That's what happen for gamer when they want to touch grass

The excuse of "I'm tunneling the weak survivor" are just an... Excuse
I don't think killer run after the weak one, just the FIRST one he see
That make no sense to say that they want the weaken one out of the game, where the three other gonna be "stronger" ? Technically, if you want to pressure the team, kill the stronger one no? And even with this kind of logic, how can't you know a survivor is strong? Being strong at loop don't say making every skill check perfect on a gen...
Killer tunnel anyone they see first, because it's an easy win, and survivor need to cop with that since nothing gonna be do about that
Light outs demonstrated this point, Killer just tunnel for winning without difficulties, and there's no excuse, no perks involved, no item, ..

I mean, Knight's guards were not mentioned in patch-notes or Developer notes at all. It is safe to assume that they were left as they are.
So it's an indirect nerf and we are mostly back to old knight

But i also think they are probably the best hit and run killer because of deep wound. Injuring survivors doesn't stop survivors from doing generators which makes the strategy feel unviable on other killers.
Oni is also good on hit and run strat
Wesker have some synergy with some of these add-on for hit and run
Legion, you are forced to play "hit and run", you can synergize with the pin add-on or some other for seeing aura and stuff... But, except the fact that this killer help new player into the killer scene, he doesn't have much

Mend simulator is the worst type of match. I hate Legion
That make point for survivor to mend (that's a joke)

I think CoB regression boost will keep going on unless survivor repaired 5% and totally stopped the regression
For the Knight's guards, there was no buff for guards gen kicks as I know. So it is kinda situation that it is not nerfed actually but feels like nerfed
It can be good to having some dev opinion for the second point I imagine?

I have 2.5khrs but i still enjoy them. They are really good at learning to 1v4. I don't think any other killer can really do what legion does.
Yeah, that's what techno said, If you think about him like a killer who help you to understand some basic mechanics of the game, he is pretty good..
-
@xltechno said:
Please think of the Legion as a type that specializes in understanding the board surface. It is very important for the killer to know where the survivors are and what they are doing, and by inflicting injuries on the survivors and finishing them off when they are unable to move, they force the survivors to rebuild their situation.
If it's boring, it's not really a killer to play.
Ohw... You get a really good point here... Thank you
It's true that lot of the thing I understand as killer, come from him, even if playing survivor help me also to understand some mechanic agains't them
-
@OrangeBear said:
They are fun and easy. Their power allows them to hit and run effectively because survivors are forced to deal with deep wounds instead of gens. If you get lucky you can get the 5th hit down. Also, the killer instinct detection is great.
I found him fun when I beginning to play DBD, but now, I feel more like I said, forgettable
If you get lucky, yes, or if you play with the pills and the mural sketch, you can get pretty much all your game an 5th hit
But the killer instinc, really help you for your power, sometimes when one survivor try to hide, but after that, this is not really... Sometimes who give me the envy to play him instead of the other

Nah. The Glyph ones aren't even the worst challenges.
There's one that has you survive a trial with only the perk Self-Care equipped. Maybe that was possible before it got nerfed, but it sure isn't possible now. I bet there are even worse examples hiding in the archive.
Yes, one
Survive a trial with only no mither equipped, I think it's the worst for survivor

Nurses Calling on Coldwind is your best bet without throwing or 'farming'.
It doesn't work, survivor are not stupid, and they stop immediatly when they ear the terror radius,
and for adding sometimes more difficult, the challenge are bugged because even when sometimes you got it, that doesn't count
-

If you try 4% three times, the probability of success is 12%, right? Successful once every 9 games. Moreover, it is a right given to all survivors. The probability is higher.
Even at 99%, if I try, I'm gonna never unhook myself
That's why I never try

