitled survivors complain about, it’s not a valid comparison. Yeah, some killers get butt hurt about stupid stuff. Hell, I have a video and picture saved from last week where I literally spawn standing in front of a hex totem on The Game and I cleanse it right as Huntress comes near, she face camped me the entire time on the hook and then told me it wa s because I cleansed his totem.

But the amount of stupidity on each side far outweighs the natural imbalance you should have considering there are four survivors and one killer.

Parts of your list are just common sense, too. “Flashlight save and you’re getting camped”. Well, doesn’t it make sense to get the flashlight save person out of the game? “Loop me and I’ll camp you”. That’s just strategy. Or should a killer let that person get unhooked and have to chase them
down again? You’re confusing entitlement with tactics.

I love playing both sides. But there’s no doubt a significant chunk of survivor mains in this game are delusional. lol I was just watching a stream and a guy went up against a face camping LF... instead of punishing him by gen rushing, they stand there trying to get saves. He saves the guy on hook but gets downed. Gets unhooked in struggle phase, downed, quits out of game. He gets no points, screws his teammates, rewards killer. After the match he sends killer salty message about the game when a little common sense would have spared him.
  • Wolf74 said:

Survivor came up with some weird "code of conduct" how killer should play.

    -Don't camp
    -Don't tunnel
    -Let the last one escape
    -Respect kobe (4%)
    -Don't use Noed
    -Don't use Insidious
    -Don't use the basement

Nowadays they are just social tools to use peer pressure to shame killer player into playing stupid and giving easy wins.

    Also don’t use Franklins
    And don’t patrol gens
Hey don’t protect your hex totems
Why aren’t my flashlights working? Oh you’re using Lightborn, how dare you!

Hell, I’ve had survivors complain that I pick them up facing walls so their friends can’t blind me lol.
  • Absolutely nothing.

What they knew we wanted: literally any info on a release date. There’s a big E3 sale going on right now, it sure would be nice to know if we should maybe save some money because a new update and store are coming.

What we got instead: hey here’s some models for The Clown and some perks that sound pretty good but we put in Spies and Hope instead.
  • 1. Good Nurse
    2. Billy
    3. Good Huntress
    4. Myers
    5. Doc
    6. Hag
    7. Leather Face
    8. Trapper
    9. Pig
    10. Average Huntress
    11. Wraith
    12. Fred
    13. Average Nurse

To me there is such a wide gap between killers who use Nurse/Huntress and know what they are doing versus those who don’t, that they require separate rankings. Yeah, a good Nurse is the scariest killer there is. But most of them are not good.

I didn’t play enough PTB to get a solid rank for Bozo.
