Yeah. Pretty much. Had a david teabagging and clicking at the exit gate just now as nurse on Ormond.
Even Ormond is hard for nurse. To big to get around
I used to hate Ormond.
Now, after getting RPD into Haddonfield into Haddonfield into Eyrie into Haddonfield into Badham, I almost cheer when I get it.

I’ve always been stuck between the two. Honestly, which is better? This is how is plays out in my head:
Ok, there are 4 survivors in the same area. Myers is Tier II, Ghostface has zero exposed on anyone. Myers could 4K them all because it isn’t one individual character exposed (i’m not sure if Ghostface can stalk more than one person at a time). So what do you guys think. Please tell me!
Myers: Less janky, more consistent. Way more interesting and better addons. Slightly lower power ceiling.
Ghostface: Janky, can be streaky. Really meh addons. Slightly stronger in the hands of a skilled killer.

1. Sabo squads can be really annoying but it's possible to deal with them without building around it. The first step is to quickly identify what's happening and adapt. The worst thing we can do is try to brute force it when they're coordinating sabos.
You can usually bait out the main sabo player by picking a survivor up and immediately dropping them. Now you know who the main sabo player is and can focus on them while you have a slug. If he runs to a dead hook zone you'll have a quick and easy down more often than not. Now you can slug him and find where the previous survivor is resetting. This is gradually drawing the entire team to the same area. They'll have to run to hooks or get snowballed clustered together. The boon obviously complicates things, but you'll have to snuff it. And obviously the strat will only go as far as your ability to down them quickly.
2. Same principle as baiting out a sabo player. Be patient. Swing your weapon at the locker. Feather your killer power. Remember that it's not the end of the match if it does happen. I do think the locker animation needs to change in order to allow killers to move their head.
Either way, my advice to every killer is to stay composed and make survivors play a clean game through 5 gens and endgame, whatever it is they're trying to do.
Standard sabos are fine. I actually welcome it - it's something that has play and counterplay, and at least they aren't slamming out gens.
It's when there's one hook in a pretty large region of a map, and they basically just keep it sabo'd to create a deadzone. Either I have to try to defend that hook constantly (which is really silly) or it's going to be a frustrating game.
Regarding the locker - I tried this and it turns into a standoff, while everyone else does gens. It's especially annoying when they are doing it for no other reason than to stall out the match for another 10 minutes.

Might be your MMR (I’m probably low). I usually play weekday mornings and don’t usually have that issue. At night, it’s a totally different story. I avoid nights as killer.
Yeah, I think I'm intermediate-high intermediate these days, and it's the complete reverse.
Weekday mornings - I play Hag or Demo (the two killers I'm best on) will full meta loadouts and the best addons I can muster, and I still have to fight for the 2k a lot of the time.
Weekday nights tend to be a lot better.

I must be stupid lucky then, i've literally never seen one.
I had a guy who CJ tech'd my dumb ass in a SWF with flashlights, but they were affable enough to be befriended.
Hmm. Try playing at different times of day. I'm not sure. In the last month, I've seen maybe 4 of these TTV bully squads and they tend to stick in your mind.

Cause they really aren't as rare as everyone makes them out to be
They aren't common - but that's the thing. Eventually, once more people figure it out, they'll become common. The DDS 'you can't reach me' spot was pretty uncommon, then it started to be used all the time.
The double locker thing was basically unheard of until a popular streamer did a semi-viral video on it, now I'm seeing it almost daily.

Tea bagging isn't a huge deal per say. It's the spamming I hate. If a survivor teabags I mostly ignore it. It's at the exit gates spamming when I get reckt is when it feels kinda bad
It's because it's pure gloating.
Doing it mid chase is sort of a flex, and it runs a bit of a risk.
There's no risk doing it once you've already won - all you are doing is rubbing salt in the wounds and probably making someone go back to Blight or Nurse, or just log off for the day.

