I will take anything to break her boring game-style.

I just worried they will nerf 3-gen because she exists and this will be unfair for other killers.

That's probably what's likely to happen, although I don't see how they'll make it look "balanced"

Lately they tend to be a bit "nuclear"

And who is playing SM with no perks?

Do we really need to nerf all gen perks cuz SM? Mhmmm... Nerfing SM is better idea.

    nerfing, or changing some detail

she can spawn four Drone, why not creating a thing similaire to the knight and clown

like... She have two type of drone, one like the actual one, and an another who, as if detect someone, just go after him to catch him, giving a speed boost for the killer, like, when the drone was deactivate by the survivor

But she can only spawn two of each type in the same times

The Skull Merchant has an add-on that allows her drones to inflict the exposed status. If the survivors don’t leave the area within like seconds they’ll become exposed, and she’s in Undectable status because she has another add-on to grant that. So they don’t even know she’s coming. I know it’s always the survivor’s fault in your head but riddle me this, what should survivors do here, since they’re leaving the 3-gen too soon?

    Just quick correction

there's not an add-on who do that, it's basekit

About the add-on, some of them just make it quicker, but it's not the most common add-on this kind of skull merchant play, it's more the one who make silent skill check, or the one who make oblivious the survivor

    Occasionally? Maybe. But every match?

Maybe you should stick more to killer. As you said, its the only way to play "normal".

I got more fun, and even when I play someone where i'm not strong (all the ranged killer, It's hard for the moment for me)

I think that because, when I play this role, even if I "lost", I got all my game with the other, that's probably why

    @Annso_x said:

Unlucky streaks happen, sometimes I escape all my games and two days later I just get facecamped three games in a row and turn the game off.

Honestly, if it bothers you enough that you truly have no fun you should play killer instead or take a break from the game and come back when you feel like checking if things have changed.

Funny thing, I just come back from a break and... I got that, and with the actual system, even if everybody except me escape, I lost pip and got no point, so ... Yeah, super to play for earning nothing.. except a waste of time

Geez, if you think it is a bad time for survivor currently, I don't know what to tell you.

Solo cue is still tough at times with the randos that make really weird choices but honestly, even an average survivor with the right perk set up can make life miserable for a killer right now.

The other thing is this, find your own fun in the game. You went down to a hit. Why? Did you keep the chase up long enough for a gen or two to get done? Then you traded well. If you didn't, learn from it. Figure out where you made a mistake in the loop or mind game so you don't make that mistake again.

If slugging really bothers you, run unbreakable or level up boon exponential. Then slugging is more of a pain for the killer.

I know it when I post it that I'm gonna get some of these post

How do you want to find the fun, when you can't do nothing? Actually my fun is trying to make build with at least one of two perk from the survivor I play until is Prestige 3

even before, when I got camped, I was just sighing, because there's a chance, if you can know how to counter a face camper (like, when the killer is just standing in front of you) but, slugged, you are just standing on the ground to bleed out, and in the endgame, having nothing because the game consider that you just instantly die doing nothing, super fun when you wait two or three minute just for playing the same amount of times before dying

  • @Slaughterhouse3 said:

I don't really main him but I find him to be really fun to play sometimes. I do think it would be better if he started with all his traps, but that is just me.

I love when you trap the right path and survivor go in there without noticing before it's too late

I think the trapper are the most potential to just snowball survivor

But I think that, just giving him the ability to begin the game with all his trap on him (and without add-on) can be just perfect

  • @OnryosTapeRentals said:

I find it a little hard to believe you've been slugged out every match you've played over the past three days...

Each day, each new thing, today, my five match was that, yesterday, only camped, and three day ago, camped and one slugged by a Skull merchant who just 'humped" all the four minutes (I was wondering how she can't have some pain on the finger to do that)

  • Each game I got against her... I think this player enjoying slugging, humping the survivor on the ground until he bleed out and insulting in the endgame chat everyone because of lol, of course

    (Maybe is always the same?)

