  • Well, I'll be honest with you. If I'm killing myself on hook, its because I've got very good reason to. The intent is never to punish the killer, because it does nothing for them or very little. Its to punish the teammates you're paired with.

If I'm the guy who led the killer on a 3 minute chase, did 2 gens and 2 hexes, and I get hooked. Only to see 3 mates stealthing/running around, not doing gens, dive bombing and speeding up killer's sacrifices, why would I want to reward them with my help? It may be a dick move, but when you're the only one doing something right and you got 3 bozos on your team doing everything wrong, why would you stay? I don't need a 'free tutorial', I can learn more on a team of good survivors/teammates than I can on a bad team. I'd rather leave, get into a new match with hopefully better teammates/players and move on as fast as possible.

This isn't something too common, but know when you're the killer and you see a survivor kill themselves, there MAY be good reason for it.

I'm not on a 4 person team to carry the other 3, and I also don't want them getting rewarded for a 'carry' when they didn't do jack all, the entire match leading up to that point. Of course there are people who are just salty or kill themselves based on the killer they're facing but personally, when I rarely ever do it, its because of my teammate quality and the stupidest things they do. I'm not here to hold your hand and bring you to the EG, if you don't want to contribute and put in effort to help your team get there altogether, then don't be surprised if the person says 'screw this, I'm outta here'.

  • Yes I believe the new MMR system is coming with all the other updates.

    edit: Damn it.

Gotcha, then I'll also call the people who complain about DS and get pissed off because of it lazy, dumb, and entitled because when I play in red ranks I never have an issue with it and I can easily avoid it. If I can avoid it, everyone else can too and they shouldn't have a problem because I said so and my experience superimposes everyone else's.

DS is abuseable. Thats why its getting nerfed. The only ones who are complaining about this nerf are bad survivors who relied on it as a crutch and abused it. Not even in the same ball park as destroying dull totems in preparation for NOED. If you want to focus gens and dive bombing your teammates for easy points, you do that. But if you get to end-game and NOED pops up, you have no one to blame but yourself as well as your teammates.

Hell, there's been plenty of games where NOED has popped on my team, while 1 person gets hooked, and the 3 of us remaining go back in despite being right at the Exit gates, to find the totem and possibly save the teammate.

Doing dull totems throughout an entire match vs complaining about DS, a broken perk that people loved to abuse, particularly in SWF, are not the same.

  • Adrenaline, Fixated, Sprint Burst, Deception

Inner Strength, Head On, Quick & Quiet, Fixated

Meta perks (if you want to be a low skill but high reward player):

DS, BT, DH, SG (this build will hold you back from improving overall)

There's many builds man, but there's 3 off the top of my head. Just gotta experiment and find out what fits your playstyle the most and fine tune it. I would personally avoid DS and DH, they are extreme crutches and against great killer mains, they get nullified. Good luck.

  • Damn this title is ironic.

No dude, the people who refuse to do totems and complain about NOED are lazy & dumb. I'm a solo survivor main and if I can find the time to focus hexes/dull totems, you can too. You're either entitled af, lazy or dumb. Take your pick. Do the totems and then you won't have to worry as much, at least you'll know you did what you could to nullify NOED.

At lower ranks, yea I'd say its a lot harder to counter NOED. At high ranks (red), you have no excuse.

  • I took a screenshot in-game just so I could remember the better days.

    Gone forever. RIP.

  • @WheresTheGate said:

As a survivor main I often feel like other survivors are a bigger detriment to escaping than the killer.

They are. Too many dive bomb for the points and kill themselves as well as their teammates. And then the 1 guy who was actually working on gens, destroying the hexes, etc is left to either just get into a chase and grab some extra points if not enough gens were done, or look for the hatch and hope they get to it before the killer does.

The 3 depip and you (being the guy who actually tried to get objectives done) either depips as well or barely manages to get a neutral score. Its a lose/lose situation for the most part. Lots of bad survivors even in red ranks play like this. Its really odd.