Unfortunately people took it way too seriously.
Sigh. I just wish that we could all get along, be nicer to each other and work towards a game that is fun for everyone. Right now the mindset on the forums is so incredibly partisan that it's hard to get anything done.

My friend and I have tried playing as Survivor for quite a bit of time to no avail to finding a match. Friend hopped in to playing as the Killer on a separate match to try, and found one within seconds.
I don't know if it's just late, and no one wants to play Killer, or there's an issue somewhere. I'm looking for one as I typed this, but I will exit, then reopen the game.
We just started playing, so I don't think that would have to effect anything.
P.S. The party privacy is set to public.
I've found that it depends on the time of day, but generally my survivor queues range from 2 minutes to almost 20. Watching Otz and co, this seems to be about the norm.
My killer queues range from maybe 10 seconds to 2 minutes at most, and that's very early morning.
@xxshyguyxx said:
It's because late nights tend to have more 4man swfs. And most killers don't want to get bullied so they stop playing.
I'd suggest if you get a match, and you win, don't harass the killer. Give him or her a gg and words of encouragement.
God bless killers that play late. Bless them.
Weirdly, I see way more swfs in the early-mid morning, especially weekdays.
That said - yes, absolutely. Be nicer to killers (and yes, this also applies to mean killer players who abuse survivors, but I see that a lot less). Don't teabag, don't flicky flicky, don't gloat in postgame. This is stuff that definitely makes people not want to play.

I like Demo, too bad he's not for sale any more. 🙁
Blight's also a good killer. Has a bit higher skill floor but you can at least get around the map quickly with him even if you have trouble landing Lethal Rushes. And his ability is run to use.
I personally like Freddy and Doctor, they're not as powerful as Blight but I like they way they work.
Blight is great, but some of his addons need a tweak. They are a tad too strong.
Doctor is one of my favorites, but the wonky validation on his shocks never ceases to annoy the pants off me. People also hate playing against him for some reason (Pig and Myers I can understand due to some of their meaner addons, but Doctor is weird).
Freddy...sigh. He used to be brilliant, and a few slight tweaks would have reigned him in. Gutting his addons just makes him boring now I find.

There is no counter for this despite what everyone says. This is a broken 4 man swf who came in to bully the killer and control everything in the match. You can't hook them, if you slug them they get picked up immediately, if you chase someone they know how to abuse broken loops on maps.
I play Myers and when I run into this where I can't hook anyone I slug 1 person and stand over there slugged body with tier 3 ready. Anyone comes close they go down, they can watch there teammate bleed out on the floor. No cheesey busted 4 man escape for you guys.
Myers I can at least instadown them, and slug multiple people.
Wraith and Pig...oh man this was rough. I ended up having to AFK on two occasions because it was that or get memed on for 45 minutes.

it's an amazing map to run killers imo. even 8k+ hour killer sweats will struggle to have more than 2k in this map.
Yeah it needs some tweaking. Another hook on the shack side for starters so you can't just sabo forever and a change to the density of the jungle gyms.
Watched a game recently where a very good killer wound up here on Billy and basically couldn't do anything.

yeah that is the way to get around franklin's users. it's just that there are some sad killers out there getting a hard-on on the survivors losing their items. hag thief build, for example. funny meme build lmao 😂
Shrug.
If I'm playing Hag or Wraith and see 4 medkits, I'm probably going to run Franklins because if I don't, my pressure evaporates. 4 toolboxes is much the same, especially if it's going to be a really frustrating sabo squad who want to stall the game indefinitely.
Outside of that Franklins is a gimmick. I'll run it with Hoarder if I'm feeling creative, but outside the above two cases there are more consistent perks.
-
@dallasmedicbag said:
Why is there a perk that hard counters a 6k BP offering on the killer side? Getting hit by Franklin's and having a time limit to come back to pick your item up is annoying enough, but this minute perk counters an offering? Where is the logic in that?
Survivors can't do the same to killers, killers will have their addons in use for the entire match and won't be affected by anything the survivors bring.
Also can anyone explain why in the world survivors lose their addons despite escaping the trial? Don't say it's to make it "fair" for the killers because killers no matter how bad they play, they will always end up getting more BPs than the best survivor with 4 bbq stacks, which justifies the loss of their addons.
This game has catered so much to the killers that to see them complaining in the forums is laughable heh.
There are survivor perks that can blind-counter multiple killer addons and perks. Shadowstep versus anything with aura reading, for example.
If someone runs Franklins, just drop the item if you are worried and pick it up once you are safe.

