My favorite skin for trapper would be the krampus trapper. I honestly love playing basement trapper as krampus. I also love the add-on buffs that trapper got. Like the makeshift wrap for example.
The add-on allows the trapper to walk on his trap without being stun but closes the trap. I honestly think that add-on is my favorite one. Also having to carry two traps is so much better.
In my opinion trapper is fun again to play as. Last few games I had I kept getting 4ks quickly. I can't wait to get my claws into the artist.
Those meanie surv during the year t bagging the killers at exit gonna get their coal in form of basement Trapper.

Pop goes the weasel
Scourge hook: pain resonance
Corrutped intervention
Deadlock
Match start, can't get a gen done in the first 25 seconds, find and get someone, hook them, 15% lost, know which gen has the most progress, pop it, 40% gone, gen get completed, blocked second most progressed gen, still lose 15% from pain resonance while blocked, pop it afterwards, over and over again.
If you play your cards right it might be the best anti genrush build.
Scourge hook: pain resonance is my new favorite perk and is aboslutely a meta perk
Thank you behavior for actually adding a new meta perk, yes you still need to be lucky with hooks location but still, this is a super good perk.
Devs: We noticed wee bit OP synergy of some slowdown perks so we have ajusted them.
Pain resonance:Now reduce regression to 3% but surv get incapacitated 7 secs :D
Pop goes the weasel: We noticed this perk is highly used but killers complains that they cant use it so we have changed it to:
10% gen regression but now have tokens each time u kick a gen consumes a token.
Corrupt intervention: This perk was quite a dilemma as surv can simply hide and wait the timer to finish.
Now Corrupt intervention last 1 min all surv not touching a gen after 30 secs gets aura revealed for 30 secs
Yw for the new changes leak guys 🤣

I think I need to clean my glasses. First I read that as "quitting because of Boomers", which I doubt there's a ton of Boomers playing DbD but who knows? 🤷♂️ Then I thought it was "quitting because of Boners", which I could understand but didn't want to picture.
Now it makes more sense.

This game needs SWF removed from public matches- that’s what it needs. Then killers wouldn’t have to be nerfed because they’re OP for solo’s but just viable for SWF’s.
Or just add comms SWF will be happy some solos would be happy killers would be happy to be boosted and only a few solo players would be sad

@EntitySpawn said:
So this is a discussion, and yes it is possible. I shall explain low and high skill for each role and then explain the changes. Its gonna be long, changes at bottom.
Low skill survivor: doesnt massively understand loops, would not run them efficiently and can quite often just wait at a pallet or drop the pallet quickly without really using the tile. Cannot link tiles, does not understand every counter to killers, dont tend to keep track of killer perks and what they can use. Not efficient on gens.
High skill survivor: understands tiles, will use the whole tile for a decent period before using a pallet, can chain tiles together, will understand killer counters and limitations, efficient on gens and knows the killer perks through elimination. Knows when to loop or hold forwards. Knows points of loops to stand at removing mindgames
Low level killer: not the most observant, doesnt usually juggle survivors, doesn't know what loops a survivor is running too, doesnt know the best way to loop, often wont mindgame, haven't mastered the killer, doesnt know which pallets have to be broken or can be played around. Usually dont drop chases.
High level killer: aware of tiles spawned, know when to drop chase, can juggle, tracks survivors around the map, understands speeds of actions, mastered the killer, knows which pallets are unsafe, knows the best way to push a survivor on a tile, will track deadzones
So, basically the biggest difference is the chase and understanding of loops with gen efficiency for survivor. And for killer multi tasking, game knowledge on who to chase where with the killer they're playing.
The changes:
-map size, because some maps are so big it stops the ability to juggle survivors and cause pressure while the survivors can optimally work on gens. So shrinking the map would help the high level without impacting the lower end, this is because the killers less likely to juggle or cause pressure meaning the survivors will still be safe enough to work on gens.
-tiles, some tiles are too safe. The main ones I would argue are jungle gyms and the killer shack. Good survivors know how to run these wasting huge time not to mention knowing places to stand to be safe. The FIX? Reduce the width of the tiles, for the JUNGLE GYMS reduce the distance between the pallet and window (like the one on the game map) this creates less safe spots and more chance to mindgame. as for KILLER SHACK, reduce the distance from the door (one without the pallet) and the window, this gives more room to mindgame and less safe places to stand. These changes wont affect the low level, as these survivors often dont maximize the loop or know the safe places to stand changing them wont be as impactful, theres still a pallet and window for them to use against a killer who isnt going to be the most knowledgeable.
Sorry for the long read. In short, shrink the size of some tiles and shrink the larger maps (redforrest).
What are your opinion?
Becuz both sides have to learn how to play so low tier people becomes high tier players.
By being the mommy and spoon feeding sides you will get babies.

