the only second chance perk i hate is DS, the timer is way too long also it should deactivate when
-the killer hooks another survivor
-if you unhook another survivor, do gens, start to open gates/chests

it doesnt work for : r.DefaultFeature.AntiAliasing=0 they blocked the file
did they just do it? i haven't played since Tuesdays patch but it worked on the weekend.
-
-don't use GeForce Experience overlay sharpen filter over Nvidia Control panel sharpen as it uses more resources.
-don't unlock your framerate past 120, as when you go 144 165 + (anything much over 120) it bugs the game out and you will start to get stuttering (will look like internet lag in game)
-to disable AA as of a few patches ago in Engine.ini you need replace [/Script/Engine.RendererOverrideSettings] with [/Script/Engine.GarbageCollectionSettings]
so
[/Script/Engine.GarbageCollectionSettings]
r.DefaultFeature.AntiAliasing=0

I dont think so i use bbq for the reveal its so strong conpare to the other perk maybe discordance can be use but you should just pair the two togheter its not like killer have a lot of good perk
it good vs baby survivors, higher end survivors, get close to you so you don't reveal, go in a locker or just brush it off since unless your Freddy they have plenty of time to do whatever before you get to them.
-
BBQ is not "needed" its used for the blood points
you could take away the survivor reveal and id still use it as its the only reason left to play killer.
can you image going through the pain of playing killer and getting the same BPs and a survivor... ugh

And there it is. Can't have a normal conversation without these people.
I hate NOED, I never use it and i hate going vs it... but hes 100% right.
when i play survivor i constantly walk past dull totems or stare at them while doing gens, only to get pissed off at NOED in the end.

I'll believe that when I see it..because last I checked..every nurse main of repute either quite her entirely or says shes just screwed rn..so I'm more leaning toward their thoughts..plus as a nurse main myself I can very well see where she stands
probably not as good as you think you are.

AFK Wraiths can make you depip so yes there is a reason to complain, you essentially wasted a game.
rank means absolutely nothing in this game anymore
20s go against 1s regularly
I cant even remember the last time i had i had a 4 + killer in the same rank range.

Lol, once again, imagine trying to stop or punish friends from playing together a game. Pathetic.
its not really a punishment since playing SWF is basically getting a ton of perks for free, its just taking the massive SWF advanatge down a couple of pegs.

Lol I doubt that very much..based on what I've seen myself..even then..the nurses I have seen have lost pretty much every time..red flag by any standards
they are there and the good ones are still godly.
-
its the same on the killer side, hits that hit don't, getting ported from the side of the pallet to the other, getting hit by pallets you are nowhere near.
but I do find huntress hatches to bug out more often.. that or hatches are the size of a small car.

Lol how many nurses do you even see? Rhetorical question..almost 0
on PC? Still quite a few in RR.
-
you can use the dc penalty to your advantage as a killer main, when your sick of stabbing yourself in the crotch by continuously playing killer get your dc penalty up high enough that when you DC you get a 2 day ban.. that way you cant be a sadist until the ban is over.

How to kill a game in one easy step.
they are already killing it by making the game miserable for killers
-
its funny, every time a new DLC comes out i return with some sort of deep down hope they have fixed the massive balance issue, and every single time I start to play killer and rank up I realize just how much I hate this game... like truly deep down hate it.
Im stupid for believing in them and i'm a f'in mornon for giving them money each time.
-
sabo change are obscenely OP and they went live.
-
camp tunnel and slug, make this game as miserable for survivors as the devs make it for killers.
-
survivor
-
Matchmaking is broken because most killers have quit playing, so you either wait an hour for one of the few killers left in red rank to come around or they throw you will new killers.... who will also soon quit once they start to face 4 red rank survivors.
either BHV fixes the lopsidedness of this game or this issue won't go away, but seeing how survivor cosmetics are their cashcow i don't see things getting any better.
-
Sabo changes are gargauntain nerf to all killers.
Edit: Unless they change something before patch goes live.
-
"It's ridiculous how you can turn the match in your favor easily by bringing a certain item"
playing survivor is an advantage
playing SWF with no perks or addons is still an advantage over a mori-noed killer.

