i get that, what Im saying is that in that time period, you won't find anyone that complained about the stun duration.

Patch 2.6.0 was released 19.03.19 and Patch 2.6.3 was released 02.04.19, so there was only a two week time period in which the ds stun was 3s and it was affected by Enduring at that time, so it's not surprising that the complaints at that time focused on that, so I would say that a 3s ds stun wasn't really tested (when Enduring affected the stun time, a surv had about 2.28s to run, which is still more than the 1.7s that a surv supposedly can use when the ds stun is 3s long.)

Before 2.6.0 the stun was 4s in description and 4.5s in reality if you believe the wiki.

And btw, head on can be used multiple times in match so I don't think that ist is fair to compare it to ds.

  • It never happened to me when I was ingame, but sometimes I can't start my game because of this error, but it usually works if I try a second time.

It is a fairly recent problem for me, it started in the last two or three weeks.

I don't know if they still work, but here the ones I've seen:

    • DOUBLERAINBOW for 200k
    • IGBPPARTY for 100k
    • BLUEBIRDBEEG for 100k

Doublerainbow doesn't work anymore and BLUEBIRDBEEG run out yesterday, if the leaks are right.

I really hope this is clarified soon because I've already started prestiging Jonah now despite him having max perks beforehand. And I'll be carrying on doing that with other original survivors too

I hope so too, it would also be nice to know what the rewards will be, so you can judge if they are even worth it.

Posted that already in a different discussion, but you might get a reward even if you did not press the button:

  • My estimate is that it would take about 7,000,000 BP per killer, so getting every perk to tier 3 on all 27 Killers would take about 189,000,000 BP.

Only a guess though, I can't guarantee that my calculation is right.

Optimization would solve many problems, but why ask for that when you can demand buffs to an already meta perk.

You must be new to the forums, people ask for better optimization all the time, see this post with 131 pages:

Recently, it's been getting more and more difficult to enjoy this game and to look over the glaring issues. The Console port of DBD has shown that the game is extremely poorly optimized, and performance will continue to get worse unless BHVR addresses the issues now.

I fear that soon, the game will become unplayable for us on current-gen Consoles. Resident Evil broke the game for a month, and it still hasn't fully recovered. What this shows is that the issue is built into the game itself, and will likely continue to worsen if it is not resolved. Likewise, we are seeing the return of bugs long thought patched, which makes me suspect that the entire code is starting to crumble under the weight of the game. I hope BHVR takes the time to do this correctly and fixes their game. If they do not, I fear we will soon lose the ability to play it at all.

Here are some videos demonstrating my points, please note that these were all taken PRIOR to the RE patch in June of 2021. These issues have been plaguing Console players since the game was ported in 2017. I doubt there will ever be an official confirmation from BHVR, but it is important that we do not let these issues go silently. The only thing we can do is continue to talk and spread awareness about them.

August Edit: Well, we are nearing 100 pages. Congrats everyone. We still haven't gotten an answer from BHVR about what happened to Optimization, but we have inspired others to start to question it. I've furthered clarified the purpose of the thread and adjusted some of the language used in this opening statement to better reflect that.

    Thank you.

The Devs also said three years ago that they want dbd to run at 60 fps on console and as far as I know they haven't reached this goal yet.

I think it is really understandable that people give up on expecting improvements after waiting for years and ask for a simpler accommodation instead.

Survivors don't really even need meta perks, outside going against a few select top tier killers.

This was the first sentence from @OpenX. I disagree with it, but "You can't get camped and tunneled if you don't go down." wasn't their first sentence

"You can't get camped or tunneled if you don't go down" was the first sentence in the comment that @MikaleaWantsYourBoon replied to though.

The "...select top tier killer" part was a few comments up, so it is easily to miss, if you don't remember each comment's content and author in a thread.

I have thought about streaming but you have to take into account alot of things from setup as a console POV, capabilities, off peak time as well at the fact I'm pretty anti social with anxiety (hence solo Q alot) I do still think about it but theres alot, and I mean ALOT of hateful people out there and my views and opinions are quite blunt and probably not shared with most survivors. Also the devs wouldn't like it as I dont agree with their systems etc.

You play on Console? With crossplay on or off?

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2867366#Comment_2867366

Most people just slot out IW for it - Huge meta break :(

I'm not a good survivor and I use WoO most of the time. It helps me a lot, but most of my chases are still short. So what I'm trying to say is that I do think that WoO is a really good perk, but it will not magically turn a bad looper like myself into a good looper, so I think you underestimate your abilities.

