@QwrtyMan213 I don’t think he is OP but simply frustrating. I stared DIRECTLY at him for an extended period of time and he didn’t break out of stealth. You have to position him in a certain place or he won’t break out of stealth.

I just think he is very boring to go against. The BEST thing about him is the ambient music while you are exposed and not in a chase. Just not my cup of tea to say the least. I’d much rather go against Myers.

How many times has crouchy boi killed you?

  • Ive yet to fail but then again i easily break GF myself as surv

  • @CashelP14 said:

I'm finding it a bit hard to understand the ability. So if I have 4 charges I can use 1 to curse a survivor to curse tier 1 or I can use all 4 at a cauldron to increase the power of my ability. So the next survivor I choose to curse will then have tier 2 curse? And it will take 5 to increase the power of the ability to tier 3. Also is there only one cauldron on the map at a time? I would find it extremely frustrating if the claudron moved every minute. Does action speeds include gen repairs because it would be way too much at 30%. Would need to be 10% at that rate.

Worked Up: I think it would be too strong for it not to have a cooldown. 10% is a massive difference in chases and with enduring and spirit fury it might be a bit too much.

Guidance of the Devoted: Good idea. I think the cooldown is fair and it would be a very good tracking perk.

Hex: Perilous Repairs: Very weak for a hex totem. The totem could be destroyed before any skill checks are missed. I think it should be map wide and affect everyone. Like the idea of losing a token when gens are repaired.

I'll give you proper feedback on the ability when you confirm a few things about it. You have some good perk ideas which would work well in this game.

You spend one to mark a survivor, each time you take your tokens to you cauldron all survivors marked previously and from now on would be the tier it is leveled up to, tier 2 would require 2, then tier 3 would require 3, and tier 4 would require four so total it would take 9 tokens to reach max curse, and yes there will be a single cauldron (might have forgot to mention it would emit a short ranged sound when teleporting)

Lol seriously if i hear a chest being opened i assume that person will be taking the contents no need to follow them to make sure of that

  • Lol ok I'm setting an alarm, gonna be first on console playing XD

  • I have like 7 chapter concepts up if you would like some ideas for chapters to do a video on plus i have 3 more in my notes im working on, would love to see someone do a video for my collision game mode. I also took digital design for 3 years in HS

@Dahtin Those were mostly my thoughts as well, we also know that there has been a lot of killers who didn't make the cut and were tossed in the void. Thank you for a well thought theory :D

    @Dahtin said:

I'm going to assume that in this conversation, we're discussing how long The Entity has had the Killers in her realm. This essentially means that The Plague or The Legion could very well be her first Killer, no matter what time period they are from.

Currently, I think that the answer is likely The Trapper. From what we've seen in-game, The MacMillan Estate has the most amount of maps available in the trials, tied with Autohaven Wreckers and Coldwind Farms at 5. To me, this means that when The Entity was beginning their trials, they constructed more maps off of the first 3 Killers because they were the only memories that she had at her disposal to craft with.

This leaves The Trapper, The Wraith, and The Hillbilly as main suspects as The Entity's first Killer. I can't think of any proof that definitively proves one, but maybe Benedict Baker's disappearance while heading towards TME has some significance? It's shaky, but I think it's all we have at the moment.

Yea the trapper wraith or billy could be the oldest killers by it is confirmed the first was immediately thrown in the void

When she throws a hatchet it makes a slight curve downwards, regardless of fully charged or not. The hatchet never goes straight so a Crosshair/play is kinda pointless.

Make a bow type cross hair XD

  • @win_kay said:

    I actually like that idea!

    1. It would decrease gen rushing.

    2. It would give survivors an actual second objective.

    3. It would buff devour hope or ruin if survivors don't destroy all totems.

    4. It would nerf noed.

    5. It would buff haunted ground

  • Recently I used to get games almost within 2-3 minutes, now I'm waiting so long for a match...

What @johnmwarner said plus survivor is more efficient

  • @Rizzo said:

That would be very interesting and a good way to expand the lore.

Lol can we get entity is an auric cell confirm XD

  • Premonition has a good combo with spine chill, spine chill procs run with lightweight looking around if premonition procs duck and go away from that direction, the one with the killer.