It is ridiculously difficult and you pretty much need to change your entire playstyle to get it. And even then if they just stop repairing/healing right before the shot is fired, you won't even get it.
Farming is the best way to get it unfortunately. Let them get some bloodpoints and then when they are repairing the gens just keep shooting them until you get it.
I hope you get it.
I got it, I'm gonna try but actually, that's impossible, people are just sweaty as #########, and even when I was winning, they don't understand
I wish they don't get another one like that for the third chapter, because is more like the challenge where you have to win a game with only "No mither" it's just something for just desinstall the game entirely
-
@BlightedDolphin said:
It's a dumb challenge. You rarely ever land a shot on a survivor repairing a gen or healing even if you are a pro Slinger, let alone doing it twice in one game.
Best bet honestly would be to just farm and then shoot them while they are repairing the gens next to you.
But if you don't want to do that, then Tinkerer and 3 slowdowns would be the best build. Play normally, when Tinkerer procs go for the gen and then try and shoot them. Don't get too close to the generator though. The other perks are needed and the game will be over before you can get it done.
Farming is the best option though.
I only really lost two game, that's not really the point, one when I got only one kill, and the other when I got destroying by genrushing and infinite flashbang, even right now, I don't even understand how
I was trying with pop a moment, in my first match for this dumb challenge (like you said) and even when they are soloQ, they figured that and just hide all the rest of the game in a corner of the map
I don't even try to win a game, I just want to finish that thing and just playing how I want after that
-

I genuinely just wanna hear a good reasoning as to why survivors need that built in basekit second chance.
I’m not exaggerating when I say in every game I play there’s one 4% self unhook, it’s gotten so bad that I’ll wait till the entity take one person then go and actually pick the second person up to hook just so I don’t have to deal with the hassle that 4% brings
So yes I just want one good reason as to why it’s a necessity, thank you.
4% and thus, never happen or you have to be the more lucky person in this world
-
@Ulti84 said:
Currently the amount of obvious cheaters I get in my matches is almost unbearable.
Almost every second match I play vs Survivors who either are cheating in an obvious or subtile way.
Most the time it's the well-known Speedhack, with which the Survivor can move faster than he/she regularly should be able to,
then there are Survivors who teleport around the map, or teleport to a spot where the Killer can't reach them and then they hope the Killer leaves the game,
and many more.
(I am sure there are also Killers who are cheating)
I have to admit, the ways how the cheaters are trying to hide their betrayal to the inexperienced players are pretty funny.
Last time I faced a cheater SWF I stayed in the post game chat and asked them If they think I didn't witness them teleporting away each time I caught one of them in the field.
I mean If I corner a Survivor, and he completes vanishes to thin air, nowhere to be found in the proximity, it is clear that this is not legit. Especially if this happens every single time in the same trial.
Their answers were "Git Gud" / "I simply outplayed you" / "Baby Killer".
Yea.. you "outplayed me"... at spots where an outplay was impossible lol.
I mean I know I shouldn't be mad when I face cheaters (If it's early in the trial I usually DC right away), but still, these games are just a big waste of time.
I also have no empathy for the cheaters. Why would you cheat in DBD? Do they think the other players won't realize? Or is it just some kind of trolling?
"wait, there's still cheater in dbd?
Always as been"
in a serious note... I have less problem to detect cheater as plauing killer than playing survivor, there's cheater in the two roles
But when you play killer, the teleport action are more or less obvious, and the speedhack can be seen with the time you take to get one survivor, when it is more difficult to get them (in a straigh line)
When you play survivor, even for your teammate, you don't see that easely, and detect a wallhacking, when it's less obvious is hard to even prooving in a video (like the killer who run at you without aura perk at the beginning when you are hidding behind a big rock and running above you on the Game and just falling on you immediatly)
There's a lot of work to do about that..

It’s not always in your control but if you’re running the perk, unfortunately you’ve gotta played immersed until someone else is hooked. Then you save them (sometimes you’re competing with others for the save), and you’ve got your trump card for an endgame escape.
That's just my luck
Most in survivor side, killer side, I never get some problem with perk or challenge
But like, if I have to make gen, I'm pretty sure being tunneled in my game
If I have to heal or saving people, people gonna do that before me or camping
(these exemple is for the challenge)
There's not a problem with the game itself, just my damn luck

People are complaining about Deliverance now? Frankly, I think it has too many conditions (remove broken status effect). The anti-facecamp measure kinda weakened it.
People complain about everything, killer or survivor, there's always something ...
For me, I have some problem with some perks, but there's more "urgent problem" at this exact moment for complaining about these
But yeah, Delivrance make some people angry because it's a "free save hook" or not enough condition for trigger it
My Only problem with Deli is, when I want to use it, I'm always the first chased