I'm going to think I'm the only one who play her in a "chase mod" instead of "chess master mod"

Agreed. Nightfall is one of the worst things in DBD currently. It basically just stops the game for the survivors... they can barely see 2 feet in front of them... They can't plan out loops when running away or have an idea where the killer is. Its just an environmental effect. i.e. Not a skilled move, just something that activates... I'm not sure if PH or Dredge activates the environmental effect or not... still, no skill necessary. DBD needs to eliminate environmental effects, as they don't seem to be fun at all to play against and it is has nothing to do with the player playing the Killer. (i.e. Dredge and Pinhead)

I lol'd when I saw the OP say "I'm in pure love with Nightfall". Obviously... as Dredge, it blinds all survivors and does the work for you. Why wouldn't you be in love with something that requires no skill on your end.

Look at this, a guy who allows himself to judge people without knowing anything

If I want to piss off, I would tell you that yes, Nightfall requires skill, but on the side of the survivors

That doesn't prevent us from appreciating an "environmental" mechanism as you say. Because it adds tension, when the dredge arrived in DBD, this system specific to it, a lot of people adored it, precisely because 'it grows in what was before DBD, horror, and that's what I appreciate this concept, I don't want a wrung game or there is nothing particular related in this area, or take random character from a comic book, a manga, a film, like why not john wick as a killer who pursues random character because all that can add something unique to the environment is "too boring" or can be in a game because YOU don't find it fun

As a Killer or a Survivor, lot of them find it fun

Little reminder, it's supposed to be a killer, with these powers, which torments the survivors, the survivors aim to survive against this

If you come to remove all that "torments" the survivor to prevent him from having the slightest handicap, what would push people to play this or that killer? You don't like the Dredge, no need to be dismissive insulting people

  • @BlueHorkew said:

Oblivious is good, blindness is niche but you need to be very carefull.

Both this status effects have way more impact on soloq then SWF.

So, if you buff them to much they will stomp lower level survivors but do absolutly nothing to high level SWF.

So basically you are just increasing the frustration on both sides and not acomplishing anything.

That's why I got the idea to force the survivor to go on the first person vision, it make the same for the two side, solo and SFW

    @[Deleted User] said:

Oblivious is alright were it is, it's undetectable but allows for certain terror radius only effects to be usable, such as Doctors Static Blast, but has the downside of not hiding/concealing the killer's aura or red stain. If a second status effect need's looking into it's Incapacitated since it's implementation so far is useless or overtuned.

Blindness is currently lackluster, there are some gimmicky combinations that make it work well. One change that probably won't make it a better status effect but somewhat more useful, is having it also hide the HUD outright or just the Survivor Status portion of the HUD, prevent the indication of survivors health states, action's, progress and chase indication. This would also work on killer as well since blindness can be applied to both sides currently. I've seen suggestions for it to apply an effect like night fall but that seem's rather counter productive giving add-ons and perks the ability of 1 killer to all, would be interesting when a killer is blinded.

To go the rather wacky change suggestion route, have blindness put survivors into first person view for the duration and killer's into 3rd person. Useful, no, fun, maybe.

    ######### yeah, I forgot about the Doc, thank's !

For that, the idea of Dredge can serve as inspiration for the modification, but where the effect is not identical, more to decrease the field of vision, to slightly darken the environment, to push the person to no longer have the field of vision as wide but much narrower (hence the idea of switching to fps mode)

Because i consider a survivor dont hear you is good enoght.

Plaything (at least for me) mess a lot with survivors and allow you to snowball easier. You can be on top of them before they noticed giving you a free hit/down.

Yes if SwF if they are in packs of 2 the other one can call out i know, still a good effect. May be that survivor cant see your red stain??

Plaything is really good, a perk underrated at my opinion, but when it come with, like I said, people who are in comm (even not good enough to play) , it still can dilute the effect

And the problem is, if we add the red stain hidden, it's just some "undetectable effect" but survivor can know it

  • @ARTRA said:

    Blindness yes.

    Oblivious i would say not.

Blindness could have a little more like, you cant see your own progress bar(gens, healing, totems). But can see allies hud.

So solo Q is not affected more than SwF.

Or if blindd you cant see red stain so it can be combines with oblivious.