I'm sure that good players can still get a benefit from WoO, but they don't need it and can bring perks that are more impactful, so I think it is a fair perk.

The claudette outfit was voted by the community while elodie's was chosen by the devs themselves, so it would stand to reason that it was simply easier to translate elodie's outfit from artwork to in-game than claudette's was.

No it wasn't, the Devs always decided the winner on their own.

I think that the popularity of a Design among the community played a role, the Legion skin that won the same year had the most upvotes, but there were other survivor skins with more upvotes than the Claudette skin.

I miss the old Autohaven and MacMillian SO MUCH. The reworked ones objectively look worse. All graphics no substance.

I don't understand why they even chose to put resources into reworking the looks of the map when there was nothing wrong with them.

There are so many things in dbd that could be improved and they went for the graphical design of the maps, the one thing that was fine.

Yes, this is probably what they were talking about: BPs for Hawkins offerings, not for daily logins. I must've misinterpreted it, my bad.

I'm not even sure if I was affected by it, since I didn't bother to count the bloodpoints.

I think the Devs informed us very shortly before they removed the offerings, so many people didn't have the time to count the offerings, so there were probably many people like you, who didn't noticed or weren't sure about it.

I guess people are more vocal about the Shards because Shards are more valuable but also because getting nothing is easier to notice.

Well. I read about this issue NOW as well, but curiously I never noticed those back when those Bp were given out? But I can’t deny if those reports didn’t happen.

I found this post with a quick search, but like I said, I'm pretty sure I saw a bug report aswell.

    @agonizing said:

I had over 300+ Hawkins offerings between my killers and survivors and ended up with only 100K.

Other people who had way less offerings than I did had over 1,000,000 BP awarded to their account.

Anyone else experience this disproportion of bloodpoints? When can we expect a fix? Here is the post for reference.

The amount of Bloodpoints I got seemed too low aswell, that was the reason why I looked in the bug report section back then, but I saw it mentioned in General Diskussions a few times aswell.

The Devs never acknowledged (as far as I know) and it was just Bloodpoints, so I let go (and I guess the other players did so aswell), but people definitely talked about it.

    Edit: Found the Bug report:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/292671/hawkins-offering-reward-bps-seem-off

  • Apparently some people didn't get the correct amount of Bloodpoints when the Hawkins Offerings were removed and it was reported as bug aswell, but as far as I know the Devs never acknowledged or fixed it so the situation is a bit different, but I can understand that people transfer their experience with the offerings on the this situation.

Wait you have to M1 the snowmen for the survivors to get the cosmetic?

Maybe you found out already but yes, with Doc only the M1 gives the surv (and probably the killer aswell, but that is only a guess) the cosmetic, the shock just destroys the snowman.

That is not true for other killers though, chainsaw and Tricksters knifes (if they injure you) for example count for the cosmetic.

Someone mentioned that deathslingers spear also doesn't count so it seems like an oversight from BHVR to me (or maybe they just didn't care).

    That's when I started.

If I recall, it was because of long survivor queues at high ranks.

It was a miserable experience for me, especially as a complete newbie.

I looked at the your old posts and it seems like you missunderstood a Dev's comment about killer specific matchmaking (MMR) being disabled as the general killer matchmaking (emblem system) being disabled.

The emblem system was supposed to search for a match within 6 ranks of your own and would expand with wait time, so I don't think that it was disabled, it just worked as badly as it always did.

I've played since late 2017 and matchmaking for new killers (or new players in general) was always #########, so I'm not sure if MMR has really improved the situation, but since you can't see your MMR score it's hard to monitor it.

  • There was a time in 2020 with no matchmaking protection for killers?

    Do you remember why?

I personally think the Boon perks are a tad too powerful.

Circle of Healing at +100% is very strong and could still be a powerful perk at just +50%.

Meanwhile Shadow Step conceals both scratch marks and auras. It could get away with being either one of those.

You could split Shadow Step into two different Boon perks, and one of those could be generic.

I have not played much lately and also haven't bought Mikeala yet, so I can't really judge how good the boon totems are, but I like your idea of general boon perks.

  • @bigfootismydad said:

I had no hexes. I downed the player in the vicinity of a boon. Slugged the player to down another nearby survivor. Just as I returned to the first player they picked themselves up off the ground right in front of me. I hit them and Soul Guard endurance activated. After the game I checked and they did NOT have unbreakable. Perhaps a bug, perhaps not. But those were the order of events.