    @Chocolate_Cosmos said:

Spine Chill is a good perk that gives you a lot if good info that can even save your life. Compare to Premonition, it's god tier perk. Seriously, Premonition should get rework.

whispers on doc is the most pepega thing i have ever heard

he is arguably the only killer who doesn't benefit from whispers at all

Explain your reasoning? As it entire point in the build is to ensure that there Is a survivor close enough to gain madness, it is the initial locator and when they scream you have your target.

Do you happen to also have a pic of his weapon in game? I like the bloody coat/face but I've never been a fan of bloody weapons. That big ugly vein on most weapons kills it for me. I end up using a cosmetic weapon for my p3 characters.

I don't even use P cosmetics on my killers (my wraith is using the valentines cosmetic) only killer got the P cosmetics equipped is Freddy because that is literally the only customization you get on him.

  • As the Entity streches through multiple timelines and universes, could Dead by Daylight be a videogame in one of the very Universes the Entity has been in?

Not impossible considering if it can be in any of the multi-verses due to its lore that includes a universe where DBD is a game

Works wonders against the stronger killers. Notifies you when a Nurse is blinking your way, a Spirit about to gen grab your ass, or a Billy is racing towards you.

Also helps with weaker killer, like if a Freddy follows you during dream transition, or stealth killers like Wraith, Pig, Myers are coming your way.

Used with the right game knowledge, it can also help you in chases.

It has become invaluable for me.

Should have prefaced that it only works on T2+ michael

  • @thesuicidefox

Freddy has a TR of 28m The paint brush is - 16m look at the wiki at least once in your life M&A is ± 8 now some basic math 28-(16+8)=4≠0

Now let's do the same with furitive which subtracts 16m 28-(16+16)=-4

Now is my math wrong anywhere? No? Then this discussion is over

  • @Mochan said:

It just means some strong survivors are near the bottom and they are way above your pay grade.

    Happens during resets.

Also try harding for BP makes no sense, since you get less BPs for stomps compared to playing close, tight games.

Actually you can stomp them and still make a nice amounts of bp just as killer you need to know how to pace yourself at least one death after a few minutes full gen defense before that then its all in your field keep pacing yourself and killing try to ensure everyone gets their 3 hooks (2 at the very least)

  • What this guy said i tunnel every time you unhook in my face (I'm freddy/wraith main). They didn't care for their teammate to ensure I wasn't there or care enough I take the distract hit.

  • @Pike_Trickfoot said:

Yeah, you'll just make them leave (altogether or DC). It'll just make the DCing worse since these people don't care. Not with the faster queues. But I'd genuinely love to know how that goes for you.

Lol only those farming other players like that, they are ruining the game for many others trying to earn points as well

  • Lol its more efficient to play survivor

  • @Pike_Trickfoot said:

So you're mad that they are ineffectively mining bp themselves? I highly doubt you'll change anything with this PSA. All the potatoes that don't normally play are around for the event and they don't give a ######### about anyone else. Same thing is happening to me (PS4 player as well). Either make them take the next hit or book it to a loop.

I think my highly toxic hook jockey billy begs to differ

  • @sausage11 said:

Well I'm playing on PC so might be different.

The games while Bloodhunt are usually no real matches anyway. Just farming ;( Which I don't mind but not in every match

Lol people trying to cap for GF XD

  • While I'm writing this, I'm already waiting 15 minutes to find a lobby as killer. I'm Rank 11 so nothing too special. Usually, I find lobbys in about 10 seconds.

Since start I haven't had a problem i play ps4 in USA tho

Sounds like you claim that Wraith IS invisible. 🤣

You know Wraith is one of the Killers who suffers the most from the oh so popular looping, right?

He's not that bad at preventing the loop, but once he's in one, he's one of the few whose time is wasted the most.

Also Spine Chill wrecks this guy, it's a severely underestimated Perk in general.