  • The problem is that even high ranks have a tendency to play horribly/like grey ranks.

I just had a match where 2 Jake players essentially got themselves killed as well as the other David who was in chases most of the match. While I did 4 gens, got 2 safe unhooks, etc. Dive bomb after dive bomb, messing up gens vs a Huntress, running around the killer while in a chase, running around hooked survivor while in a chase, and more.

For the most part, the matches are okay. But I've also had times where I'd que up and have 3 matches in a row all with rainbow ranked teammates, people who dive bomb and kill their mates, mess up gens, are doing nothing but stealthing around, etc.

Today's been...decent..so far. Can't say things are too bad at least for today since I've experienced much worse.

  • Matchmaking has been awful to me too today as well. If that makes you feel any better, you are not alone my friend.

I just waited like 7 minutes for this match. Literal rank 17 teammates who were dead within like 3 minutes.

Then I got out with my left behind key, which is exactly why I run it.

I just had a match pretty much similar to yours. Vs Ghostface. I did the only 2 gens possible and in that time, 2 of my mates died b/c they sucked in chases/everyone was dive bombing. 3rd one was left slugged so the killer could find me. Could not find me so hooked them. Player didn't struggle and died, and killer found me right as the hatch luckily spawned on me and I was able to get out.

Get to end game lobby, teammates were a 9, 17 and 13. My rank is 1. I shouldn't match up with these people but I do.

    Hate the matchmaking system.

hopefully the DS change is fake. To many toxic tunneling killers. Let us work on gens with DS and we have a deal with the nerf

Its real and the only ones who have a problem with it are survivor mains who relied on it as a crutch and abused it. & thats coming from a survivor main. Learn to play without it.

  • Usually b/c of killer things like tunneling

Or teammates being absolutely brain dead

Ex. teammate drops god pallet in shack when gen hasnt even been completed, being hooked and seeing 3 teammates doing no gens and 2 of them running towards you for the unhook points, teammates that do absolutely nothing but dive bomb and kill their own team, etc.

I once confronted a survivor at red ranks who was a ttv and his reasoning for d/cing was b/c I stole a chest from him and that was reason enough, lol.

  • Hexy is one of my favorite killer mains. Chill guy, outplays survivors who run UB, DH, DS, etc. Guy hasn't lost a match since Jan 1st. Very solid and smart player, doesn't tunnel or camp. Definitely recommend.

Angrypug is the survivor main I tune into, although he's very good, he's also extremely toxic and talks a lot of crap daily to people that come into his chat and try to rile him up/insult him. His gameplay is really fun to watch though.

  • I don't really keep track but one in particular still stands out. Was against Pyramid Head. He decided to chase the Dwight, who outran the hell out of him. He only caught Dwight after we got down to 1 Gen, hooked him. Upon unhooking him, we found out killer was just proxy camping and came immediately back, only to get on the injured Dwight again. Clearly he was mad and wanted Dwight dead. So the chase began again, and every time he was about to catch Dwight, one of us other survivors would come and intercept the swing, taking a hit and slowing the killer down so Dwight could gain more distance. We'd heal up and repeat. Eventually Dwight got away and I healed him up while Killer was forced to go on some one else.

Did the remaining gen, only downside was killer caught 1 of the other 2 teammates, we tried to save them but turned out that the person hooked was the only one with BT, and killer was just waiting to get the double tap upon unhook and immediately down the unhooked player again. It was basically useless. So we had to get out and we barely got the EG powered in time, as PH came towards us & forced us out.

The guy w/ BT was forced to die on hook so that was -1

The Feng Min that really didnt do much all game besides gen rush (she didnt help the Dwight out at all) was injured from trying to go for a save on the BT hooked teammate, and she was caught as she was running to the EG.

So me and Dwight got out, it felt really good since we were all solo players. Only downside was we lost the guy on hook b/c he did his best to help Dwight just like I did.