I genuinely love the map its not even a question my favourite map aesthetically balance wise it is heavily one sided unfortunately but even when people send me there as killer or i get it and get smacked i cant help but just have so much fun just looking at the map and the massive structures for the gates and main building even the outside of the map that you can see from the exit gates is beautiful. So while its not balanced in the slightest whats everyone's thoughts on it?
I like the visuals.
I don't like the hook spawns where a single sabo turns an entire chunk of the map into a 'you can't hook me if I go down here' zone, the un-pickupable zone in the main building or the crazy linked vaults/pallets.

How the hell do you apparently keep getting all the SEAL Team 6 bully squads?
Probably a matter of the time of day. Weekday mornings tend to have a lot of premades with Spanish, Portugeuse, Kanji or Russian names that tend to do this stuff a lot.
It could also be my specific MMR bracket.
@RaSavage42 said:
That depends on how early you notice it happening
If it's early game then get the down (or see the first Survivor enter the locker) and look for the other survivor
If it's late game then get the down (or see the first Survivor enter the locker) then half ass look for the other survivor
If Boons are in play then snuff them out
I'll be honest and say that I don't know what I'd do in those situations... they sounds way to specific for me
But if it's happing a lot then run different perks.... Why run the "meta"
Because it's not every game. It's...maybe 1 in 15-20. But when it happens its bloody frustrating, because it feels like there isn't much I can really do, especially when they want to stall the game out.
The issue is that I don't really want to take one specific loadout just in case I run into this.
@Sonzaishinai said:
For the first one just leave the survivor slugged. Especially if you see the other one saboing.
Not getting a hookstate sucks but in the end it's still a survivor not being able to so anything and still a survivor having to come get them. If you start chasing the saboteur that's 3 survivors not on gens. That's not bad pressure even without the hook
If you have trouble with boons in certain maps i suggest playing some survivor games with small game on that map and focusing solely on finding the totems so you get a feel for where they spawn.
Especially if you can do it in kyf with a friend. Couple of games of seeing how fast you can find all the totems and boons become a lot less of a problem
For the second problem the best i can say is ignore them untill they are the last ones left and let them run out their flashlights.
Unless you brought a perk or killer that can specifically counter this like Legion or trapper i also wouldn't know how to effectively deal with it
That's basically what I do. The problem is that it starts to feel like I'm digging holes in water.
I down someone, and they get popped back up again or I have to stand over them and smack them down. I cleanse the boon spot and the second I'm chasing someone, it gets blessed again.
It's not uncounter-able, it's just really, really annoying.

It is. His twitch name starts with P and ends with e.
Yeah I think that might be the same guy.
Twitch for some reason refuses to ban him, and (apparently) he has a hack that lets him unlock all perks simultaneously on his survivor. If he gets banned, he just grabs another cheapo account and gets right back to it. I think he popped up in an Otz stream a bit back, and if that doesn't get him banned then I don't think anything will.