The escape rate is probably somewhere between 38-40% when you account for normal/standard deviation. Maybe less because I think their stats don’t factor in the buffs to Billy, Grim Embrace, etc, and definitely not the new wave of buffs rolling out for Doctor (who already performs well against newer survivors and solo queue especially), Hag, Demo, etc.
Some of the new buff make me confuse... 7 hatchet for the huntress, more range for hag and doctor, bottle increase and more speed for clown with the antidote (nerf pig)
Gonna be fun when you play solo survivor, I think I'm gonna stay at killer at this moment when I want to chill

Ugh. Don’t even give them the idea.
I'm sorry, I try to figure how they gonna change the perk since she is in the roadmap and the anti camping, OTR, DS and some people saying that Delivrance need the same treatment... It's probably what gonna happen, and it's a miracle than the BT basekit are activated at the end
Plot twist, they buff adrenaline with a 200% haste instead of the 150%
-
@Ayodam said:
I think they want these figures as an aggregate. The survivor kill rate is 40% totaled as a combined sum of solo and SWF escape rates, and the kill rate is that for all killers’ individual rates, combined.
So, if we take this exemple, we are, at the moment
41,02% escape rate at overall escape and 42,57% at high MMR
In conclusion, we are not at 40% escape rate at this moment
-
@Rogue11 said:
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3654301#Comment_3654301
Then it's another nerf for solo queue. Swf can coordinate someone else taking chase and timing the adrenaline pop exactly when needed.
OTR and DS got nerfed the same way you know, and since they gonna change this perk.. And a lot of survivor perk got recently nerfed in that way (deactivated in the endgame)
My guess is that adrenaline gonna get this treatment , I don't really see how they can change that in other way to change this perk
Removing the haste effect/ giving a 100/50% speed boost instead of the 150? The recent nerf from survivor perk is bigger than that
-
@Ayodam said:
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3654237#Comment_3654237
Adrenaline would literally serve no purpose if it didn’t activate endgame.
Nah, that's not what I mean
The people ask about after unhooking, the survivor is healty with adrenaline, it's that I think who gonna be deleted
Survivor gonna be healed with the 150% speed boost, but if he got hooked before and the endgame start, the healing effect (and speed maybe) don't activate
-

every patch is just nerf surv, buff killer, nerf surv, buff killer… it’s either that or anytime survivor get new perks the only decent ones get nerfed into the ground like a week after launch meanwhile overpowered killer perks get left as is for months and months on end. it’s so disappointing. ftp buckle up is inevitably getting nerfed bc god forbid survivors have anything to assist them in surviving. adren is gonna be on the list next probably meanwhile there’s perks like devour hope or no ed, or honestly even any insta down perk. i’ve always heard people say “survs have their hands held” but if im being frank it’s quite the opposite. huntress does not need 7 hatchets.
while you guys are at it you should make it so survivors spawn in the trial injured and add 60 seconds to gen completion, also remove fast vaults and nerf resilience. resi is too op.
anyway ima spend my money on siege instead cos im over dbd not caring about the survivor experience.
Technically, in the latest patch, survivor get 3 "buff"
Quick Gambit
Gen kicking is limited at 8 kick max
and now mangled
there's some buff... Not big one indeed, but there's some
edit: it's not really 8 kick, but 8 "regression event", my bad

I really hope they dont remove the ability to heal after getting unhooked. That would mean even if you get to the endgame the perk is just dead💀. Hopefully the nerf is just that it doesnt wake you up from the dream world
That's probably what adrenaline gonna get since they remove the effect of a lot of perk in the endgame (like OTR or decisive strike)

I'm the only one who are a little worried about the change for Amanda?
The buff for his ambush is cool, really, crounching faster is also good ... But why touching the reverse trap?
The main power for her is the pressure from these, when they are activated , it help a lot and slow the game for the killer, making 3 whole minute instead of 2.5 ? On the paper, it doesn't seems a lot, but it his.. Maybe I'm to soon worried about that, but again, she lost something
I'm thinking about that but, why she can't recover her trap? Or making these active immediatly when all gen are done?
edit: I got moved here, it seems that I'm not the only one worried