But we rubbed it in the PH's face at the end for sure. Cause it was just pathetic. We even stood in front of PH in between him and Dwight and he'd just go right by us, full tunnel vision on Dwight. He musta really hated Dwight players or something, lol.

  • @golubushka08 said:

At least don't nerf the DS. It's an ocasional perk, it's not used always. And I don't want to lose 1 minute doing nothing just because I used this perk to save me from tunelers and campers. This perk is for those killers who don't know how to play this game and only tunnel someone. If a killer doesn't tunnel this perk don't activate. It's not my fault that the killer plays toxic. I'm not supposed to lose 1 minute for their toxic play.

Bad survivor player if you're defending and against this nerf. Its justified. There are many builds you can run that are still great. Unless you're one of those survivors who relied on it as a crutch. This isn't an airport, no one cares about your departure. But have a good one pal. :)

  • Meg is in a tier of her own, honestly lol.

  • You're missing BT. People hate BT. Swap out Kindred for it and you're golden. But yea, pretty close.

  • I mean..you answered your own question.

  • Yea they've already stated that regardless of how much negative feedback it gets/how many people dislike it, its still coming. They simply do not care, they do not listen. Until another game comes along as competition, they will continue with this mindset.

  • @UrbanEvasionuser said:

Maybe their gonna have new outfits for The Twins or bring back the shirts for Nea, Feng, and Meg

According to leaks, we'll be getting Zarina head skin, Wraith weapon skin, and Adam Francis torso skin.

  • What rank are you playing at/your teammates? What region are you in? At red rank, its pretty rare for my teammates to leave me to die on first hook. Most of the time I am saved.

    Ok....

So tonight marks the FOURTH night in a row where i sat in a queue as survivor for over 20 minutes and STILL no match. Whats going on here BHVR? Am i the only one facing these queue issues? I play killer and i INSTANTLY get a game i try survivor and...... NOTHING. I'm getting pretty bored with this game as i am forced to simply play one side because i am stretched for time at night as i do work a full time job. All i want to do is enjoy both sides of the game and these queues are preventing that from happening.

Please tell me if i am the only one or if any of you are facing the same issues on American Servers.

I'm NA East and I've never had to wait for 20m or more. My average ques are 3-7m I would say. Which is fine to me.

  • @Blueberry said:

    Here's a couple big tips:

You should be getting a hit or a pallet in <15 seconds. If you took longer you are misplaying. After that hit or pallet drop chase and rotate to another survivor, rinse/repeat. Make an exception if after that hit or pallet they position badly for another hit/pallet, but that is generally the rule you want to go by.

You aren't beating good survivors without slugging, camping, or tunneling to some degree. I choose slugging as most do since it's the most fun for the survivors out of the options. You literally do not have time to take turns hooking each survivor one at a time. Just the time you spend in pick up animation and hooking one person is half an entire gen you lost...let that sink in.

These 2 tips will take you far.

That first tip is the big one. Rotate and don't focus on 1 survivor for too long unless they make a very dumb mistake and you can capitalize. The idea is to make every survivor uncomfortable/risk doing gens versus getting healed up. I'd also recommend watching a few amazing killer mains on Twitch, like Hexy or Otz. Both are exceptional and play every killer very well.

If you are on 1 person for too long (even though you don't think its a long time), you'll often realize by the time you caught and downed someone that 2 gens have already been completed. At that point already, you are behind in pressure/progress.

Aside from perks, this is probably the biggest advice. And in terms of perks, I see a few people recommending CI, pop, Ruin etc. But 1 of the most underrated perks (that has uptime the entire match) is Tinkerer. It is insanely strong and used quite often by the very good killers.

    Good luck.

  • Yup I got Deception 1 thinking I'd see it in the next web. Nope. Its been over 10 webs and yet to see rank 2. Awful system indeed.