1: They're not doing anything, chase someone else.
2: They're also not doing anything, chase someone else.
The thing is - this isn't being done in isolation. Whenever I chase someone, they run to the 'safe zone'. They lose time, but it becomes a situation where it's nearly impossible to apply pressure or even end the game if they want to stall things out.
The worst one was a recent 4man on Eyrie who kept an Exponential/COH/Overcome boon at the 'rear' of the map, where there's only one viable hook. They 99'd the last gen and basically just sat there, keeping the hook sabo'd and bodyblocking/healing.

literally just let them chase you it means they arent doing gens as for the flashlight saves if there is no wall to kiss then just fake pick up and hit them once and when they run away just turn the opposite direction and pick up
The issue arises when people know that there is an area of the map with literally only one viable hook and always sabo it. Eyrie, RPD, Pantry, Badham, Haddonfield and sometimes Midwich are horrible in this regard.
It makes this area into a complete deadzone where you will either be totally unable to hook someone that goes down there, or makes it incredibly easy to deny hooks with a small amount of bodyblocking. I've yet to find an answer to this.

I'm trying to pick up Hag again (because I've burned through every other killer and my friends tell me she's fun), but all the usual killer tips don't work with her and I can't seem to wrap my head around her power. The traps end up hurting me more than helping me, and I can't figure out how to effectively chase with her. Survivors either just run away while I'm setting a trap or set it off at a distance. Any tips?
A few tricks from a non-camping Hag.
- Put traps in 'junction' areas - doorways, main structures etc.
- Put traps on one side of a pallet/vault, but far away enough that it won't just get triggered the second someone approaches from the other side. This will take some getting used to.
- Put traps at the bottom of drops and holes.
- Avoid chasing for too long. Ideally, you get one hit then herd them towards traps.
- At first, concentrate your traps in high traffic areas. Later, you'll learn when to put them on the outsides of buildings etc.
- Traps at the top of staircases or in dark/grassy areas are fantastic.
- On very open maps, you'll want to trap the main structure primarily. On smaller/indoor maps, you can be more liberal and spread them out.
- When someone drops a pallet, move back a bit and put a trap down. This will stop them from safely triggering it.
- Run Monitor on Hag, this shrinks her TR to a very small level and will let you both set traps down unobserved and get easy 'first hits'.
- Put traps near (but not on) active totems.
- Don't bother trapping gens.
- Usually I'll start the game off by trapping as I go, heading for the main structure, get about 6 down total then start checking gens.
- You will lose gens early on Hag. Don't worry too much about it.

I recommend you use Lightborn over Starstruck. When I notice the killer has Starstruck, I avoid being near them and focus on gens rather than rescue and I’d think other survivors who are better than me would do the same.
With Lightborn, you can pretend that you don’t have it and just let the survivors think they’re not using flashlights properly by tilting your head in a direction away from the light. Many of them are stubborn and would keep trying to blind you, giving you a free hit, though the wiser ones would figure it out eventually.
With really annoying survivors, whose obvious goal isn’t to play the game but rather, to annoy the killer, you can pretend to afk so they can all gather around you. You can then get a couple of free hits.
The reason I say 'use Starstruck' is because it has utility, especially when paired with Agitation, even if people know you have it.
Once you show Lightborn, it just encourages people to not go for flashlight saves. Starstruck makes everyone paranoid and gets them running the second you down someone.

A few tricks.
- Run Agitation+Starstruck.
- Listen carefully, then do a Crazy Ivan (sudden 180) and hit them.

Point 4 was under the survivor side
- How? Stuff like Ring, MDR, finger are obviously OP and probably make it harder to balance that killer.
As to the rest...I'm not seeing the issue. Why are you being fussy about formatting?
I do think that both sides have issues that aren't obvious to both sides - but I also do think that the overall thrust of the game's direction tends to favor survivors.

