Same as yours.
I booted up the game for the first time on December 25th, 2018. The legendary Winter theme was enough to send shivers down my spine. I remember playing through the tutorials, my first matches as Survivor, my first match as killer (Old Freddy on Torment Creek).
Ah, sweet memories of a better time. Back when DBD provided me with a level of enjoyment that no other game could. Sadly, it is gone now.
I used to main old freddy, super fond memories. He wasn't effective but he was extremely cool.

Turning tampered timer to an iridescent seems like a super reasonable fix i haven't heard before, that i'd like to see implemented. Having it limit you to only one trap though is rather unfair for such a menial benefit, -30 seconds off a 2 minute timer with a 1/4 chance of getting it off on your fourth box is not in the pigs favor at all, and totally kills her slowdown for what amounts to a possibility you'll get 1 headpop and nothing else. I say it should do what it already does, but limit you to 3 traps instead. A good tradeoff in my opinion, you lose a trap you could've used for extra slowdown in exchange for higher lethality. As for the other addons, i've always argued the effects of the billy the puppet one should be basekit. Its also thematic for her character, survivors have to make the hard choice to further do gens and lower the countdown of their friends even further, or ignore nearly completed gens in the hopes their friend survives.

Looked pretty expected to me. Don't camp pallets mate.
-
Sent a friend, i like having fellow players around who enjoy playing the game like i do. :>
-
Good????
-
Have you seen charlotte? Shes basically decaying and viktor is an abomination from an eldritch realm beyond our comprehension.

Ignoring all of the other hostile and straight up ignorant comments, i am mostly aware of how the modding scene works. During the PTB, and this patch as well, attempting to boot up the game with an unpacked registry and changed files results in it simply removing the changed files and booting as normal. it doesn't ban you, or wag a finger at you and call you a naughty boy, it just scans the files and changes them back to their default if you changed them. You can feel free to try and change them all you want, but unless you're playing on the dev build (the acceptable platform to mod and play with modded content) the game will just reject the files and load as normal. It has nothing to do with EAC, this is just a modification BHVR made themself.

Not quite. On Trickster's best maps, the extra blade is almost irrelevant cause the Survivor was going down regardless it maybe just saves a few seconds. On Trickster's worst maps, the laceration decay is so bad there's no point in attempting his power anymore.
Run the ripper brace. It doesn't help very much, but it can make him a bit less stressful to play. Gives a solid few extra seconds before laceration decay

I might be wrong but I think I remember the dev's saying something about doing that eventually.
Don't behead me if that's wrong it was a long time ago.
Probably the same eventually as the pre-game warmup and music for every killer. Aka "Eventually when BHVR shuts down"

Yes, there is a reason.
Well??? :0

Jake, nea, and quentin honestly got huge buffs this patch. They are so damn hot.

I don't think so, if he is gay and he was a real person though I would be at his front door in a heartbeat asking for a date
We need more people simping for jake. Dude is seriously a 10/10 on the scale of pure attractiveness
-
-Opressive in a chase
-Needs to break off from chases often to reload his now much more limited knives
-Main event can now be used more effectively as it can be held for 30 seconds
-Takes 30/44 knives to get main event
????? Tricksters buff is literally the ultimate game of contradiction
-
one of my funniest moments was when i was playing hillbilly and cornered a claudette, she just looked up at my face, then turned around and stared at the ground. She was 100% ready to accept death
-
Sort of? I used to main the twins, still play them pretty often from time to time. Viktor can "ignore" dead hards if they're timed improperly, he works a bit like a hatchet but slightly differently. His traveltime through the air is relatively slow compared to the other projectiles in the game, and he collides with survivors mid pounce. This means if you dead hard only at the beginning of his pounce, he'll collide with you throughout the entiriety of your dead hard then hit you when it ends. To avoid this just dead hard to the left or right, dead harding straight is a guranteed way to get viktor'd
-
Blights teaser probably got me the most hype. The fact that it was gonna be a killer we knew to be the culmination of the games lore (and a blight event just around the corner) got me hyped to all hell. Blights design wasn't what i really expected from what the teaser implied, but hes still one of my favorite killers design wise.

I think Midwich takes that crown.
Unless you're playing blighty boy. That map is heaven for him

Bubba players really like it. Can't think of anybody else who would want it though.

This question has been asked plenty of times, but its mostly situational. Killer can often be incredibly difficult and stressful since you have to manage to much at once, but at the same time against certain survivors its a cakewalk. Comparatively to SoloQ where having those cakewalk survivors makes your entire experience an impossible battle to win, and can require a ton of mechanical skill from you to win. DBD's difficulty is nearly always situational
-
Well that was certainly interesting. Thanks for sharing lol, this is pretty nice