Extremely unhealthy design. Rewards failure as its activation requirement is getting hit and promotes hold-W gameplay thus further punishing killers that don't have:
- an instadown.
- mobility to close distance quickly.
- a real ranged attack to ignore distance (i.e. Huntress).
How are you supposed to have fun playing non-mobility M1 killers?
Same happens with dead hard.

Yup they only have a short term strategy but what they don't know or forget is that the old school player are the cement of a good community that then keeps the game on the good tracks and alive.
On the long run, you need to have old school players to have an healthy playerbase.
New players that join DbD now will never play 1000h as the game state is terrible and they don't have this nostalgia link with the game.
If most old school players are leaving, the game will die. It's what has happened with L4D1 for exemple. It's what is happening with R6S.
And the state of the game doesn't allow new players to stay. Many players have joined the free week-end, none stayed...
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/77F402SKUZ1P/image.png
We will see what happens when VHS is released, BHVR might be really surprised 🙄
When game dies they will have enought milk from surv cows to make another game.

Seems to me like this combo would put survivors in a lose-lose situation. Either do Bones and deal with the effects of Pentimento or don't do bones and get punished with NOED.
Just curious if there is something I haven't thought. Also, not saying any lose-lose combo is automatically OP or unwinnable since others already exist like running BBQ and Iron Maiden.
Dont do bones to avoid pedimento ordo bones to avoid NOED

I hope they don't touch Artist. It's also not a good idea for them to make a decision about balancing from people who've only tested something for not even 6 hours yet and that's only if you somehow managed to start your first ptb match when the ptb dropped immediately. People haven't had proper time to figure out counters and really gauge how the killer truly is. (Also the ptb is probably the worst thing to actually make game changing decisions on unless it's a glaring issue with something and I don't think Artist has all that many issues)
Yeah I think is a strong killer and he need to stay.We need more A rank killers.