Before you lynch me, hear me out.
I've been playing Billy for a while now, trying to get better with him, and the overheat mechanic rarely comes into play. I play with no add-ons as well, so I am talking solely about the base overheat.
All that it does is punish you for spamming your saw. Sometimes it can screw you over with curves, but unless you have double engravings you wont always be able to land certain curves anyways since you don't go fast enough. It also punishes using your saw too early and makes you have to actually position yourself before hand. If you watch a lot of the pro mlg billies before the nerf you'll see that they sit there a while. Just revving until they're in the right spot. Sometimes it would go on for a ridiculous amount of time and I think that's mostly what was trying to be prevented. You're on a real timer to land it instead of getting comfortable and doing it whenever its convenient.
Another aspect of it was his unlimited mobility before. You didn't really have to worry about committing to chases because you could always abandon them and go across half the map if you realized you screwed up. In a sort of ironic twist this is the same problem with have with Blight now, but that's not what this post is about. You could say that it isn't technically unlimited due to obstacles and limited pathing. But it also isn't hard to get close, even if you don't zoom all the way into the party.
ANOTHER Another aspect is that it puts pressure into landing your saws. A lot of Billies would put on the crack add-ons and just back rev you to death. Now if you miss its a bigger deal. If you play bad and miss your back revs there's a legitimate punishment. Instead of "oh well I'll just try again" as the survivors 360 in desperation.
It gives him a real punishment for screwing up. It can be argued that the bump time is the punishment, but that alone doesn't deter you from just saw spamming. It does definitely make him harder and more intimidating to learn. And I don't think that it was an entirely necessary change. But it also didn't kill him. A lot of the time when killers get nerfed people overreact and pull the alarm. And this is just another case of that. I understand why people are mad. Billy is one of the most enjoyable killers to play as and against for a lot of people. But he still has a lot of potential to snowball and keep pressure on survivors.
Now is the part where I get called a noob survivor main lol
Sometimes a nerf does more damage than what is reflected numerically.
Billy is still viable, but like Slinger his nerf made him a lot more clunky to play.

- DH isn't a free win, but it can amount to a third health state if used correctly and if BHVR can't fix the validation issues eating powers and giving fake hits, then DH will need to be rebalanced to account for this.
- Moderately safe? That's fine, as long as there's some way to play around it. Being 100% unhookable with a single sabo or being able to completely guarantee a flashlight save? That needs fixing.

It's a lose-lose scenario. You either smurf and get fun games for yourself (like you suggest) but you also ruin games for other people. However, if you stay at your "correct" rank, you get more unfun matches but you don't ruin other people's games.
Ranks were basically the former, but it being much easier to smurf.
I'm not sure what the answer here is, sadly. That sounds like how MMR is supposed to work.

Dbd is the OG and nobody can take that away, but I feel like there are a few aspects those other games nailed that Dbd is missing out on, in my opinion when you go back to dbd after playing those for a couple weeks straight it gets boring after a few matches and makes you wanna switch it up more often, this community is like a soured elderly person that gets pissed about anything and everything at this point and I really think the opposite about the other games it seems like nobody takes those games as serious as they do dbd, the fun has been sucked away by both sides of the community always being upset and finding a ridiculous reason to ######### on someone. Do you think these other games will ever be a real competitor for DBD? What would you bring from the other games to improve DBD?
Propnight is like a janky, less varied version of DbD. I don't see it being more than a flash-in-the-pan gimmick for a while, then fading into obscurity.
VHS is legitimately decent (if a bit rough), but it's so different to DbD that I don't foresee it stealing many players away.
That all said - there's room for multiple games of a similar genre to exist at the same time.

Last 5 games.
Artist: Plaything, Pintimento, new scourge hook and Deadlock.
All 5 games were 4K's. Two of those I had to try, the others were stomps
Interesting. I find Deadlock backfires on me hard sometimes.
I'm also seeing more and more groups just never cleanse Plaything, as they anticipate Penti. I've started running Surge+PR+Plaything+BBQ/LP and it's like a free Oblivious all game.

We all know speeding is against the law in every state but if nobody ever got a ticket for it then is it really l?
It's funny you say this. Christmas Eve, we are driving to the wife's brother's house for dinner. Everyone is speeding. I tell her (as I always do) - drive as if there was a cop around.
She says: "There aren't going to be any cops out on Christmas Eve, come on". But I'm insistent.
A minute later, a Dodge Caravan howls past us at at least 20 over the limit, with her giving me a very spiky look.
Two minutes later, we pass the same Caravan pulled over by a cop.
She says nothing and drives the limit for the rest of the way.