  • I've actually never seen that tweet, I don't follow Twitter as much as I used to. But its a good point regardless. Damn Shannon though, typical lol. Just another Karen.

  • Imagine getting upset over this. This is the internet. Considering all the insults I've heard/been thrown at me, that is nothing. Stop trying to make a big deal out of the smallest of things. If you got a problem with toxicity to the point you make a post about something this dumb, you can always mute end-game chat.

  • World of Warcraft Classic. Still play it a lot, but its between that and DBD for me.

Some really great games on the horizon though - Dying Light 2, Back 4 Blood, Resident Evil Village, etc.

  • I mean an example is the new HUD. They know majority of the playerbase does not want it, like it, care for it.

But they said regardless of how many people don't like it, it IS happening and coming.

So yea, they don't give a single F.

  • This is probably the wildest and most extreme hacking I've seen. This happened JUST the other week and I watched it live. Was hilarious but also shows you how bad it really can be. While Devs do nothing.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bfYX7trBzuY

  • Lol what the hell, it actually works.

    Thanks man!

  • Dev priority/lack of updates/lack of balancing/ listening to bad survivors and killers for nerfs, etc. Its what hurts the community the most and drives people away from this game.

  • If you play more survivor than killer, Cheryl. Especially knowing Undying is being nerfed.

If you already got a build in mind for SG, then even more reason. Between the two, I'd def go with SG.

  • Why do people feel like they have announce their departure from the game on here? This isn't a damn airport, lol.

    Peace though :)

"Stop dive bombing hooks, stop trying to be a hero, make the most use out of the time people have been on hook" This is not an easy thing to know unless you're running a bunch of aura perks. Too many times have I tried to 'make use' of the time the surv is on the hook, only to have the one most logically suited to get the save end up in a chase and now I have to race to keep the second hook state from happening ( you know that thing a lot of survs complain about).

"Esp if you know the Bubba/killer is proxy camping" Yeah you can't always know that until it's sadly too late. Don't blame your teammates for having less experience with a particular killer than you may have.

"You're playing right into the killer's game plan. I know solo que is rough but damn." Not everyone is running the appropriate aura perks, etc.

I get your frustration, I really do. But SoloQ is a mess because survs don't have information to let them know things that might be going until they get close enough which can be disastrous.

The new UI will probably make it worse in the short term

Oh I know, I'm pretty much a solo que player with the rare exception if my 2 friends who aren't great at the game logon and play, but they haven't been on in months. I just find solo que more rewarding. The downside is its also more frustrating like everyone knows, lol. I can usually deal, but like I said, tonight has just been very evident.

I have no problem if you want to run Kindred, Bond, DHaunch, etc. But I also don't use those and don't think its that hard to read situations. If a teammate gets hooked, then another teammate unhooks and both of them go down immediately, my mind says 'proxy camper/camper', and priority should be on gens, at least for the 40-50 seconds they get put on hook. You have time to save them, but going for immediate unhooks, especially unsafe hooks just leads you to hurting your team and snowballing the game in the killer's favor even more.

But a lot of people just don't play smart, and it sucks in those games where you either are extremely behind in generator progress or ahead, and then 2 teammates throw the game in the killer's direction and the tide quickly turns or snowballs even harder.

I just had a match where I played against a r13 Twins killer. All 3 of my teammates went down together, pretty much one on top of another. I did the only 2 gens, got my altruism maxed by waiting for the killer to pick up another survivor so I could go and save the one thats hooked, safely. They still died early, and again I was left by myself. These matches just suck, no other way to cut it. :/

Only good thing that came from that match was that I didn't depip.

I think I'll consider turning off cross play for a bit since this is happening mainly when all 3 of my mates are console. Just going to be in que longer but oh well.

  • @crixus006 said:

Survivors, you will no longer have undying, pop has 45 seconds. Tanato lets you heal. Will u come back to ask noed? There is no morí on the second hook. Freddy will be nerfed, billy is rubbish. I think the next perk to nerf will be undying + devouring. Or ruin. What do u think?