Like he said, I nearly looped a wraith in azarovs resting place around and up a crane the entire match because i had spine chill and he wouldn't come out of cloak except for in the crane just before i jumped the window then back cloaked he went for another loop around the crane. Spine chill is one of the ultimate avoidance perks, only counter is a T1 myers

DREAM CATCHER - Dying Light, Ruin, Haunted Grounds, Play With Your Food, Class Photo, Zblock, green/pink mori offering. When the game starts, use CP to find the obsession. If they are a good looper, break 3 chases and they won't be able to loop anymore. Ruin buys you time, HG protects Ruin and gives you a potential one shot on the obsession. Once you hook the obsession WALK AWAY and let them get saved. When they do, return to the hook (use CP to find the obsession again if necessary) then mori them. This whole build is meant to proc DL as fast as possible. I have NEVER had anyone escape this build. It's unbeatable unless they know what you are doing before the game, which is impossible. DL on Freddy is absolutely disgusting. Once it procs, you basically have infinite time. Just use CP to keep everyone slept as much as possible and don't tunnel anyone else off the hook (incase DS).

HIDE & SEEK - Monitor & Abuse, Spies From the Shadows, Devour Hope, Iron Maiden, Red Paint Brush, Pill Bottle, Lery's offering. M&A + RPB gives you 0 TR in the Dream World. Think of it like Scratched Mirror Myers. You are slower than normal, so you want to avoid chases, instead you should go for jumpscares and position yourself so survivors run into you or you pop out from behind a wall close to them. Spies on Lery's is God tier and will make it easy to find them to put them to sleep. IM is so they can't hide in a locker, which would be the only counter to this build. Lastly, DH is your ace in the hole. Lery's has very strong totem spots and survivors will be too busy trying to wake up to look for it. Once you get 3 tokens, you become 1000 times scarier.

CLASS REUNION - Remember Me, Rancor, NOED, Brutal Strength, Class Photo, Black Box, Shroud offering. Literally just chase the obsession the entire game. Get them to waste pallets which you break with BS. Don't hook them, let them struggle off your shoulder or get insta-healed or whatever else it doesn't matter. Don't even bother with the other survivors, you want them to gen rush you. When gates power, mori the obsession. Use Class Photo to find everyone. When they are asleep with max RM tokens there is no getting the gates open. Slug everyone for the win. If your obsession has Adren that actually benefits you since you can use CP to see where the others are before you mori. Shroud is there to spook the survivors into gen rushing as they will think it's a mori, and to make it so the obsession can't wake up super easy at the start of the game.

TRUTH OR DARE - Ruin, NOED, Enduring, Spirit Fury, Class Photo, Blue Dress, Game offering. This is a very straight forward build, basically you are using the two strongest perk combos in the game at the same time. CP replaces the need for any aura perks, and BD makes it harder for them to wake up. Game is a strong map for this because it has strong totem spots but unlike Lery's it's a lot smaller making it easier to use CP to keep everyone slept as much as possible. En/SF to counter the multitude of pallets on the map.

ENTER SANDMAN - Nurse's Calling, BBQ, Rancor, Surveillance, Zblock, Nancy's Masterpiece. This is my personal favorite but is more of a "skill build" since you don't have Ruin or NOED, meaning you will have to bring your A game. NC is a solid perk for Freddy because it reads auras at 28m where Freddy's lullaby is 24m, so you can always catch them healing. BBQ is another top aura perk for him, let's you find a new target quickly. Rancor is amazing on Freddy because you get a mini-Bitter Murmur effect PLUS you are immune to the only drawback of the perk, the aura read on killer (so long as the obsession is awake when a gen pops). Every time I get my Rancor with this build the obsession never saw it coming. Surveillance is another great perk for him, as it let's you track where survivors are trying to wake up. Basically, you have 4 tracking perks that all track in different ways making it VERY difficult to hide from you. Zblock because it's his best overall add-on. NM adds 12m to your power (so 22m total) and is very underrated. The fact you can sleep from a greater distance means you basically get the effect of a block without actually putting them to sleep faster (because if you think about it, you sleep them from farther away by the time you get to them they are asleep and they generally don't know where you are due to the distance). It also makes corn VERY dangerous to hide in against Freddy. Oh and did you know... Freddy's power can lock on to survivors THROUGH WALLS?! Yep, you will see the crosshair snap to something, that's a survivor. The added range increases this effect, so you could basically just spam your power and spin around to find survivors. Overall it is very hard to hide from you. However, like I said this is for more skilled Freddy players. You have to really understand how to play Freddy and know how to keep track of 4 survivors at once to really make use of this, but boy does it pay off.