I love Ring movies and i love Samara (Sadako). I am so excited for her, great teaser btw! I was planning to p3 and main Spirit because she is closest thing to Sadako. But after i saw Sadako, now i am waiting for her.
Sadako has chance for being different type killer. She can teleport like Demo or Freddy, this will be her map mobility power. And for passive power, she can have 4 v 1 power, like Pinhead's box. Or maybe new stealth killer? I think she has really good potential. Hope BHVR will not make her another boring anti-loop killer.
We'll see.
Right now, a lot of what makes a killer viable is either the ability to counter looping (Huntress) or negate it completely (Nurse, Blight).
I'm excited for Sadako, and I don't want her to be another Cenobite - crap, with one or two gimmicks that will get nerfed to the ground in a month or two.

Will I get banned if I use an auto clicker to farm shards and BP?
Technically, as per the letter of the 'law' - yes. It qualifies as automation and non-participation.
In reality? I'm not sure. I can't even find anecdotal evidence of someone being banned for it.
That said - don't do it. You are potentially ruining the game for dozens of other people.

This perk would have been good pre boons but they decided to put this perk after boons now have they're mark and its so terrible. Why would ANYONE use Hex: Pimento? You cant even fit it on any build because someones bound to have boons. The only way i see it being good is if no one runs boons that game but even then no ones gonna cleanse dull totems, it would have to go on a all Hex build with no one having boons.
One of the worst perks in the game imo
I use it with Plaything on Plague. It works pretty well - but the core issue is not being able to penti if they decide to boon a lot. If snuffing a boon broke that totem, Penti would feel a lot better.

There were definitely complaints about Exponential, as well as Overcome.
Old Undying was powerful with Ruin and pretty much only Ruin, just like how people say Boons are strong but really they only mean CoH, Shadow Step and Exponential are fine
I maintain that Overcome is very, very strong - possibly overpowered. The issue is that it competes with Dead Hard (which is even stronger) and SB (which a lot of people are very comfortable with). If DH got nerfed, you'd see it a lot more in SWFs.
And yes - you agree with me. The issue was Ruin, and if Ruin was too strong it should have been adjusted. Nerfing Undying instead was a nerf to all hex play.
@Tiufal said:
So the issue would be that the matchmaking doesnt pair you with players on your skill level and NOT that playing killer is miserable (cause thats not true).
It can be both.
The core issue with killer is that so much of your fun is outside of your control. It depends heavily on the map you get and what survivors do.
My current bugbear is duos abusing dual lockers and flashlights to stall a game out for ages (thanks to a recent video that went semi viral, I'm seeing this nonsense all too frequently) or maps with wonky hook spawns where one sabo can make an entire region of the map unhookable (Eyrie is bad for this).

And so have I.
But that doesn't mean that the majority of the Solo Q players play like headless chickens and yet, they make up 80% of the playerbase.
I can name exceptions any time, but that doesn't change the general perception and opinions of killers and survivors in the current state. SWF beats killers and killers destroy solo q survivors. Simple as that, but do you see me crying a river?
I don't see anyone crying a river. I see people giving feedback about a videogame on a forum specifically for this purpose.
I'd say that maybe 75% of the solos I face give me a pretty decent challenge.
The big issue, to my mind, is SBMM. A lot of my 'wat' games are either against people far less experienced than myself or far more experienced than myself.

Some of my favorites are pyramid head, blight and nemesis. But demo has my favorite one and I often find myself just listening to the theme than starting a game. I wish we could pick a theme when we play survivor. What are yours?
- Legion.
- Cenobite (they captured the musical style from the films perfectly).
- Nemesis (ditto).