    Dont know 2 random ideas.

Why you would say not for Oblivious?

NB: it's low MMR where everyone bad at looping and very meek.

It's all OK. We have severe censorship in endgame chat (or OMG someone could get frustrated in 18+ game), but this is all OK.

Besides that, every second killer, if finds hatch, stand on it forever, then what on the video. Very healthy, very fun. Absolutely OK.

I could throw a lot of such videos, just have to play survivor a few times.

Remember that when you see another crybaby post about how killer's life is rough and how he's being abused by cruel survivors.

How this guy did not having pain in his finger? Even when I "teabag" rappidely for greeting the other survivor or just for fun, after ten times, I'm done

I agree it doesn't mean much in terms of skill, but I mean in terms of hiding you'd think by P8 they'd have gotten that out of their system and become a bit more of a functional team mate. But it's solo queue. I'm expecting too much I think

    think differently

Tell yourself that he may have been able to prestige 8 only by playing like that

And it's not his only character

  • @Nazzzak said:

Why do these people bother playing? And why do I have to get matched with them? He was a P8 too, so knew better. He was the last one standing at 5k bp before he found hatch (I died with 25k fyi), and he even tbagged on hatch to the killer as though he'd accomplished something other than letting team mates die (I missed the skill check when taking the second photo, otherwise I held on the whole time). Not much tilts me in this game but this could have been a 3 man out, possibly even 4, if he bothered to help instead of Urban Evade the whole game.

Sorry, just a rant. My games yesterday weren't much better. THIS is why solo queue sucks.

Read the patch notes, saw a bunch of cool buffs for Sadako then stumbled across these 4 points.

    • "Projecting to a TV now applies ¾ of a stack of Condemned to all Survivors not carrying a Cursed Tape (was 1 stack to nearby Survivors)."
    • The projection now has a 15-second cooldown. Since there is no longer a range limit on the Condemned effect, we need to limit how frequently this can happen.
    • Holding a Cursed Tape no longer passively builds Condemned.
    • Cursed Tapes can now be placed on any TV other than the one they were retrieved from.

It seems that they've nerfed one of the potentially the 2nd weakest killers in the game straight to the ground with these changes. A genuine fix would be to remove these 4 points and keep everything else

    Agree?

I was happy for the change for Sadako, and, with your point here, I see probably where the problem is or not

1- the projecting now appli 3/4 stack of condemned to all survivor not carrying a Cursed Tape is pretty big, but, now, you can't know who was near you after your teleportation, so it's a buff, with a nerf

2-the projection with a cooldown is a nerf, but don't forget your first point, IF sadako was able to teleport everywhere like now without cooldown, with the point above, she just full condemn everyone in no time... 15 secondes seems long, 10 maybe can be better, but we have to wait to test to see

3- the tape don't passively build the condemn on the survivor... It's.. Strange, again, we have the same problem with Hux before his recent buff, what going to stop survivor to take a tape, and holding these all game, just for avoiding the build up condemned? Sadako need to find these survivor, ok, each survivor got a stack of condemn after the one who hold the tape was hook, or you got one when you got hit when you old one... But, don't think is "enough" , maybe a countdown where, if you hold the tape too long, a passively build up condemn are active again

But yeah, the PTB is not there at this moment, we have to wait to test to see

Devs nerfed healing to compensate for nerfing generator regression, or vice versa. The goal was to make being injured riskier without making it impossible for survivors to finish enough gens to escape the trial (like it was before patch 6.1.2, I believe?). They can’t have strong healing and weak generator regression on the killer side, either.

    That's not what I mean

It's just strange for me, nerfing the "gen perks" for killer, but not nerfing the "gen perks" in the same times for survivor

Like, in the past, the dev try to nerf the healing perks and buff the anti healing perks in the same times, and it's some kind of logic

Nobody compains about adrenaline, lithe or sprint because the gave a secondary advantage for some loops and then goes to cooldown, but MFT gives you a permanent advantage without any problems.