This game mode really makes sound matter and I feel like ppl don't get that. Survivors need to stay away from loud noise notifications spots as much as possible and heal up away from hook. 90% of tracking is from sound now.
What if the killer was just hiding behind a rock near the hooked survivor, just waiting just for tunneling? Hm? Because it's that the main complain, not being lost of what to do
-
@appleas said:
I feel like people are tackling this game mode with a Core DBD mindset and applying Core DBD “rules” to it leading to overwhelming negative feedback.
I hope that the devs don’t end up shelving or delaying their plans for other game modes solely based on how Lights Out was received.
Lights Out would have been a great game mode in another time where the community was less optimized and experienced perhaps.
Thing is, the game mode is cool for the theory
But, in practice, you don't get a jumpscare killer who get you and try to create terror and insecurity, he just focus on one survivor, even if the other try to body block or be in front of him, he want the unhooked one
And if you add that some killer gen benefice from the darkness (Légion, Doctor, Myers, Ghost,..)
The tunneled survivor can't play , that's what people are saying
-
@codyplasterer said:
During the last winter event BHVR has shown they have the capability/programming to stop tunneling/proxy camping altogether; teleporting survivors who are hooked to a different hook on the map. This would encourage killers to go after other survivors and encourage more interactive gameplay all around.
Does this seem like a fair mechanic to implement?
Pyramid head is the only one who that, and even him can abuse this system
The hooked survivor got teleported away when the killer is 12 meters (I don't know the exact distance)
They do this to prevent the survivors who rushed there to unhook him, and causing him to be at the other end of the map, far from the others.
So if you make this, for everyone, first, pyramid head lost one of his basekit power (if it become normal for everyone) and two, you gonna get something worse than camping

I've played about 10 survivor games today and in at least 3 of them 1 or more survivors will either dc or kill themselves on hook. I'm okay with them dcing because at least i'll get a bot survivor that is often more useful than a human survivor but what really grinds my gears is when they kill their self on their first hook because then the game is 100% lost.
I'm fairly sure the survivors that die on hook do it to avoid the queue penalty from disconnecting so please do something about this.
Some of them can be just some... raging player
But for the other? Imagine it's the 5-6 game in a row when they get a killer who hard focus them litterally in the beginning, and in this new game, the killer find them immediatly... I can Understand the DC

It's also funny how all the posts are about survivors cheating cause it's much easier to tell than killers' subtle cheating, unless the killer is blatantly obvious about it.
The only case when you see more a killer cheating, is when a nurse are faster than a survivor without blink, and without his two add-on or Play with your Food

this is a genuine question, and it’s not meant to be harsh. It’s just i’ve noticed how ridiculously popular WoO has become, it was definitely wasn’t an unpopular pick before, but now i see atleast 1-3 of it every match i play.
i’m not asking for it to be nerfed, the perk is completely fine and acts as a decent way for less experienced players too loop/chase decently (and is also a good accessibility option). But i personally don’t run the perk because i feel like it kinda kills a bit of the joy in looping/chase because i don’t feel rewarded for knowing the maps.
i think what really sells the idea of survivors being worse for me is when WoO is combo’d with MFT (this is not hating on MFT, this is more-so just my opinion on the WoO and MFT combo), it’s just basically like playing the game on auto pilot. Like i’m being genuine here, pairing those 2 perks just turns the game into auto pilot mode. And the thing is this combo is extremely popular, why??? There’s so many better perk options than WoO that can also help with chasing. Any Means tells you if a pallet has been used, Alert does aswell, meaning you know not to go there during a loop but they also give you MUCH more info/value.
It just feels a bit odd that i’ve seen so many people complain about fun recently when the most popular builds at the moment are just auto-pilot chase builds. It feels concerning how popular WoO is right now when it’s mainly a beginners steering wheel perk.
(also the fact that a lot of people are complaining about ultimate weapon, an info perk, also says a lot. Would you rather hide the whole match and have the killer run 4 anti-gen perks?)
I don't know why, but it seems that pallet are more hidden or less present in some map, and, when you are in two or three dead zone, and try to survive, yeah, having some aura reading perk for seeing pallet or windows is good