Ik there are hundreds of chapter ideas and requests and the likelihood for a license to accept DBD is all equal, but I haven't seen any SCP-styled chapters. I wanna hear yall feedback about what you think of this chapter idea? For context, SCP is a collaborative project of thousands of authors writing their own stories in a secret government-styled format, inspiring popular horror games of SCP: Containment Breach and more. I've always imagined this would be more of a paragraph with one killer but I suppose if other people have an idea for a survivor they can shoot.
The Killer: The Decayed (SCP-106 - https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-106)
Stats: Tall, 32m terror radius, 115% movement speed
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/NK3B7RMT347Y/bd5.jpg
Power: Corrosive Mucus -
Special ability - Decayed March - Hold down right-click to enter Decayed March (similar to PH dragging his knife). At a slight reduction of movement speed, The Decayed can walk through solid objects and can even perform a short lunge. The ability can be halted either through cancelation (release of right-click) or the power gauge is completely drained. The Decayed can only use this ability when the gauge is full.
Special ability - Sinking - Hold control to sink into the floor, removing The Decayed from the trial grounds entirely. The Decayed can then move freely between floors, through walls, etc however cannot interact with anything including gens, lockers, pallets, or survivors. The Decayed can hold the ability when in this state to slowly emerge from the floor (4.5 seconds), generating a lot of noise in the process.
Iridescent Addons
Iridescent S.C.P. Foundation Level 5 keycard - The Decayed now generates no noise when entering or exiting his 'sinking' ability and emerges 30% faster. Movement slightly decreased in 'sinking' mode.
Corporal Lawrence's Dog tag - While using Decayed March through a solid surface, the Decayed can see the aura of all survivors within a 20-meter range.
Perks:
Obsession - Prime Target - Your sadistic nature can grow bored after harassing the same target. If the obsession is completing an unhooking action or is being unhooked, the obsession status will switch between the two involved survivors. Both survivors suffer from oblivious and if the unhooker is healthy, will then be exposed for 30/35/45 seconds.
Scourage Hooks - Illusion of life - You enjoy terrorizing your prey and make them second guess every single decision. 3 hooks highlighted in white will become scourage hooks. When you hook a survivor on one of these hooks 1/2/3 other hooks will display a hooked notification to other survivors and the aura of the hooked survivor. Survivors that approach these hooks will diminish their illusion until no more illusions remain.
Hex - War Cry - The sights you've seen, the horrors you've experienced have all been delightful for yourself. When all gens are completed all dropped pallets will instantaneously be broken. A hex will then spawn within the trial. When a gate is 75%/50%/25% opened all windows within the trial will be blocked permanently by the entity. Survivors will receive a notification when Hex: War Cry blocks all windows.
ANYWAYS. That's my idea for an SCP killer in DBD. I am a massive SCP fan and it's a community that hasn't been tapped into recent horror games. DBD's inclusion of SCP (Particularly SCP-106) will broaden licensing boundaries as SCP-106 originated from a 'simple' written story.
The reason I chose SCP-106 is that he is the only SCP that seems like viable character lore, ability, and popularity-wise. Obviously, we can't have SCP-173, or SCP-096. A close second would be SCP-049 but he literally kills people in one touch. But those are my thoughts. What yall think of this?
Already proposed a ton of times but devs doesnt get the idea and they wouldnt even need to pay anything I would be free income.Add a paragraph of SCP

You've got to be joking, right? You'd have to weaken them to the point that they'd be pointless to use, not to mention that a rocket launcher clearly doesn't fit within DBD's tone and aesthetic. There's only one killer who even has a gun, and that's both a wild west rifle and a speargun, not a regular gun.
If the only way to make Nemesis accurate is to use a rocket launcher then Nemesis straight up doesn't belong in DBD.
Indeed you make it accurate becuz I doubt surv will be able to loop if you use a rocket launcher lol
-
@TheDarkTyrant said:
Thought this might be fun to see what you guys come up with. I have a couple restrictions. You can only replace the zombies. The tentacle must stay. You can also keep the zombies and just add an ability but obviously have balance it better.
Instead of a vertical whirp do it horizontally think about it? If they add a cool animation of the tentacle squirm back to nemesis hand could be dope animation.

You know, it's ironic in a way.
I love working as a team member, and always take perks that helps others out either by giving them information or some other benefit.
However, despite my enjoyment of being a team player, if I had to use comms in this game I'd probably just straight up quit.
Half the fun for me is making on-the-go decisions using the limited information I'm given, and giving aid based on my decisions to others.
If I had comms, that would be simplified to the point it's uninteresting and I'd lose my motivation to play.
---
Not to mention I sure as heck don't want to talk to a lot of people I see in-game.
I can already imagine people's shotcalling (that I will actively ignore to do whatever I want), which will inevitably lead to rage.
There are much perks to help others you just need to get rid of info about teammates perks and you could use blood pact for example and organize ur team.

The trade off is equipping the perk. Imagine if Borrowed Time or Ruin didn't activate every time you used them, because you had to do some unnecessary extra thing.
BT have a risk if you rescue someone when killer is camping him you risk to get hooked.