See lot and lot of people complain about that before MFT was a thing

When Dead Hard was nerf, and the survivor try some other perks, lot of people here want a nerf on these perks

  • @Chocolate_Cosmos said:

You start the match and you start looking for first Survivors by checking gens, it's been like 40 seconds since the match started, you didn't even managed to check every gen and 1 gen is allready done before you can even check each of them. That's how stupid the gen speed sometimes is. Then you look at the end game screen, ah yes, brand new part and two anniversary toolboxes with yellow add-ons. Great. You can start the match with 4 gens then by default.

You don't even need the BNP, like I said, with just a toolbox and brown/yellow add-on, 42 secondes is enough

So, technically, with the BNP and a very good toolbox, is less than that, but survivor don't use these for the first gen, it's generally for the endgame

    @MikaelaWantsYourBoon said:

Gen repair times is fine i think. But toolboxes should be reworked. And gen progress perks needs nerfs too.

How do you see a rework for the toolbox? and what is a gen progress perks for you? Deja Vu? PH? Hyperfocus? Resilience? You think all these perks need a nerf? Or some of them?

  • @Ayodam said:

I think their answer to it was the healing nerf. They can’t have healing weak (as it is now) but also Gen repair weak (like it was before) because survivors would never escape their trials. And then people would stop playing that role, it would affect queue times, BHVR would lose out on the revenue they gain from survivor cosmetics, etc. so they have to be careful. Players must understand this game isn’t a murder simulator; it needs to at least have some semblance that either side can win.

That was probably the most confuse thing about the nerf in 6.0.0...

Why nerfing healing when you nerf gen regression from the killer side? Nerf the two of them, for me, that was the most logical thing to do, but it was not the case

I can understand that, major nerf after major nerf, survivor gonna be very mad at BHVR because at one moment, it's just like Amanda, she did nothing wrong and got a slap in the snoot for no reason when everybody else got a beautifull buff and some love

I completely agree with tbh. This forum is honestly just filled with clowns who don't want balance and fair game. All they want is their party game where they can bully the other side with broke stuff. That goes for both survivors and killers not just one side. I'm done for now. I won't be replying and commenting on this thread in more.

You just want easy game, admit it

You cry when a healing perk come out for survivor

You cry when a gen perks come out for survivor

Now that DH was dead, you even cry for perks who give the possibility to see the aura of the pallet, windows or killer and haste perks

The dev listen to you, you don't want healing perks, you don't want gen rush perks, look, dev give to survivor a loop perks

And again, you cry for a perks where, it seems that survivor are more confident to play only injuried

I'm asking again... What do you want that survivor can play?

Typically, Killers want to win but don't want to play super sweaty all game. Its much easier to make the game a 3v1 early on, then play chill the rest of the game. If I have a rough game, typically ill do this my following game.

I'll tunnel one out, then 2 hook each other survivor before killing anyone. This isn't going to change with the anticamp mechanics, as I go straight to hook after they are unhooked, but far enough away that I get a devour stack (if I have it on).

I also play survivor and know how horrible this is to play against. Its an extremely efficient strategy that works almost every time. I have a better outcome with this strategy then having 2 hooks on each survivor before I start death hooking.

Note: I mainly play M1 killers like Pig, Plague, or Ghostface.

Like I said, it's seems not about "tactical issue" I understand why some killer need to tunnel one of the survivor for winning, ok, that's "normal"

Here, is more like, he tunnel the survivor, facecamp him of proxy, and IF he was unhook, tunnel him again and give no ######### about the other, after his dead, the killer was just chilling, not even "winning" (if you think that winning is getting a 4K)

And with this, in the endgame chat, just laughting about the survivor who was dead or insulting him, it's very ... Strange

Note: We are two lover of Amanda it seem's, but I play more Blight, Leg's, Knight or Trappy/Nemmy

The Knight is not good at hitting multiple survivors at the same time, especially not with made for this making them literally unable to catch up. It's not just, "oh it's like really hard but it's doable", its "they literally can't catch up because they move slower the survivors now""

So basically what is being asked of Knight players now is to chase them across the entire map until you have them pincered in a corner so you can actually cut them off.

I'm sure there isn't any sort of time based objective that you need to keep track of in this game right? All the time in the world to get this one particular survivor into that one particular gameplay scenario.