To know the answer look at deathgarden playercount
Yeahhh, this is pretty accurate. Want to know what happens in a team based game when the killer can ignore your teamates and your teamates can barely help you? You get deathgarden, and we all know what happened to that game. RIP BHVR's wasted terminator license.
-
Just to BM you enough for a forum post such as this to be made. Just don't go to the exit gates,i never do. If the gates are open i just sit on my phone and let them do as they please, more often than not i get hatemail from salty survs who feel like they had their time wasted because they Tbagged the empty space outside of the exit gate.
-
Its a concept no longer important to DBD. In its infancy fear factor was a big part of DBD, but as the game grew and progressed its slowly become more geared towards a survivor horror sort of fear factor. The game is scary at times, but more often its focused specifically on its action elements.
-
Because nurse is a complete buggy mess held together with duck tape and spaghetti, and any bug fix to her could end up breaking her to the point of no return

Why specifically on Freddy?
You can quickly move between generators to get a decent amount of them marked with eruption, make sure you have pop as well. When you down a survivor, its very likely one of the gens you kicked will cause a survivor to scream and be unable to finish it. Teleport over, instant additional slowdown and a chase. You can use your pop now to either proc eruption again on a new gen, or to just reduce gen progress while its in cooldown. Super fun
-
I honestly just wan't the game to be balanced less around Slowdown perks. Its very clear thats the intention BHVR has, as they continuously release slowdown perks for killers with hardly any variety. Their method of patching the gen speed (or more accurately survivor spawn spread) issue is just by giving killers more and more boring methods of slowing the game down to a reasonable level.
-
First ever mori i did myself was as huntress. Instantly got me hooked to the game, the sheer brutality was sooo exciting. I think the first time i ever got mori'd myself was by a bubba.
-
"Say you want more DBD porn without saying you want more DBD porn"
-
Eruption on freddy, i highly recommend trying it, its stupid fun.
-
its called EASY anticheat for a reason, its cheap and its inefficient
-
I don't know about you but jason is a lot scarier like that
-
Just eat the 3 second stun. Its such a mennial amount of time lost and barely matters anyway, and its not like survivors really use it to run. Most people using blast mine like to stick around and watch you witness the full power of the sun
-
No game can take DBD's crown, we've seen it tried time and time again and it'll never happen. Will any other game have the demogorgon? Pyramid head? Freddy? DBD has so many unique concepts it alone shall hold forever, which allows it to incredibly easily stomp any competition that could even be considered to be a dbd counterpart. No game can survive under its oppressive shadow
-
A stealth killer would be great. Im so god damn sick of them doing Range/anti loop killers 24/7.
-
Hag takes a ridiculous amount of map knowledge, game sense, and overall skill at the killer to pull off frequent 4k's against any survivor with half a functioning frontal cortex. Compared to other killers like nurse or spirit, who become completely uncounterable when their players are highly skilled, hag has plenty of reasonable counters survivors can utilize against her to fairly beat her.
-
Honest question: why are you asking a disembodied loaded question to a group of players on a forum who have not personally done anything to you?
-
The entire point of crossplay is to bridge the gap between console and PC.
-
Myers himself is quite weak and easily loopable, he also has literally 0 map pressure outside of hooks and any deadzones he creates. If you play smart and rush gens out, his perma t3 won't really matter that much. Plus myers is basically by default perma t3 if they're smart, since the only time they'll pop it is when they're guranteed downs.

To be fair, you cannot really expect the Survey to have any impact on the next Chapter. Chapters are planned long in advance (I think a year?), so your answers from the Survey will probably not be reflected in the design for at least 6 months.
believing the survey will actually be used for anything
-
this killer is simply just super unfair. I really don't have much to say about the people who play her besides that they should be massively ashamed of themself
-
How experienced are you talking? I've got over 2500 hours and feel like i know everything there is to know about this game. (Can list perk effects just by their name/image, etc etc.) I'd be happy to help with anything DBD related on the cast. I mained the twins for a pretty long time, so i know a lot about them. You can ask me a bit more via my discord, Midnight Creature Feature#0051
-
Blast mine is exceptionally useful for this specific situation. Better together can lure survivors into bad situations, blast mine however is very temporary and can be used anytime. Basically a map wide indicator of "Theres a gen here, but the killer might also be here!" So god damn useful.
-
Do: gens
Don't: not do gens
-
Virgin and chad, i've noticed for some odd reason the female zombie is doing nearly 90% of the work, thusly i have named her chad for her godly status. Male zombie is virgin because he barely gets anything done, and is constantly slacking.
-
it needs a huge rework on how and where it procs. Say for example third seal + knockout bubba is complete agony for all solo q parties involved, but only a minor annoyance for any group on comms. It needs to be balanced out in a way where it has a more notable effect on all players involved.

Neither are weak, Nemsis is B and PH is A.
Absoloutely not. Nemesis is low B tier at his absolute peak, and PH is High B tier, maybe low A tier. This isn't even up for debate, these killers can literally be annihilahted by holding your W key
-
meanwhile the zombies getting stuck on rocks 9/10 games lol

Yeah besides all seeing blood wraith is one of my favourite killers to fight. 4v1 killers are always better design imo
Yeah, all seeing is stupid OP. It turns him from a decent mindgamer at loops to just "I know exactly what you are doing and cannot be mindgamed, also i have a 3x speed tier 3 myers lunge"
-
God almighty no. I love this game but it is seriously not worth the frustration, just play a game with a community of people that actually care about one another. Try tf2 or titanfall 2.