I personally haven't asked for a single nerf. I think Undying + Ruin was fine, it just required a good team or players who would prio the totems. There's only 5 totems per match anyways. If anything, I'd like Ruin to go back to its old state.

I have no problem with NOED, again its a hex and it can be countered by doing totems.

I think Tinkerer is one of the stronger/strongest perks to run as a killer since it has use during the entire match, but not many killers use it.

Honestly, nothing comes to mind right now as to what to nerf. I don't really get mad at killer perks. My teammates however, lol.

  • @SocialDistomancy said:

dang the reds and blueballed ranks are doing this every other game too? definitely not worth sitting through the queues in this game any more lol.

Yea its pretty frequent. I notice it a decent amount but like I said tonight's been a lot worse. The match with Bubba, 1 was a rank 4, the other 2 were rank 5 and 7 (maybe they were SWF and thats why they played so much around the killer and wanting to save each other). They were also console players but I've played with console players that were amazing as well.

IDK man, its just frustrating when you do so much of the work and team doesn't really pay attention to what the killer is doing so they all end up with unsafe unhooks, getting themselves hooked, and then ultimately dying early.

Possibly. He also complains about the D/C penalty and is not a fan of it. I wonder why, huh.

  • @GannTM said:

I get survivors that do that when I play killer. It’s so annoying because a 3v1 is so easy to win no matter which killer I play. People that do that are the reason kill rates are so high.

There's a popular streamer who survivor mains and does that a lot. When called out for it/screwing over his teammates, his defense is 'well no one is forcing them to stay in there' like ???

So yea, there's lots of people who are selfish/don't give a crap about the match, if they want to leave over stupid things, they will. It sucks but nothing you can do.

  • Stealth survivors are the worst. Nothing more infuriating than doing 2 gens (the only gens completed), getting into a chase, then getting hooked only to realize 2-3 of your mates are either just running around or crouch walking.

I hope they all stay at rank 10-20. Awful players.

  • @Aztreonam78 said:

    Devs' priorities.

I still don't get why developers decided that we need Discordance nerf QoL change more than NOED rework or Decisive adjustments.

I don't understand why changing the Gideon, Autohaven, Macmillan maps is higher priority than improving the state of Haddonfield, Red Forest, Farm maps.

Also, something is wrong with developers' consistency in their decisions. They said that they aim to create perks or change already existing ones in the way that the perk tiers have no significant changes between each other. For instance, BETTER TOGETHER's perk tiers (Nancy's perk) have very minor difference.

At the same time, they are going to release a Patch where BORROWED TIME timers are 10/12/15 seconds on 1/2/3 levels. The lower tiers of the perk are very significantly weaker than the 3rd level.

The same as you, the priorities. They care more about $$$ and making garbage cosmetics rather than fix the real issues of the game (b/c either their dev team cannot or its too hard/they are lazy).

I mean there are bugs in this game still that have been around for 3+ months. Its awful. No one should be defending them. There are no valid reasons to defend the Dev team. They promise things, they change things no one asks for (like the new HUD) while leaving bugs rampant, hackers able to do the wildest things, etc.

The balancing/patches in this game are a damn joke. They should be hella happy no other game competes with them in this genre. Cause if there was, they'd be absolutely screwed.

Id love to see your gameplay.

See heres the thing, i dont WANT to only play DBD. Believe it or not there is a wide world of games out there, and for the 10 hours a week i get to play i like spreading my time.

Stop trying to move goal posts b/c your ego is fragile.

    1) I've been consistently between rank 1-2 (depending on the matches of course) but rank doesn't really mean much nowadays since most SWF just boost themselves to the red ranks. I solo que entirely.

    2) If you aren't willing to improve without Undying + Ruin, thats ENTIRELY on you. If you want the easy route every time and to rely on your hexes, go for it. I am not surprised by your post and your defensive posts.