Anyone who claims that Knight can chase multiple survivors at the same time efficiently has not played Knight against a competent team. You spend more time setting up the guard than the duration of the actual hunt.

I love being lectured on a character I've been playing since release.

Don't have this kind of problem, sometimes, yes, but not always, if I want to disperse some pressure, that make the job, and that make my point, I'm gonna repeat myself, if you see one of your gard struggle to catch a survivor because x or Y reason (like using MFT), go trap them in a corner, you are litteraly two killer at the same times running after a survivor

Sometimes I read these kind of thing and I'm wondering if you are aware that, it's a game, where you face some other player and you are NOT supposed to always win

Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, and like you said, that's not the perks who make difficult for you to win, but only how survivor play... Ask yourself the right questions and don't put the blame on something else

Again, it's not because you play some character from the beginning that you ARE the most effective people who use it, I see some match with insane Knight who obliterate the survivor, and like I said, at chassing multiple survivor at same times

  • @masonsunderland said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3466586#Comment_3466586

Knight Guard movement speed, 102.5 percent. Survivor movement speed with Made for This, 103 percent.

So you have to stand still and lose distance in chase to summon a slow moving projectile that can't catch up to survivors before the timer expires..

I was already having a bad time against survivors that actually know how to manipulate guard pathing by hugging map geometry, now they don't even have to stop running forward to deny me power value.

Is Knight getting more changes in the future or is this interaction intended?

Knight is good in two thing in chase

Dispersing pressure and hitting multiple survivor in the same times

forcing survivor to going into a trap and take them where there's no escape for them

If you see a survivor who outrun your gard, try to block them by outrunning them, because, in this scenario, theses survivor don't think to get the flag, but just running in a straight line

Honestly, people just love to complain about anything that might present a challenge to them.

Med-kits? They should be designed for self-care yet they got nerfed hardcore. If survivors can already heal other survivors without needing a med-kit then why waste a medkit on them unless you’re going for a speed boost? Every medkit is essentially the same now unless you’re using it on someone else (indirect nerf to Pharmacy because of this.) For some reason survivors being able to heal themselves is a major issue for people. Give us a perk that provides a small speed boost when we are injured to compensate? No, that’s unfair too!

Dead Hard? The first nerf was enough. DH was in the game long enough without the balance being broken, and its current state is practically a waste. Do I disagree that it needed a change? No, but they took it too far. Decisive Strike? Can’t be used during endgame because if a killer downs you then it only makes logical sense that you should have no advantage to escape - they deserve the kill after all (sarcasm.) Circle of Healing? Pretty much useless now. If the self-heal was that bad of a problem then just nerf the healing speed for self care while keeping the altruistic boost. Botany Knowledge? It’s going to waste your medkits now when the actual logical solution was just to disable it while using a medkit.

Seriously, if you can get value from something on the survivor end people are going to want it gone whether it’s imbalanced or not. Within the last week I’ve seen posts or comments complaining and asking to nerf the following: Adrenaline, Hope, Deja Vu, Boil Over, Distortion, Hyperfocus, Resilience, For the People, and Windows of Opportunity. I’d also like to point out that in comparison to MFT people are beginning to point out Dark Theory’s poor state - yet before this chapter was released all I ever saw when ppl complained about this perk were responses like “it’s fine, it’s a great perk as is.” Because, of course, bad perks end up benefitting the killer.

I hate being that guy that’s one side vs the other but c’mon, all I ever see are complaints about how everything a survivor does or has is too strong and unfair and it’s old.

You forget about people complaining about the hatch being present in the game, and the hook who disapear after a survivor was dead on

Also some people complaining about survivor making gen because it's not the main goal of the game, but making chase for killer

Oh, and people complaining about the stat, apparently false because is not possible that killer got 60% of the killrate but less than that

In my experience there's many occasions in matches with survivors who run it who would've gone down if they weren't running the perk because the extra 3% just allows them to reach the pallet, even following them as tightly as possible around the loop. It results in huge timewaste for the killer and results in loss of hooks.