I honestly appreciate your take on this, as a killer main myself, a lot of killers i had fun with and were good at were nerfed because of whiny survivors or just because the devs felt like it. I have lost at least 2 killer mans due to the community wanting nerfs to killers every damn time.
Woof, yes.
So many killers I enjoyed were napalmed, despite already being mediocre-at-best, when one or two small adjustments to problematic addons would have sufficed.
Wraith triple nerfed? Check.
Pinhead's addons gutted? Check.
Slinger flattened? Check.
Twins made even more clunky? Check.
Absolutely bizarre nerfs to Hillbilly? Check and check.

You can buff killers to balance the game around competitive SWF, or you can nerf killers to balance around 4-man Solo Qs, there's no in-between that will feel 100% balanced. What we get now may give you an easy match now and an unbeatable rival next match, it's quite random really. But the reason the majority of survivors won't join the cause is that most of them are just Solo Qs, not sweaty squads, so buffing killers will only hurt them not the others
I don't think Cenobite or Wraith were destroying anyone outside of very new players. Billy had one problematic addon based playstyle and didn't need his entire kit mauled.
The issue isn't so much nerfs, it's overnerfs without any help elsewhere in that killer's kit.

Leader- faster action speeds for my teammates
Whispers- (it's not talked about a lot so...) It's great to know a Survivor is nearby
I would say Oppression and Surveillance but I haven't played with them in a while
Oppression...I played with it for a while, combined with Pop. It can be fun at lower MMRs for sure, but the cooldown is obscene.
Whispers is always a solid perk.
Surveillance is another solid perk, especially since they fixed the stupid bug. I really like it with Surge/Pain Resonance.

This game is survivor sided, the only fun side to play is survivor. Where you can do mistakes and get away with it. Killers do 1 mistake and its game over. With the introduction of boon totems its almost impossible to win as killer. Hit validation is an insult where u get the hit but it does not even register. Even low rank survivors have an easy time to win. GG Behavior you have ######### up your game
I agree that the game is survivor favored in the average match, assuming equal skill levels and the killer isn't running one of a handful of a few genuinely busted addons.
However:
- It's not quite as bad as people make it out to be, outlier cases and a few really dumb maps excepted.
- A lot of the issue comes from SBMM pooping itself because someone waited in a queue for too long.
- I still consider killer to be a much more entertaining experience than playing survivor, in part because the role is so much more demanding.
- Too many nerfs to already mediocre killers seem to arise from them overperforming at very low MMRs, which I really dislike.
- The game is better now than it was a year ago.

Notice how most of them are from Killers though?
Even if they are just rants, the volume of them should indicate that Killers are not in a good state.
When one side of a videogame is significantly more frustrated than the other side, doesn't that suggest that maybe something might be a bit squiffy with your game?

Distortion.
It's always been just a tad underwhelming, because its only 3 stacks, but Shadow Step has now made it irrelevant. I think it makes for a fun "I don't want to be chased first" Object of Obsession build, tho.
On killer, Furtive Chase. I love trying to make my terror radius as small as possible.
I play info heavy, and always worried about Distortion. Shadowstep is pure anti-fun - it's not that it's strong, it's that it can basically blind counter a build I want to use.

Why's SWF being the center of discussion here? Have you ever played solo Q?
SWF>>Killers>>>>>Solo Q is the general consensus and yet you complain about being matched up against what, 4~5% of the entire survivor playerbase?
You can't seriously want a "fair" asymmetrical game when there's Discord available for everyone. If you don't like playing asymmetrical games, then go play something else.
Eh. I've been up against some genuinely great players outside of SWFs.
What is annoying is how often I feel like I lost a game not because I made any serious mistakes, but because I chose the wrong killer/perks for the map I was sent to. Haddonfield on Billy versus Haddonfield on Nurse is almost like a different game.

then maybe get thicker skin and don't let flashlight clicks and body blocking start ur joker arc
I have no idea what you are trying to say here.
Certainly the onus is on the people being nasty to stop being nasty, not the people being annoyed by them?
There isn't much you can do versus a coordinated squad who decide to stall the game out endlessly.