I don't want to be pessimistic, but it could also be a cheat.

I've seen a clip of a survivor who used inner strength despite not having the perk equipped.

So then people just need to wait til her perks get onto the Shrine. Got it.

*edit - I mean that's what they did with Hag right? Made you wait til the perks got into the shrine if you didn't want to buy her? So I don't see much difference here. Heck, you actually have MORE options here than you did with Hag.

I think what landromat meant was that technically you didn't need to buy Hag to equip a hex perk when she was released because the Devs added thrill of the hunt as a general and therefore free hex perk at roughly the same time. So if you only wanted to test a Hex you could use Thrill without having to buy Hag.

I also don't think that the Situation with the Boom totems is that bad, but it is a little different to Hag's Situation.

Imo the Community should have asked for a good training mode instead of killer specific matchmaking but now it's too late (not for a training mode, but for the killer switch in the lobby).

A training mode against bots has been requested many times over the years. And also a ranked / unranked (or casual) queue.

The problem that Killers have with not being able to switch I think is mostly that Survivors can just equip keys / flashlights at the last second and you can't react to that at all really. If you are a Killer you are currently levelling and so you don't have any good perks on them at least before you had a small chance to quickly switch your Killer to counter the items that were just equipped. Now you don't have that anymore.

I know that people requested it, but I think that the killer specific matchmaking was requested more, but my perception of that might be biased.

I 100% understand that problem, that is why I said that I miss the killer swap aswell. Most players won't have all perks on all killers with the massive grind in the game and that sucks if you would want to bring a specific perk for a match because of the survs. And sometimes it's not even the perks, for example if there are 4 medkits in the lobby, Plague might be a good idea.

My point is just that you probably can't have both, killer specific matchmaking and killer swap in lobby, so imo the community was shortsighted in requesting it.

  • I dislike it aswell that we can't switch Killer anymore but this one thing is the Community's fault.

There were quite some people who wanted a matchmaking system which differs between the killers but if you want such a system you can't keep the killer switch in the lobby because you could join the lobby with a weaker killer to get weaker Survs and than switch back to a stronger killer and destroy the Survs.

Imo the Community should have asked for a good training mode instead of killer specific matchmaking but now it's too late (not for a training mode, but for the killer switch in the lobby).

I also disagree that survivors always only get support in this forum. A while ago there was a discussion, where a surv complained about losing 20 games without the MMR-System adjusting to it and a bit more recently someone made basically the same discussion from a killers perspective. Both posts had supportive comments and both had comments like "if you lose that often you are just bad".

Just like in the game there are people in this forum who are biased towards Killers and people who are biased towards Survivors and people who are neutral, so there will always be people who support a complaint from one side, people who try to discredit the complain and people who try to have a civil discussion about it but that is not specific to the discussion from one side.

  • Some people are just #########, it sucks but there is not much that you can do (except for maybe closing the chat).

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/283606/remember-this-is-a-ptb-for-a-reason

I seem to remember when Mettle of Man was on the PTB, and killer players screamed at the top of their lungs how much unbalance this would bring to the game. We were told what you are telling us now. Calm down, just give your feedback and this likely wouldn't be the final version of the perk that was brought to the game.

That perk was brought to the game with no changes whatsoever to what it was on the PTB.

So forgive us if we feel like screaming at the top of our lung about this.

There was no PTB for mettle of men.

The Devs accidently leaked the perks with an update earlier (I think only on console and I don't know if just the discriptions were leaked or if you could equip the perks) and than just released the Chapter without a PTB.

Yeah, people did rightfully voice concerns about the perk after the leaks, but as I said there was no PTB so your statement is not correct.

  • Are you sure that it won't work with Night Shroud?

You are exposed for 45 seconds, so I thought Vigil could influence that or does it not because Night Shroud is a power not a Perk/Addon?

  • @Jasix said:

Not saying you are being untruthful, but this video does not prove you had a 24 loss streak. You made it sound like you got whooped ever since SBMM came out, but you obviously pipped some as you were Ash II. Yes I know you can pip without escaping, but again the video proves nothing. Did you not record the two matches - loss 22 & 23 before this match as well? If so.. why didn't you show those two losses and then your escape? I am always skeptical of selective "proof."