“Main objective rushers”
how dare survivors do gens!!
noed is whatever, but it’s a crutch and a half
every second chance perk survivors have are crutches and i bet you use multiple of them.
-
I exclusively played/play Doc(pre buff)/Legion(post changes)/Freedy(pre buff) in red ranks and doc was always capable of what you are crying about..
his tracking was actually superior before and he could always stop vaults but now its quicker to connect after denying one.
-
there is so few killers playing now 10-15-20s killers get matched with rank 1-4 survivors all the time.
-
self hatred.
-
you're right, they should stop complaining and quit like most of them already have.
then we can get down to the real game of waiting in queue as survivor.
-
it's just not fun playing killer at red ranks, if anything it's stressful, while playing survivor it only gets easier as your teammates are not complete potatoes (well sometimes they are)
once I hit red on my killer i stop playing killer completely for a month or two and just play survivor
-
Legion, his power is made useless or even a negative by spreading out.
-
I regret all my prestige characters but for some reason I keep doing it.
-
With a toolbox a single person can do a gen in 53sec-1:10 seconds.
once you get up in rank where people don't run away like idiots when they hear the heartbeat 1-2 people on a gen and they can finish 1-2 before you can even loop the map.
things change with Nurse/Billy/spirit where they have ######### map pressure compared to other killers.
With competent survivors gen rush is an issue, but it's the developers fault not the survivors, they are doing the objective.
oh and it's technically possible to do a gen with 4 people in 10 seconds (1 gen)
it's also technically possible to do a gen in ~16 seconds with 4 people (all gens)
-
I don't think I have ever experienced this outside of pre-buff freddy where you would target a survivor who was not sleeping over one who was..
is this a console only thing?
-
it only sucks because the debuff is too low
-
it actually makes the game easier for survivors as they are free to do gens without interruption... yea its annoying but it only punishes bad survivors who camp hooks to farm saves.
-
Perks: STBFL & Sloppy are two I always play with, + A gen perk + BBQ (if they come in loaded with toolboxs I swap BBQ for franklins.)
Addons : FF CD + FF Duration - or if I use PGTW as my gen perk FF CD + Fuming.
Just pray the team does not spread out evenly, if they do just double FF for STBFL stacks then chase that target for the down.
if you use fuming pop in and out of FF to track them via gen progress.

Self Care.
Against a good team of extra cautious survivors that scatter from a gen the moment they see you, and are also excellent at juking, and able to keeping magically disappearing after a hit, then Self Care is real frustrating pain if I didn’t have the foresight to equip Bloodhound or Nurses Calling.
Selfcare might be my favorite perk as a killer, its such a massive waste of time and keeps them of gens.
my favorite are people who use it vs sloppy legion.
-
As a survivor: NOED
Ruin until I was able to get great skill checks more often then not, now I don't care about it at all.
As a killer: Adrenalin, much like NOED its a crutch.
i don't mind DS at all, just slug them and move on to the next player, its going to be two people not doing gens longer than a hook would occupy them for.
-
just get rid of noed and adrenawin both are crutch perks.
-
100% OP has the ######### connection
-
I use moris exclusively on teabagers/flashlight clickers and dailys that ask for it.
you can tell whos going to be a tabagger by their outfit/name.. the brighter they are the more likely they teabag so equip one up when you see it.
they deserve moris
-
Can't really compare the traps between the three as they do very different things.
and right now on the PTR Freddy traps are garbage and the pallet replacement for them is 100x better
-
Legion -> Doc -> Freddy -> Myers