I'm seeing at least one person running it almost every game, sometimes even two

In a game where the server favors the vpn killer who can hit you from the moon...

Number of times where survivor are at the pallet, press space and it doesn't go down or the killer hit hem trought the pallet, I don't really think a 3% haste are a problem

Killer got not much, but some perks give them also a speed boost, you got a nemy who are faster than a TGV, a Nemy-truck who give you a falcon punch at mach 3, and nobody complain

But since DH is more dead than hard, everyone here complain about perks who give a speed boost for survivor: adrenaline, lithe, sprint burst, made for this... You complain about everything that can slightly advantage the other team, you complain about everyone, I'm not surprised that people are freaking out over here

Interesting that some of Singularity's add-ons got nerfed when there were almost no complaints about them, yet Made For This is blatantly an issue and has hundreds of complaints yet nothing has changed...

Because this perk is not as problematic as you think?

  • They won't let go MFT until it's destroyed to the ground

Like I said: Healing, haste, aura reading other than chest, boost for gen progress, unhooking faster/himself, anti camping perks, third healt state are a problem for a lot of people here

I'm very curious to see for these people, what is a "balanced" perk for survivor

Lol. I love it too as killer. With the tunnel meta, it kinda sucks when you're playing survivor and you get a Wesker, Nurse, Huntress, or Blight that decides to eliminate you from the game in four minutes (or less) though

I... Don't think you can really blame how the perk gonna be use

What I want to say is, when a perk is in the game, it give, technically, some advantage, but how people gonna use it is not really the fault at these and, you can punish everyone in the role were this perk is (for exemple off the record and survivor who bodyblock the killer, not everyone use this perk like that, juste a bunch of)

So yeah, with some perks, people gonna use it to play a way where you gonna not have some fun (here, killer and tunneling) but not everyone use this in that way... And I'm pretty sure, it's probably 1% of the user who use lethal in that way

Huh? isn't it about whether winning is difficult or not? I don't get what you are talking about.

I'm just stating the fact good solo que players who can properly loop, try to break 3 gen, heal efficiently, and coordinate like real team do exists, and winning against those players are difficult.

It's difficult for both of them, at this level, no one play like a brain dead, survivor and killer try to mind game each other, using different kind of strat for winning

The only point where I find there's a problem, is that, at some level (the best survivor), the gen are flying

Nope, they are weak just because they are weak, not because of any game mechanics.

90% of things SWF can, could also be done in solo que too, please don't pretend like they can't.

So, if killer can't win, it's not because who play are weak? It's only survivor player who can be weak?

Let me guess, that's not what you wanted to implied? we have to buff all killer because survivor are to strong but people who play them are just stupid and weak?

Sometimes when I play Wesker and I death hook someone, I turn the camera so I can nod my head on the persons monitor while the entity takes them.

    "BM nodder" was the funniest.

It was not against me, but I see one time a "Biseksuele biefstuk"

    image.png

But when I play Blight, I got a lot of "toxic killer" or one time, "tree #########" ...

like my trapper, lot of people doesn't seems to like me when I play these two killer

I landed Bitter Murmur, Stridor, Hex: Retribution, and Hangman's Trick on Legion, so Bitter Murmur the only slightly useful one.

When I was trying for survivor, I got No Mither, lithe, flashbang and for the people (and got focus all the game by the wesker)

For Killer, got one with Trapper and Blight, the two game, I win

You have to have atleast one charge on you when the gates open or when the hatch opens.

If you didn’t get a mask, then you didn’t have a charge or you didn’t make it to the endgame.

Killer gets one every match because they make it to end game every match. If you want easy masks, just play 12 killer matches.

Hmmm.. So it's the "charge" thingy you need to have for the mask?

  • @ElodieSimp said:

The event has always been killer sided. Easier to just play killer during it to finish all the unlockables. As survivor you have to have the invite + make it to EGC.