If it is true - that sucks, but it is also not the normal for the vast majority of players. I played 27 solo survivor matches the other day (each survivor one match) - The only "meta" perk I used was Borrowed Time which helps my teammates and not me. Of those 27 I escaped 16 times and was given the hatch twice. Prior to SBMM I was a rank 1 survivor for 4+ years. I don't think I am a great survivor by any stretch of the imagination - average sure MAYBE slightly above average. The worst I have SEEN was a streamer friend who played around 15 matches and only escaped twice.

Regarding the pip thing: I think it takes about 10 pips (maybe even less, not sure) from Ash IV to Ash II, and you can pip with only 9 emblem points. Also in the old system you couldn't lose a pip in grey ranks (I don't know if they changed that with the grades though) so I don't think Op's Grade contradicts their story. To me only earning 10 pips in allegedly 23 games in grey ranks kinda supports Op's story because that is not a good quote.

Imo the video that OP posted shows pretty clearly what the problem is: Op's teammates, who are obv not on the same level.

Also, good for you, that your matches are going better but I don't see how that's supposed to help OP.

  • The wiki says the exit gate is blocked for 5s after freeing yourself from the chains.

I'm not sure if they reversed the change but I do remember that they said in a stream as reaction to this outrage that they want to implement more graphic options including an Option to disable AA.

  • Gold I would have been Rank 5 in the old system, Iridescent IV would have been Rank 5, so that is only a Grade difference (and grades are not used for matchmaking anyway) so I don't think that they are exploiting the system.

Sure, there MMR might be very different, but we can't judge that.

? Dead by Daylight and Steam are not the same program. Steam is external software to the game of Dead by Daylight. It is an external tool.

The word cheating has a definition, and the devs being too autistic to understand that does not change the definition.

They are not, but you also can't stop people from using the steam voice chat (or the build in console voice chat as far as I know) without stopping them from playing the game, so even if the Devs would not want people to use voice chat they couldn't enforce it.

I'm sure the Devs understand the Definition (which is btw not as clear as you think, google it, there are different ways to define it, ranging from using third party programs to gain an advantage to just playing the game not the way it was intended) they just decided it doesn't apply in this situation. And that is what I'm trying to say: It doesn't matter what you think if the Devs say "this is an intended way to play the game" than it is an intended way to play the game, even if people use third party programs to do it.

It is fair to think that SWF gives an unfair advantage and to criticise that but insiting that is it cheating when the Devs, who will always have the last word in this situation because they make the game rules, have said that it is not, will achieve nothing but make you look like a stubborn child.

  • @ComedyHour said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2426518#Comment_2426518

It's cheating regardless of anything the devs say. There is no way to use voice comms in the game without using external tools, that makes it cheating.

You could use the steam voice chat and you would technically not use a third party program because you need to run steam to play the game (if you play on steam of course).

You can also sit in the same room and talk directly.

But in the end that doesn't matter, because it's not up to you to decide what is cheating or exploiting and what is not, the Devs do. And you can complain all you want, it will do nothing as long as the Devs see things differently.

  • @Junylar said:

Is there any single SWF group in this game that is not a team of trolls and pricks? Every time something like this happens - it's SWF. Every time survivors bully the killer - it's SWF. It's almost like SWF and enormous toxicity are synonyms.

I've been trolled (working with the Killer, sandbagging) by solos. It is definitely easier to be dicks in a group but I think ######### will be #########, doesn't matter if they play alone or with friends.

  • The official dbd discord has voice channels for SWF so you might consider it cheating but the Devs certainly don't.

Also Survivors: Clicking, t-bagging, and waiting at the exits are part of the game. Suck it up.

The double-standard for actions is staggering.

Weren't you the guy that had no problems defending a killer who refused to end the game when the survs went afk/gave up? Interesting that it bothers you when the killer is affected but not the other way around.

That seems like a staggering double standard to me.

was OP running away from the killer all the time? because it sounds like this killer just wanted to be friendly but idk. This wouldn't happen if the other two survivors didn't dc so this is their fault as well, OP is clear (even if killer just wanted to be friendly) but the rest players aren't.

The killer did down OP as far as I know and then drop them until the wiggle out to prevent the bleed out, which could indicate that the killer only wanted to be friendly, but they also prevented the OP from finishing the gens, so it is hard do judge without a video. But even if the killer is friendly, it is not allowed to force other people to farm even if your Intention is to be nice.