    3) You are full of excuses, you have a reply for everything someone throws at you. How about you accept that you're not a good killer?

    4) If you're going to use the 'I got 10 hours to play a week' why are you even complaining in the first place? Just quit/uninstall the game. Why wait for the nerf, if that's really how you feel? If you're not willing to get better without your crutch perks and improve overall, then why did you even make this thread? Since time is such a huge issue and you can be playing other games, go play those other games. Why even make this thread if you're just going to be ignorant. You know people are going to come at you for your ignorant and childish temper tantrum.

..So really, what is your logic?

Yea go watch players whose job it is to play this game 6+ hours a day for the last 4 years and try to compare myself to them lol

Believe it or not... we’re not all streamers and dont all live with out mothers with nothing to do but play video games and sleep.

Great excuse, saw this one coming. How about you get better at the game? Just like how Nurse requires tons of practice, Twins requires practice, Spirit, etc. How about you find time to practice w/o Undying + Ruin (IF its such a big deal to you) and get better? You don't have to dedicate 6 hours a day to get better, but most people who log on can play for 1hr-2hrs on average IMO. I work full time and still find time to improve in this game. Your excuse is stupid.

@TheeclumsyNinja I already said I don't use any of those perks (including BT) and still think you're bad if you complain about all of this. Get better at the game to the point you don't need these perks - this goes for both survivors and killers.

Agreed as I've said before I might actually run I'm dying now so that I can play with Lullaby. I know it's not super strong but it's just a funny perk to me. And devour hope is always really awesome if you can get it to power up it's just really hard in its current state to pull off.

I mean, plenty of good players have said this before. Good survivors will get on those totems, only 5 spawn per match, all in pretty familiar/well known spots (albeit indoor matches are a bit tougher but regardless). They will get hammered out fast by a good team/good players. I have never complained about Undying or Ruin (I even would go as far to say I'd want Ruin to go back to its old state) but it is what it is. Actually happy the bad killers will be leaving/quitting.

  • @chargernick85 said:

Exactly ruin undying, tinkerer, surveillance combo is the equivalent 2 survivors who need to run spine chill, dead hard, ds/ub/sg together, or just Sprint burst away anytime they hear a terror radius you're just not as good as you think you are if you're relying on those crutch perks.

I think OP should go watch some killer mains like Hexy (who doesnt run Undying, and who hasnt lost a game since Jan 1st) or Otz. Both really smart players, both don't even touch Undying anymore, hell Otz usually runs 3 perks instead of 4 and none of them being Ruin/Undying. Comes out with 3k/4ks regardless. & yea, I don't even touch those survivor perks. I don't remember the last time I ran DS/UB/SG/DH/SC.

All this is, is a temper tantrum. I don't see this as a legit complaint, if you are actually going to leave because your favorite crutch perks you relied on thus far are getting nerfed and you don't know how to play w/o them, then so be it.

  • @TheeclumsyNinja said:

I get that at low ranks its strong, but ranks 1-3 its simply a way to help you get some trackion.

I as a killer do not wanna sweat 2/3 matches against good swf with all their op perks completely untouched for years when the killer finally gets something to help early game at red ranks and its nerfed within 3 months.

The devs say they want something to help with early game... well you had it but all the bad survivors complained so you nerfed it into the ground immediately.

If they complain about something as simple as doing totems what the hekk are you ever gonna be able to do to help early game lol

Devs need to get a back bone, stop babying bad survivors and force them to learn how to loop in a chase.

Meh, no loss here. Not like it'll be bad, it just won't be as strong post nerf. There's plenty of good killer mains who don't rely on it and use it every game, while still getting 3k/4ks right now. If you can't play w/o it/when its nerfed, just makes me think you were never really a good Killer player. SWF or not. Just a dumb excuse. Have a good one mate.

This is my first week back on DBD and I must say, I completely regret reinstalling. I’m already at red ranks and I don’t understand how most of you are in these ranks too?