It's borderline useless, yes. Once you get past about purple ranks, he becomes ultimately useless. Unless you're a living god like many of the content creators we see who do stupid ######### and still dominate. But, besides the point. If you're low rank, here's how you play him.
Step 1: Smack ######### everything. When you start, always ff (feral frenzy, remember that cause I'm not referencing what ff is again) them, and look for nearby survivors. If there's one close enough to hit, always go for them and extend out the damage. Continue until you know you can't reach someone. How do you know? Well, that's just practice unfortunately. You learn.
Step 2: Pick someone. Once you've hit everyone you can, pick someone (usually the last guy you hit) and dedicate to the chase. I recommend letting them hit you with the pallet, since his stun is so bullshit long that a pallet stun is faster than his self stun. Chase like normal until they're down or you need to leave.
Step 3: Reapply damage. Once you've gotten a hook, go back and start looking again. Once you find someone, go back to step 1 and repeat all the way down .
To make this work to its full potential, I have some recommended loadouts:
Ruin. Guaranteed loss if you don't run this.
Thanataphobia. They're gonna be injured basically all game. Take advantage of it.
Sloppy Butcher. Punish them for healing / discourage healing at all. If they never heal, you're an always instant down killer.
Barbeque and Chili. Make sure you always, always, always have someone to damage. Find 1 and you find them all.
Other good perks: PGTW, good perk in general. Remember Me, easy stacks early game. NOED, if you really struggle, or adrenaline consistently ######### you. Enduring / Spirit Fury: Makes ending ff equivalent to that of pre-nerf. With added bonus of breaking the pallet.
Addons: never use pins. Ever. They're completely useless. All of them.
Never use extended range unless paired with longer FF. Useless otherwise.
Blades, yes. Especially paired with longer FF, makes overall survivor mend time take forever.
Longer FF: almost always.
Reduced cooldown: just eat pallets. Easier. Use this if you really hate eating pallets, but even then the pallet is still faster + you get a pallet gone.
Never use iri tape. Useless. Iri button is awesome.
Never use shortened timer or the ability to down with FF. Both are 200% useless.
Bonus tips: Never swing unless you know you're gonna hit them. Swing at the very tail end of your FF for extra distance. Don't be afraid to swing through pallets, especially with pallet eater. Get close before swinging, 360 Legion is easy and guarantees lost chase. Don't be afraid to give up a chase. He cannot stop looping at all and therefore is subject to m1 killer rules (meaning some loops you just have to give up because taking them costs you the game)
Overall rule: some games, if the survivors know how to deal with Legion, are unwinable. If the survivors know what they're doing, just leave. He's in such a sorry state right now that sometimes it's literally impossible for you to win.
I disagree with the iri tape, it works quite well for a gen build, you know where they are working and where to use pop goes the weasel for the best results.
-
they broke it, i constantly have to adjust my sound up and down during the game so i can hear survivors and not go deaf during chase/gen breaking.

Complaining about blood points for survivors when killers will still be getting the same good amount of points? Jesus, some people just need to complain for the sake of it. I see so many posts about killers waiting in lobbies for so long and a change to survivor blood points would actually get more people playing survivor so those wait times aren't as bad.
Wait time as a killer was not an issue until the GF+Event came out, and its been going back to normal every day since.
With survivors getting equal BP there is going to be a lot less diversity of killers, why have a stressful game as a non chosen killer (Nurse/Billy/Spirit) when you sit back and have a easy relaxing game as a survivor for the same reward.... even more so if you SWF
-
Totems as a killer... not all of us play nurse and billy and fly across the map to protect them.

@citron You stopped using an add-on because you were hurting survivors' feelings? Hahaha! You call yourself a killer?
I hate it when survivors use all the current perk exploits, why would I use ones on killer?
-
@fluffymareep said:
Do you go straight over to your totem first thing when you spawn in or patrol areas you think they may have spawned? As a survivor, a lot of times I'll look at where the killer goes first or where they keep returning to when looking for a totem.

What lead to the impression that Lullaby would work better than Ruin? I mean, in general, yes, Lullaby with 5 Stacks might really be better than Ruin, but in terms of cleansing, there is no difference between those two.
Maybe you can try out Pop goes the Weasel. Was already good and got buffed, you will have full 60 seconds to kick a Gen. And 25% Regression is a lot.
I figured they might leave it be for a bit if they did not see ruin being up the moment they touched a gen.
and no i don't go straight to totems, sometimes I can't even make it to that general area before its gone

@Talmeer said:
Imo, the only thing they need to do, is to make the rework undone and then the Legion would be great again.
But please bhvr... Fix the exploits of the Legion first before you doing that.
I don't like to be in heaven again, just to fall down straight into hell a few weeks later, because tons of people would then writing nerf threads towards the Legion because of those exploits.
As example: You could grey out 1 knife, if a Legion trys to choose both knifes in the addon screen. That would be a exploit fix, without hurting the Legion.
Simple and efficient.
is it only with 2? I was playing with 1 and survivors were bitching so i stopped using them altogether