I agree that it was a sucky situation over all and the teammates weren't helpful either. The suggestion to end the game automatically after 30 Minutes that other people is this discussion made might be a good idea to prevent such and similar situation (e. g. when the survs are just hiding).

if someone is afk he/she shouldn't complain about taking the game hostage because he/she wasn't doing progress either and wasn't playing the match.

But as far as I understand the situation the op wasn't the one who wenf afk first. The other survivor did, OP tried to the gens, which obv wasn't possible alone, but the killer refused to kill them (or the other surv, who was afk, so it would have an easy kill) so OP gave up aswell, which is pretty understable to me, because what else should they do when working on a gens doesn't lead to any progress because the other surv is afk but dying is also not an option because the killer doesn't want to hook them or let them bleed out?

I think you can blame the other surv a bit, but holding the game hostage (or prolonging it unneccessarily long) is worse to me than going afk (and only one them is mentioned in the game rules).

Also I can guarantee you that there are posts in this forum, where a Killer complains that they went afk because the game was frustrating and the survs refused to just finish the gens and leave. And if I remember correctly, in this posts most commenters were sympathetic to the Killer, so I'm a bit suprised that many people seem to have no or little empathy towards the OP here.

So in general: Players go afk, yeah it sucks, but people get frustrated or have things in real life to care for, don't be a dick and just end the match, otherwise you are worse than them (atleast in my opinion, maybe even in the Devs eyes, but game rules aren't super clear).

Thank you for the reply. I thought that since both side didn't try to progress the game in any way, it would be the case but it seems like i was wrong.

I'm not 100% sure myself, it would have been nice if a mod had commented on this post, but punishing people for being afk seems very weird to me. Of course it is annoying when someone refused to play but you can never be sure if there isn't something going on in their real life, so I wouldn't want to punish people for that, but mods might handle it differently, I'm only guessing based on the game rules.

This, almost everyone here is misunderstanding what the fault was.

While it is reportable and scummy, it isn't taking the game hostage.

Furthermore, if we read the mod comment on this post:https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2130212

It is said that "Beyond that, nobody is allowed to take the game hostage. Whether that's survivors crounching around in corners refusing to touch generators to drag on the game for half an hour or a killer blocking someone in the corner and refusing to kill them, it's reportable either way."

Which mean that both the survivors and the killer in this match can be reported for not progressing the match.

While the 2 survivors here went afk because they thought nothing could be done, it doesn't change the fact that they did not contribute to progressing the game and are as such, also somewhat responsible for this 1 hour game because the killer could have tried to hook them or they could have tried to do gens, however slow it may be.

I always assumed that holding the game hostage as survivor means the Situation in which the survs avoid the killer without doing gens for a long time, so that the game doesn't finish. But if a surv goes afk they will get crows, I think it takes 3 minutes to get 3 crows, so even if the killer doesn't know where they are after three minutes he will. (Devs have made it clear that is is okay for the killer to let the last surv bleed out without a reason, which will take for minutes, so I would be very suprised of the 3 minutes wait time for the crows would be a problem).

I have also never heard that being afk is reportable for either side (and the game rules don't mention it), so I don't think that you are correct that both would be reportable in this situation.

You are not getting my point

I am not defending this killer in any way or form.

Just want to let it know that this is grieving and not holding the game hostage.

So that people who get slugged a bit won't start sending fake holding the game hostage reports.

Stealing is a crime. But if you call it murder and the police has to handle every shoplifter as a murderer then the real murderers are just out there longer or won't get caught at all.

There is a reason they have to put time effort and resources into making an automated report system

I know that you are not saying what the killer did was okay, but I addressed two people in my comment and the first points were more directed at the other person (I could have separated that better though).

    You ignored my points:

    1. Taking the game hostage is griefing and I'm pretty sure that you only have the option to report by category not by sub category ingame, so it shouldn't matter. (If you send a ticket you can only choose between hacking, exploiting, harassment, unsportsmanlike and other, so I don't see how calling it "taking the game hostage" would be a problem here).

    2. Atleast in the game rules on this forum there is no offense that is called "prolonging the game for an unreasonable time" so if you have to choose one of the options that are mentioned in the game rules "taking the game hostage" is probably the closest to the situation OP described.

To further support my point: The Mods have called the situation where the killer blocks one survivor in a corner for a long time "holding the game hostage" even though the other Survs can still finish the last gens and end the game via egc, so it wouldn't be holding the game hostage by your Definition.

Yes, it is clearly griefing and can be reported for grieving.