Killer making our life as painful as possible... Event or not, it's... almost the same, that's not the main point, it's just that, some times, I got a game where I don't touch a gen because I was running with the killer, and got the mask, but when I play the game, so, making gen, i don't have it, even when, in the two case, I got to the EGC ... That's why I don't understand

  • @Krazzik said:

So if someone finds an invitation, then just hides and waits for hatch, they get the mask? Doesn't seem very well thought out.

    it doesn't work

Two game I escape with an invitation, making my gen, etc... And don't get any mask, so... Maybe I don't understand this event, but I only get mask when I play killer

Tunneling and camping is not fun but sometimes it is what you need for the Killer to win the match.

And what would be wrong with that? Not like there aren’t survivor perks that killers moaned and cried about that got nerfed to the ground. It happens.

Ey, I love lethal, plus, it's not like overpowered... The perk is fine

  • @Cryptikk said:

Seriously, almost every game I had tonight, at least one or two survivors are spawned right next to gens. I run lethal and discordance so I can see this is happening right away.

It's not new, survivor spawn ALWAYS near a generator... In a way, you have 7 gen, it's pretty rare having a zone without generator

  • @FeryGEN said:

Perhaps someone had the Horse perk or broke hooks, and the killer was too lazy to hang you. Maybe it was me, I very often leave survivors to die from blood loss, if I'm just too lazy, or one of the survivors abuses the lack of hooks, or asks to kill everyone from the ground, because he has a challenge

So, because ONE person have a perk you don't like? You punish everyone?

  • @MikaelaWantsYourBoon said:

For anti-camp, first we got base-kit BT. And devs confirmed there is anti-camp mechanic on the way as well.

Making camping less viable is good on my book, i appreciate devs for working on this.

Do you think same feature will happen for slugging and tunnelling as well or they will just leave them as they are? And bonus question, do you think we need something for slugging & tunnelling?

Base kit BT is for tunneling, so , probably not for this point

And for slugging, probably nothing gonna be done about that

Like the old system for anti camping, people got crazy about the finisher mori, so, nah, probably nothing are going to be done for slugging, and it probably become one of the only strategy that Killer gonna use

  • @whickedchainsaw said:

If not then why are survivors so obsessed with doing generators? 1-2 hooks and gg 3 or 4 man escaped.. no fun no chase just boring pressing repair button and press a button a few times to hit skillchecks thats it. they have toggle repair they dont even have to hold the repair button. how can you not get bored?

I'm going to avoid telling you what everyone here is busy explaining why is the main objective for the survivor, but I'm going to say this instead

I agree with you on one point... I'm pretty sure if the survivors weren't going to make generators, but rather try to survive for a certain amount of time, or flee from a place like a labyrinth, or any other "gameplay" that is closer to the "survival" side of horror movies... It would be much more fun for everyone

kek. I wasn't aware "sth" was such an unusual shorthand for "something" 😂 Changed it to the long form.

But man, kinda sucks. I kinda wished there was something obvious I was missing - like how people get extra sweaty / mean when grade reset is about to happen or the rift is about to close and they gotta get those pips/challenges. I guess the past days were just a fluke then :( sadge. Back to other games it is then.

You know, I also got a game now, with a killer and survivor who teamed, the killer find us with zero problem, go straight as us, tunneled everyone except one survivor, a dwight, with bond, and when everyone was on the hook (except him) the killer and the survivor just run right/left without hitting them

The survivor go on each gen where a survivor was and miss all skillcheck, the killer come, he flee, and bodyblock the other survivor

You got everything in this game, and it's normal to do that, this kind of behavior are not bannable...

  • @Halloulle said:

Or why is it camp-and-tunnel-o'clock all day?

There literally wasn't a single match where the killer* wasn't compelled to sweat so much they could fill an entire swimming pool.

*idk about how survs are today, haven't played killer yet.

And here I was just thinking about playing some more again after matches yesterday and the day before had been more fun (and I by no means escaped enough to raise my MMR - escape rate was at maybe... 20%?). I mean, the Rift is nowhere near closing, there's no event going on - sth else going on? Or were the past two days just a fluke? Would be kinda sad :/

Everyone got that in the survivor side... The reason? Nobody know, some people say it's because survivor are too powerfull, some other say "because gen speed"

And the other say it's because is "fun" for making survivor miserable and salty