From what I’ve seen, most of you don’t do anything. Most of you don’t do gens. Most of you don’t cleanse totems. Most of you don’t go for saves, but when you do, the killer is right behind you and you don’t have Borrowed Time. Most of you go down quickly in a chase. Most of you lead the killer right to me.

This entire week, over half the games I’ve played have been terrible. The first gen is not popped until after the first 2-3 mins. The only times they pop sooner is when I’m working on them. And by then, the killer already injured most of my team and gotten a hook or two! I go all game doing everything and avoiding the killer. I risk going for the saves, make sure you’re all healed up, go back to the gen, rinse and repeat. And what do I get in return?

Death on the first hook. No one bothers saving me. No one bothers working on gens even though the killer chased me for over two minutes. And if we somehow do all of the gens, I’m the one to go down to NOED. Even though, I haven’t been hit all game! But you know, you all deserve the escape. You’re the ones who deserve hatch.

Obviously, this doesn’t apply to ALL survivor mains. I’m just so frustrated at the high levels of incompetence I’m seeing at the higher ranks. It can’t just be me right?

A lot of them are SWF and don't actually deserve their ranks. Not to mention its way too easy for people to rank up in this game, you can do very little and still pip. I've noticed a lot of red ranks are very very bad as well, like you said. IDK. I'm hopin the MMR system actually helps.

Solo Q, did 2 gens, 1 gen left I was on last hook and injured, other 2 teamates were nowhere to be found(hiding in locker) and then they used key escape, of course I was ######### cause I was on other side of the map only found that out when I got knocked down and see one of them Tbagging aura before she jumped in the hatch aswell.... whats the ######### point of playing survivor solo? with a good team even a good killer will lose 90% of the time, with a bad killer even a decent survivor will die 98% of the time when solo Q'ing I'm so ######### tired of toxic SWF teamates... actually more pissed when they my teamates, when I'm killer at least I can hook them but as a teamate I can only watch and cry

    Killer was rank 3 I'm rank 7 survivors rank 8 2 and 4 if I remember correctly.

I was mainly doing cause really bored playing killer lately, like seriously bored, but every time, every ######### time I play survivor I get paired with apsolutely worthless shitheads that think the main objective is to be toxic.

Honestly doesnt seem much point in playing this game as a solo player, killer is boring since its rarely a good match, usually people that are average and cant loop for longer than 10seconds, or apsolute god loopers abusing 10 pallet/window spawn location in a small area with 3 teamates all DS unbreakable and brand new parts all ready to take hits... and survivor well I wrote my rage point above, there is literaly 0% reason to play solo survivor unless something is seriously wrong with that person.

Solo que is hella fun. Just not for you.

  • Sorry but that is just an awful take. Like the first reply said, are survivors just supposed to run from you with Victor on their back and not have the possibility to keep distance? Because your speed will out do theirs. Their only answer is to vault or drop pallets. Like ??? What.

Right now Matchmaking itself is based around ranks, it's completely irrespective of hours played....that's often why matches feel unbalanced imo because there's such a range of skill at this level as it's not difficult to reach red ranks.

We're shortly reintroducing MMR which will be more of a skill based matchmaking system which should eliminate these frustrations and create more balanced matches for players.

I'd say its based upon anything but ranks. My last 4 games have all featured players from green, purple and grey ranks. I got screenshots to prove it but I don't think I have to since many other people are experiencing the 'taste the rainbow' matchmaking system as well. Its awful, and something is definitely being factored in besides ranks.

  • ..Thats not long at all. You're just hella impatient. Yes killer que takes less b/c there are less people playing it, versus filling 4 survivors per match.

Go que up other games and you'll know this. OW Comp mode takes a good 3-7m on average, LoL takes 3-6m, WoW BGs take 5-10m, WoW arenas take 2-5m (depending on your rating). When it gets to 10 minutes+ consistently, I'll say you have a good point.