The problem is people twisting the meaning of holding the game hostage which no doubt leads to 1000ths of false reports which leads to the actual legit report to take ages or get burried.

Why do you think the devs are putting resources into an automated system

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2379823#Comment_2379823

Doctor used to be different because he could keep survivors in madness tier 3 pretty much all the time.

This post was before the rework and doesn't hold merrit now. With how doc doesn't passivilly increase madness anymore and survivors go back to tier 1 after snapping out you can't hold the game hostage like this anymore

No it's not the same thing lol. If a doctor is doing that they are going out of their way and INTENTIONALLY giving up hits to put the survivors in a state where they can not progress gens. If a doctor specifically follows someone around and keeps them in tier 3 without ever attempting a down yes that is holding a game hostage because the game can not end. Funny thing is, that's not what happened to the guy who made this post. The survivors still had the physical ability to do gens and therefore progress the game.

You are both not getting my point. Yeah, Doc has (or had) a unique way to stop games from ending but to me that quote shows are different point: That it is punishable if the killer refuses to finish the game.

OP and his teammate both went afk after they noticed that they would not be able to finish the gens (yes in theory you can finish the gens with two people but if the killer is just chasing you away and doesn't commit to a chase it is going to take an eternity, especially in solo queue where you can't coordinate you actions well. OP might also be new, what would make it even harder to deal with the situation) so the killer could have easily ended the match but he decided not to.

Instead of just hooking them (again if they are both afk there is no excuse like "I was worried about hatch") he downed them and then picked them up and dropped them which prolonged the game. You, Sonzaishinai, said that this should take about 10 minutes, I've seen other numbers in different discussions (30-40 min) so I don't know which guess is correct, but even ten minutes seems pretty unreasonable to me (if I remember correctly a Dev or Mod said that Survs hiding/doing nothing for 10 minutes would be enough to be reportable).

You could argue if it is against the rules for the survs to just give up, but I have never seen a Mod say anything in this direction (and since the Devs didn't get rid of killing yourself on hook when they changed the struggle mechanic I don't think the mind giving up, as long as you do not dc). I would argue that the situation could be comparable to farming and the Devs/Mods have said about that, that it is only okay if no one is forced to participate in the farming, so that would be another reason for me to assume that the behviour of the killer was not okay.

I know your point is more that it is grieving, not holding the game hostage, that might be right but it also seems unecessary nitpicky to me, considering that holding the game hostage is listed as griefing in the game rules (and griefing is the only category in which this situation would fit imo, if you follow the descriptions) I don't think the Mods would have to much trouble dealing with the report because the category is already correct, just the sub category does not fit perfectly (even though the other mentioned offenses in the griefing category wouldn't fit the Situation either so..).

Christ, now Survivors will avoid doing gens and blame the Killer for not handing them the game?

Uhh..The Killer was patrolling gens, which is supposed to be how he finds Survivors.

If you weren't doing YOUR goal of doing gens, then I'd say it was your fault, not the Killer's. He does not have to walk away from the gens & give them to Survivors that are being cowards.

It's not though because the game can still end. If he's being hyper defensive about gens that is not holding the game hostage. There is literally only ONE scenario on killer end that can be considered holding the game hostage and that is bodyblocking all remaining players into a corner/room. That is literally the ONLY point at which a game is held hostage by a killer. Anyone claiming anything else is just being a bit of a salty lad.

I'm amazed how confindently people people defend this position when the Devs have said this about 3-gen Doc:

    Screenshot_20210406-005902.png

If it is not how okay for a Doc to stall the game for a long time I don't see how someone stalling for an hour would be okay.

And about the gen finishing thing: It is hard to judge if the survivors could have played better in this scenario without a video but that shouldn't matter, if the Survs are bad you can kill them easily and in the oppositional situation, where two Survs are hiding you also wouldn't blame the Killer for not finding them even if a more experienced killer or a killer with better perks might have been able to.

Also ChantyBoi, the Mods have said multiple times that it counts as holding the game hostage if the killer blocks one or more Survs in the corner, even if other Survs are still able to finish the gens.

Mods on this forum have said multiple times that it is bannable if the killer blocks a surv for an extended time period, unless egc is active. @bm33 collected multiple mod comments, I don't know how to link a post so here is a screenshot:

So @Friendly_Blendette the killer will (probably, if the report system works) get punished unrelated to the 4. Survivor's behaviour.