Lol there isnt a tracker like freddy, sucks that i getting changed... Also the paintbrush removes 12m TR and M&A ±8m TR which means its 8m not 0m tr if you want true 0 TR you only have a window of 1 1/2 months between ghost drop and freddy rework for that with furitive chase and paintbrush

  • Also while he is following cloaked don't waste your pallets, while cloaked he can't hit you, he can't gain BL, overall he is at his weakest while cloaked so do everything to discourage him from uncloaking and taking a swing.

  • Lol wraith isn't broken in any way just look for him if you hear his bell and you know he doesn't have the bone clapper then run, period. If you have spine chill it is every stealth killer's weakness use it if I is proced run and keep running until it isn't because he is right on your [bad word] jump windows and everything you can to put distance between you best case the wraith will waste time trying to line you up for a perfect shot that might never come worst he will give up on you and chase another survivor

  • So before The Nightmare gets reworked, any builds that will potentially not exist anymore that are worth playing?

I'd suggest furtive chase, discordance, beast of prey, and maybe a defense/locator with surveillance

Also go paintbrush and black box

  • Two points:

1.) Yes i tunnel, but only if you unhook in my face, you did not care for your teammate to ensure i was not there, then why should i if he is going on hook for the second time?

2.) As for more spicy killer add-ons id like to see an iri wraith bell that snaps you out of invisible when within 10m of a survivor XD

  • @citron right?! Anyways what's the point in sacrificing auric cells back to their creator aka why sacrifice parts of the entity's body back to the entity?

  • As a blendette i normally don't get chases if i do it's through T&L and behind a rock i go

  • Do you understand what a perk even is?

  • @LCGaster said:

    As @Spicybarbecue said

    Nea is the Entity

    Not according to lore

  • @LCGaster said:

We have no idea for sure since the Entity can appear anywhere at anytime.

We know that when she takes a killer she will have some kind of area which she has some control over, some kind of bubble let's say, that's how Benedict Baker got caught, entering The Trapper's bubble

One way to understand which was the first killer to be taken would be to look at their respective bubble, depending on how big the bubble is, or maybe how often people are "grabbed" within it, since Trapper's had a lot of people "grabbed", the reason why Benedict went to investigate in the first place, it makes me think that when the Entity chose Evan as a killer she was already very, if not at her most powerful, indicating he was one of the last killers to be taken, unless in our future a stronger bubble appeared, unless bubbles that will appear in our future appear in our past as well.

But we also know that the Entity doesn't have to wait for a bubble to appear to take a survivor, she can just wait or, as maybe hinted at in Jane Romero's backstory, cause incidents

I believe that to find out who was the first killer we would need to have information on their respective bubbles

Unless the bubbles can grow or weaken in power over our time

There are a lot of ifs, but I still believe that the bubbles are the key

What if the entity is genderless but because of it's role it got the female conjugation?

  • In his lore its says he was actively looking for The entity's realm and wanted to find out how to enter it and how it works.Isn't the entity a hidden being of some sorth. And how would he know about it if he hasn't entered the realm before?

In lore, there are people in the game's world that worships the entity

  • @AetherBytes its kinda hard for a single cell organism to have a gender anyways

  • Actually it was supposed to be confirmed the devs even actually said it wasn't confirmed but that it could be or couldn't be

Only people I hate that use SB are the ones that crouch with UE whole game and are afraid to use their SB cause they're saving it when they "truly" need it. Also about UE, I'll never understand people that use this perk, unless of course they're running full Blendette build.

If I ever use SB I just run around and let my exhaustion come back while doing a gen or something. Also a great tactic with SB is to keep your exhaustion at basically 1%, run all the time and when you actually need it, you walk for a second and then sprint burst away.

Never seen anyone use this before except zubatlel.

I do that all the time (I play never there blendette; SB, spine chill, LW, self care