It's the official forums. Every loss is due to a 4 man SWF on comms and killers can't improve because every killer is at "high MMR".
Eh.
It's more that I (and I'm guessing a lot of other people at a roughly intermediate MMR) has far too many games against groups that absolutely stomp me and then stall the game out needlessly with ridiculous coordination, only for me to realize that I'm up against a 3-4man SWF in postgame with 10x my hours on the least experienced member.
Those 'why on earth did you match me up against that?' games tend to stay with you, particularly as these groups also tend to be incredibly meanspirited.

No, I just think it's stupid that one killer can start the match by putting someone on the hook, and if they choose it, that person is just dead. There's no counterplay, the best outcome is just killing off that person in exchange for gen progress.
Other killers have 1 shots but nobody else can guarantee hitting both the survivors involved with zero cooldown, no buildup like stalking etc. At best you have BT and he still just trades you onto the hook, and worst he can still catch up and down after BT.
I don't think 1 hit downs, or camping, or killers need a change. I think Leatherface needs a change.
What's interesting about facecamping is that it's about as fun to execute as it is to play against. It's a really boring, really dull way to play the game.
The real question is - why do so many killers play that style so much? Is it the easiest route to victory, or is it a matter of them feeling like other approaches aren't as consistent? Both, perhaps?
I think a lot of killers worry that BHVR will nerf Bubba without helping him in other areas, as they did that with a half dozen other killers recently.

When due to someones connection the survivor disappears in front of you. Or the killer appears out of no where. I've lost track of the games I've lost to people's cheap connection.
Oof. Too many to name.
- People who gloat at you, after you give them gate.
- People who rage DC.
- Dead Hard giving me a fake hit at a crucial point of the game.
- Maps that allow survivors to hold W through multiple vaults and pallets with almost nothing I can do to catch up.
- Having multiple gens pop before I see a survivor.
- CoH.

Again... this goes both ways...
Reason why you dont see Survivors giving away free kills is because that is a large portion of their BP, 5000 to be exact.
This happens with killers as well, remember Power Struggle? Buffed Lucky Break? Reworked Built to Last? Boon: Exponential? Killer mains immediately start typing away without any proper play testing.
Also you had some people say that old Undying was fine, when it clearly wasnt. Not to say Boons are fine, they definitely need tweaking.
So yes, both sides are the same. Theyre both equally as guilty
I don't think that many were that worried about Expo, it was more Overcome (which I maintain that if DH got nerfed, you'd see a lot in SWFs).
Old Undying was fine. The issue was Ruin.
Aside from Ruin and maybe Devour, which other hexes were even a mild concern with Undying?

Boons. Maps. Fake hits via dead hard. Bugs. More bugs. Unjustified nerfs to already mediocre killers. BM survivors.

I've recently begun to notice that some survivors seem to render certain killer players as obnoxious for playing a certain way during the trials i.e camping/tunneling. While I can understand this experience can be upsetting (I've faced it on numerous occasions) I don't see it as a reason to view the killer player as obnoxious though. I've also seen this escalate further to bullying and harassment happening in the end game chat, where unspeakable and awful comments are passed to others as a result of it. In the game (especially in it's currently climate with MMR) killer's must do everything they can to achieve even what is considered "a fair and balanced win" which is a 2K sometimes. One thing survivors need to realize is that the killer is the antagonist, they are supposed to be oppressive and do everything they can in order achieve their objective. As long as they do that within the parameters of the game's rules they can try and achieve their objective in any way they see fit. It is not your call to make. Killer's are not your playthings who are to bend your wishes just so YOU can have fun. They have to have fun as well and if this is how they decide to have fun then so be it. Killer's are players too we must remember. If the way killer's play to accomplish their goals (which is in contrast to yours of course) upsets or contradicts your subjective sense of what you feel entitled to then it may be in your best interest to play something else. This is the way it is.
Shrug.
I don't camp outside of EOGC and I'll tunnel, but not off hook.
I get exactly the same amount of salt/BM in postgame no matter what I do.
Play Demo? 'Just play normally scrub'.
